Nano-constriction spin-Hall nano-oscillators (NC-SHNOs) are one of the most promising alternatives among the microwave spintronics devices. They can provide highly coherent and widely tuneable microwave signals and can be fabricated at low temperatures, which makes them compatible with back-end-of-the-line CMOS processing. For its applications, the frequency stability of each device is crucial, in particular for synchronization of oscillator arrays. In this work, we focus on the influence of a realistic grain structure on the SHNO frequency stability using both measurements as well as micromagnetic simulations. Grains in the thin ferromagnetic metal films can influence the output characteristic of the SHNO since the exchange coupling is reduced locally at the grain boundaries. This work provides a novel micromagnetic simulation method, for systematic investigation of frequency instability or variability from device-to-device. Experimentally, a device-to-device frequency variability of ~270 MHz was found and in some extreme cases, a double-mode oscillation was observed in the high current operation range. This oscillation behavior was reproduced in simulations, where the inclusion of grains resulted in a frequency variability of ~100 MHz and double-mode oscillations for some particular configurations. The double modes are consistent with a partial decoupling, or non-coherent operation, of two oscillating regions located at the nano-constriction edges.
Graphene/carbon-nanotube (CNT) hybrid material can be useful in energy storage and nanoelectronic technologies. Here we address the CNT-oscillator encapsulated in a graphene-nanoribbon (GNR) trench as a novel design, and investigate its properties via classical molecular dynamics simulations. Since the energy barrier was very low while the CNT was encapsulated in the GNR trench, the CNT absorbed on the GNR surface could easily be encapsulated in the GNR trench. MD simulations showed that the CNT oscillator encapsulated in a GNR trench is compatible with simple CNT oscillators, so we anticipate…
Skyrmion-based spin torque nano-oscillators are potential next-generation microwave signal generators. However, ferromagnetic skyrmion-based spin torque nano-oscillators cannot reach high oscillation frequencies. In this work, we propose to use the circular motion of an antiferromagnetic skyrmion to create the oscillation signal in order to overcome this obstacle. Micromagnetic simulations demonstrate that the antiferromagnetic skyrmion-based spin torque nano-oscillators can produce high frequencies (tens of GHz). Furthermore, the speed of the circular motion for an antiferromagnetic skyrmion …
Based on theoretical models, the dynamics of spin-torque nano-oscillators can be substantially modified by re-injecting the emitted signal to the input of the oscillator after some delay. Numerical simulations for vortex magnetic tunnel junctions show that with reasonable parameters this approach can decrease critical currents as much as 25 % and linewidths by a factor of 4. Analytical calculations, which agree well with simulations, demonstrate that these results can be generalized to any kind of spin-torque oscillator.
We experimentally study spin-Hall nano-oscillators based on [Co/Ni] multilayers with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy. We show that these devices are capable of single-frequency auto-oscillations at current densities comparable to those in the in-plane magnetized oscillators. The demonstrated oscillators exhibit large magnetization precession amplitudes, and their oscillation frequency is highly tunable by the electric current. These features make them promising for applications in high-speed integrated microwave circuits.
A nanomechanical resonator coupled to a tunnel junction is studied. The oscillator modulates the transmission of the junction, changing the current and the noise spectrum. The influence of the oscillator on the noise spectrum of the junction is investigated, and the noise spectrum is obtained for arbitrary frequencies, temperatures and bias voltages. We find that the noise spectrum consists of a noise floor and a peaked structure with peaks at zero frequency, the oscillator frequency and twice the oscillator frequency. The influence of the oscillator vanishes if the bias voltage of the junctio…
Phase coupling between auto-oscillators is central for achieving coherent responses such as synchronization. Here we present an experimental approach to probe it in the case of two dipolarly coupled spin-torque vortex nano-oscillators using an external microwave field. By phase-locking one oscillator to the microwave field, we observe frequency pulling on the second oscillator. From coupled Thiele equations we show analytically that this frequency pulling results from concerted actions of dipolar and microwave couplings. The analysis allows us to determine the amplitude of dipolar coupling and…
In this paper, we propose to control the strength of phase-locking between two dipolarly coupled vortex based spin-torque nano-oscillators by placing an intermediate oscillator between them. We show through micromagnetic simulations that the strength of phase-locking can be largely tuned by a slight variation of current in the intermediate oscillator. We develop simplified numerical simulations based on analytical expressions of the vortex core trajectories that will be useful for investigating large arrays of densely packed spin-torque oscillators interacting through their stray fields.
