Schur functions and inner functions on the bidisc

We study representations of inner functions on the bidisc from a fractional linear transformation point of view, and provide sufficient conditions, in terms of colligation matrices, for the existence of two-variable inner functions. Here the sufficient conditions are not necessary in general, and we prove a weak converse for rational inner functions that admit one variable factorization. We present a complete classification of de Branges-Rovnyak kernels on the bidisc (which equally works in the setting of polydisc and the open unit ball of $\mathbb{C}^n$, $n \geq 1$). We also classify, in terms of Agler kernels, two-variable Schur functions that admit one variable factor.

On the Nevanlinna problem - Characterization of all Schur-Agler class solutions

Given a domain $Ω$ in $\mathbb{C}^m$, and a finite set of points $z_1,\ldots, z_n\in Ω$ and $w_1,\ldots, w_n\in \mathbb{D}$ (the open unit disc in the complex plane), the $Pick\, interpolation\, problem$ asks when there is a holomorphic function $f:Ω\rightarrow \overline{\mathbb{D}}$ such that $f(z_i)=w_i,1\leq i\leq n$. Schur-Agler class rational inner functions on the tridisk

We prove two results with regard to rational inner functions in the Schur-Agler class of the tridisk. Stable symmetric polynomials and the Schur-Agler class

We call a multivariable polynomial an Agler denominator if it is the denominator of a rational inner function in the Schur-Agler class, an important subclass of the bounded analytic functions on the polydisk. We give a necessary and sufficient condition for a multi-affine, symmetric, and stable polynomial to be an Agler denominator and prove several consequences. The main aim of this paper is to establish the connection between well-known criteria for the pseudocontinuability of a non-inner Schur function Theta in the unit disk. Kummert's approach to realization on the bidisk

We give a simplified exposition of Kummert's approach to proving that every matrix-valued rational inner function in two variables has a minimal unitary transfer function realization. On linear fractional transformations associated with generalized J-inner matrix functions

In this paper we study generalized J-inner matrix valued functions which appear as resolvent matrices in various indefinite interpolation problems. Reproducing kernel indefinite inner product spaces associated with a generalized J-inner matrix valued function W are studied and intensively used in the description of the range of the linear fractional transformation associated with W and applied to the Schur class. For a subclass of generalized J-inner matrix valued function W the notion of associated pair is introduced and factorization formulas for W are found.

Rational Cayley inner Herglotz-Agler functions: positive-kernel decompositions and transfer-function realizations

Analytic continuation of concrete realizations and the McCarthy Champagne conjecture

In this paper, we give formulas that allow one to move between transfer function type realizations of multi-variate Schur, Herglotz and Pick functions, without adding additional singularities except perhaps poles coming from the conformal transformation itself.
