We perform a deep survey of planetary nebulae (PNe) in the spiral galaxy NGC 300 to construct its planetary nebula luminosity function (PNLF). We aim to derive the distance using the PNLF and to probe the characteristics of the most luminous PNe. We analyse 44 fields observed with MUSE at the VLT, covering a total area of $\sim11$ kpc$^2$. We find [OIII]5007 sources using the differential emission line filter (DELF) technique. We identify PNe through spectral classification using the aid of the BPT-diagram. The PNLF distance is derived using the maximum likelihood estimation technique. For the more luminous PNe, we also measure their extinction using the Balmer decrement. We estimate the luminosity and effective temperature of the central stars of the luminous PNe, based on estimates of the excitation class and the assumption of optically thick nebulae. We identify 107 PNe and derive a most-likely distance modulus $(m-M)_0 = 26.48^{+0.11}_{-0.26}$ ($d = 1.98^{+0.10}_{-0.23}$ Mpc). We find that the PNe at the PNLF cut-off exhibit relatively low extinction, with some high extinction cases caused by local dust lanes. We present the lower limit luminosities and effective temperatures of the central stars for some of the brighter PNe. We also identify a few Type I PNe that come from a young population with progenitor masses $>2.5 \, M_\odot$, however do not populate the PNLF cut-off. The spatial resolution and spectral information of MUSE allow precise PN classification and photometry. These capabilities also enable us to resolve possible contamination by diffuse gas and dust, improving the accuracy of the PNLF distance to NGC 300.
Aims. As a new approach to the study of resolved stellar populations in nearby galaxies, our goal is to demonstrate in NGC300 that integral field spectroscopy with high spatial resolution and excellent seeing conditions reaches an unprecedented depth in severely crowded fields. Methods. MUSE observations with seven pointings in NGC300 have resulted in datacubes that are analyzed in four ways: (1) PSF-fitting 3D spectroscopy with PampelMUSE yields deblended spectra of individually distinguishable stars. The technique also provides samples of planetary nebulae that are complete down to m5007=28.…
The large field and wavelength range of MUSE is well suited to mapping Galactic planetary nebulae (PN). The bright PN NGC 7009 was observed with MUSE on the VLT during the Science Verification of the instrument in seeing of 0.6". Emission line maps in hydrogen Balmer and Paschen lines were formed from analysis of the MUSE cubes. The measured electron temperature and density from the MUSE cube were employed to predict the theoretical hydrogen line ratios and map the extinction distribution across the nebula. After correction for the interstellar extinction to NGC 7009, the internal dust-to-gas …
We introduce VLT-MUSE observations of the central 2$'\times2'$ (30$\times$30 pc) of the Tarantula Nebula in the Large Magellanic Cloud. The observations provide an unprecedented spectroscopic census of the massive stars and ionised gas in the vicinity of R136, the young, dense star cluster located in NGC 2070, at the heart of the richest star-forming region in the Local Group. Spectrophotometry and radial-velocity estimates of the nebular gas (superimposed on the stellar spectra) are provided for 2255 point sources extracted from the MUSE datacubes, and we present estimates of stellar radial v…
Recent wide-field integral field spectroscopy has revealed the detailed properties of high redshift Lyman-alpha (Lya) nebulae, most often targeted due to the presence of an active galactic nucleus (AGN). Here, we use VLT/MUSE to resolve the morphology and kinematics of a nebula initially identified due to strong Lya emission at $z\sim3.2$ (LABn06; Nilsson et al. 2006). Our observations reveal a two-lobed Lya nebula, at least $\sim$173 pkpc in diameter, with a light-weighted centroid near a mid-infrared source (within $\approx$17.2 pkpc) that appears to host an obscured AGN. The Lya emission ne…
We present first results from Multi Unit Spectroscopic Explorer (MUSE) observations at the Very Large Telescope in the MUSE Ultra Deep Field (MUDF), a $\approx 1.2\times 1.4$ arcmin$^2$ region for which we are collecting $\approx$200 hours of integral field spectroscopy. The $\approx 40$-hour observation completed to date reveals the presence of a group of three Ly$α$ nebulae associated with a bright quasar pair at $z\simeq3.23$ with projected separation of $\approx 500\rm~kpc$. Two of the nebulae are physically associated with the quasars which are likely powering the Ly$α$ emission, and exte…
