We investigate scenarios with $\mathcal{O}(1\mathrm{\,TeV})$ scalar leptoquarks that act as portals between the Standard Model and Dark Matter. We assume that Dark Matter is a scalar singlet $S$ which couples to a scalar leptoquark $Δ$ and the Higgs boson via the terms in the scalar potential. In addition, the leptoquark is endowed with Yukawa couplings to quarks and leptons that may address the anomalies in $B$ meson decays. We consider the $SS$ annihilation cross sections to estimate the Dark Matter relic abundance and explore the interplay between astrophysical, collider and flavour physics bounds on such models. In the heavy Dark Matter window, $m_S > m_Δ$, the leptoquark portal becomes the dominant mechanism to explain the Dark Matter abundance. We find that the leptoquark Yukawa couplings, relevant for quark and lepton flavour physics, are decoupled from the dark matter phenomenology. By focussing on a scenario with a single leptoquark state, we find that relic density can only be explained when both $Δ$ and $S$ masses are lighter than $\mathcal{O}(10\mathrm{\,TeV})$.
In addition to the long-standing anomalies seen in the muon $g-2$, $R_{K^{(*)}}$, and $R_{D^{(*)}}$ observables by various independent experiments, the CDF Collaboration has found another significant one in the $W$-boson mass. These anomalies might be intertwined at a fundamental level and have a single new-physics explanation. In this paper, we present a simultaneous solution to these anomalies with two scalar leptoquarks of roughly equal mass -- one weak-singlet $S_1$ and the other a weak-triplet $S_3$ -- which mix through a Higgs portal. The solution has only a few new couplings and TeV-sca…
At the LHC, the gluon-initiated processes are considered to be the primary source of di-Higgs production. However, in the presence of a new resonance, the light-quark initiated processes can also contribute significantly. In this paper, we look at the di-Higgs production mediated by a new singlet scalar. The singlet is produced in both quark-antiquark and gluon fusion processes through loops involving a scalar leptoquark and right-handed neutrinos. With benchmark parameters inspired from the recent resonant di-Higgs searches by the ATLAS collaboration, we examine the prospects of such a resona…
The deviations of $B$-meson decays measured in $R_{D^{(*)}}^{τ\ell}$ and $R_{K^{(*)}}^{μe}$ can be explained by the presence of two scalar leptoquarks, a singlet $S_1$ and a triplet $S_3$, mostly coupled to the third generation. We consider a theory of resonances, as an effective description of a strongly interacting theory, that generates the leptoquarks and the Higgs as Nambu-Goldstone bosons, with the rest of the resonances at a scale of order $10-30\ {\rm TeV}$. We assume anarchic partial compositeness for the flavor of the SM fermions. Under these hypothesis we study whether it is possibl…
While the hunt for new states beyond the standard model (SM) goes on for various well motivated theories, the leptoquarks are among the most appealing scenarios at recent times due to a series of tensions observed in $B$-meson decays. We consider $SU(2)$ singlet and triplet scalar leptoquarks separately, which contribute to charged and neutral current $B$-meson decays. Focusing on the single production of these two scalar leptoquarks, we perform a PYTHIA-based simulation considering all the dominant SM backgrounds at the current and future setups of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The mono-$b…
We study the phenomenology of a particular leptoquark extension of the Standard Model (SM), namely the doublet-singlet scalar leptoquark extension of the SM (DSL-SM). Besides generating Majorana mass for neutrinos, these leptoquarks contribute to muon and electron $(g-2)$ and various lepton flavour violating processes. Collider signatures of the benchmark points (BPs), consistent with the neutrino oscillation data, anomalous muon/electron magnetic moments, experimental bounds on the charged lepton flavour violation observables, etc., are studied at the LHC/FCC with centre-of-mass energies of 1…
The Standard Model is extended by a SU(2)L singlet of vector leptoquarks. An additional SU(4) gauge symmetry between right-handed up quarks and right-handed leptons is introduced to render the model renormalizable. The arrangement is made in such a way that no conflict with low energy restrictions is encountered. The SU(2)L singlet mediates interactions between the right-handed leptons and up type quarks for which only moderate low energy restrictions M(LQ)/g(LQ) > few hundred GeV exist. We cancel the anomalies of the model and furthermore argue that the inequality g(LQ) > g(QCD) is a general …

