The $D^{(\ast)}Ξ_{cc}^{(\ast)}$ system and $\barΞ_{cc}^{(\ast)}Ξ_{cc}^{(\ast)}$ system can be related to the $D^{(\ast)}\bar{D}^{(\ast)}$ system via heavy anti-quark di-quark symmetry (HADS). In this work, we employ a contact-range effective field theory to systematically investigate the likely existence of molecules in these systems in terms of the hypothesis that X(3872) is a $1^{++}$~$D\bar{D}^{\ast}$ bound state in the isospin symmetry limit, with some of the unknown low energy constants estimated using the light-meson saturation approximation. In the meson-meson system, a $J^{PC}=2^{++}$~$\bar{D}^{\ast}D^{\ast}$ molecule commonly referred to as $X(4013)$ is reproduced, which is the heavy quark spin partner of $X(3872)$. In the meson-baryon system, we predict two triply charmed pentaquark molecules, $J^{P}=1/2^{-}$~$D^{\ast}Ξ_{cc}$ and $J^{P}=5/2^{-}$~$D^{\ast}Ξ_{cc}^{\ast}$. In the baryon-baryon system, there exist seven di-baryon molecules, $J^{PC}=0^{-+}$~$\barΞ_{cc}Ξ_{cc}$, $J^{PC}=1^{--}$~$\barΞ_{cc}Ξ_{cc}$, $J^{PC}=1^{-+}$~$\barΞ_{cc}Ξ_{cc}^{\ast}$, $J^{PC}=1^{--}$~$\barΞ_{cc}Ξ_{cc}^{\ast}$, $J^{PC}=2^{-+}$~$\barΞ_{cc}Ξ_{cc}^{\ast}$, $J^{PC}=2^{-+}$~$\barΞ_{cc}^{\ast}Ξ_{cc}^{\ast}$ and $J^{PC}=3^{--}$~$\barΞ_{cc}^{\ast}Ξ_{cc}^{\ast}$. Among them, the $J^{PC}=0^{-+}$~$\barΞ_{cc}Ξ_{cc}$ and/or $J^{PC}=1^{--}$~$\barΞ_{cc}Ξ_{cc}$ molecules may contribute to the $X(7200)$ state recently observed by the LHCb Collaboration, which implies that $X(7200)$ can be related to $X(3872)$ via HADS. As a byproduct, with the heavy quark flavor symmetry we also study likely existence of molecular states in the $B^{(\ast)}\bar{B}^{(\ast)}$, $\bar{B}^{(\ast)}Ξ_{bb}^{(\ast)}$, and $\barΞ_{bb}^{(\ast)}Ξ_{bb}^{(\ast)}$ systems.

The purpose of the present study was to explore the possibility of accommodating the $d^*(2380)$ and its flavor SU(3) partners in a diquark model. Proposing that $d^*(2380)$ is composed of three vector diquarks, its mass is calculated by use of an effective Hamiltonian approach and its decay width is estimated by considering the effects of quark tunneling from one diquark to the others and the decays of the subsequent two-baryon bound state. Both the obtained mass and decay width of $d^*(2380)$ are in agreement with the experimental data, with the unexpected narrow decay width being naturally …
We explore the consequences of heavy flavour, heavy quark spin and heavy antiquark-diquark symmetries for hadronic molecules within an effective field theory framework.. Owing to heavy antiquark-diquark symmetry, the doubly heavy baryons have approximately the same light-quark structure as the heavy antimesons. As a consequence, the existence of a heavy meson-antimeson molecule implies the possibility of a partner composed of a heavy meson and a doubly-heavy baryon. In this regard, the D\bar D* molecular nature of the X(3872) will hint at the existence of several baryonic partners with isospin…
We argue that there should exist the large combined fluctuations of chiral and diquark condensates along the phase boundary of QCD at moderately high density and relatively low temperature. Such fluctuations might lead to anomalous production of nucleons and its parity partner, which we propose to detect at NICA.
The diquark-diquark-antiquark model describes pentaquark states both in terms of quarks and hadrons. The latest LHCb data for pentaquarks with open charm emphasize the importance of hadron components in the structure of pentaquarks. We discuss pentaquark states with hidden charm $P(\bar c cuud)$ and those with open charm $P(\bar uussc)$ which were discovered recently in LHCb data ($J/Ψp$ and $Ξ_c^+ K^-$ spectra correspondingly). Considering the observed states as members of the lowest (s-wave) multiplet we discuss the mass splitting of states and the dumping of their widths.
