We report the complete statistical planetary sample from the prime fields ($Γ\geq 2~{\rm hr}^{-1}$) of the 2019 Korea Microlensing Telescope Network (KMTNet) microlensing survey. We develop the optimized KMTNet AnomalyFinder algorithm and apply it to the 2019 KMTNet prime fields. We find a total of 14 homogeneously selected planets and report the analysis of three planetary events, KMT-2019-BLG-(1042,1552,2974). The planet-host mass ratios, $q$, for the three planetary events are $6.34 \times 10^{-4}, 4.89 \times 10^{-3}$ and $6.18 \times 10^{-4}$, respectively. A Bayesian analysis indicates the three planets are all cold giant planets beyond the snow line of their host stars. The 13 planets are basically uniform in $\log q$ over the range $-5.0 < \log q < -1.5$. This result suggests that the planets below $q_{\rm break} = 1.7 \times 10^{-4}$ proposed by the MOA-II survey may be more common than previously believed. This work is an early component of a large project to determine the KMTNet mass-ratio function, and the whole sample of 2016--2019 KMTNet events should contain about 120 planets.
We present the analysis of seven microlensing planetary events with planet/host mass ratios $q < 10^{-4}$: KMT-2017-BLG-1194, KMT-2017-BLG-0428, KMT-2019-BLG-1806, KMT-2017-BLG-1003, KMT-2019-BLG-1367, OGLE-2017-BLG-1806, and KMT-2016-BLG-1105. They were identified by applying the Korea Microlensing Telescope Network (KMTNet) AnomalyFinder algorithm to 2016--2019 KMTNet events. A Bayesian analysis indicates that all the lens systems consist of a cold super-Earth orbiting an M or K dwarf. Together with 17 previously published and three that will be published elsewhere, AnomalyFinder has found a…
We complete the analysis of all 2018 sub-prime-field microlensing planets identified by the KMTNet AnomalyFinder. Among the 9 previously unpublished events with clear planetary solutions, 6 are clearly planetary (KMT-2018-BLG-0030, KMT-2018-BLG-0087, KMT-2018-BLG-0247, OGLE-2018-BLG-0298, KMT-2018-BLG-2602, and OGLE-2018-BLG-1119), while the remaining 3 are ambiguous in nature. In addition, there are 8 previously published sub-prime field planets that were selected by the AnomalyFinder algorithm. Together with a companion paper (Gould et al. 2022) on 2018 prime-field planets, this work lays th…
As a part of the ``Systematic KMTNet Planetary Anomaly Search" series, we report five new planets (namely, OGLE-2016-BLG-1635Lb, MOA-2016-BLG-532Lb, KMT-2016-BLG-0625Lb, OGLE-2016-BLG-1850Lb, and KMT-2016-BLG-1751Lb) and one planet candidate (KMT-2016-BLG-1855), which were found by searching $2016$ KMTNet prime fields. These $buried$ planets show a wide range of masses from Earth--class to Super--Jupiter--class, and are located in both the disk and the bulge. The ultimate goal of this series is to build a complete planet sample. Because our work provides a complementary sample to other planet …
We complete the analysis of all 2018 prime-field microlensing planets identified by the KMTNet AnomalyFinder. Among the 10 previously unpublished events with clear planetary solutions, 8 are either unambiguously planetary or are very likely to be planetary in nature: OGLE-2018-BLG-1126, KMT-2018-BLG-2004, OGLE-2018-BLG-1647, OGLE-2018-BLG-1367, OGLE-2018-BLG-1544, OGLE-2018-BLG-0932, OGLE-2018-BLG-1212, and KMT-2018-BLG-2718. Combined with the 4 previously published new AnomalyFinder events and 12 previously published (or in preparation) planets that were discovered by eye, thismakes a total o…
Only a few wide-orbit planets around old stars have been detected, which limits our statistical understanding of this planet population. Following the systematic search for planetary anomalies in microlensing events found by the Korea Microlensing Telescope Network (KMTNet), we present the discovery and analysis of three events that were initially thought to contain wide-orbit planets. The anomalous feature in the light curve of OGLE-2018-BLG-0383 is caused by a planet with mass ratio $q=2.1\times 10^{-4}$ and a projected separation $s=2.45$. This makes it the lowest mass-ratio microlensing pl…

In order to exhume the buried signatures of "missing planetary caustics" in the KMTNet data, we conducted a systematic anomaly search to the residuals from point-source point-lens fits, based on a modified version of the KMTNet EventFinder algorithm. This search reveals the lowest mass-ratio planetary caustic to date in the microlensing event OGLE-2019-BLG-1053, for which the planetary signal had not been noticed before. The planetary system has a planet-host mass ratio of $q = (1.25 \pm 0.13) \times 10^{-5}$. A Bayesian analysis yields estimates of the mass of the host star, $M_{\rm host} = 0…