Motivated by the disagreement between experimental and lattice QCD results on the D_s decay constant we systematically reinvestigate role of leptoquarks in charm meson decays. We consider scalar leptoquarks that transform as a weak interaction triplet, doublet, or singlet in a model independent approach, and also argue that in a particular SU(5) GUT model these leptoquark states, contained in the 45-dimensional Higgs representation, could be safe against proton decay bounds. Using the current experimental measurements in tau, kaon and charm sectors, we find that scalar leptoquarks cannot natur…
We derive bounds on vector leptoquarks coupling to the first generation, using data from low energy experiments as well as from high energy accelerators. Similarly to the case of scalar leptoquarks, we find that the strongest indirect bounds arise from atomic parity violation and universality in leptonic pi decays. These bounds are considerably stronger than the first direct bounds of HERA, restricting vector leptoquarks that couple with electromagnetic strength to right-handed quarks to lie above 430 GeV or 460 GeV, and leptoquarks that couple with electromagnetic strength to left-handed quar…
In recent years, experiments revealed intriguing hints for new physics (NP) in semi-leptonic $B$ decays. Both in charged current processes, involving $b \to c τν$ transitions, and in the neutral currents $b\to s\ell^+\ell^-$, a preference for NP compared to the standard model (SM) of more that $3σ$ and $5σ$ was found, respectively. In addition, there is the long-standing tension between the theory prediction and the measurement of the anomalous magnetic moment (AMM) of the muon ($a_μ$) of more than $3σ$. Since all these observables are related to the violation of lepton flavor universality (LF…

We extend the contents of the standard model (SM) by introducing TeV-scale scalar leptoquarks to generate neutrino masses and explain some current observed deviations from the SM predictions, including the anomalous magnetic moments of charged leptons (electron and muon) and $B$-physics anomalies ($R_{K^{(*)}}$ and $R_{D^{(*)}}$). The model consists of $\text{SU}(2)_L$ singlet leptoquark $S_1\sim (\bar{3}, 1, 1/3)$, doublet leptoquark $\tilde{R}_2\sim (3, 2, 1/6)$ and triplet leptoquark $S_3\sim (\bar{3}, 3, 1/3)$. We combine the constraints arising from the low-energy lepton flavor violation,…
In this study, we investigate muon $g-2$, $R_{K^{(*)}}$, and $R_{D^{(*)}}$ anomalies in a specific model with one doublet, one triplet, and one singlet scalar leptoquark (LQ). When the strict limits from the $\ell' \to \ell γ$, $ΔB=2$, $B_{s}\to μ^+ μ^-$, and $B^+ \to K^+ ν\barν$ processes are considered, it is difficult to use one scalar LQ to explain all of the anomalies due to the strong correlations among the constraints and observables. After ignoring the constraints and small couplings, the muon $g-2$ can be explained by the doublet LQ alone due to the $m_t$ enhancement, whereas the meas…
We entertain the option of scalar leptoquarks to explain the anomalies in the semi-leptonic decays of $B$-mesons and the discrepancies in the lepton $(g-2)_l$'s including the recent results at Fermilab E989. The $R_{K^{(*)}}$ and $R_{D^{(*)}}$ anomalies can be accommodated by the specific couplings for triplet and singlet leptoquarks, respectively, subject to the bounds from $B\to Kν{\barν}$. We discuss the correlation between the leptonic signatures from leptoquarks such as $μ\to eγ$ and the electric dipole moment of electron and show that desirable neutrino masses can be generated dominantly…
Very recently the LHCb experiment released the first measurement of the ratio $R(Λ_c) = {\rm BR}(Λ_b \to Λ_cτ\barν_τ)/{\rm BR}(Λ_b \to Λ_cμ\barν_μ)$. Moreover, the BABAR experiment reported a new result of the leptonic decay ratio of Upsilon meson $Υ(3S)$, namely, $R_{Υ(3S)} = {\rm BR}(Υ(3S) \to τ^+τ^-)/{\rm BR}(Υ(3S) \to μ^+μ^-)$. Both measurements are below their corresponding Standard Model predictions (deficit), deviating by $\sim 1.1σ$ and $\sim 1.8σ$, respectively. Moreover, the LHCb recently presented the first search of the lepton flavor violating decay $B^0 \to K^{\ast 0}μ^\pmτ^\mp$. …
We study the phenomenological constraints and consequences in the flavor sector, of introducing a new fourth generation $\mathcal{Z}_{2}$ odd vector-like lepton doublet along with a Standard Model (SM) singlet scalar and an $SU(2)_{L}$ singlet scalar leptoquark carrying electromagnetic charge of $+2/3$, both odd under a $\mathcal{Z}_{2}$. We show that with little fine tuning among the various Yukawa couplings in the new physics (NP) Lagrangian along with the CKM parameters, the model is able to push the theoretical value of $R(D^{*})^{th}$ from $0.252 \pm 0.003$ to $0.263 \pm 0.051$ and $R(D)^…