We present a unified Dyson-Schwinger equation treatment of static and electromagnetic properties of pseudoscalar and vector mesons, and scalar and axial-vector diquark correlations, based upon a vector-vector contact-interaction. A basic motivation for this study is the need to document a comparison between the electromagnetic form factors of mesons and those diquarks which play a material role in nucleon structure. This is an important step toward a unified description of meson and baryon form factors based on a single interaction. A notable result, therefore, is the large degree of similarit…
We construct the phase diagrams of the quark-antiquark and diquark condensates at finite temperature and density in the 3D (dimensional) 2-flavor Gross Neveu model. We found that, in contrast to the case of the 4D Nambu Jona-Lasinio model, there is no region where the quark-antiquark and diquark condensates coexist. The phase diagrams obtained for some parameter region show similar structure with the 4D QCD phase diagram.
We show that the coexisting phase of quark-antiquark and diquark condensed phases is absent in the cold quark matter in the $2 + 1$ dimensional extended Gross-Neveu model, which is in sharp contrast to the case of $3 + 1$ dimensional Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model.
In this work, we construct the Lagrangian describing meson-diquark interaction, such that the diquark-anti-diquark component as well as the molecular component is introduced when studying the $Z_{cs}$ states. In this way, the problem is solved that if only considering the $\bar{D}^{(*)}D_s^{(*)}$ components, the potentials are suppressed by OZI rule. Through solving the Bethe-Salpeter equation, we find that the $Z_{cs}(4000)^+$ can be explained as the mixture of $\bar{D}^{*0}D_s^+$ and $\bar{A}_{cs}S_{cu}$ components. Besides, for the $\bar{D}^{*0}D_s^{*+}/\bar{A}_{cs}A_{cu}$ system, the pole …
Diquark-antidiquark states are expected to exist as a natural complement of mesons and baryons. Although they were predicted long ago, and some candidates were found experimentally, none has, as yet, been reliably identified. We suggest that the search for the so-called $C(1480)$-meson in reactions such as photoproduction $γN\rightarrowϕπN$ and $K N \rightarrow ϕπΛ$ should provide a decisive way to settle this issue. Estimates of the cross sections are given using present experimental information on the C-meson and assuming its diquark-antidiquark structure. Sizable cross sections are predicte…
We construct the phase diagram of the quark-antiquark and diquark condensates at finite temperature and density in the 2 + 1 dimensional (3D) two flavor massless Gross Neveu (GN) model with the 4-component quarks. In contrast to the case of the 2-component quarks, there appears the coexisting phase of the quark-antiquark and diquark condensates. This is the crucial difference between the 2-component and 4-component quark cases in the 3D GN model. The coexisting phase is also seen in the 4D Nambu Jona-Lasinio model. Then we see that the 3D GN model with the 4-component quarks bears closer resem…
According to QCD, there exists a broken dynamical supersymmetry between an antiquark and a diquark. This supersymmetry can be used to relate the mass of a pentaquark to the mass of an antibaryon by replacing two antiquarks in an antibaryon by two diquarks to form a pentaquark. Using this technique, we find that the mass of an exotic pentaquark with strangeness plus 1 is greater than 1.74 GeV, or at least 200 MeV larger than that of the reported $Θ^+$ pentaquark. Furthermore, there is no reason for the pentaquark to be narrow; on the contrary, it is expected to be so broad that it will be diffi…
We calculate masses of light and heavy mesons as well as baryons of negative parity containing $u,d,s,c$ and $b$ quarks. It is an extension of our previous work where we had studied the positive parity baryons. We adopt a quark-diquark picture of baryons where the diquarks are non-pointlike with a finite spatial extension. The mathematical foundation for this analysis is implemented through a symmetry-preserving Schwinger-Dyson equations treatment of a vector-vector contact interaction, which preserves key features of quantum chromodynamics, such as confinement, chiral symmetry breaking, axial…
We discuss the relation between the polarization of inclusively produced (anti)-hyperons and the incident baryon states in the framework of the constituent quark-diquark cascade model. We assume that there is an intrinsic diquark-antidiquark state in the incident baryon, in which the intrinsic diquark immediately fragments into a non-leading baryon and the antidiquark behaves as a valence constituent. It is also assumed that the valence (anti)diquark in the incident nucleon tends to combine selectively with a spin-down sea quark and, on the othe hand, the spin-up valence quark in the projectil…
