For conformally invariant gravity theories defined on Riemannian spacetime and having the Schwarzschild--de-Sitter (SdS) metric as a solution in the Einstein gauge, we consider whether one may conformally rescale this solution to obtain flat rotation curves, such as those observed in galaxies, without the need for dark matter. Contrary to recent claims in the literature, we show that if one works in terms of quantities that can be physically measured, then in any conformal frame the trajectories followed by `ordinary' matter particles are merely the timelike geodesics of the SdS metric, as one might expect. This resolves the apparent frame dependence of physical predictions and unambiguously yields rotation curves with no flat region. We also show that attempts to model rising rotation curves by fitting the coefficient of the quadratic term in the SdS metric individually for each galaxy are precluded, since this coefficient is most naturally interpreted as proportional to a global cosmological constant. We further extend our analysis beyond static, spherically-symmetric systems to show that the invariance of particle dynamics to the choice of conformal frame holds for arbitrary metrics, again as expected. Moreover, we show that this conclusion remains valid for conformally invariant gravity theories defined on more general Weyl--Cartan spacetimes, which include Weyl, Riemann--Cartan and Riemannian spacetimes as special cases.
We study various derivations of Hawking radiation in conformally rescaled metrics. We focus on two important properties, the location of the horizon under a conformal transformation and its associated temperature. We find that the production of Hawking radiation cannot be associated in all cases to the trapping horizon because its location is not invariant under a conformal transformation. We also find evidence that the temperature of the Hawking radiation should transform simply under a conformal transformation, being invariant for asymptotic observers in the limit that the conformal transfor…
In Paper II [N. G. Phillips and B. L. Hu, previous abstract] we presented the details for the regularization of the noise kernel of a quantum scalar field in optical spacetimes by the modified point separation scheme, and a Gaussian approximation for the Green function. We worked out the regularized noise kernel for two examples: hot flat space and optical Schwarzschild metric. In this paper we consider noise kernels for a scalar field in the Schwarzschild black hole. Much of the work in the point separation approach is to determine how the divergent piece conformally transforms. For the Schwa…
Initial data for black hole collisions are commonly generated using the Bowen-York approach based on conformally flat 3-geometries. The standard (constant Boyer-Lindquist time) spatial slices of the Kerr spacetime are not conformally flat, so that use of the Bowen-York approach is limited in dealing with rotating holes. We investigate here whether there exist foliations of the Kerr spacetime that are conformally flat. We limit our considerations to foliations that are axisymmetric and that smoothly reduce in the Schwarzschild limit to slices of constant Schwarzschild time. With these restricti…
It is known that the standard Schwarzschild interior metric is conformally flat and generates a constant density sphere in any spacetime dimension in Einstein and Einstein--Gauss--Bonnet gravity. This motivates the questions: In EGB does the conformal flatness criterion yield the Schwarzschild metric? Does the assumption of constant density generate the Schwarzschild interior spacetime? The answer to both questions turn out in the negative in general. In the case of the constant density sphere, a generalised Schwarzschild metric emerges. When we invoke the conformal flatness condition the Schw…
It has recently been demonstrated (Class. Quantum Grav. 31, 085010, 2014) that the conformally invariant wave equation on a Minkowski background can be solved with a fully pseudospectral numerical method. In particular, it is possible to include spacelike infinity into the numerical domain, which is appropriately represented as a cylinder, and highly accurate numerical solutions can be obtained with a moderate number of gridpoints. In this paper, we generalise these considerations to the spherically-symmetric wave equation on a Schwarzschild background. In the Minkowski case, a logarithmic sin…
The conformally flat families of initial data typically used in numerical relativity to represent boosted black holes are not those of a boosted slice of the Schwarzschild spacetime. If such data are used for each black hole in a collision, the emitted radiation will be partially due to the ``relaxation'' of the individual holes to ``boosted Schwarzschild'' form. We attempt to compute this radiation by treating the geometry for a single boosted conformally flat hole as a perturbation of a Schwarzschild black hole, which requires the use of second order perturbation theory. In this we attempt t…
We resume former discussions of the conformally invariant wave equation on a Schwarzschild background, with a particular focus on the behaviour of solutions near the 'cylinder', i.e. Friedrich's representation of spacelike infinity. This analysis can be considered a toy model for the behaviour of the full Einstein equations and the resulting logarithmic singularities that appear to be characteristic for massive spacetimes. The investigation of the Cauchy problem for the conformally invariant wave equation (Frauendiener and Hennig 2018, Class. Quantum Grav. 35, 065015) showed that solutions gen…
We show that the Penrose inequality is satisfied for a class of conformally flat axially symmetric nonmaximal perturbations of the Schwarzschild data. A role of horizon is played by a marginally outer trapped surface which does not have to be minimal.