We consider the extension of the Standard Model with scalar leptoquarks as a portal to dark matter (DM), motivated by the recent anomalies in semi-leptonic $B$-meson decays. Taking singlet and triplet scalar leptoquarks as the best scenarios for explaining $B$-meson anomalies, we discuss the phenomenological constraints from rare meson decays, muon $(g-2)_μ$, and leptoquark searches at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Introducing leptoquark couplings to scalar dark matter, we find that the DM annihilations into a pair of leptoquarks open a wide parameter space, being compatible with XENON1T bo…
In this work we study possible connections between $B$-meson anomalies and Kaon physics observables in the context of combined solutions with the singlet and triplet scalar leptoquarks $S_1$ and $S_3$. By assuming a flavor structure for the leptoquark couplings dictated by a minimally broken $U(2)^5$ flavor symmetry we can make a sharp connection between these two classes of observables. We find that the bound on $\mathcal{B}(K^+ \rightarrow π^+ νν)$ from NA62 puts already some tension in the model, while the present limits on $\mathcal{B}(K_L \rightarrow μ^+ μ^-)$ and $μ\to e$ conversion in n…
We consider an extension of the Standard Model (SM) augmented by two neutral singlet fermions per generation and a leptoquark. In order to generate the light neutrino masses and mixing, we incorporate inverse seesaw mechanism. The right handed neutrino production in this model is significantly larger than the conventional inverse seesaw scenario. We analyze the different collider signatures of this model and find that the final states associated with three or more leptons, multi jet and at least one b-tagged and (or) $τ$-tagged jet can probe larger RH neutrino mass scale. We have also proposed…
We study a classically accidental scale-invariant extension of the Standard Model (SM) containing three additional fields, a vector leptoquark ($ V_μ $), a real scalar ($ ϕ$), and a neutral Majorana fermion ($ χ$) as a dark matter (DM) candidate. The scalar $ ϕ$ (scalon) and Majorana fermion $ χ$ are both singlets under the SM gauge group, while $ V_μ $ has (\textbf{3}, \textbf{1}, 2/3) quantum numbers under the $ SU(3)_{c} \times SU(2)_{L} \times U(1)_{Y} $. The Majorana DM couples to the SM sector via both Higgs and leptoquark portals. We perform a scan over the independent parameters to det…
In this study we present a universal effective action for one-loop matching of all scalar leptoquarks. We use both the Universal One-Loop Effective Action (UOLEA) and covariant diagrams to evaluate the Wilson coefficients directly in the Green basis for up-to dimension-6 operators. On the technical side, we use the newly developed method of evaluating supertraces, to further validate the results stemming from the use of covariant diagrams. As an application, we perform a fully functional matching onto Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) of a model with two scalar leptoquark fields: a…
Despite the immense success of the Standard Model, the hunt for physics beyond the Standard Model has continued. Extension of the SM gauge group or the particle content of the SM remains a viable solution to many observed anomalies, such as the anomalous magnetic moment of muon, flavor violation, dark matter, etc. In this work, we consider a BSM model which includes a leptoquark, a vector-like lepton, and a real scalar singlet. The model accounts for a dark matter candidate through a $\mathbb{Z}_2$ symmetry in addition to predicting the muon $(g-2)$ in agreement with the experimental measureme…
We examine various scenarios that involve a light ${\cal O}(1 TeV)$ leptoquark state and select those which are compatible with the current experimental values for $\mathcal{B}(B_s\to μμ)$, $\mathcal{B}(B\to Kμμ)_{\mathrm{large}-q^2}$, $R_K=\mathcal{B^\prime}(B\to Kμμ)/\mathcal{B^\prime}(B\to Kee)$, and which lead to predictions consistent with other experimental data. We show that two such scenarios are phenomenologically plausible, namely the one with a doublet of scalar leptoquarks of hypercharge $1/6$, and the one with a triplet of vector leptoquarks of hypercharge $2/3$. We also argue tha…
We make a comprehensive study of vector-like fermionic dark matter and flavor anomalies in a simple extension of standard model. The model is added with doublet vector-like fermions of quark and lepton types, and also a $S_1(\bar{\textbf{3}},\textbf{1},1/3)$ scalar leptoquark. An additional lepton type singlet fermion is included, whose admixture with vector-like lepton doublet plays the role of dark matter and is examined in relic density and direct detection perspective. Electroweak precision observables are computed to put constraint on model parameter space. We constrain the new couplings …
