We derive an upper bound on the smuon mass assuming that the muon $g-2$ anomaly is explained by the supersymmetric (SUSY) contribution. In the minimal SUSY standard model, the SUSY contribution to the muon $g-2$ is enhanced when the Higgsino mass parameter is large. Then, the smuon-smuon-Higgs trilinear coupling is enhanced, which may destabilize the electroweak vacuum. We calculate precisely the decay rate of the electroweak vacuum in such a case. We include one-loop effects which are crucial to determine the overall normalization of the decay rate. Requiring that the theoretical prediction of the muon anomalous magnetic moment is consistent with the observed value at the $1$ and $2σ$ levels (equal to the central value of the observed value), we found that the lightest smuon mass should be smaller than $1.38$ and $1.68\ {\rm TeV}$ ($1.20\ {\rm TeV}$) for $\tanβ=10$ (with $\tanβ$ being the ratio of the vacuum expectation values of the two Higgs bosons), respectively, and the bound is insensitive to the value of $\tanβ$.
In light of very recent E989 experimental result, we investigate the possibility that heavy sparticles explain the muon g-2 anomaly. We focus on the bino-smuon loop in an effective SUSY scenario, where a light gravitino plays the role of dark matter and other sparticles are heavy. Due to the enhancement of left-right mixing of smuons by heavy higgsinos, the contribution of bino-smuon loop can sizably increase the prediction of muon g-2 to the experimental value. Under collider and vacuum stability constraints, we find that TeV scale bino and smuon can still account for the new muon g-2 anomaly…
Motivated by the recent supersymmetry (SUSY) search results which prefer most SUSY particles heavy, and muon g-2 anomaly which prefers colorless SUSY particles light, we explore the status of a light smuon (the SUSY partner of left-handed muon lepton) in the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM). Assuming colored SUSY particles be heavy, and considering numerous experimental constraints including muon g-2, SUSY searches, and dark matter, we scan the parameter space in the NMSSM with Z3-symmetry, checking the status of colorless SUSY particles and their possible mass order, and …
Supersymmetric (SUSY) explanation of the discrepancy between the measurement of $(g-2)_μ$ and its SM prediction puts strong upper bounds on the chargino and smuon masses. At the same time, lower experimental limits on the chargino and smuon masses, combined with the Higgs mass measurement, lead to an upper bound on the stop masses. The current LHC limits on the chargino and smuon masses (for not too compressed spectrum) set the upper bound on the stop masses of about 10 TeV. The discovery potential of the future lepton and hadron colliders should lead to the discovery of SUSY if it is responsi…
We study SUSY models in which Bino contributions solve the muon g-2 anomaly. The contributions are enhanced by large left-right mixing of the smuons. However, it is constrained by the vacuum stability condition of the slepton--Higgs potential. Therefore, there are upper bounds on masses of sleptons and Bino. When the slepton soft masses are universal, the upper bound on the smuon mass becomes 330 (460)GeV in order to solve the g-2 anomaly at the 1 sigma (2 sigma) level. It is within the reach of LHC and ILC. If the stau is heavier than the smuon, the bound can be as large as 1.4 (1.9)TeV. Such…
We introduce an in-depth study of an unprobed pMSSM region offering a natural solution to dark matter. Since the 1980s this region has been referred to as the "bulk", consisting of sub 200 GeV neutralinos and right-handed smuons. The bulk satisfies recent muon $g_μ-2$ measurements and sustains consistency with $all$ presently operating SUSY experiments and LHC constraints. Initial ingress into the bulk will arrive soon via the LUX-ZEPLIN 1000-day experiment. The ATLAS Collaboration at the LHC has confirmed that observation of these light right-handed smuon events can occur at the ongoing LHC R…
The E989 experiment at the Fermi National Laboratory reported a 4.2$σ$ discrepancy between the measured magnetic dipole moment of the muon, and its prediction in the Standard Model (SM). In this study, we address the anomaly by considering a minimal and generic extension to the SM which also provides for a dark matter (DM) candidate. The extra states in this framework are: a SM singlet Majorana fermion, referred to as the Bino, playing the role of DM; and muonic scalars, referred to as sleptons. The couplings between the sleptons, SM muons and the Bino can account for the muon $g-2$ anomaly if…