Manipulating operation states of coupled spin-torque nano-oscillators (STNOs), including their synchronization, is essential for applications such as complex oscillator networks. In this work we experimentally demonstrate selective control of two coupled vortex STNOs through microwave-assisted switching of their vortex core polarities. First, the two oscillators are shown to synchronize due to dipolar interaction in a broad frequency range tuned by external biasing field. Coherent output is demonstrated along with strong linewidth reduction. Then, we show individual vortex polarity control of …
Nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMs) hold promise for a number of scientific and technological applications. In particular, NEMs oscillators have been proposed for use in ultrasensitive mass detection, radio-frequency signal processing, and as a model system for exploring quantum phenomena in macroscopic systems. Perhaps the ultimate material for these applications is a carbon nanotube. They are the stiffest material known, have low density, ultrasmall cross-sections and can be defect-free. Equally important, a nanotube can act as a transistor and thus may be able to sense its own motion. In s…
Using micromagnetic simulation, we investigate the self-sustained oscillation of magnetic skyrmion in a ferromagnetic circular nanodot, driven by spin-torque which is generated from a reference layer of a circular nanopillar device. We demonstrate, by lowering the value of uniaxial anisotropy constant ($K_u$), the velocity of the skyrmion can be increased and using this property, gyration frequency of the skyrmion oscillator can be enhanced. Annihilation of the skyrmion at higher current densities, limit the gyration frequency of the oscillator, whereas by modifying the $K_u$ value at the edge…

Due to their nonlinear properties, spin transfer nano-oscillators can easily adapt their frequency to external stimuli. This makes them interesting model systems to study the effects of synchronization and brings some opportunities to improve their microwave characteristics in view of their applications in information and communication technologies and to design innovative computing architectures. So far, mutual synchronization of spin transfer nano-oscillators through propagating spin-waves and exchange coupling in a common magnetic layer has been demonstrated. Here we show that the dipolar i…
Spin Hall nano-oscillators (SHNOs) are promising candidates for new microwave oscillators with high durability due to a small driving current. However, conventional SHNOs with an in-plane precession (IPP) mode require a bias field for stable oscillations which is not favored in certain applications such as neuromorphic computing. Here, we propose and theoretically analyze a bias-field-free SHNO with an in-plane hard axis and an out-of-plane precession (OPP) mode by solving the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert (LLG) equation analytically and numerically. We derive formulas for driving currents and prece…

Spin torque from spin current applied to a nanoscale region of a ferromagnet can act as negative magnetic damping and thereby excite self-oscillations of its magnetization. In contrast, spin torque uniformly applied to the magnetization of an extended ferromagnetic film does not generate self-oscillatory magnetic dynamics but leads to reduction of the saturation magnetization. Here we report studies of the effect of spin torque on a system of intermediate dimensionality - a ferromagnetic nanowire. We observe coherent self-oscillations of magnetization in a ferromagnetic nanowire serving as the…
The development of spintronic oscillators is driven by their potential applications in radio frequency telecommunication and neuromorphic computing. In this work, we propose a spintronic oscillator based on the chiral coupling in thin magnetic films with patterned anisotropy. With an in-plane magnetized disk imprinted on an out-of-plane magnetized slab, the oscillator takes a polar vortex-like magnetic structure in the disk stabilized by a strong Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction. By means of micromagnetic simulations, we investigate its oscillatory properties under applied spin current and, b…
This Habilitation Thesis written in 2013 reviews my research work on spin torque nano-oscillators (from zero-field oscillations, to synchronization and vortex oscillators) and memristive devices (spin Torque and ferroelectric memristors).