We show that in the conformally flat case the Penrose inequality is satisfied for the Schwarzschild initial data with a small addition of the axially symmetric traceless exterior curvature. In this class the inequality is saturated only for data related to special sections of the Schwarzschild spacetime.
Given a time symmetric initial data set for the vacuum Einstein field equations which is conformally flat near infinity, it is shown that the solutions to the regular finite initial value problem at spatial infinity extend smoothly through the critical sets where null infinity touches spatial infinity if and only if the initial data coincides with Schwarzschild data near infinity.
The renormalized expectation value of the stress energy tensor of the conformally invariant massless fields in the Unruh state in the Schwarzschild spacetime is constructed. It is achieved through solving the conservation equation in conformal space and utilizing the regularity conditions in the physical metric. The relations of obtained results to the existing approximations are analysed.
This is the first of a series of papers describing a numerical implementation of the conformally rescaled Einstein equation, an implementation designed to calculate asymptotically flat spacetimes, especially spacetimes containing black holes. In the present paper we derive the new first order time evolution equations to be used in the scheme. These time evolution equations can either be written in symmetric hyperbolic or in flux-conservative form. Since the conformally rescaled Einstein equation, also called the conformal field equations, formally allow us to place the grid boundaries outside …
Among the coordinates used to construct a conformal compactification of the Schwarzschild spacetime, none of them simultaneously extend smoothly both through an event horizon and beyond null infinity. To construct such coordinates, instead of starting with the Kruskal-Szekeres coordinates we assume direct analytic transformation between Schwarzschild and compactified coordinates and determine their behavior on the event horizon and at null infinity. We then propose an example of such coordinates and illustrate the way they cover the conformally extended Schwarzschild spacetime as well as their …
We find necessary and sufficient conditions for existence of a locally isometric embedding of a vacuum space-time into a conformally-flat 5-space. We explicitly construct such embeddings for any spherically symmetric Lorentzian metric in $3+1$ dimensions as a hypersurface in $R^{4, 1}$. For the Schwarzschild metric the embedding is global, and extends through the horizon all the way to the $r=0$ singularity. We discuss the asymptotic properties of the embedding in the context of Penrose's theorem on Schwarzschild causality. We finally show that the Hawking temperature of the Schwarzschild metr…
The approximate stress-energy tensor of the conformally invariant massless spin-1/2 field in the Hartle-Hawking state in the Schwarzschild spacetime is constructed. It is shown that by solving the conservation equation in conformal space and utilizing the regularity conditions in a physical metric one obtains the stress-energy tensor that is in a good agreement with the numerical calculations. The back reaction of the quantized field upon the spacetime metric is briefly discussed.