We provide an overview of Science Verification MUSE observations of NGC 2070, the central region of the Tarantula Nebula in the Large Magellanic Cloud. Integral-field spectroscopy of the central 2' x 2' region provides the first complete spectroscopic census of its massive star content, nebular conditions and kinematics. The star-formation surface density of NGC 2070 is reminiscent of the intense star-forming knots of high-redshift galaxies, with nebular conditions similar to low-redshift Green Pea galaxies, some of which are Lyman continuum leakers. Uniquely, MUSE permits the star-formation h…
We present the analysis of Very Large Telescope (VLT) Multi Unit Spectroscopic Explorer (MUSE) observations of the planetary nebula (PN) IC 4406. MUSE images in key emission lines are used to unveil the presence of at least 5 ring-like structures North and South of the main nebula of IC 4406. MUSE spectra are extracted from the rings to unambiguously assess for the first time in a PN their physical conditions, electron density (ne) and temperature (Te). The rings are found to have similar Te than the rim of the main nebula, but smaller ne. Ratios between different ionic species suggest that th…
The Multi-Unit Spectroscopic Explorer (MUSE) is a large integral field unit mounted on the ESO Very Large Telescope. Its spatial (60 arcsecond field) and wavelength (4800-9300A) coverage is well suited to detailed imaging spectroscopy of extended planetary nebulae, such as in the Galaxy. An overview of the capabilities of MUSE applied to planetary nebulae (PNe) is provided together with the specific advantages and disadvantages. Some examples of archival MUSE observations of PNe are provided. MUSE datacubes for two targets (NGC 3132 and NGC 7009) have been analysed in detail and they are used …
Ionized nebulae provide critical insights into the conditions of the interstellar medium (ISM). Their bright emission lines enable the measurement of physical properties, such as the gas-phase metallicity, across galaxy disks and in distant galaxies. The PHANGS--MUSE survey has produced optical spectroscopic coverage of the central star-forming discs of 19 nearby main-sequence galaxies. Here, we use the Hα morphology from this data to identify 30,790 distinct nebulae, finding thousands of nebulae per galaxy. For each nebula, we extract emission line fluxes and, using diagnostic line ratios, id…
In this contribution, we present the results of a study on the high abundance discrepancy factor (ADF $\sim$ 10) planetary nebula (PN) NGC 6153 with MUSE. We have constructed flux maps for dozens of emission lines, that allowed us to build spatially resolved maps of extinction, electron temperature ($T_{\rm e}$), electron density ($n_{\rm e}$), and ionic abundances. We have simultaneously constructed ADF maps for O$^+$ and O$^{2+}$ and found that they centrally peak in this PN, with a remarkable spatial coincidence with the low $T_{\rm e}$ found from recombination line diagnostics. This findin…
There are known differences between the physical properties of HII and diffuse ionized gas (DIG), but most of the studied regions in the literature are relatively bright. We compiled a faint sample of 390 HII regions with median $\log_{10}Hα$=34.7 in the spiral galaxy NGC300, derived their physical properties in terms of metallicity, density, extinction, and kinematics, and performed a comparative analysis of the properties of the DIG. We used MUSE data of nine fields in NGC300, covering a galactocentric distance of zero to ~450 arcsec (~4 projected kpc), including spiral arm and inter-arm reg…
A nebular analysis of the central Orion Nebula and its main structures is presented. We exploit MUSE integral field observations in the wavelength range 4595-9366 Å to produce the first O, S and N ionic and total abundance maps of a region spanning 6' x 5' with a spatial resolution of 0.2". We use the S$_{23}$ ( = ([SII]$λ$6717,31+[SIII]$λ$9068)/H$β$) parameter, together with [OII]/[OIII] as an indicator of the degree of ionisation, to distinguish between the various small-scale structures. The only Orion Bullet covered by MUSE is HH 201, which shows a double component in the [FeII]$λ$8617 lin…

Distance uncertainties plague our understanding of the physical scales relevant to the physics of star formation in extragalactic studies. The planetary nebulae luminosity function (PNLF) is one of very few techniques that can provide distance estimates to within ~10%, however it requires a planetary nebula (PN) sample that is uncontaminated by other ionizing sources. We employ optical IFU spectroscopy using MUSE on the VLT to measure [OIII] line fluxes for sources unresolved on 50 pc scales within the central star-forming galaxy disk of NGC 628. We use diagnostic line ratios to identify 62 PN…