Two-mode model of spin-torque nano-oscillator (STNO) under the action of thermal noise is considered. Langevin equations for mode amplitudes were derived starting from general nonlinear oscillator model. Stationary probability distribution function describing mean mode generation powers was obtained using Fokker-Planck equation. It was shown that thermal noise can lead to two-mode generation in STNO. An increase of thermal noise power leads to excitation of the second mode in a system and to a two-mode generation regime through intermediate state when two modes coexist only in some range of th…
Here we investigate high frequency AC transport through narrow graphene nanoribbons with topgate potentials that form a localized quantum dot. We show that as a consequence of the finite dwell time of an electron inside the quantum dot (QD), the QD behaves like a classical inductor at sufficiently high frequencies ω\gtrsim50 GHz. When the geometric capacitance of the topgate and the quantum capacitance of the nanoribbon are accounted for, the admittance of the device behaves like a classical serial RLC circuit with resonant frequencies ω\sim100-900 GHz and Q-factors greater than 10^{6}. These …
The dynamics of a spin-torque-oscillator (STO) coupled with a nano-magnet through dipole-dipole interaction was studied numerically by using the macrospin model for the application of the STO as a read head sensor of hard disk drives. We found that the current, which is required to induce the oscillation of the free-layer (FL) of the STO, depends strongly on the distance between the FL and the nano-magnet as well as on the relative orientation of the magnetizations between them. To determine the dynamics of the STO it is indispensable to consider the dynamics of the dipole-coupled nano-magnet.…
We study a scheme for electrical detection, using electron spin resonance, of coherent vibrations in a molecular single electron level trapped near a conduction channel. Both equilibrium spin-currents and non-equilibrium spin- and charge currents are investigated. Inelastic side-band anti-resonances corresponding to the vibrational modes appear in the electron spin resonance spectrum.
We are reporting a new type of synchronization, termed dancing synchronization, between two spin-torque nano-oscillators (STNOs) coupled through spin waves. Different from the known synchronizations in which two STNOs are locked with various fixed relative phases, in this new synchronized state two STNOs have the same frequency, but their relative phase varies periodically within the common period, resulting in a dynamic waving pattern. The amplitude of the oscillating relative phase depends on the coupling strength of two STNOs, as well as the driven currents. The dancing synchronization turn…

In this paper, we report the successful experimental realization of AM, FM and digital demodulation with suspended single wall carbon nanotube resonators in the field effect transistor configuration. The crucial role played by the mechanical resonance in demodulation is clearly demonstrated. The FM technique is shown to lead to the suppression of unwanted background signals and the reduction of nois…
We report an approach to improving the performance of spin torque nano-oscillators (STNOs) that utilizes power-dependent negative feedback to achieve a significantly enhanced dynamic damping. In combination with a sufficiently slow variation of frequency with power this can result in a quasi-linear STNO, with very weak non-linear coupling of power and phase fluctuations over a range of bias current and field. An implementation of this approach that utilizes a non-uniform spin-torque demonstrates that highly coherent room temperature STNOs can be achieved while retaining a significant tunabilit…
The effect of homogeneous electric field on the energy spectrum, wave functions of electron and oscillator strengths of intra-band quantum transitions in a double cylindrical quantum ring (GaAs/Al$_{x}$Ga$_{1-x}$As) is studied within the approximations of effective mass and rectangular potentials. The calculations are performed using the method of expansion of quasiparticle wave function over a complete set of cylindrical wave functions obtained as exact solutions of Schrödinger equation for an electron in a nanostructure without electric field. It is shown that the electric field essentially …
We experimentally demonstrate that both quasi-linear and nonlinear self-localized bullet modes of magnetization auto-oscillation can be excited by dc current in the nano-gap spin Hall nano-oscillator, by utilizing the geometry with an extended gap. The quasi-linear mode is stable at low driving currents, while the bullet mode is additionally excited at larger currents, and becomes increasingly dominant with increasing current. Time-resolved measurements show that the formation of the bullet mode is delayed relative to the quasi-linear mode by up to 100 nanoseconds, demonstrating that the mecha…
Spin torque nano-oscillator has been extensively studied both theoretically and experimentally in recent decades due to its potential applications in future microwave communication technology and neuromorphic computing. In this work, we present a skyrmion-based spin torque nano-oscillator driven by a spatially uniform direct current, where the skyrmion is confined by two pinning sites. Different from other skyrmion-based oscillators that arise from the circular motion or the breathing mode of a skyrmion, the steady-state oscillatory motions are produced by the periodic deformation of an elonga…