We present a detailed analysis of the collider signatures of TeV-scale massive vector bosons motivated by the hints of lepton flavour non-universality observed in $B$-meson decays. We analyse three representations that necessarily appear together in a large class of ultraviolet-complete models: a colour-singlet ($Z'$), a colour-triplet (the $U_1$ leptoquark), and a colour octet ($G'$). Under general assumptions for the interactions of these exotic states with Standard Model fields, including in particular possible right-handed and flavour off-diagonal couplings for the $U_1$, we derive a serie…
While the $S_3$ scalar leptoquark presents a possible tree-level explanation of the $b \to s \ell \ell$ flavour anomalies, it suffers from two conceptual problems which are often disregarded by model-builders. Firstly, the quantum numbers of the $S_3$ allow for a renormalisable diquark operator that would trigger rapid proton decay unless its coupling were tuned away. Secondly, one expects the leptoquark to have generic couplings to leptons, which require tuning to avoid stringent experimental bounds on lepton flavour violation. By gauging a $U(1)$ current that acts as $L_μ- L_τ$ on the Standa…
Recently, deviations in flavor observables of B -> D(*) tau nu have been shown between the predictions in the Standard Model and the experimental results reported by BaBar, Belle, and LHCb collaborations. One of the solutions to this anomaly is obtained in a class of leptoquark model with a scalar leptoquark boson S_1, which is a SU(3)_c triplet and SU(2)_L singlet particle with -1/3 hypercharge interacting with a quark-lepton pair. With well-adjusted couplings, this model can explain the anomaly and be compatible with all flavor constraints. In such a case, the S_1 boson can be pair-produced …
The Standard Model (SM) is augmented with a $\mathrm{U}(1)_{B-3L_μ} $ gauge symmetry spontaneously broken above the TeV scale when an SM-singlet scalar condenses. Scalar leptoquarks $S_{1(3)} = (\overline{\mathbf{3}},\, \mathbf{1} (\mathbf{3}),\, ^1\!/_3)$ charged under $\mathrm{U}(1)_{B-3L_μ} $ mediate the intriguing effects observed in muon $(g-2)$, $R_{K^{(*)}}$ and $b \to s μ^+ μ^-$, while generically evading all other phenomenological constraints. The fermionic sector is minimally extended with three right-handed neutrinos, and a successful type-I seesaw mechanism is realized. Charged lep…
Evidence for electron-muon universality violation that has been revealed in $b\to s \ell\ell$ transitions in the observables $R_{K,K^*}$ by the LHCb Collaboration can be explained with spin-1 leptoquarks in $SU(2)_L$ singlet $V_1$ or triplet $V_3$ representations in the ${\cal{O}}(1-10)$ TeV range. We explore the sensitivity of the high luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) and future proton-proton colliders to $V_1$ and $V_3$ in the parameter space connected to $R_{K,K^*}$-data. We consider pair production and single production in association with muons in different flavor benchmarks. Reinterpreting a rece…
The present-day $B$-anomalies involving $b \to s μ^+ μ^-$ or $b \to c τ^- {\barν}$ transitions can all be explained with the addition of a vector $U_1$ leptoquark with a mass of $M_{U_1} \ge 1.8$ TeV. In the scalar singlet dark matter model (SSDMM), the DM is a scalar $S$ that couples to the Higgs via $λ_{hS} \, S^2|H|^2$. We update the fit to the data and find that the SSDMM is now viable only for $M_S \ge 1.6$ TeV. In this paper, we assume that the DM also couples to the $U_1$ via $λ_{U_1 S} \, S^2 \, U_{1μ}^{\dagger} U^μ_1$. In addition to leading to DM annihilation via $S S \to U_1 {\bar U…
We argue that the diphoton excess recently reported by ATLAS and CMS can be explained, along with several anomalies seen in the flavor sector, in models where a Standard-Model singlet scalar resonance with mass $M \approx 750$ GeV is produced in gluon fusion via loops containing a scalar color- triplet leptoquark $ϕ$. For a leptoquark mass $M_ϕ\lesssim$ 1 TeV, the production cross section is naturally in the 10 fb range. A large $S \to γγ$ branching ratio can be obtained by coupling the scalar S to new color-singlet fermions $χ$ with electroweak scale masses, which can be part of an $SU(2)_L$ …
A colored weak singlet scalar state with hypercharge 4/3 is one of the possible candidates for the explanation of the unexpectedly large forward-backward asymmetry in t tbar production as measured by the CDF and D0 experiments. We investigate the role of this state in a plethora of flavor changing neutral current processes and precision observables of down-quarks and charged leptons. Our analysis includes tree- and loop-level mediated observables in the K and B systems, the charged lepton sector, as well as the Z to b bbar decay width. We perform a global fit of the relevant scalar couplings. …