We describe a calculation of the spectrum of flavour-SU(3) octet and decuplet baryons, their parity partners, and the radial excitations of these systems, made using a symmetry-preserving treatment of a vector-vector contact interaction as the foundation for the relevant few-body equations. Dynamical chiral symmetry breaking generates nonpointlike diquarks within these baryons and hence, using the contact interaction, flavour-antitriplet scalar, pseudoscalar and vector, and flavour-sextet axial-vector quark-quark correlations can all play an active role. The model yields reasonable masses for …
The homogeneous Lippmann-Schwinger integral equation is solved in momentum space to calculate the masses of heavy tetraquarks with hidden charm and bottom. The tetraquark bound states are studied in the diquark-antidiquark picture as a two-body problem. A regularized form of the diquark-antidiquark potential is used to overcome the singularity of the confining potential at large distances or small momenta. Our numerical results indicate that the relativistic effect leads to a small reduction in the mass of heavy tetraquarks, which is less than $2\,\%$ for charm and less than $0.2\,\%$ for bott…
Exotic mesons with hidden strange ($s\bar s$) and heavy quark pairs ($Q\bar Q$), where $Q=c,b$, are considered as diquark-antidiquark systems, $(Qs)(\bar Q\bar s)$. Taking into account that these states can recombinate into two-meson ones, we study the interplay of these states in terms of the dispersion relation D-function technique. The classification of exotic mesons is discussed, coefficients for decay modes are given, predictions for new states are presented. The nonet structure for $((Qq)(\bar Q \bar q)$, ($(Qs)(\bar Q\bar s$)), ($(Qq)(\bar Q\bar s))$- states ($q=u,d$) is suggested.
Heavy-light diquarks can be the building blocks of a rich spectrum of states which can accommodate some of the newly observed charmonium-like resonances not fitting a pure c-cbar assignment. We examine this possibility for hidden and open charm diquark-antidiquark states deducing spectra from constituent quark masses and spin-spin interactions. Taking the X(3872) as input we predict the existence of a 2++ state that can be associated to the X(3940) observed by Belle and re-examine the state claimed by SELEX, X(2632). The possible assignment of the previously discovered states D_s(2317) and D_s…
We calculate the next-to-leading order QCD corrections to quark-quark annihilation to a scalar resonant state ("diquark") in a color representation of antitriplet or sextet at the Tevatron and LHC energies. At the LHC, we find the enhancement (K-factor) for the antitriplet diquark is typically about 1.31--1.35, and for the sextet diquark is about 1.22--1.32 for initial-state valence quarks. The full transverse-momentum spectrum for the diquarks is also calculated at the LHC by performing the soft gluon resummation to the leading logarithm and all orders in the strong coupling.
I demonstrate how confinement in Coulomb-gauge QCD makes quark-quark states of the color anti-triplet (diquarks) move out of the physical spectrum. Mesons as color singlet quark-antiquark states, on the other hand have finite masses and for highly excited states in the meson spectra effective restoration of chiral symmetry can be observed.
The masses of pentaquarks $uudd\bar s$ are calculated within the framework of a semirelativistic effective QCD Hamiltonian, using a diquark picture. This approximation allows a correct treatment of the confinement, assumed here to be similar to a Y-junction. With only color antitriplet diquarks, the mass of the pentaquark candidate $Θ$ with positive parity is found around 2.2 GeV. It is shown that, if a color sextet diquark is present, the lowest $uudd\bar s$ pentaquark is characterized by a much smaller mass with a negative parity. A mass below 1.7 GeV is computed, if the masses of the color …
This is a conference mostly devoted to diquarks. Although an exotic meson can in principle be composed of a diquark and an antidiquark, such an exotic is unlikely to be experimentally observable in the near future. The reason, according to the model, is that diquark-antidiquark exotics have masses well above the threshold for decay into two mesons, and are likely to have widths too large to make them observable. A possible exception is a $ u d \bar b \bar b$ exotic, but it will be a long time before such a state can be observed even if it is stable against strong decay.