We investigate analytically and numerically the synchronization dynamics of dipolarly coupled vortex based Spin-Torque Nano Oscillators (STNO) with different pillar diameters. We identify the critical interpillar distances on which synchronization occurs as a function of their diameter mismatch. We obtain numerically a phase diagram showing the transition between unsynchronized and synchronized states and compare it to analytical predictions we make using Thiele approach. Our study demonstrates that for relatively small diameters differences the synchronization dynamics can be described qualit…
In this article we demonstrate the injection locking of recently demonstrated spintronic feedback nano oscillator to microwave magnetic fields at integers as well fractional multiples of its auto oscillation frequency. Feedback oscillators have delay as a new degree of freedom which is absent for spin-transfer torque based oscillators, which gives rise to side peaks along with a main peak. We show that it is also possible to lock the oscillator on its side band peaks, which opens a new avenue to phase locked oscillators with large frequency differences. We observe that for low driving fields, …
We describe the dynamics of an antiferromagnetic nano-oscillator in an external magnetic field of any given time distribution. The oscillator is powered by a spin current originating from spin-orbit effects in a neighboring heavy metal layer, and is capable of emitting a THz signal in the presence of an additional easy-plane anisotropy. We derive an analytical formula describing the interaction between such a system and an external field, which can affect the output signal character. Interactions with magnetic pulses of different shapes, with a sinusoidal magnetic field and with a sequence of …
Spin torque and spin Hall effect nanooscillators generate high intensity spin wave auto oscillations on the nanoscale enabling novel microwave applications in spintronics, magnonics, and neuromorphic computing. For their operation, these devices require externally generated spin currents either from an additional ferromagnetic layer or a material with a high spin Hall angle. Here we demonstrate highly coherent field and current tunable microwave signals from nanoconstrictions in single 15 and 20 nm thick permalloy layers. Using a combination of spin torque ferromagnetic resonance measurements,…
We investigate experimentally and analytically the impact of thermal noise on the sustained gyrotropic mode of vortex magnetization in spin transfer nano-oscillators and its consequence on the linewidth broadening due to the different nonlinear contributions. Performing some time domain measurements, we are able to extract separately the phase noise and the amplitude noise at room temperature for several values of dc current and perpendicular field. For a theoretical description of the experiments, we extend the general model of nonlinear auto-oscillators to the case of vortex core dynamics an…
We experimentally study the dynamical modes excited by spin current in Spin Hall nano-oscillators based on the Pt/[Co/Ni] multilayers with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy. Both propagating spin wave and localized solitonic modes of the oscillation are achieved and controlled by varying the applied magnetic field and current. At room temperature, the generation linewidth broadening associated with mode hopping was observed at currents close to the transition between different modes and in the mode coexistence regimes. The mode hopping was suppressed at cryogenic temperatures, confirming that …
A model for a spin-torque nano-oscillator based on the self-sustained oscillation of a magnetic skyrmion is presented. The system involves a circular nanopillar geometry comprising an ultrathin film free magnetic layer with a strong Dzyaloshinkii-Moriya interaction and a polariser layer with a vortex-like spin configuration. It is shown that spin-transfer torques due to current flow perpendicular to the film plane leads to skyrmion gyration that arises from a competition between geometric confinement due to boundary edges and the vortex-like polarisation of the spin torques. A phenomenology fo…
We report on a theoretical study about the magneto-dipolar coupling and synchronization between two vortex-based spin-torque nano-oscillators. In this work we study the dependence of the coupling efficiency on the relative magnetization parameters of the vortices in the system. For that purpose, we combine micromagnetic simulations, Thiele equation approach, and analytical macro-dipole approximation model to identify the optimized configuration for achieving phase-locking between neighboring oscillators. Notably, we compare vortices configurations with parallel (P) polarities and with opposite…
We propose two schemes to establish entanglement between two mesoscopic quantum systems through a third mesoscopic quantum system. The first scheme entangles two nano-mechanical oscillators in a non-Gaussian entangled state through a Cooper pair box. Entanglement detection of the nano-mechanical oscillators is equivalent to a teleportation experiment in a mesoscopic setting. The second scheme can entangle two Cooper pair box qubits through a nano-mechanical oscillator in a thermal state without using measurements in the presence of arbitrarily strong decoherence.