During the past few years, hints of Lepton Flavour Universality (LFU) violation have been observed in $b \to c τ\barν$ and $b \to s \ell^+ \ell^-$ transitions. Recently, the $D^*$ and $τ$ polarization fractions $P_L^{D^*}$ and $P_L^τ$ in $B \to D^* τ\barν$ decay have also been measured by the Belle collaboration. Motivated by these intriguing results, we revisit the $R_{D^{(*)}}$ and $R_{K^{(*)}}$ anomalies in a scalar leptoquark (LQ) model, in which two scalar LQs, one being $SU(2)_L$ singlet and the other $SU(2)_L$ triplet, are introduced simultaneously. We consider five $b \to c τ\barν$ med…
The discrepancies between data on rare $b$-hadron decays, controlled by the underlying neutral-current transitions $b\to s\ell^+\ell^- (\ell = e, μ)$, and the corresponding Standard Model predictions constitute one of the most intriguing hints for new physics. Leptoquarks are prime candidates to solve these anomalies and, in particular, the scalar leptoquark, $S_3$, triplet under $SU(2)_L$ with hypercharge $Y=-1/3$, provides a very good fit to data. Here, for the first time, we entertain the possibility that the same scalar leptoquark, responsible for the LFU anomalies, is the portal to a dark…
The Standard Model (SM), when extended with a leptoquark (LQ) and right-handed neutrinos, can have interesting new implications for Higgs physics. We show that sterile neutrinos can induce a boost to the down-type quark Yukawa interactions through a diagonal coupling associated with the quarks and a scalar LQ of electromagnetic charge $1/3$. The relative change is moderately larger in the case of the first two generations of quarks, as they have vanishingly small Yukawa couplings in the SM. The enhancement in the couplings would also lead to a non-negligible contribution from the quark fusion …
Experimental data have provided intriguing hints for the violation of lepton flavour universality (LFU), including $B\to D^{(*)}τν/B\to D^{(*)}\ellν$, the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon and $b\!\to\! s\ell^+\ell^-$ with a significance of $\!>3\,σ$, $>\!4\,σ$ and $>\!5\,σ$, respectively. Furthermore, in a recent re-analysis of 2018 Belle data, it was found that the forward-backward asymmetry ($ΔA_{\rm FB}$) of $B \to D^{*}μ\bar ν$ vs $B\to D^{*}e\bar ν$ disagrees with the SM prediction by $\approx\!\!4\,σ$, providing an additional sign of LFU violation. We show that a tensor operator is …
In this paper we explain the 750 GeV diphoton resonance observed at the run-2 LHC as a scalar singlet $S$, that plays a key rule in generating tiny but nonzero Majorana neutrino masses. The model contains four electroweak singlets: two leptoquarks, a singly charged scalar and a neutral scalar $S$. Majorana neutrino masses might be generated at the two-loop level as $S$ get nonzero vacuum expectation value. $S$ can be produced at the LHC through the gluon fusion and decays into diphoton at the one-loop level with charged scalars running in the loop. The model fits perfectly with a wide width of…
Over the past years, experiments accumulated intriguing hints for new physics (NP) in flavor observables, namely in the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon ($a_μ$), in $R(D^{(*)})={\rm Br}(B\to D^{(*)}τν)/{\rm Br}(B\to D^{(*)}\ellν)$ and in $b\to sμ^+μ^-$ transitions, which are all at the $3-4\,σ$ level. In this article we point out that one can explain the $R(D^{(*)})$ anomaly using two scalar leptoquarks (LQs) with the same mass and coupling to fermions related via a discrete symmetry: an $SU(2)$ singlet and an $SU(2)$ triplet, both with hypercharge $Y=-2/3$. In this way, potentially dange…
The measurements of the ratios $R_{K^{(*)}}$ along with $R_{D^{(*)}}$ hint towards lepton flavor non universality which is in disagreement with the standard model. In this work, we reanalyze the four new physics models, which are widely studied in the literature as a candidates for the simultaneous explanations of these measurements. These are, standard model like vector boson (VB), $SU(2)_L$-singlet vector leptoquark ($U_1$), $SU(2)_L$-triplet scalar leptoquark ($S_3$) and $SU(2)_L$ triplet vector leptoquark ($U_3$) models. We assume a coupling only to the third generation in the weak basis, …
We propose an extension of the standard model of quarks and leptons to include gauge $B-L$ symmetry with an exotic array of neutral fermion singlets for anomaly cancellation. With the addition of suitable scalars also transforming under $U(1)_{B-L}$, this becomes a model of radiative seesaw neutrino mass with possible multipartite dark matter. If leptoquark fermions are added, necessarily also transforming under $B-L$, the diphoton excess at 750 GeV, recently observed at the Large Hadron Collider, may also be explained.