We report on the discovery of extended Ly-alpha nebulae at z~3.3 in the Hubble Ultra Deep Field (HUDF, ~ 40 kpc X 80 kpc) and behind the Hubble Frontier Fields galaxy cluster MACSJ0416 (~ 40kpc), spatially associated with groups of star-forming galaxies. VLT/MUSE integral field spectroscopy reveals a complex structure with a spatially-varying double peaked Ly-alpha emission. Overall, the spectral profiles of the two Ly-alpha nebulae are remarkably similar, both showing a prominent blue emission, more intense and slightly broader than the red peak. From the first nebula, located in the HUDF, no…
A quantitative spectral analysis of BA-type supergiants and bright giants in an inner spiral arm region of the nearby spiral galaxy NGC 300 is presented, based on observations with the Multi Unit Spectroscopic Explorer (MUSE) on the European Southern Obsevatory, Very Large Telescope (ESO, VLT). The flux-weighted gravity-luminosity relationship (FGLR), a stellar spectroscopic distance determination method for galaxies, is extended towards stars at lower luminosities. Point spread function fitting 3D spectroscopy was performed with PampelMUSE on the datacube. The 16 stars with the highest signal…
We present a new integral-field spectroscopic dataset of the central part of the Orion Nebula (M 42), observed with the MUSE instrument at the ESO VLT. We reduced the data with the public MUSE pipeline. The output products are two FITS cubes with a spatial size of ~5.9'x4.9' (corresponding to ~0.76 pc x 0.63 pc) and a contiguous wavelength coverage of 4595...9366 Angstrom, spatially sampled at 0.2". We provide two versions with a sampling of 1.25 Angstrom and 0.85 Angstrom in dispersion direction. Together with variance cubes these files have a size of 75 and 110 GiB on disk. They represent on…
The spatial structure of the emission lines and continuum over the 50 arcsecond extent of the nearby, O-rich, planetary nebula NGC 7009 (Saturn Nebula) have been observed with the MUSE integral field spectrograph on the ESO Very Large Telescope. Science Verification data, in <0.6 arcsecond seeing, have been reduced and analysed as images over the wavelength range 4750-9350A. Emission line maps over the bright shells are presented, from neutral to the highest ionization available (He II and [Mn V]). For collisionally excited lines (CELs), maps of electron temperature (T_e from [N II] and [S III…
We provide new planetary nebula luminosity function (PNLF) distances to 19 nearby spiral galaxies that were observed with VLT/MUSE by the PHANGS collaboration. Emission line ratios are used to separate planetary nebulae (PNe) from other bright [OIII] emitting sources like compact supernovae remnants (SNRs) or HII regions. While many studies have used narrowband imaging for this purpose, the detailed spectral line information provided by integral field unit (IFU) spectroscopy grants a more robust way of categorising different [OIII] emitters. We investigate the effects of SNR contamination on t…
We present VLT/MUSE observations of NGC 2070, the dominant ionizing nebula of 30 Doradus in the LMC, plus HST/STIS spectroscopy of its central star cluster R136. Integral Field Spectroscopy (MUSE) and pseudo IFS (STIS) together provides a complete census of all massive stars within the central 30x30 parsec^2 of the Tarantula. We discuss the integrated far-UV spectrum of R136, of particular interest for UV studies of young extragalactic star clusters. Strong HeII 1640 emission at very early ages (1-2 Myr) from very massive stars cannot be reproduced by current population synthesis models, even …
The evolution of the most massive stars is a puzzle with many missing pieces. Statistical analyses are the key to provide anchors to calibrate theory, however performing these studies is an arduous job. The state-of-the-art integral field spectrograph MUSE has stirred up stellar astrophysicists who are excited about the capability to take spectra of up to a thousand stars in a single exposure. The excitement was even higher with the commissioning of the MUSE narrow-field-mode (NFM) that has demonstrated angular resolutions akin to the Hubble Space Telescope. We present the first mapping of the…
A prediction of the classic active galactic nuclei (AGN) unification model is the presence of ionisation cones with different orientations depending on the AGN type. Confirmations of this model exist for present times, but it is less clear in the early Universe. Here, we use the morphology of giant Ly$α$ nebulae around AGNs at redshift z$\sim$3 to probe AGN emission and therefore the validity of the AGN unification model at this redshift. We compare the spatial morphology of 19 nebulae previously found around type I AGNs with a new sample of 4 Ly$α$ nebulae detected around type II AGNs. Using …