We study the spectroscopy of the states which defy conventional $c\bar{c}$ charmonium and $b\bar{b}$ bottomonium interpretation respectively, and are termed as exotic states. In August 2003 a state X(3872), was discovered [K. Abe\textit{\ et al.} (Belle Collaboration), Phys. Rev. Lett. \textbf{91}, 262001 (2003) [arXiv:hep-ex/0309032]] and in December 2007 a state Y(10890) was reported [K. F. Chen \textit{et. al.} [Belle Collaboration], Phys. Rev. Lett. \textbf{100}, 112001 (2008) [arXiv:0710.2577]. One possible interpretation of such exotic state is that they are tetraquark (diquark-antiquark…
In this work, we have used an Effective Field Theory (EFT) framework based on Heavy Quark Spin (HQSS), Heavy Flavour (HFS) and Heavy Antiquark-Diquark symmetries (HADS). Using a standard lagrangian for the heavy meson-heavy antimeson system, we fit the counter-terms of the model to predict some promising experimental data that can be interpreted as heavy meson-heavy antimeson molecules, that is, the X(3872) and the $Z_{b}(10610)/Z'_{b}(10650)$. Next, and, taking advantage of HADS, we use the same lagrangian to explore the consequences for heavy meson-doubly heavy baryon molecules, which can al…
The newly observed $Θ^+$ resonance is believed to be a pentaquark with the constituent quarks $uudd\bar s$. There are a few options for the constituent quark structure. Some advocate diquark-diquark-antiquark $(ud)$-$(ud)$-$\bar s$ while others favor diquark-triquark $(ud)$-$(ud\bar s)$. We use the color-spin hyperfine interaction to examine the energy levels of these structures, and we find that the diquark-diquark-antiquark structure is slight favored. We proceed to write down the flavor triplet and antisextet of the charmed or bottomed exotic baryons with internal $qqqq\bar Q$ quarks. We al…
Starting with the dynamical picture of the exotic $c\bar c$-containing states $XY \! Z$ as the confinement-induced hadronization of a rapidly separating pair of a compact diquark and antidiquark, we describe the pentaquark candidates $P_c^+(4380)$ and $P_c^+(4450)$ in terms of a confined but rapidly separating color-antitriplet diquark $cu$ and color-triplet "triquark" $\bar c (ud)$. This separation explains the relatively small $P_c^+$ widths, despite these 5-quark systems lying far above both the $J/ψ\, p$ and $Λ_c \bar D^{(*)0}$ thresholds. The $P_c^+$ states are predicted to form isospin d…
Using the QCD sum rule approach we investigate the possible four-quark structure of the recently observed charmed scalar mesons $D_0^{0}(2308)$ (BELLE) and $D_0^{0,+}(2405)$ (FOCUS) and also of the very narrow $D_{sJ}^{+}(2317)$, firstly observed by BABAR. We use diquak-antidiquark currents and work to the order of $m_s$ in full QCD, without relying on $1/m_c$ expansion. Our results indicate that a four-quark structure is acceptable for the resonances observed by BELLE and BABAR: $D_0^{0}(2308)$ and $D_{sJ}^{+}(2317)$ respectively, but not for the resonances observed by FOCUS: $D_0^{0,+}(2405)…
We investigate the meson, baryon and anti-baryon productions in πp and Kp collisions in terms of a constituent cascade model which includes charm flavour. The constituent diquark in an incident baryon has a tendency to get a large momentum fraction, resulting in considerable difference of subenergies for particle productions from quark-diquark and quark-antiquark chains in a meson-baryon collision. As a consequence, the leading particle effects on D meson productions are expected to be quite different in π+ and π- beams at present accelerator energies.
The cross section of pair double heavy diquark production process $pp\to(bc)+(\bar b \bar c)+X$ is calculated in the leading order of gluonic fusion channel with all four possible color and spin combinations $[^1S_0]_{\bar3}$, $[^1S_0]_{6}$, $[^3S_1]_{\bar3}$, and $[^3S_1]_{6}$ for each of the two final diquarks taken into account. Several sources of relativistic corrections to the cross section are handled in the framework of relativistic quark model. Perturbative $\mathcal O(v^2)$ corrections originating from the production amplitude expansions in heavy quark relative velocity~$v$ depend on …
We consider a class of supersymmetric models containing baryon number violating processes such as observable neutron - antineutron oscillations that are mediated by color triplet diquark fields. For plausible values of the diquark-quark couplings, the scalar diquark with mass between a few hundred GeV and one TeV or so can be produced in the s-channel at the LHC and detected through its decay into a top quark and a hadronic jet.
We compare two frequently discussed competing structures for a stable $\bar b \bar b u d$ tetraquark with quantum numbers $I(J^P) = 0(1^+)$ by considering a meson-meson as well as a diquark-antidiquark creation operator. We treat the heavy antiquarks as static with fixed positions and find diquark-antidiquark dominance for $\bar b \bar b$ separations $r < 0.2 \, \text{fm}$, while for $r > 0.5 \, \text{fm}$ the system essentially corresponds to a pair of $B$ mesons. For the meson-meson to diquark-antidiquark ratio of the tetraquark we obtain around $58\%/42\%$.