We study the interplay between a soft muon Yukawa coupling generated radiatively with the trilinear A-terms of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) and the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon. In the absence of a tree-level muon Yukawa coupling the lightest smuon mass is predicted to be in the range between 750 GeV and 2700 GeV at 2 sigma, if the bino mass M_1 is below 1 TeV. Therefore, a detection of a smuon (in conjunction with a sub-TeV bino) at the LHC would directly imply a non-zero muon Yukawa coupling in the MSSM superpotential. Inclusion of slepton flavor mixing could in …
We study the muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment in supersymmetric theories. The impact of the recent Brookhaven E821 experimental measurement on both model-independent and model-dependent supersymmetric parameter spaces is discussed in detail. We find that values of tanβas low as 3 can be obtained while remaining within the E821 one-sigma bound. This requires a light smuon; however, we show that, somewhat surprisingly, no model-independent bound can be placed on the mass of the lightest chargino for any tanβgreater than or equal to 3. We also show that the maximum contributions to the anoma…
We study the muon $(g-2)_μ$ anomaly in light of neutralino dark matter and the LHC. We scan the MSSM parameters relevant to $(g-2)_μ$ and focus on three distinct cases with different neutralino compositions. We find that the 2$σ$ range of $(g-2)_μ$ requires the smuon ($\tildeμ_1$) to be lighter than $\sim$ 500 (1000) GeV for $\tan β=10\,(50)$. Correspondingly the two lightest neutralinos, $\tildeχ_{1}^0, \tildeχ_{2}^0$, have to be lighter than $\sim$ 300 (650) GeV and 900 (1000) GeV respectively. We explore the prospects of searching the light smuon and neutralinos at the LHC, in conjunction w…
With sufficient data, Large Hadron Collider (LHC) experiments can constrain the selectron-smuon mass splitting through differences in the di-electron and di-muon edges from supersymmetry (SUSY) cascade decays. We study the sensitivity of the LHC to this mass splitting, which within mSUGRA may be constrained down to O(10^{-4}) for 30 fb^{-1} of integrated luminosity. Over substantial regions of SUSY breaking parameter space the fractional edge splitting can be significantly enhanced over the fractional mass splitting. Within models where the selectron and smuon are constrained to be universal a…
The minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) with complex parameters can contribute sizably to muon/electron anomalous magnetic dipole momemnt ($g-2$) and electric dipole moment (EDM). The electron $g-2$ interplays with electron EDM; the muon $g-2$ can also interplay with electron EDM assuming the universality between smuon and selectron masses, either of which can constrain the relevant CP-phases in the MSSM. In this work, we first use such an interplay to derive an approximate analytical upper limit on the relevant CP-phase. Then we extensively scan the parameter space to obtain more acc…
Muon g-2 anomaly, which is mismatch between the theoretical and the experimental values of the anomalous magnetic moment of muons, provides a sensitive probe of new physics. In SUSY, if masses of the superpartners relevant to the muon g-2 are O(100) GeV, the SUSY contributions to the muon g-2 become sizable and the anomaly can be solved. There are two representative SUSY contributions to the muon g-2, the chargino and the neutralino contributions, respectively. Particularly, when the discrepancy of the muon g-2 is dominated by the neutralino contributions, it is found that the discrepancy can …
In this note we discuss a characteristic collider signature of models of gauge mediated supersymmetry breaking in which the selectron and smuon are mass-degenerate co-NLSP. In these models, all processes involving superpartners give rise to two NLSP selectrons or smuons, each of which subsequently decays to a nearly massless LSP gravitino and an electron or a muon. In a large region of the parameter space, the NLSPs travel macroscopic distances, of the order 0.1-1000 mm, before they decay. Hence, these models give rise to collider signatures involving charged tracks that end at vertices, which…