We present a detailed analysis of the kinematics of the Galactic globular cluster NGC 6397 based on more than ~18,000 spectra obtained with the novel integral field spectrograph MUSE. While NGC 6397 is often considered a core collapse cluster, our analysis suggests a flattening of the surface brightness profile at the smallest radii. Although it is among the nearest globular clusters, the low velocity dispersion of NGC 6397 of <5km/s imposes heavy demands on the quality of the kinematical data. We show that despite its limited spectral resolution, MUSE reaches an accuracy of 1km/s in the analy…
NGC 1052-DF2, an ultra diffuse galaxy (UDG), has been the subject of intense debate. Its alleged absence of dark matter, and the brightness and number excess of its globular clusters (GCs) at an initially assumed distance of 20Mpc, suggested a new formation channel for UDGs. We present the first systematic spectroscopic analysis of both the stellar body and the GCs (six of which were previously known, and one newly confirmed member) of this galaxy using MUSE@VLT. Even though NGC 1052-DF2 does not show any spatially extended emission lines we report the discovery of three planetary nebulae (PNe…
Direct Ly $α$ imaging of intergalactic gas at $z\sim2$ has recently revealed giant cosmological structures around quasars, e.g. the Slug Nebula (Cantalupo et al. 2014). Despite their high luminosity, the detection rate of such systems in narrow-band and spectroscopic surveys is less than 10%, possibly encoding crucial information on the distribution of gas around quasars and the quasar emission properties. In this study, we use the MUSE integral-field instrument to perform a blind survey for giant Ly $α$ nebulae around 17 bright radio-quiet quasars at $3<z<4$ that does not suffer from most of …
ABRIDGED: 2D spectroscopic MUSE data for the whole extent of NGC3132 have been reduced and analised. The dust extinction, electron densities and temperatures of the ionised gas and abundances were determined. The nebula presents a complex reddening structure with high values (c(Hb)~0.4) at the rim. Density maps are compatible with an inner high-ionisation plasma at moderate high density (~1000cm^-3) while the low-ionisation plasma presents a structure in density peaking at the rim with values ~700 cm^-3. Median Te using different diagnostics decreases according to the sequence [NII],[SII]->[SI…
The well-known quasar SDSS J095253.83+011421.9 (J0952+0114) at z=3.02 has one of the most peculiar spectra discovered so far, showing the presence of narrow Ly$α$ and broad metal emission lines. Although recent studies have suggested that a Proximate Damped Ly$α$ system (PDLA) causes this peculiar spectrum, the origin of the gas associated with the PDLA is unknown. Here we report the results of MUSE observations that reveal a new giant ($\approx$ 100 physical kpc) Lyman $α$ nebula. The detailed analysis of the Ly$α$ velocity, velocity dispersion, and surface brightness profiles suggests that t…
We present a study of the galaxy environment of 9 strong HI+CIV absorption line systems ($16.2<{\rm log}(N({\rm HI}))<21.2$) spanning a wide range in metallicity at $z\sim4-5$, using MUSE integral field and X-Shooter spectroscopic data collected in a $z\approx 5.26$ quasar field. We identify galaxies within a 250 kpc and $\pm1000$ km s$^{-1}$ window for 6 out of the 9 absorption systems, with 2 of the absorption line systems showing multiple associated galaxies within the MUSE field of view. The space density of Ly$α$ emitting galaxies (LAEs) around the HI and CIV systems is $\approx10-20$ tim…
We present the spectroscopic analysis of 333 OB-type stars extracted from VLT-MUSE observations of the central 30 x 30 pc of NGC 2070 in the Tarantula Nebula on the Large Magellanic Cloud, the majority of which are analysed for the the first time. The distribution of stars in the spectroscopic Hertzsprung-Russell diagram (sHRD) shows 281 stars in the main sequence. We find two groups in the main sequence, with estimated ages of 2.1$\pm$0.8 and 6.2$\pm$2 Myr. A subgroup of 52 stars is apparently beyond the main sequence phase, which we consider to be due to emission-type objects and/or signific…