Spin-torque nano-oscillators (STNO) are microwave auto-oscillators based on magnetic resonances having a nonlinear response with the oscillating amplitude, which provides them with a large frequency tunability including the possibility of mutual synchronization. The magnetization dynamics in STNO are induced by spin transfer torque (STT) from spin currents and can be detected by changes in electrical resistance due to giant magnetoresistance or tunneling magnetoresistance. The STT effect is usually treated as a damping-like term that reduces magnetic dissipation and promotes excitation of magn…
We demonstrate a viable approach to fabricating ultrafast axial nano-oscillators based on carbon nanoscrolls (CNSs) using molecular dynamics simulations. Initiated by a single-walled carbon nanotube (CNT), a monolayer graphene can continuously scroll into a CNS with the CNT housed inside. The CNT inside the CNS can oscillate along axial direction at a natural frequency of 10s gigahertz (GHz). We demonstrate an effective strategy to reduce the dissipation of the CNS-based nano-oscillator by covalently bridging the carbon layers in the CNS. We further demonstrate that, such a CNS-based nano-osci…
We describe and demonstrate a new oscillator topology, the parametric feedback oscillator (PFO). The PFO paradigm is applicable to a wide variety of nanoscale devices, and opens the possibility of new classes of oscillators employing innovative frequency-determining elements, like such as nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS), facilitating integration with circuitry, and reduction in cost and system size reduction. We show that the PFO topology can also improve nanoscale oscillator performance by circumventing detrimental effects that are otherwise imposed by the strong device nonlinearity in t…
The behavior of a nanodevice based upon double-walled carbon nanotube oscillators driven by periodically applied thermal gradients (7 and 17 K/nm) is investigated by numerical calculations and classical molecular dynamics simulations. Our results indicate that thermophoresis can be effective to initiate the oscillator and that suitable heat pulses may provide an appropriate way to tune its behavior. Sustained regular oscillatory as well as chaotic motions were observed for the systems investigated in this work.

In this comment, we agree with the formulas derived in Refs. [1,2] but show that the results are not due to "interference between spatially separated states of the center of mass of a mesoscopic harmonic oscillator".
A single Nitrogen Vacancy (NV) center hosted in a diamond nanocrystal is positioned at the extremity of a SiC nanowire. This novel hybrid system couples the degrees of freedom of two radically different systems, i.e. a nanomechanical oscillator and a single quantum object. The dynamics of the nano-resonator is probed through time resolved nanocrystal fluorescence and photon correlation measurements, conveying the influence of a mechanical degree of freedom given to a non-classical photon emitter. Moreover, by immersing the system in a strong magnetic field gradient, we induce a magnetic coupli…
In this work, we develop a nanoscale magnetic field sensor based on a spin-Hall nano-oscillator (SHNO) device. We fabricate constriction-based SHNO devices using Ni$_{81}$Fe$_{19}$/Au$_{0.25}$Pt$_{0.75}$ bilayer and use them to demonstrate quasi-DC sensing up to kilohertz-scale frequencies under a bias field of 400 Oe in the sample plane. The magnetic field sensing is based on the linear dependence of SHNO oscillation frequency on external magnetic field. The detectivity of the sensor is as low as 0.21 $μ$T/$\sqrt{\mbox{Hz}}$ at 100 Hz, with an effective sensing area of 0.32 $μ$m$^2$, making S…
This letter studies the dynamical behavior of spin-Hall nanoscillators from a micromagnetic point of view. The model parameters have been identified by reproducing recent experimental data quantitatively. Our results indicate that a strongly localized mode is observed for in-plane bias fields such as in the experiments, while predict the excitation of an asymmetric propagating mode for large enough out-of plane bias field similarly to what observed in spin-torque nanocontact oscillators. Our findings show that spin-Hall nanoscillators can find application as spin-wave emitters for magnonic app…
Based on the van der Waals interaction, the periodically nonlinear potential of a singe-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) with finite length in an infinite length SWNT is analytically obtained. It is found that the inner SWNT can oscillate in the outer SWNT with frequency beyond ten Gigahertz, even up to a hundred Gigahertz.
A theoretical study of delayed feedback in spin-torque nano-oscillators is presented. A macrospin geometry is considered, where self-sustained oscillations are made possible by spin transfer torques associated with spin currents flowing perpendicular to the film plane. By tuning the delay and amplification of the self-injected signal, we identify dynamical regimes in this system such as chaos, switching between precession modes with complex transients, and oscillator death. Such delayed feedback schemes open up a new field of exploration for such oscillators, where the complex transient states…
Nano-mechanical resonators have a large potential as sensors of very small adsorbed masses, down to the atomic level and beyond. Here I establish the fundamental lower bound on the mass that can be measured with a nano-mechanical oscillator in a given quantum state based on the quantum Cramér--Rao bound, limited only by the laws of quantum mechanics, and identify the quantum states which will allow the largest sensitivity for a given maximum energy.