The muon anomalous magnetic moment $a_μ$ is investigated in the MSSM for $\tanβ\to\infty$. This is an attractive example of radiative muon mass generation with completely different qualitative parameter dependence compared to the MSSM with the usual, finite $\tanβ$. The observed, positive difference between the experimental and Standard Model value can only be explained if there are mass splittings, such that bino contributions dominate over wino ones. The two most promising cases are characterized either by large Higgsino mass $μ$ or by large left-handed smuon mass $m_L$. The required mass sp…
The new measurement of the anomalous magnetic moment of muon at the Fermilab Muon $g-2$ experiment has strengthened the significance of the discrepancy between the standard model prediction and the experimental observation from the BNL measurement. If new physics responsible for the muon $g-2$ anomaly is supersymmetric, one should consider how to obtain light electroweakinos and sleptons in a systematic way. The gauge coupling unification allows a robust prediction of the gaugino masses, indicating that the electroweakinos can be much lighter than the gluino if anomaly-mediated supersymmetry b…
In this paper we consider non-minimal couplings of the Standard Model fermions to the vector (trace) and axial vector (pseudo-trace) components of the torsion tensor. We then evaluate the contributions of these vector and axial vector components to the muon anomaly and use the recent precision measurement of the muon anomaly to derive constraints on the torsion parameters.
The electric field corrections to the recently measured muon magnetic moment g-2 anomaly are considered from both the classical (BMT) and the quantum mechanical (Dirac) viewpoints. In both views, we prove that the electric field inducing the horizontal betatron tune does not renormalize the anomaly frequency. With this result kept in mind, the experimental muon magnetic moment anomaly is in closer agreement with standard model predictions than has been previously reported.
We reexamine the limits on the gravitino mass supplied by the muon anomaly in the frame of supergravity models with a superlight gravitino and a superlight scalar S and a superlight pseudoscalar P.
Motivated by two experimental facts, the muon g-2 anomaly and the observed Higgs boson mass around 125 GeV, we propose a simple model of anomaly mediation, which can be seen as a generalization of mixed modulus-anomaly mediation. In our model, the discrepancy of the muon g-2 and the Higgs boson mass around 125 GeV are easily accommodated. The required mass splitting between the strongly and weakly interacting SUSY particles are naturally achieved by the contribution from anomaly mediation. This model is easily consistent with SU(5) or SO(10) grand unified theory.
This mini review aims to outline the main experimental and theoretical results related with the search for a new light vector boson proposed as a solution of the muon $g-2$ anomaly. Additionally, I consider a model with infinite number of light vector bosons which can explain the anomaly, while still remaining consistent with current experimental bounds.
We consider isosinglet scalar extension of a model with a Higgs democracy - multihiggs extension of the SM where each quark and lepton has its own Higgs isodoublet. The addition of light isosinglet scalar allows to solve both muon $g_μ-2$ anomaly and dark matter problem. Also we point out that an extension of the model with $L_μ - L_τ$ vector interaction allows not only explain muon $g_μ - 2$ anomaly but also dark matter density.
The hadronic light-by-light scattering contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic moment can be estimated by computing constituent quark loops. Such an estimate is very sensitive to the numerical values of the constituent quark masses. These can be fixed by computing the hadronic vacuum polarization contribution to the muon magnetic anomaly within the same model. In this Letter, we demonstrate the stability of this framework against first-order perturbative QCD corrections.
We explore a simple model containing two singlet scalars as dark matter supplemented with a vector-like lepton. Evading collider and dark matter constraints, the model is able to accommodate the correct dark matter relic abundance and the muon g-2 anomaly when the masses of the three new fields are around 100 GeV and the values of the minimum amount of required couplings are order one.