We investigate the microlensing data collected during the 2017--2019 seasons in the peripheral Galactic bulge fields with the aim of finding planetary signals in microlensing light curves observed with relatively sparse coverage. We first sort out lensing events with weak short-term anomalies in the lensing light curves from the visual inspection of all non-prime-field events, and then test various interpretations of the anomalies. From this procedure, we find two previously unidentified candidate planetary lensing events KMT-2017-BLG-0673 and KMT-2019-BLG-0414. It is found that the planetary …
We present the analysis of KMT-2016-BLG-0212, a low flux-variation $(I_{\rm flux-var}\sim 20$) microlensing event, which is well-covered by high-cadence data from the three Korea Microlensing Telescope Network (KMTNet) telescopes. The event shows a short anomaly that is incompletely covered due to the brief visibility intervals that characterize the early microlensing season when the anomaly occurred. We show that the data are consistent with two classes of solutions, characterized respectively by low-mass brown-dwarf $(q=0.037)$ and sub-Neptune $(q<10^{-4})$ companions, respectively. Future h…

We reexamine high-magnification microlensing events in the previous data collected by the KMTNet survey with the aim of finding planetary signals that were not noticed before. In this work, we report the planetary system KMT-2018-BLG-1988L that was found from this investigation. The planetary signal appears as a deviation with $\lesssim 0.2$~mag from a single-lens light curve and lasted for about 6 hours. The deviation exhibits a pattern of a dip surrounded by weak bumps on both sides of the dip. The analysis of the lensing light curve indicates that the signal is produced by a low mass-ratio …
We apply the automated AnomalyFinder algorithm of Paper I (Zang et al. 2021b) to 2018-2019 light curves from the $\simeq 13\,{\rm deg}^2$ covered by the six KMTNet prime fields, with cadences $Γ\geq 2\,{\rm hr}^{-1}$. We find a total of 11 planets with mass ratios $q<2\times 10^{-4}$, including six newly discovered planets, one planet that was reported in Paper I, and recovery of four previously discovered planets. One of the new planets, OGLE-2018-BLG-0977Lb, is in a planetary-caustic event, while the other five (OGLE-2018-BLG-0506Lb, OGLE-2018-BLG-0516Lb, OGLE-2019-BLG-1492Lb, KMT-2019-BLG-0…
We present the MOA Collaboration light curve data for planetary microlensing event OGLE-2015-BLG-0954, which was previously announced in a paper by the KMTNet and OGLE Collaborations. The MOA data cover the caustic exit, which was not covered by the KMTNet or OGLE data, and they provide a more reliable measurement of the finite source effect. The MOA data also provide a new source color measurement that reveals a lens-source relative proper motion of $μ_{\rm rel} = 11.8\pm 0.8\,$mas/yr, which compares to the value of $μ_{\rm rel} = 18.4\pm 1.7\,$mas/yr reported in the KMTNet-OGLE paper. This n…
We report the characterization of a massive (m_p=3.9 +- 1.4 M_jup) microlensing planet (OGLE-2015-BLG-0954Lb) orbiting an M dwarf host (M=0.33 +- 0.12 M_sun) at a distance toward the Galactic bulge of 0.6 (+0.4,-0.2) kpc, which is extremely nearby by microlensing standards. The planet-host projected separation is a_perp ~ 1.2 AU. The characterization was made possible by the wide-field (4 sq. deg.) high cadence (Gamma = 6/hr) monitoring of the Korea Microlensing Telescope Network (KMTNet), which had two of its three telescopes in commissioning operations at the time of the planetary anomaly. T…
We present the analysis of three more planets from the KMTNet 2021 microlensing season. KMT-2021-BLG-0119Lb is a $\sim 6\, M_{\rm Jup}$ planet orbiting an early M-dwarf or a K-dwarf, KMT-2021-BLG-0192Lb is a $\sim 2\, M_{\rm Nep}$ planet orbiting an M-dwarf, and KMT-2021-BLG-0192Lb is a $\sim 1.25\, M_{\rm Nep}$ planet orbiting a very--low-mass M dwarf or a brown dwarf. These by-eye planet detections provide an important comparison sample to the sample selected with the AnomalyFinder algorithm, and in particular, KMT-2021-BLG-2294, is a case of a planet detected by-eye but not by-algorithm. KM…
We report the discovery of a giant planet in the KMT-2016-BLG-1397 microlensing event, which was found by The Korea Microlensing Telescope Network (KMTNet) alone. The time scale of this event is t_E = 40.0 +- 0.5 days and the mass ratio between the lens star and its companion is q = 0.016 +- 0.002. The planetary perturbation in the light curve is a smooth bump, resulting in the classical binary-lens/binary-source (2L1S/1L2S) degeneracy. We measure the V - I color of the (putative) two sources in the 1L2S model, and then effectively rule out the binary source solution. The finite-source effect …