We propose that the broad $1^{--}$ resonance structure recently discovered by BES in $J/ψ\to K^{+}K^{-}π^{0}$ is the P-wave excitation of a diquark-antidiquark bound state. This interpretation implies that there exists a negative parity, vector nonet. A rough estimate of the mass spectrum of the nonet is presented, and the prediction for the mass of X(1576) is consistent with the experimental data. The OZI allowed strong decays are studied, it can decay into two pseudoscalars or one pseudoscalar plus one vector meson. A crucial prediction is that X(1576) should dominantly decay into $K^{+}K^{-…
Masses of the ground-state teraquarks composed from heavy $c$ and $b$ quarks and antiquarks are calculated in the diquark-antidiquark picture in the framework of the relativistic quark model based on the quasipotential approach. The quasipotentials of the quark-quark and diquark-antidiquark interactions are constructed similarly to the previous consideration of mesons and baryons. It is assumed that the diquark and antidiquark interact in the tetraquark as a whole and the internal structure of the diquarks is taken into account. All such tetraquarks are found above the thresholds of decays to …
In this article, we utilise the non-relativistic potential model to calculate the mass-spectra of all bottom [$bb][\bar{b}\bar{b}$] and heavy-light bottom [$bq][\bar{b}\bar{q}$] (q=u,d) tetraquark states in diquark-antidiquark approximation. The four-body problem is reduced into two-body problems by numerically solving the $Schr\ddot{o}dinger$ equation using a cornell-inspired potential along with relativistic correction term. The splitting structure of the tetraquark spectrum is described using spin-dependent terms (spin-spin, spin-orbit, and tensor). We have successfully calculated and predi…
We consider a $[ud]^2\bar{s}$ current in the QCD sum rule framework to study the mass of the recently observed pentaquark state $Θ^+(1540)$, obtaining good agreement with the experimental value. We also study the mass of the pentaquark $[ud]^2\bar{d}$. Our results are compatible with the interpretation of the $[ud]^2\bar{d}$ state as being the Roper resonance N(1440), as suggested by Jaffe and Wilczek.
Instantons lead to strong correlations between up and down quarks with spin zero and anti-symmetric color wave functions. In cold and dense matter, $n_b>n_c\simeq 1 fm^{-3}$ and $T<T_c\sim$ 50 MeV, these pairs Bose-condense, replacing the usual $< \bar qq >$ condensate and restoring chiral symmetry. At high density, the ground state is a color superconductor in which diquarks play the role of Cooper pairs. An interesting toy model is provided by QCD with two colors: it has a particle-anti-particle symmetry which relates $<\bar qq>$ and $< qq>$ condensates.
The present status of the diquark model for exclusive reactions at moderately large momentum transfer is reviewed. That model is a variant of the Brodsky-Lepage approach in which diquarks are considered as quasi-elementary constituents of baryons. Recent applications of the diquark model, relevant to high energy physics with electromagnetic probes, are discussed: electromagnetic form factors of baryons in both the space-like and the time-like region, two-photon annihilations into proton-antiproton pairs as well as real and virtual Compton scattering.
A model for elastic scattering of nucleons (and anti-nucleons) based on the quark-diquark representation of the nucleon with springy Pomeron, providing increased real part of the scattering amplitude, is developed. The model predictions are compared with experimental data for the differential elastic cross-sections of nucleons in the energy range from few GeV up to 7 TeV using available databases.
We discuss a recent lattice study of charmonium-like mesons with $J^{PC}=1^{++}$ and three quark contents $\bar cc\bar du$, $\bar cc(\bar uu + \bar dd)$ and $\bar cc\bar ss$, where the latter two can mix with $\bar cc$. In this quantum channel, the long known exotic candidate, X(3872), resides. This simulation employs $N_f=2$, $m_π=266~$MeV and a large basis of $\bar cc$, two-meson and diquark-antidiquark interpolating fields, with diquarks in both anti-triplet and sextet color representations. It aims at the possible signatures of four-quark exotic states. Along the way, we discuss the relati…
We discuss the quantum state structure on the basis of $SU(3)_c$ for some known exotic quark systems using a model which describes these particular states as highly correlated diquarks and antidiquarks. We are then able to calculate for a single colored diquark a finite von Neumann entropy from the quantum reduced density matrix, from which we explicitly evaluate the likelihood of certain arrangements of quark flavors in a given diquark. These results can be related to some recently experimentally found pentaquark systems as well as a possible model for the scalar mesons.