We present models of new physics that can explain the muon g-2 anomaly in accord with with the assumption that the only scalar existing at the weak scale is the Higgs, as suggested by anthropic selection. Such models are dubbed "charged see-saw" because the muon mass term is mediated by heavy leptons. The electroweak contribution to the g-2 gets modified by order one factors, giving an anomaly of the same order as the observed hint, which is strongly correlated with a modification of the Higgs coupling to the muon.
We study the deflected anomaly-mediated supersymmetry breaking (AMSB) scenario in the light of the recent result of the muon g-2 from Brookhaven E821 experiment. The E821 result suggests the deviation from the SM prediction, though there remain unsettled uncertainties. We find that the supersymmetric contribution to the muon g-2 can be \mathcal{O}(10^{-9}), large enough to fill the deviation, with other experimental constraints satisfied. In particular, the Higgs mass and b \to s γput severe constraints on the model and large \tanβis favored to enhance the muon g-2.
The ATLAS and CMS collaborations recently reported indication of a Higgs boson around 125 GeV. If we add extra vector-like quarks to the MSSM, such a relatively heavy Higgs can be naturally realized in the GMSB framework, simultaneously explaining the muon g-2 anomaly. I will discuss LHC prospects of this attractive model.
We present the estimates of the five-loop QED corrections to the muon anomaly using the scheme-invariant approaches and demonstrate that they are in good agreement with the results of exact calculations of the corresponding tenth-order diagrams supplemented by the additional guess about the values of the non-calculated contributions.
We investigate a two Higgs doublet model with extra flavour depending $U(1)_X$ gauge symmetry where $Z'$ boson interactions can explain the Atomki anomaly by choosing appropriate charge assignment for the SM fermions. For parameter region explaining the Atomki anomaly we obtain light scalar boson with $\mathcal{O}(10)$ GeV mass, and we explore scalar sector to search for allowed parameter space. We then discuss anomalous magnetic dipole moment of muon and lepton flavour violating processes induced by Yukawa couplings of our model.
We show that, according to the scheme of spontaneous breakings starting from a GUT with symmetry E6, it is possible that either a superheavy particle without ordinary interactions is source of ultra-high energy cosmic rays or a not so heavy lepton mixes with muon explaining the recently observed discrepancy of the anomalous magnetic moment of the latter.
Hadronic electroweak corrections to the muon anomalous magnetic moment (g-2) are reviewed. Emphasis is on clarification of discrepancies among various published studies. A theorem on non-renormalization of the transversal part of a correlator of two vector currents and an axial current is reviewed and its consequences in the form of superconvergent sum rules are discussed.
We propose to realize (natural) NMSSM spectrum from deflected AMSB with new messenger-matter interactions. With additional messenger-matter interactions involving ${\bf 10}\oplus{\bf \overline{10}}$ representation messengers, the muon g-2 anomaly can be solved at $2σ$ (or $3σ$) level with the corresponding gluino mass range $2.8~{\rm TeV}<m_{\tilde{g}}<5.4~ {\rm TeV}$ (or $2.6 ~{\rm TeV}<m_{\tilde{g}}<7.3~ {\rm TeV}$). Besides, our scenario is fairly natural within which the involved fine tuning can be as low as 47. So, in the framework of AMSB-type scenarios, NMSSM can be advantageous in expl…
Motivated by the long-standing discrepancy between the Standard Model prediction and the experimental measurement of the muon magnetic dipole moment, we have recently proposed to interpret this muon $g-2$ anomaly in terms of the loop effect induced by a new massive spin-2 field $G$. In the present paper, we investigate the unitarity bounds on this scenario. We calculate the $s$-wave projected amplitudes for two-body elastic scatterings of charged leptons and photons mediated by $G$ at high energies for all possible initial and final helicity states. By imposing the condition of the perturbativ…
We present a model based on the implication of an exceptional E_{6}-GUT symmetry for the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon. We follow a particular chain of breakings with Higgses in the 78 and 351 representations. We analyse the radiative correction contributions to the muon mass and the effects of the breaking of the so-called Weinberg symmetry. We also estimate the range of values of the parameters of our model.