We report two microlensing planet candidates discovered by the KMTNet survey in $2017$. However, both events have the 2L1S/1L2S degeneracy, which is an obstacle to claiming the discovery of the planets with certainty unless the degeneracy can be resolved. For KMT-2017-BLG-0962, the degeneracy cannot be resolved. If the 2L1S solution is correct, KMT-2017-BLG-0962 might be produced by a super Jupiter-mass planet orbiting a mid-M dwarf host star. For KMT-2017-BLG-1119, the light curve modeling favors the 2L1S solution but higher-resolution observations of the baseline object tend to support the 1…
We report two microlensing events, KMT-2017-BLG-1038 and KMT-2017-BLG-1146 that are caused by planetary systems. These events were discovered by KMTNet survey observations from the $2017$ bulge season. The discovered systems consist of a planet and host star with mass ratios, $5.3_{-0.4}^{+0.2} \times 10^{-3}$ and $2.0_{-0.1}^{+0.6} \times 10^{-3}$, respectively. Based on a Bayesian analysis assuming a Galactic model without stellar remnant hosts, we find that the planet, KMT-2017-BLG-1038Lb, is a super Jupiter-mass planet ($M_{\rm p}= 2.04_{-1.15}^{+2.02}\,M_{\rm J}$) orbiting a mid-M dwarf h…
We report the discovery and analysis of a candidate triple-lens single-source (3L1S) microlensing event, OGLE-2019-BLG-1470. This event was first classified as a normal binary-lens single-source (2L1S) event, but a careful 2L1S modelling showed that it needs an additional lens or source to fit the observed data. It is found that the 3L1S model provides the best fit, but the binary-lens binary-source (2L2S) model is only disfavoured by $Δχ^2 \simeq 18$. All of the feasible models include a planet with planet-to-host mass-ratios $10^{-3} \lesssim q \lesssim 10^{-2}$. A Bayesian analysis based on…
We present the first short-duration candidate microlensing events from the Kepler K2 mission. From late April to early July 2016, Campaign 9 of K2 obtained high temporal cadence observations over a 3.7 square degree region of the Galactic bulge. Its primary objectives were to look for evidence of a free-floating planet (FFP) population using microlensing, and demonstrate the feasibility of space-based planetary microlensing surveys. Though Kepler K2 is far from optimal for microlensing, the recently developed MCPM photometric pipeline enables us to identify and model microlensing events. We de…

We search for microlensing planets with signals exhibiting no caustic-crossing features, considering the possibility that such signals may be missed due to their weak and featureless nature. For this purpose, we reexamine the lensing events found by the KMTNet survey before the 2019 season. From this investigation, we find two new planetary lensing events, KMT-2018-BLG-1976 and KMT-2018-BLG-1996. We also present the analysis of the planetary event OGLE-2019-BLG-0954, for which the planetary signal was known, but no detailed analysis has been presented before. We identify the genuineness of the…

We report the discovery and the analysis of the short (tE < 5 days) planetary microlensing event, OGLE-2015-BLG-1771. The event was discovered by the Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment (OGLE), and the planetary anomaly (at I ~ 19) was captured by The Korea Microlensing Telescope Network (KMTNet). The event has three surviving planetary models that explain the observed light curves, with planet-host mass ratio q \~ 5.4 * 10^{-3}, 4.5 * 10^{-3} and 4.5 * 10^{-2}, respectively. The first model is the best-fit model, while the second model is disfavored by Δχ^2 ~ 3. The last model is strongl…
The light curve of the microlensing event KMT-2021-BLG-0240 exhibits a short-lasting anomaly with complex features near the peak at the 0.1~mag level from a single-lens single-source model. We conducted modeling of the lensing light curve under various interpretations to reveal the nature of the anomaly. It is found that the anomaly cannot be explained with the usual model based on a binary-lens (2L1S) or a binary-source (1L2S) interpretation. However, a 2L1S model with a planet companion can describe part of the anomaly, suggesting that the anomaly may be deformed by a tertiary lens component…
The surface angular velocity evolution of low-mass stars is now globally understood and the main physical mechanisms involved in it are observationally quite constrained. Additionally, recent observations showed anomalies in the rotation period distribution of open clusters main sequence early K-type stars that cannot be reproduced by current angular momentum evolution model. In this work, we study the parameter space of star-planet system's configurations to investigate if including the tidal star-planet interaction in angular momentum evolution models could reproduce these rotation period di…