For mathematical convenience initial data sets in numerical relativity are often taken to be conformally flat. Employing the dual-foliation formalism, we investigate the physical consequences of this assumption. Working within a large class of asymptotically flat spacetimes we show that the ADM linear momentum is governed by the leading Lorentz part of a boost even in the presence of supertranslation-like terms. Following up, we find that in spacetimes that are asymptotically flat, and admit spatial slices with vanishing linear momentum that are sufficiently close to conformal flatness, any bo…
We thoroughly investigate conformally Schwarzschild spacetimes in different coordinate systems to seek for physically reasonable models of a cosmological black hole. We assume that a conformal factor depends only on the time coordinate and that the spacetime is asymptotically flat Friedmann-Lema\^ıtre-Robertson-Walker universe filled by a perfect fluid obeying a linear equation state $p=wρ$ with $w>-1/3$. In this class of spacetimes, the McClure-Dyer spacetime, constructed in terms of the isotropic coordinates, and the Thakurta spacetime, constructed in terms of the standard Schwarzschild coor…
We demonstrate separability of conformally coupled scalar field equation in general (off-shell) Kerr-NUT-AdS spacetimes in all dimensions. The separability is intrinsically characterized by the existence of a complete set of mutually commuting conformal wave operators that can be constructed from a hidden symmetry of the principal Killing-Yano tensor. By token of conformal symmetry, the separability also works for any Weyl rescaled (off-shell) metrics. This is especially interesting in four dimensions where it guarantees separability of a conformally coupled scalar field in the general Plebans…
All spherically symmetric Riemannian metrics of constant scalar curvature in any dimension can be written down in a simple form using areal coordinates. All spherical metrics are conformally flat, so we search for the conformally flat representations of these geometries. We find all solutions for the conformal factor in 3, 4 and 6 dimensions. We write them in closed form, either in terms of elliptic or elementary functions. We are particularly interested in 3-dimensional spaces because of the link to General Relativity. In particular, all 3-dimensional constant negative scalar curvature spheri…
A one-parameter family of time-symmetric initial data for the radial infall of a particle into a Schwarzschild black hole is constructed within the framework of black-hole perturbation theory. The parameter measures the amount of gravitational radiation present on the initial spacelike surface. These initial data sets are then evolved by integrating the Zerilli-Moncrief wave equation in the presence of the particle. Numerical results for the gravitational waveforms and their power spectra are presented; we show that the choice of initial data strongly influences the waveforms, both in their sh…
We compute exact expressions of the noise kernel, defined as the expectation value of the symmetrized connected stress energy bitensor, for conformally-invariant scalar fields with respect to the conformal vacuum, valid for an arbitrary separation (timelike, spacelike and null) of points in a class of conformally-flat spacetimes. We derive explicit expressions for the noise kernel evaluated in the static de Sitter coordinates with respect to the Gibbons-Hawking vacuum and analyze the behavior of the noise kernel in the region near the cosmological horizon. We develop a quasi-local expansion ne…
The renormalized expectation value of the stress-energy tensor of the conformally invariant massless field in the Israel-Hartle-Hawking state in the Schwarzschild spacetime is constructed. It is achieved through solving the conservation equation in conformal space and utilizing the regularity conditions in the physical metric. Specifically, the relation of the results of the present approach to the stress tensor constructed within the framework of the Hadamard renormalization is analysed. Finally, the semi-analytic models reconstructing the tangential component of the stress-energy tensor with…
This is the third paper in a series describing a numerical implementation of the conformal Einstein equation. This paper describes a scheme to calculate (three) dimensional data for the conformal field equations from a set of free functions. The actual implementation depends on the topology of the spacetime. We discuss the implementation and exemplary calculations for data leading to spacetimes with one spherical null infinity (asymptotically Minkowski) and for data leading to spacetimes with two toroidal null infinities (asymptotically A3). We also outline the (technical) modifications of the…
We extend earlier numerical and analytical considerations of the conformally invariant wave equation on a Schwarzschild background from the case of spherically symmetric solutions, discussed in Class. Quantum Grav. 34, 045005 (2017), to the case of general, nonsymmetric solutions. A key element of our approach is the modern standard representation of spacelike infinity as a cylinder. With a decomposition into spherical harmonics, we reduce the four-dimensional wave equation to a family of two-dimensional equations. These equations can be used to study the behaviour at the cylinder, where the s…
We present the vacuum polarisation of a massless, conformally coupled scalar field on the brane for a Schwarzschild-Tangherlini black hole in a bulk of zero to seven additional dimensions.