We propose a SUSY scenario to explain the current electron and muon $g-2$ discrepancies without introducing lepton flavor mixings. Threshold corrections to the Yukawa couplings can enhance the electron $g-2$ and flip the sign of the SUSY contributions. The mechanism predicts a flavor-dependent slepton mass spectrum. We show that it is compatible with the Higgs mediation scenario.
The prediction for the quartic coupling of the SM-like Higgs boson constrains the parameter space of SUSY models, even in scenarios where all of the new-particle masses are above the scale probed so far by the LHC. We study the implications of the Higgs-mass prediction on a recently-proposed SUSY model that features two pairs of Higgs doublets, and provides a solution to the g-2 anomaly thanks to a suitable enhancement of the muon Yukawa coupling.
Any observation of charged lepton flavor violation (CLFV) implies the existence of new physics beyond the SM in charged lepton sector. CLFV interactions may also contribute to the muon magnetic moment and explain the discrepancy between the SM prediction and the recent muon $g-2$ precision measurement at Fermilab. We consider the most general SM gauge invariant Lagrangian of $ΔL=0$ bileptons with CLFV couplings and investigate the interplay of low-energy precision experiments and colliders in light of the muon magnetic moment anomaly. We go beyond previous work by demonstrating the sensitivity…
It is well known that excessively heavy supersymmetric particles (sparticles) are disfavored to explain the $(g-2)_μ$ anomaly, but some people overlook that moderately light sparticles are also disfavored by the LHC probes of supersymmetry. We take the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model as an example to emphasize the latter point. It is found that, if the theory is required to explain the anomaly at $2σ$ level and meanwhile keep consistent with the LHC results, the following lower bounds may be set: $\tan β\gtrsim 20$, $|M_1| \gtrsim 275~{\rm GeV}$, $M_2 \gtrsim 300~{\rm GeV}$, $μ\g…
We propose to interpret the 750 GeV diphoton excess in deflected anomaly mediation supersymmetry breaking scenarios, which can naturally predict couplings between a singlet field and vector-like messengers. The CP-even scalar component (S) of the singlet field can serve as the 750 GeV resonance. The messenger scale, which is of order the gravitino scale, can be as light as F_ϕ\sim {\cal O}(10) TeV when the messenger species N_F and the deflection parameter d are moderately large. Such messengers can induce the large loop decay process S \to γγ. Our results show that such a scenario can success…
Recently CDF II Collaboration reported that they measured W boson mass precisely. The measurement is deviated from the Standard Model (SM) Prediction at 7$σ$. Also, the recent FNAL measurement of the muon magnetic moment shows a $4.2σ$ deviation. To resolve the W boson as well as the muon $(g-2)$ anomalies, we explore the type-X two Higgs doublet model (2HDM). We analyze the $(m_A, \tanβ)$ parameter space of the type-X 2HDM consistent with the muon $(g-2)$, lepton universality test and recent $W$ boson mass measurments from the CDF II collaboration. We find that the measurement of the $h\to AA…
Gauged $U(1)_{L_μ- L_τ}$ model has been advocated for a long time in light of muon $g-2$ anomaly, which is a more than $3σ$ discrepancy between the experimental measurement and the standard model prediction. We augment this model with three right-handed neutrinos $(N_e, N_μ, N_τ)$ and a vector-like singlet fermion $(χ)$ to explain simultaneously the non-zero neutrino mass and dark matter content of the Universe, while satisfying anomalous muon $g-2$ constraints. It is shown that in a large parameter space of this model we can explain positron excess, observed at PAMELA, Fermi-LAT and AMS-02, t…
