Rev. D 104, no.1, 016021 (2021)]的启发,我们重新审视了$D$介子twist-2, 3 DAs $ϕ_{2;D}(x,μ)$、$ϕ_{3;D}^p(x,μ)$和$ϕ_{3;D}^σ(x,μ)$。提出了这三种DAs的$ξ$-矩的新求和规则公式,以获得更准确的值。改进了这些DAs的光锥谐振子模型,并通过用最小二乘法拟合$ξ$-矩的值确定了其模型参数。
英文摘要:
Due to the significant difference between the experimental measurements and the theoretical predictions of standard model (SM) for the value of $\mathcal{R}(D)$ of the semileptonic decay $B\to D\ell\barν_{\ell}$, people speculate that it may be the evidence of new physics beyond the SM. Usually, the $D$-meson twist-2, 3 distribution amplitudes (DAs) $ϕ_{2;D}(x,μ)$, $ϕ_{3;D}^p(x,μ)$ and $ϕ_{3;D}^σ(x,μ)$ are the main error sources when using perturbative QCD factorization and light-cone QCD sum rules to study $B\to D\ell\barν_{\ell}$. Therefore, it is important to get more reasonable and accurate behaviors for those DAs. Motivated by our previous work [Phys. Rev. D 104, no.1, 016021 (2021)] on pionic leading-twist DA, we revisit $D$-meson twist-2, 3 DAs $ϕ_{2;D}(x,μ)$, $ϕ_{3;D}^p(x,μ)$ and $ϕ_{3;D}^σ(x,μ)$. New sum rules formulae for the $ξ$-moments of these three DAs are suggested to obtain more accurate values. The light-cone harmonic oscillator models for those DAs are improved, and whose model parameters are determined by fitting the values of $ξ$-moments with the least squares method.
Based on the mass relations from the Regge phenomenology, we revisit the mass spectrum of $1^{3}D_{1}$ meson nonet. The masses of kaon and $s\bar{s}$ member of $1^{3}D_{1}$ ($1^{3}D_{1}(s\bar{s})$) meson nonet are obtained and the results are compared with the values from different theoretical models. Moreover, the strong decay properties of the kaon and $1^{3}D_{1}(s\bar{s})$ are presented in the $^{3}P_{0}$ model. On the basis of results, we suggest the assignment of $1^{3}D_{1}$ meson nonet need further tested in the new experiment in the future. Our results also provide mass constraints fo…
This work is devoted to the discussion and characterization of the tensor $2^{-(-)}$ meson spectrum, by making use of the Coulomb gauge Hamiltonian approach to QCD, with the interactions being given by an improved confining potential and a transverse hyperfine interaction, whose kernel is a Yukawa-type potential. Our aim is to study the basic features of $2^{-(-)}$ mesons within an unified framework through the whole range of quark masses. We concentrate our investigation on predictions of expected but yet-unobserved ground states of unflavored light mesons and on charmonium and bottomonium st…
We study lifetimes of heavy mesons in the 't Hooft model, a large-$N_c$ theory of strong interaction in two-dimensional spacetime. Since this model is solvable, one can evaluate the total decay widths through hadronic amplitudes that are determined unambiguously within the formalism. We investigate quark-hadron duality by numerically comparing the exclusive result and one from the heavy quark expansion, with the contribution of Pauli interference being consistently incorporated. Within certain numerical accuracy, we find that the maximal difference between inclusive and exclusive rates for $τ[…
Determining for the first time the Darwin operator contribution for the non-leptonic charm-quark decays and using new non-perturbative results for the matrix elements of $ΔC=0$ four-quark operators, including eye-contractions, we present a comprehensive study of the lifetimes of charmed mesons and inclusive semileptonic decay rates as well as the ratios, within the framework of the Heavy Quark Expansion (HQE). We find good agreement with experiment for the ratio $τ(D^+)/τ(D^0)$, for the total $D_s^+$-meson decay rate, for the semileptonic rates of all three mesons $D^0$, $D^+$ and $D_s^+$, and…
Motivated by the large rates of $B\rightarrow (χ_{c0}, χ_{c2}, h_c)K$ decays observed by the $BABAR$ and Belle collaborations, we investigate the nonfactorizable contributions to these factorization-forbidden decays, which can occur through a gluon exchange between the $c\bar c$ system and the spectator quark. Our numerical results demonstrate that the spectator contributions are capable of producing a large branching ratio consistent with the experiments. As a by-product, we also study the Cabibbo-suppressed decays, such as $B\rightarrow (χ_{c0}, χ_{c2}, h_c)π$ and the U-spin-related $B_s$ de…
We introduce a novel realization of the open heavy-flavour hadroproduction in general-mass variable flavour number scheme at next-to-leading order in perturbative QCD. The principal novelty with respect to the earlier works is in the treatment of small-transverse-momentum limit, which has been a particularly challenging kinematic region in the past. We show that by a suitable choice of scheme, it is possible to obtain a well-behaved description of the open heavy-flavour hadroproduction cross sections from zero up to asymptotically high transverse momentum. We contrast our calculation with the …
The Gell-Mann$-$Okubo (GMO) mass relations following from $\text{SU}(3)$-flavor symmetry breaking in the strong sector have been proven to be of great success for describing hadron masses and classifying them into multiplets. Nowadays, it is widely believed that baryons being fermions have to obey GMO relations which are linear in the baryon masses, whilst mesons as bosons follow quadratic GMO relations. In this work, I challenge the distinction of GMO relations for baryons and mesons and conclude that both linear and quadratic GMO relations apply to both baryons and mesons in most instances (…
The axial anomaly is responsible for the masses and mixing of the mesons $η$ and $η'$. An open question is if (and to what extent) it affects also other hadrons. We show that anomalous terms can be important to understand the spectroscopy of the pseudotensor mesons $η_2 (1645)$ and $η_2 (1870)$. In fact, pseudotensor mesons belong to a so-called heterochiral multiplet, for which a quadratic mixing term between nonstrange and strange isoscalar members arises. On the contrary, for so-called homochiral multiplets, such as the ground-state (axial-)vector and tensor mesons, this mixing is not possi…
QCD theory predicts the existence of glueballs, but so far all experimental endeavors have failed to identify any such states. To remedy this discrepancy between QCD, which has proven to be a successful theory for strong interactions, and the failure of experimental searches for glueballs, one is tempted to accept the promising interpretation that the glueballs mix with regular $q\bar q$ states of the same quantum numbers. The lattice estimate of the masses of pure $0^{++}$ glueballs ranges from 1 to 2 GeV, which is the region of the $f_0$ family. Thus many authors suggest that the $f_0$ meson…
We revisit the calculation of multiple parton scattering of a heavy quark in nuclei within the framework of recently improved high-twist factorization formalism, in which gauge invariance is ensured by a delicate setup of the initial partons' transverse momenta. We derive a new result for medium modified heavy quark fragmentation functions in deeply inelastic scattering. It is consistent with the previous calculation of light quark energy loss in the massless limit, but leads to a new correction term in the heavy quark case, which vanishes in the soft gluon radiation limit. We show numerically…
Using collinear factorization, we have calculated twist-six corrections to $ηγ$ and $η^{\prime}γ$ transition form factors in QCD. Only a sub-set of light-cone operators of twist-six which can be factorized as a product of two gauge invariant operators has been considered. Resulting power corrections start as $1/Q^{4}$ but coefficients are smaller compared to their counterparts for twist-four operators. Matrix element of pseudoscalar quark densities for $u$- and $d$-quarks between vacuum and meson state, $h_{q}$, has considerable influence on the result. Results obtained by superimposing our re…