In this letter, we propose an extension of the scotogenic model where singlet Majorana particle can be dark matter (DM) without the need of a highly suppressed scalar coupling of the order $O(10^{-10})$. For that, the SM is extended with three singlet Majorana fermions, an inert scalar doublet, and two (a complex and a real) singlet scalars, with a global $Z_{4}$ symmetry that is spontaneously broken into $Z_{2}$ at a scale higher than the electroweak one by the vev of the complex singlet scalar. In this setup, the smallness of neutrino mass is achieved via the cancellation between three diagr…
We examine new aspects of leptoquark (LQ) phenomenology using effective field theory (EFT). We construct a complete set of leading effective operators involving SU(2) singlets scalar LQ and the SM fields up to dimension six. We show that, while the renormalizable LQ-lepton-quark interaction Lagrangian can address the persistent hints for physics beyond the Standard Model in the B-decays $\bar B \to D^{(*)} τ\barν$, $\bar B \to \bar K \ell^+ \ell^-$ and in the measured anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, the LQ higher dimensional effective operators may lead to new interesting effects associ…
Adding a second scalar doublet (eta^+,eta^0) and three neutral singlet fermions N_{1,2,3} to the Standard Model of particle interactions with a new Z_2 symmetry, it has been shown that eta^0_R or eta^0_I is a good dark-matter candidate and seesaw neutrino masses are generated radiatively. A minimal extension of this new idea is proposed to allow for its SU(5) completion. Supersymmetric unification is then possible, and leptoquarks of a special kind are predicted at the TeV scale.
The appealing feature of inverse seesaw models is that the Standard Model (SM) neutrino mass emerges from the exchange of TeV scale singlets with sizable Yukawa couplings, which can be tested at colliders. However, the tiny Majorana mass splitting between TeV singlets, introduced to accommodate small neutrino masses, is left unexplained. Moreover, we argue that these models suffer from a structural limitation that prevents a successful leptogenesis if one insists on having unsuppressed Yukawa couplings and TeV scale singlets. In this work we propose a hybrid seesaw model, where we replace the …
We extend the colored Zee-Babu model with a gauged $U(1)_{B-L}$ symmetry and a scalar singlet dark matter (DM) candidate $S$. The spontaneous breaking of $U(1)_{B-L}$ leaves a residual $Z_2$ symmetry that stabilizes the DM and generates tiny neutrino mass at the two-loop level with the color seesaw mechanism. After investigating dark matter and flavor phenomenology of this model systematically, we further focus on its imprint on two of cosmic-ray anomalies: the Fermi-LAT gamma-ray excess at the Galactic Center (GCE) and the PeV ultra-high energy (UHE) neutrino events at the IceCube. We found t…
In this talk, we present a minimal viable scenario that unifies the gauge symmetries of the Standard Model (SM) and their breaking sector. Our Gauge-Higgs Grand Unification setup employs 5D warped space with a $SU(6)$ bulk gauge field that includes both a $SU(5)$ grand unified theory (GUT) and a Higgs sector as a scalar component of the 5D vector field, solving the hierarchy problem. By appropriately breaking the gauge symmetry on the boundaries of the extra dimension the issue of light exotic new states, appearing generically in such models, is eliminated and the SM fermion spectrum is natura…
In recent years, significant experimental indications that point towards Lepton Flavour Universality violating effects in B-decays, involving $b \to c τν$ and $b \to s \ell^+ \ell^-$ have been accumulated. A possible New Physics explanation can be sought within the framework of R-parity violating Supersymmetry, which contains the necessary ingredients to explain the anomalies via both leptoquark, tree-level exchange and one-loop diagrams involving purely leptonic interactions. In addition, an approximate $U(2)^2$ flavour symmetry, that respects gauge coupling unification, successfully controls…