A striking consequence of supersymmetry breaking communicated purely via the superconformal anomaly is that the gaugino masses are proportional to the gauge beta functions. This result, however, is not unique to anomaly mediation. We present examples of ``generalized'' gauge-mediated models with messengers in standard model representations that give nearly identical predictions for the gaugino masses, but positive (mass)^2 for all sleptons. There are remarkable similarities between an anomaly-mediated model with a small additional universal mass added to all scalars and the gauge-mediated mode…
We explore the low scale implications of the Pati-Salam Model including the TeV scale right-handed neutrinos interacting and mixing with the MSSM fields through the inverse seesaw (IS) mechanism in the light of the muon anomalous magnetic moment (muon g-2) resolution, and highlight the solutions which are compatible with the Quasi-Yukawa Unification condition (QYU). We find that the presence of the right-handed neutrinos causes heavy smuons >~ 800 GeV in order to avoid tachyonic staus at the low scale. On the other hand, the sneutrinos can be as light as about 100 GeV along with the light char…
We examine the possibilities of accommodating the muon $g-2$ anomaly reported by Fermilab in the 2HDM with a discrete $Z_4$ symmetry in which an inert Higgs doublet field ($H,~A,~H^\pm$) has the lepton flavor violation $μ$-$τ$ interactions. We study the case of light $H$ (5 GeV $<m_H<$ 115 GeV) and assume the Yukawa matrices to be real and symmetrical. Considering relevant theoretical and experimental constraints, especially for the multi-lepton searches at the LHC, we find the muon $g-2$ anomaly can be explained within $2σ$ range in the region of 5 GeV $<m_H<20$ GeV, 130 GeV $< m_A~(m_{H^\pm}…
The muon $g-2$ anomaly was strengthened by recent experimental results at Fermilab, which may be signatures of new physics. A scenario of leptophilic scalar $ϕ_L$ accounting for the muon $g-2$ anomaly is investigated in this paper. Though a light $ϕ_L$ mainly decaying into standard model (SM) particles has been excluded by experiments, a dark leptophilic scalar $ϕ_L$ predominantly decaying into invisible fermionic dark matter (DM) $χ\barχ$ is still allowed. Considering the decay mode $ϕ_L \to χ\barχ$ opened (here $m_{ϕ_L} = 3 m_χ$), the coupling preferred by the muon $g-2$ and the $ϕ_L-χ$ coup…
We analyse the low energy predictions of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) arising from a GUT scale Pati-Salam gauge group further constrained by an $A_4 \times Z_5$ family symmetry, resulting in four soft scalar masses at the GUT scale: one left-handed soft mass $m_0$ and three right-handed soft masses $m_1,m_2,m_3$, one for each generation. We demonstrate that this model, which was initially developed to describe the neutrino sector, can explain collider and non-collider measurements such as the dark matter relic density, the Higgs boson mass and, in particular, the anomalous …
We investigate the possibility to interpret the muon $g-2$ anomaly in terms of a massive spin-2 particle, $G$, which can be identified as the first Kaluza-Klein graviton in the generalized Randall-Sundrum model. In particular, we obtain the leading-order contributions to the muon $g-2$ by calculating the relevant one-loop Feynman diagrams induced by $G$. The analytic expression is shown to keep the gauge invariance of the quantum electrodynamics and to be consistent with the expected UV divergence structure. Moreover, we impose the theoretical bounds from the perturbativity and the experimenta…
We examine the charged boson and right-handed neutrino contribution to the muon g-2 anomaly in the twin Higgs models with the joint constraints of the Higgs global fit data, the precision electroweak data, the leptonic flavor changing decay μ\to eγ, and the mass requirement of the heavy gauge bosons. It comes out with the conclusion that some parameters such as the coupling of charged Higgs to the lepton y_μ, the top Yukawa y_t, and the heavy gauge boson coupling to the lepton V_μare constrained roughly in the range of 0.12\lesssim y_μ\lesssim 0.4, 0.4\lesssim y_t\lesssim 0.9, and 0.47\lesssim…