In the U(1)_N extension of the supersymmetric standard model with E_6 particle content, the heavy singlet superfield N may decay into a quark and a diquark as well as an antiquark and an antidiquark, thus creating a baryon asymmetry of the Universe. We show how the three doublet and two singlet neutrinos in this model acquire mass from physics at the TeV scale without the benefit of using N as a heavy right-handed neutrino. Specifically, the active neutrinos get masses via the bilinear term μLX^c which conserves R-parity, and via the nonzero masses of the sterile neutrinos. We predict fixed pr…
The spectrum of meson and diquark excitations of dense cold quark matter is investigated in the framework of a Nambu--Jona-Lasinio type model for light quarks of two flavors. It was found out that a first order phase transition occurs when the chemical potential $μ$ exceeds the critical value $μ_c=350$ MeV. Above $μ_c$, the diquark condensate $\vev{qq}$ forms, breaking the color symmetry of strong interaction. The masses of $π$- and $σ$-mesons are shown to grow with the chemical potential $μ$ in the color-superconducting phase, but the mesons themselves become almost stable particles due to th…
A menage a trois is very different from an ordinary family. Similarly, exotic hadrons with both qq and qbar q pairs have important color-space correlations that are completely absent in ordinary mesons and baryons. The presence of both types of pairs requires attention to the basic QCD physics that the q qbar interaction is much stronger than the qq interaction. This new physics in multiquark systems produces color structures totally different from those of normal hadrons, for example the ud system is utterly unlike the ud diquark in the uds Lambda baryon. The color-space correlations produce …
A diquark model is used to investigate single charmed baryons. In this model, baryon is composed of two diquarks and an antiquark. Masses of lowest lying states with $J^P= 1/2 ^ \pm$ are obtained. Some masses are smaller than other theoretic predictions which indicates that these baryons of pentaquark structure could be relatively stable. The results also show that $Λ(2882)$ may be a pentaquark with $J^P=1/2^-$ and $Ξ(3125)$ may be a pentaquark with $J^P=1/2^+$.
We investigate modifications of hadron masses at finite quark chemical potential in two-flavor and two-color QCD, of which the data are available from lattice simulations, within a linear sigma model based on approximate Pauli-Gursey $SU(4)$ symmetry. The model describes not only ground-state scalar diquarks and pseudo-scalar mesons but also the excited pseudo-scalar diquarks and scalar mesons; each ground-state diquark (meson) has the corresponding excited diquark (hadron) with opposite parity as a chiral partner. Effects of chiral symmetry breaking and diquark condensates are incorporated by…
Baryon number violating (BNV) processes are heavily constrained by experiments searching for nucleon decay and neutron-antineutron oscillations. If the baryon number violation occurs via the third generation quarks, however, we may be able to avoid the nucleon stability constraints, thus making such BNV interactions accessible at the LHC. In this paper we study a specific class of BNV extensions of the standard model (SM) involving diquark and leptoquark scalars. After an introduction to these models we study one promising extension in detail, being interested in particles with mass of O(TeV).…
The spectrum of meson and diquark excitations of dense color neutral cold quark matter is investigated in the framework of a 2-flavored Nambu--Jona-Lasinio type model, including a quark $μ$- and color $μ_8$ chemical potential. It was found out that in the color superconducting (2SC) phase, i.e. at $μ>μ_c=342$ MeV, $μ_8$ aquires rather small values $\sim$ 10 MeV in order to ensure the color neutrality. In this phase the $π$- and $σ$ meson masses are evaluated around $\sim$ 330 MeV. The spectrum of scalar diquarks in the color neutral 2SC phase consists of a heavy ($\rm SU_c(2)$-singlet) resonan…
The mass spectra and wave functions for the doubly heavy baryons are computed under the picture that the two heavy quarks inside a doubly heavy baryon, such as two $c$-quarks in $Ξ_{cc}$, combine into a heavy `diquark core' in color anti-triplet firstly, then the diquark core turns into a color-less doubly heavy baryon via combining the light $q$-quark inside the baryon. Namely both of the combinations, the two heavy quarks inside the baryon into a diquark core in color anti-triplet and the heavy diquark core with the light quark into the baryon, are depicted by relativistic Bethe-Salpeter equ…