In Ref. [1], exact (not only conformally related) analogue models for the Schwarzschild and Reissner-Nordström spacetimes were found. The background non-relativistic fluid flow was sustained by an external body force which is not affected by the linearised fluctuations. Following a different route, by modelling the external force as the gradient of an external pressure, it was shown in~\cite{bilic} that the speed of sound is significantly modified. This effective speed of sound turns out to be inconsistent with the continuity equation. In this comment we analyse these two contradictory conclus…
We study the peeling for the wave equation on the Vaidya spacetime following the approach developed by Mason and Nicolas in Mason-Nicolas 2009. The idea is to encode the regularity at null infinity of the rescaled field, characterised by Sobolev-type norms, in terms of corresponding function spaces of initial data. All function spaces are obtained from energy fluxes associated with an observer constructed from the Morawetz vector field on Minkowski spacetime. We combine conformal techniques and energy estimates to obtain the optimal classes of initial data ensuring a given regularity of the re…
The special conformal transformation (composed by inversion - translation - inversion) is used to generate a time dependent conformally flat spacetime. In order to be an exact solution of Einstein's equations, we need as a source a stress tensor corresponding to an anisotropic fluid with negative regular energy density and positive pressures. For the static approximation, the generators of the infinitesimal transformation resemble those recently obtained by Majhi and Padmanabhan for the coordinate transformation leading to the "near horizon" Schwarzschild metric in Kruskal coordinates. The sta…
In Einstein's theory of general relativity the vacuum solution yields a blackhole with a curvature singularity, where there exists a point-like source with a Dirac delta distribution which is introduced as a boundary condition in the static case. It has been known for a while that ghost-free infinite derivative theory of gravity can ameliorate such a singularity at least at the level of linear perturbation around the Minkowski background. In this paper, we will show that the Schwarzschild metric does not satisfy the boundary condition at the origin within infinite derivative theory of gravity,…
We discuss expansions for the Cotton-York tensor near infinity for arbitrary slices of stationary spacetimes. From these expansions it follows directly that a necessary condition for the existence of conformally flat slices in stationary solutions is the vanishing of a certain quantity of quadrupolar nature (obstruction). The obstruction is nonzero for the Kerr solution. Thus, the Kerr metric admits no conformally flat slices. An analysis of higher orders in the expansions of the Cotton-York tensor for solutions such that the obstruction vanishes suggests that the only stationary solution admi…
String dynamics near the photon sphere in Schwarzschild spacetime is considered on the basis of a perturbative approach with respect to a rescaled string tension as a small parameter. The perturbative string solution in the zeroth and first approximation is presented. The perturbative solution corresponds to a small deformations of the photon sphere in Schwarzschild spacetime.
We obtain a purely local characterisation that singles out the Majumdar-Papapetrou class, the near-horizon Bertotti-Robinson geometry and the Reissner-Nordström exterior solution, together with its plane and hyperbolic counterparts, among the static electrovacuum spacetimes. These five classes are found to form the whole set of static Einstein-Maxwell fields without sources and conformally flat space of orbits, this is, the conformastat electrovacuum spacetimes. The main part of the proof consists in showing that a functional relationship between the gravitational and electromagnetic potential…
In this paper we define the radiation field for the wave equation on the Schwarzschild black hole spacetime. In this context it has two components: the rescaled restriction of the time derivative of a solution to null infinity and to the event horizon. In the process, we establish some regularity properties of solutions of the wave equation on the spacetime. In particular, we prove that the regularity of the solution across the event horizon and across null infinity is determined by the regularity and decay rate of the initial data at the event horizon and at infinity. We also show that the ra…
(Abridged) By asymptotically matching a post-Newtonian (PN) metric to two tidally perturbed Schwarzschild metrics, we generate approximate initial data (in the form of a 4-metric) for a nonspinning black hole binary in a circular orbit. We carry out this matching through O(v^4) in the binary's orbital velocity v, so the resulting data are conformally curved. Far from the holes, we use the appropriate PN metric that accounts for retardation, which we construct using the highest-order PN expressions available to compute the binary's past history. The data set's uncontrolled remainders are thus O…
We give the necessary and sufficient (local) conditions for a metric tensor to be a non conformally flat spherically symmetric solution. These conditions exclusively involve explicit concomitants of the Riemann tensor. As a direct application we obtain the {\em ideal} labeling of the Schwarzschild, Reissner-Nordström and Lemaître-Tolman-Bondi solutions.
We examine the possibility of static wormhole solutions in the vacuum Brans-Dicke theory both in the original (Jordan) frame and in the conformally rescaled (Einstein) frame. It turns out that, in the former frame, wormholes exist only in a very narrow interval of the coupling parameter, viz., -3/2<omega<-4/3. It is shown that these wormholes are not traversable in practice. In the latter frame, wormhole solutions do not exist at all unless energy conditions are violated by hand.