The present work introduces new scalar and fermionic degrees of freedom to the Standard Model. While the scalar sector is augmented by a complex scalar triplet and a doubly charged scalar singlet, the fermionic sector is extended by two copies of vector-like leptons. Of these, one copy is an $SU(2)_L$ singlet while the other, an $SU(2)_L$ doublet. We explain how this combination can offer a solution to the muon g-2 anomaly and also lead to non-zero neutrino masses. In addition, it is also shown that the parameter regions compliant with the two aforementioned issues can stabilise the electrowea…
The ongoing high precision E821 Brookhaven National Laboratory experiment on muon g-2 is promising to probe a theory involving supersymmetry. We have studied the constraints on the minimal Anomaly Mediated Supersymmetry Breaking (AMSB) model using the current data of muon g-2 from Brookhaven. A scenario of seeing no deviation from the Standard Model is also considered, within a $2σ$ limit of the combined error from the Standard Model result and the Brookhaven predicted uncertainty level. The resulting constraint is found to be complementary to what one obtains from $b \to s+ γ$ bounds within t…
We examine the lepton-specific 2HDM as a solution of muon $g-2$ anomaly under various theoretical and experimental constraints, especially the direct search limits from the LHC and the requirement of a strong first-order phase transition in the early universe. We find that the muon g-2 anomaly can be explained in the region of 32 $<\tanβ<$ 80, 10 GeV $<m_A<$ 65 GeV, 260 GeV $<m_H<$ 620 GeV and 180 GeV $<m_{H^\pm}<$ 620 GeV after imposing the joint constraints from the theory, the precision electroweak data, the 125 GeV Higgs data, the leptonic/semi-hadronic $τ$ decays, the leptonic $Z$ decays …
The latest results of CDF-II collaboration show a discrepancy of $7σ$ with standard model expectations. There is, also, a $4.2σ$ discrepancy in the measurement of muon magnetic moment reported by Fermilab. We study the connection between neutrino masses, dark matter, muon ($g-2$) and W-boson mass anomaly within a single coherent framework based on $Z_{4}$ extension of the scotogenic model with vector like lepton (VLL). Neutrino masses are generated at one loop level. The inert doublet, also, provide a solution to W-boson mass anomaly through correction in oblique parameters $S$, $T$ and $U$. T…
Exchanging a $Z^\prime$ gauge boson is a favored mechanism to solve the muon $(g-2)_μ$ anomaly. Among such models the $Z^\prime$ from $U(1)_{L_μ- L_τ}$ gauge group has been extensively studied. In this model the same interaction addressing $(g-2)_μ$, leads to an enhanced muon neutrino trident (MNT) process $ν_μN \to ν_μμ\bar μN$ constraining the $Z^\prime$ mass to be less than a few hundred MeV. Many other $Z^\prime$ models face the same problem. It has long been realized that the coupling of $Z^\prime$ in the model can admit $(\bar μγ^μτ+ \bar ν_μγ^μL ν_τ)Z^\prime_μ$ interaction which does no…
Selectron (smuon) pair-production in a next generation Linear Collider, yielding a fast electron (muon) trigger, a visible heavily ionizing track and/or a resolved soft pion impact parameter and overall $\mET$, is shown to provide a smoking gun signature for Anomaly Mediated Supersymmetry Breaking models with a neutral Wino as the Lightest Supersymmetric Particle, nearly mass-degenerate with the lighter chargino.
Non-universal gaugino mass models can naturally account for the dark matter relic density via the bulk annihilation process with relatively light bino LSP and right sleptons in the mass range of ~ 100 GeV, while accommodating the observed Higgs boson mass of ~ 125 GeV with TeV scale squark/gluino masses. A class of these models can also account for the observed muon g-2 anomaly via SUSY loops with wino and left sleptons in the mass range of 400 -- 700 GeV. These models can be tested at LHC via electroweak production of charged and neutral wino pair, leading to robust trilepton and same sign di…