Arrays of spin-torque nano-oscillators are promising for broadband microwave signal detection and processing, as well as for neuromorphic computing. In many of these applications, the oscillators should be engineered to have equally-spaced frequencies and equal sensitivity to microwave inputs. Here we design spin-torque nano-oscillator arrays with these rules and estimate their optimum size for a given sensitivity, as well as the frequency range that they cover. For this purpose, we explore analytically and numerically conditions to obtain vortex spin-torque nano-oscillators with equally-space…
We report the observation of discrete displacement of nanomechanical oscillators with gigahertz-range resonance frequencies at millikelvin temperatures. The oscillators are nanomachined single-crystal structures of silicon, designed to provide two distinct sets of coupled elements with very low and very high frequencies. With this novel design, femtometer-level displacement of the frequency-determining element is amplified into collective motion of the entire micron-sized structure. The observed discrete response possibly results from energy quantization at the onset of the quantum regime in t…
We demonstrate that the synchronization of an array of electrically coupled spin torque nano-oscillators (STNO) modelled by Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert-Slonczewski (LLGS) equation can be enhanced appreciably in the presence of a common external microwave magnetic field. The applied microwave magnetic field stabilizes and enhances the regions of synchronization in the parameter space of our analysis, where the oscillators are exhibiting synchronized oscillations thereby emitting improved microwave power. To characterize the synchronized oscillations we have calculated the locking range in the domai…
Spin Hall nano-oscillators (SHNOs) utilize pure spin currents to drive local regions of magnetic films and nanostructures into auto-oscillating precession. If such regions are placed in close proximity to each other they can interact and sometimes mutually synchronize, in pairs or in short linear chains. Here we demonstrate robust mutual synchronization of two-dimensional SHNO arrays ranging from 2 x 2 to 8 x 8 nano-constrictions, observed both electrically and using micro-Brillouin Light Scattering microscopy. The signal quality factor, $Q=f/Δf$, increases linearly with number of mutually syn…
In contrast to the well-known phenomenon of frequency stabilization in a synchronized noisy nonlinear oscillator, little is known about its amplitude stability. In this paper, we investigate experimentally and theoretically the amplitude evolution and stability of a nonlinear nanomechanical self-sustained oscillator that is synchronized with an external harmonic drive. We show that the phase difference between the tones plays a critical role on the amplitude level, and we demonstrate that in the strongly nonlinear regime, its amplitude fluctuations are reduced considerably. These findings brin…
The equivalence between different physical systems permits us to transfer knowledge between them and to characterize the universal nature of their dynamics. We demonstrate that a nanopillar driven by a spin-transfer torque is equivalent to a rotating magnetic plate, which permits us to consider the nanopillar as a macroscopic system under a time-modulated injection of energy, that is, a simple parametric resonator. This equivalence allows us to characterize the phases diagram and to predict magnetic states and dynamical behaviors, such as solitons, stationary textures, and oscillatory localize…
In the absence of an applied magnetic field, a spin-torque nano oscillator(STNO) with a tilted polarizer is studied using numerical simulation of the associated Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert-Slonczewski equation. We find considerable enhancement of frequency by tilting the polarizer out-of-plane appropriately. Also, we observe improved tunability of frequency of oscillations from 15 GHz to 75 GHz and increment in the power spectral density by current and tilt angle. In addition, our findings and insights pave a simple way for nanoscale level microwave generators to be implemented.
Spin-orbit torque nano-oscillators based on bilayers of ferromagnetic (FM) and nonmagnetic (NM) metals are ultra-compact current-controlled microwave signal sources. They serve as a convenient testbed for studies of spin-orbit torque physics and are attractive for practical applications such as microwave assisted magnetic recording, neuromorphic computing, and chip-to-chip wireless communications. However, a major drawback of these devices is low output microwave power arising from the relatively small anisotropic magnetoresistance (AMR) of the FM layer. Here we experimentally show that the ou…