We report the discovery of a super-Jovian planet in the microlensing event KMT-2016-BLG-1836, which was found by the Korea Microlensing Telescope Network's high-cadence observations (Γ~ 4~{hr}^{-1}). The planet-host mass ratio q ~ 0.004. A Bayesian analysis indicates that the planetary system is composed of a super-Jovian M_{planet} = 2.2_{-1.1}^{+1.9} M_{J} planet orbiting an M or K dwarf M_{\rm host} = 0.49_{-0.25}^{+0.38} M_{Sun}, at a distance of D_{L} = 7.1_{-2.4}^{+0.8} kpc. The projected planet-host separation is 3.5^{+1.1}_{-0.9} AU, implying that the planet is located beyond the snowl…
20573 simulations of planetary transits around spotted stars were conducted using the transit-starspot model, \texttt{PRISM}. In total 3888 different scenarios were considered using three different host star spectral types, M4V, M1V and K5V. The mean amplitude of the starspot anomaly was measured and compared to the photometric precision of the light curve, to determine if the starspot anomaly's characteristic "blip" was noticeable in the light curve. The simulations show that, starspot anomalies will be observable in TESS 2\,min cadence data. The smallest starspot detectable in TESS transit l…
We present the analyses of two microlensing events, OGLE-2018-BLG-0567 and OGLE-2018-BLG-0962. In both events, the short-lasting anomalies were densely and continuously covered by two high-cadence surveys. The light-curve modeling indicates that the anomalies are generated by source crossings over the planetary caustics induced by planetary companions to the hosts. The estimated planet/host separation (scaled to the angular Einstein radius $θ_{\rm E}$) and mass ratio are $(s, q) = (1.81, 1.24\times10^{-3})$ and $(s, q) = (1.25, 2.38\times10^{-3})$, respectively. From Bayesian analyses, we esti…
The light curve of the microlensing event KMT-2021-BLG-1898 exhibits a short-term central anomaly with double-bump features that cannot be explained by the usual binary-lens or binary-source interpretations. With the aim of interpreting the anomaly, we analyze the lensing light curve under various sophisticated models. We find that the anomaly is explained by a model, in which both the lens and source are binaries (2L2S model). For this interpretation, the lens is a planetary system with a planet/host mass ratio of $q\sim 1.5\times 10^{-3}$, and the source is a binary composed of a turn off or…
To explain the unusual distribution of Kuiper Belt objects, several authors have advocated the existence of a super-Earth planet in the outer solar system. It has recently been proposed that a 10 M$_{\oplus}$ object with an orbit of 700 AU semi major axis and 0.6 eccentricity can explain the observed distribution of Kuiper Belt objects around Sedna. Here we use the INPOP planetary ephemerides model as a sensor for testing for an additional body in the solar system. We test the possibility of adding the proposed planet without increasing the residuals of the planetary ephemerides, fitted over t…

We investigate the gravitational microlensing event KMT-2019-BLG-1715, of which light curve shows two short-term anomalies from a caustic-crossing binary-lensing light curve: one with a large deviation and the other with a small deviation. We identify five pairs of solutions, in which the anomalies are explained by adding an extra lens or source component in addition to the base binary-lens model. We resolve the degeneracies by applying a method, in which the measured flux ratio between the first and second source stars is compared with the flux ratio deduced from the ratio of the source radii…
WASP-18 hosts a massive, very close-in Jupiter-like planet. Despite its young age ($<$1 Gyr), the star presents an anomalously low stellar activity level: the measured logR'$_{\rm HK}$ activity parameter lies slightly below the basal level; there is no significant time-variability in the logR'$_{\rm HK}$ value; there is no detection of the star in the X-rays. We present results of far-UV observations of WASP-18 obtained with COS on board of Hubble Space Telescope aimed at explaining this anomaly. From the star's spectral energy distribution, we infer the extinction (E(B-V) $\approx$ 0.01 mag) …
KMT-2016-BLG-2605, with planet-host mass ratio $q=0.012\pm 0.001$, has the shortest Einstein timescale, $t_\e = 3.41\pm 0.13\,$days, of any planetary microlensing event to date. This prompts us to examine the full sample of 7 short ($t_\e<7\,$day) planetary events with good $q$ measurements. We find that six have clustered Einstein radii $θ_\e = 115\pm 20\,\muas$ and lens-source relative proper motions $μ_\rel\simeq 9.5\pm 2.5\,\masyr$. For the seventh, these two quantities could not be measured. These distributions are consistent with a Galactic-bulge population of very low-mass (VLM) hosts n…