A method is given to compute an approximation to the noise kernel, defined as the symmetrized connected 2-point function of the stress tensor, for the conformally invariant scalar field in any spacetime conformal to an ultra-static spacetime for the case in which the field is in a thermal state at an arbitrary temperature. The most useful applications of the method are flat space where the approximation is exact and Schwarzschild spacetime where the approximation is better than it is in most other spacetimes. The two points are assumed to be separated in a timelike or spacelike direction. The …
A system of equations that serves as a model for the Einstein field equation in generalised harmonic gauge called the good-bad-ugly system is studied in the region close to null and spatial infinity in Minkowski spacetime. This analysis is performed using H. Friedrich's cylinder construction at spatial infinity and defining suitable conformally rescaled fields. The results are translated to the physical set up to investigate the relation between the polyhomogeneous expansions arising from the analysis of linear fields using the $i^0$-cylinder framework and those obtained through a heuristic me…
The behaviour of the Maxwell field near one of the spatial infinities of the Schwarzschild solution is analysed by means of the transport equations implied by the Maxwell equations on the cylinder at spatial infinity. Initial data for the Maxwell equations will be assumed to be expandable in terms of powers of a coordinate $ρ$ measuring the geodesic distance to spatial infinity (in the conformal picture) and such that the highest possible spherical harmonics at order $p$ are $2^p$-polar ones. It is shown that if the $2^p$-polar harmonics at order $p$ in the initial data satisfy a certain regul…
The Conformal Einstein equations and the representation of spatial infinity as a cylinder introduced by Friedrich are used to analyse the behaviour of the gravitational field near null and spatial infinity for the development of data which are asymptotically Euclidean, conformally flat and time asymmetric. Our analysis allows for initial data whose second fundamental form is more general than the one given by the standard Bowen-York Ansatz. The Conformal Einstein equations imply upon evaluation on the cylinder at spatial infinity a hierarchy of transport equations which can be used to calculat…
A new spherically-symmetric solution for a gravitational field is found in the conformally-unimodular metric. It is shown, that the surface of the black hole horizon in the standard Schwarzschild metric can be squeezed to a point by converting coordinates to the conformally-unimodular metric. In this new metric, there is no black hole horizon, while the naked singularity corresponds to a point massive particle. The reason for the study of this particular gauge (i.e., conformally-unimodular metric) is its relation to the vacuum energy problem. That aims to relate it to other physical phenomena …
We study and look for similarities between the response rates $R^{\rm dS}(a_0, Λ)$ and $R^{\rm SdS}(a_0, Λ, M)$ of a static scalar source with constant proper acceleration $a_0$ interacting with a massless, conformally coupled Klein-Gordon field in (i) deSitter spacetime, in the Euclidean vacuum, which describes a thermal flux of radiation emanating from the deSitter cosmological horizon, and in (ii) Schwarzschild-deSitter spacetime, in the Gibbons-Hawking vacuum, which describes thermal fluxes of radiation emanating from both the hole and the cosmological horizons, respectively, where $Λ$ is …
Building on a pair of earlier papers, I investigate the various point-wise and averaged energy conditions for the quantum stress-energy tensor corresponding to a conformally-coupled massless scalar field in the in the (1+1)-dimensional Schwarzschild spacetime. Because the stress-energy tensors are analytically known, I can get exact results for the Hartle--Hawking, Boulware, and Unruh vacua. This exactly solvable model serves as a useful sanity check on my (3+1)-dimensional investigations wherein I had to resort to a mixture of analytic approximations and numerical techniques. Key results in (…
This article uses the conformal Einstein equations and the conformal representation of spatial infinity introduced by Friedrich to analyse the behaviour of the gravitational field near null and spatial infinity for the development of initial data which are, in principle, non-conformally flat and time asymmetric. This article is the continuation of the investigation started in Class. Quantum Grav. 21 (2004) 5457-5492, where only conformally flat initial data sets were considered. For the purposes of this investigation, the conformal metric of the initial hypersurface is assumed to have a very p…
We present a simple argument to explain why the field equations of the Friedmann-Robertson-Walker metric are equivalent to those of Newtonian cosmology. By passing to the infinite limit of a family of conformally rescaled FRW metrics in suitable coordinates, we reveal Newtonian space and time. The limiting process preserves the Einstein equations and these may be elucidated directly from the Newtonian limit up to the determination of the scalar curvature parameter. Consideration of the conformally invariant scalar field equation on the FRW spacetime is used to recover the Einstein equations ef…