The [O III ] 5007 Planetary Nebula Luminosity Function (PNLF) is an established distance indicator that has been used for more than 30 years to measure the distances of galaxies out to ~15 Mpc. With the advent of the Multi-Unit Spectroscopic Explorer on the Very Large Telescope (MUSE) as an efficient wide-field integral field spectrograph, the PNLF method is due for a renaissance, as the spatial and spectral information contained in the instrument's datacubes provides many advantages over classical narrow-band imaging. Here we use archival MUSE data to explore the potential of a novel differen…
We present evidence for the presence of a low-amplitude kinematically distinct component in the giant early-type galaxy M87, via datasets obtained with the SAURON and MUSE integral-field spectroscopic units. The MUSE velocity field reveals a strong twist of ~140 deg within the central 30 arcsec connecting outwards such a kinematically distinct core to a prolate-like rotation around the large-scale photometric major-axis of the galaxy. The existence of these kinematic features within the apparently round central regions of M87 implies a non-axisymmetric and complex shape for this galaxy, which …
With a projected size of about 450 kpc at z~2.3, the Slug Ly-alpha nebula is a rare laboratory to study, in emission, the properties of the intergalactic gas in the Cosmic Web. Since its discovery, the Slug has been the subject of several spectroscopic follow-ups to constrain the properties of the emitting gas. Here we report the results of a deep MUSE integral-field spectroscopic search for non-resonant, extended HeII1640 and metal emission. Extended HeII radiation is detected on scales of about 100 kpc, but only in some regions associated with the bright Ly-alpha emission and a continuum-det…
We present MUSE deep integral-field unit spectroscopy of three planetary nebulae(PNe) with high abundance discrepancy factors (ADF > 20): NGC 6778, M 1-42 and Hf 2-2. We have constructed flux maps for more than 40 emission lines, and use them to build extinction, electron temperature (T$_e$), electron density (n$_e$), and ionic abundances maps of a number of ionic species. The effects of the contribution of recombination to the auroral [N II] and [O II] lines on T$_e$ and the abundance maps of low-ionization species are evaluated using recombination diagnostics. As a result, low T$_e$ values a…
Using the exquisite MUSE eXtremely Deep Field data, we report the discovery of an MgII emission nebula with an area above a 2$σ$ significance level of 1000 proper kpc$^2$, providing the first panoramic view of the spatial distribution of magnesium in the intragroup medium of a low mass group of five star-forming galaxies at z=1.31. The galaxy group members are separated by less than 50 physical kpc in projection and $\approx$120 km/s in velocity space. The most massive galaxy has a stellar mass of 10$^{9.35}$ M$_\odot$ and shows an MgII P-Cygni line profile indicating the presence of an outflo…
Directly characterising the first generations of stars in distant galaxies is a key quest of observational cosmology. We present a case study of ID53 at z=4.77, the UV-brightest (but L*) star-forming galaxy at z>3 in the MUSE eXtremely Deep Field with a mass of $10^9$ M$_{\odot}$. In addition to very strong Lyman-$α$ (Ly$α$) emission, we clearly detect the (stellar) continuum and an NV P-Cygni feature, interstellar absorption, fine-structure emission and nebular CIV emission lines in the 140 hr spectrum. Continuum emission from two spatially resolved components in Hubble Space Telescope data a…
High-performance instruments at large ground-based telescopes have made integral field spectroscopy (IFS) a powerful tool for the study of extended objects such as galaxies, nebulae, or even larger survey fields on the sky. Here we discuss the capabilities of IFS for the study of resolved stellar populations, using the new method of PSF-fitting crowded field IFS, analogous to the well-established technique of crowded field photometry with image sensors. We review early pioneering work with first generation integral field spectrographs, the breakthrough achieved with the MUSE instrument at the …
The physical origin of the near-ultraviolet MgII emission remains an under-explored domain, contrary to more typical emission lines detected in the spectra of star-forming galaxies. We explore the nebular and physical properties for a sample of 381 galaxies between 0.70 < z < 2.34 drawn from the MUSE Hubble Ultra Deep Survey. The spectra of these galaxies show a wide variety of profiles of the MgII 2796,2803 resonant doublet, from absorption to emission. We present a study on the main drivers for the detection of MgII emission in galaxy spectra. By exploiting photoionization models we verified…