We complete the intrinsic characterization of spherically symmetric solutions partially accomplished in a previous paper [Class.Quant.Grav. (2010) 27 205024]. In this approach we consider every compatible algebraic type of the Ricci tensor, and we analyze specifically the conformally flat case for perfect fluid and Einstein-Maxwell solutions. As a direct application we obtain the {\em ideal} labeling (exclusively involving explicit concomitants of the metric tensor) of the Schwarzschild interior metric and the Vaidya solution. The Stephani universes and some significative subfamilies are also …
Weyl's conformal theory of gravity is an extension of Einstein's theory of general relativity which associates metrics with 1-forms . In the case of locally integrable (closed non-exact) 1-forms the spacetime manifolds are no more simply connected. The Weil connections yield curvature tensors which satisfy the basic properties of Riemann curvature tensors. The Ricci tensors are symmetric, conformally invariant, and the Einstein tensors computed with the Weyl connections implicate a cosmological term replacing the cosmological constant by a function of spacetime, and a shear stress tensor. A to…
Attempts to find black hole microstates using the Hamiltonian phase space approach have been made on the Schwarzschild spacetime. Since the Schwarzschild spacetime is also in the larger family of the Kerr spacetimes, and both are asymptotically flat, the Kerr black hole is a good option for the method development. The Kerr black hole is a spinning one. We perform this analysis on the Kerr spacetime and we obtain promising results using the covariant phase space analysis. Although we have forced ourselves to use the Bondi fall-off conditions, we find the gauge degrees of freedom that could be g…
The classical action of quantum gravity, determined by renormalization, contains infinitely many independent couplings and can be expressed in different perturbatively equivalent ways. We organize it in a convenient form, which is based on invariants constructed with the Weyl tensor. We show that the FLRW metrics are exact solutions of the field equations in arbitrary dimensions, and so are all locally conformally flat solutions of the Einstein equations. Moreover, expanding the metric tensor around locally conformally flat backgrounds the quadratic part of the action is free of higher derivat…
We consider four dimensional stationary and axially symmetric spacetimes for conformally coupled scalar-tensor theories. We show that, in analogy to the Lewis-Papapetrou problem in General Relativity (GR), the theory at hand can be recast in an analogous integrable form. We give the relevant rod formalism, introduced by Weyl for vacuum GR, explicitly giving the rod structure of the black hole of Bocharova et al. and Bekenstein (BBMB), in complete analogy to the Schwarzschild solution. The additional scalar field is shown to play the role of an extra Weyl potential. We then employ the Ernst met…
We explicitly prove that a class of finite quantum gravitational theories (in odd as well as in even dimension) is actually a range of anomaly-free conformally invariant theories in the spontaneously broken phase of the conformal Weyl symmetry. At classical level we show how the Weyl conformal invariance is likely able to tame the spacetime singularities that plague not only Einstein gravity, but also local and weakly non-local higher derivative theories. This latter statement is rigorously proved by a singularity theorem that applies to a large class of weakly non-local theories. Following th…
A particular form of the C-metric is investigated, giving it a non-standard interpretation and removing any singularity at $r = 0$. In the weak field limit of the accelerating black hole, the proper acceleration $A$ of a static observer is constant and the geometry becomes conformally-flat (anti de Sitter). The stress tensor is of $Λ$-type ($Λ= -3a^{2}/8πG$) and its energy density is negative. We propose that $Λ$ is responsible of inertial forces that appear in uniformly accelerated systems (far from the accelerating source $m$ and for $r << 1/a$ the dominant term in the expression of $a^{r}$ …
The existence of trace anomalies for conformally coupled quantum fields in curved spacetimes, despite the vanishing of the trace of the conformally invariant classical stress-energy tensor, was firmly established in the 1970's, and expressions for the anomalous trace of the semi-classical quantum stress-energy tensor constructed from the curvature tensors of the background spacetime were proven to hold independent of the quantum state of the field. Subsequently, effective actions were devised whose variation with respect to the metric gives a conserved "anomalous stress-energy tensor" or ASET.…
It is well-known that the $(1+1)$ dimensional Schwarzschild and spatially flat FLRW spacetimes are conformally flat. This work examines entanglement harvesting from the conformal field vacuums in these spacetimes between two Unruh-DeWitt detectors, moving along outgoing null trajectories. In $(1+1)$ dimensional Schwarzschild spacetime, we considered the Boulware and Unruh vacuums for our investigations. In this analysis, one observes that while entanglement harvesting is possible in $(1+1)$ dimensional Schwarzschild and $(1+3)$ dimensional de Sitter spacetimes, it is not possible in the $(1+1)…