This is the first of a series of papers presenting the results from our survey of 25 Galactic globular clusters with the MUSE integral-field spectrograph. In combination with our dedicated algorithm for source deblending, MUSE provides unique multiplex capabilities in crowded stellar fields and allows us to acquire samples of up to 20 000 stars within the half-light radius of each cluster. The present paper focuses on the analysis of the internal dynamics of 22 out of the 25 clusters, using about 500 000 spectra of 200 000 individual stars. Thanks to the large stellar samples per cluster, we a…
During the last years, Ly$α$ nebulae have been routinely detected around high-z, radio-quiet quasars (RQQs) thanks to the advent of sensitive integral field spectrographs. Constraining the physical properties of the Ly$α$ nebulae is crucial for a full understanding of the circum-galactic medium (CGM), which is a venue of feeding and feedback processes. The most luminous quasars are privileged test-beds to study these processes, given their large ionizing fluxes and dense CGM environments in which they are expected to be embedded. We aim at characterizing the rest-frame UV emission lines in the…

We report on the discovery of ionised gas filaments in the circum-galactic halo of the extremely metal-poor compact starburst SBS 0335-052E in a 1.5h integration with the MUSE integral-field spectrograph. We detect these features in H$α$ and [OIII] emission down to surface-brightness levels of $5 \times 10^{-19}$erg s$^{-1}$cm$^{-2}$arcsec$^{-2}$. The filaments have projected diameters of 2.1 kpc and extend more than 9 kpc to the north and north-west from the main stellar body. We also detect extended nebular HeII $λ$4686 emission that brightens towards the north-west at the rim of a star-burs…
We present the results from a MUSE survey of twelve $z\simeq3.15$ quasars, which were selected to be much fainter (20<i<23) than in previous studies of Giant Ly$α$ Nebulae around the brightest quasars (16.6<i<18.7). We detect HI Ly$α$ nebulae around 100% of our target quasars, with emission extending to scales of at least 60 physical kpc, and up to 190 pkpc. We explore correlations between properties of the nebulae and their host quasars, with the goal of connecting variations in the properties of the illuminating QSO to the response in nebular emission. We show that the surface brightness pro…
Studying the internal processes of individual galaxies at kilo-parsec scales is crucial in enhancing our understanding of galaxy formation and evolution processes. In this work, we investigate the distribution of star formation rate (SFR), specific SFR (sSFR), and dust attenuation across individual galaxies for a sample of 32 galaxies selected from the MUSE-Wide Survey at 0.1 $< \textit{z} <$ 0.42 with a dynamic range in stellar masses between $10^{7.7}$ and $10^{10.3}$ M$_{\odot}$. We take advantage of the high spatial resolution of the MUSE integral-field spectrograph and measure reliable sp…
Integral field spectroscopy (IFS) provides a unique capability to spectroscopically study extended sources over a 2D field of view, but it also requires new techniques and tools. In this paper, we present an automatic code, Spectroscopic Analysis Tool for intEgraL fieLd unIt daTacubEs, SATELLITE, designed to fully explore such capability in the characterization of extended objects, such as planetary nebulae, H II regions, galaxies, etc. SATELLITE carries out 1D and 2D spectroscopic analysis through a number of pseudo-slits that simulate slit spectrometry, as well as emission line imaging. The …
(Abridged) We describe a new method to extract spectra of stars from observations of crowded stellar fields with integral field spectroscopy (IFS). Our approach extends the well-established concept of crowded field photometry in images into the domain of 3-dimensional spectroscopic datacubes. The main features of our algorithm are: (1) We assume that a high-fidelity input source catalogue already exists and that it is not needed to perform sophisticated source detection in the IFS data. (2) Source positions and properties of the point spread function (PSF) vary smoothly between spectral layers…
The so-called ultra-diffuse galaxy NGC~1052-DF2 was announced to be a galaxy lacking dark matter based on a spectroscopic study of its constituent globular clusters. Here we present the first spectroscopic analysis of the stellar body of this galaxy using the MUSE integral-field spectrograph at the (ESO) Very Large Telescope. The MUSE datacube simultaneously provides DF2's stellar velocity field and systemic velocities for seven globular clusters (GCs). We further discovered three planetary nebulae (PNe) that are likely part of this galaxy. While five of the clusters had velocities measured in…
