Cosmic positron anomaly is still not explained. Explanation with dark matter (DM) decay or annihilation is one of the main attempts to do it. But they suffer with shortcoming as overproduction of induced gamma-radiation which contradict to cosmic gamma-background. Final state radiation (FSR) in such processes is supposed under standard conditions (by default) to have the basic contribution in it. Our group elaborates possibility to evade this problem in different ways. Here we continue one of them connected with possibility of suppression of FSR due to specifics of Lagrangian describing DM particle decay. Loop through two new spinors and scalar is considered. Effect of FSR suppression is found to be existing but at the very low level in the considered case.
If the positron fraction and combined electron-positron flux excesses recently observed by PAMELA, FERMI and HESS are due to dark matter annihilation into lepton-rich final states, the accompanying final state radiation (FSR) photons may be detected by ground-based atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes (ACTs). Satellite dwarf galaxies in the vicinity of the Milky Way are particularly promising targets for this search. We find that current and near-future ACTs have an excellent potential for discovering the FSR photons from dwarfs, although a discovery cannot be guaranteed due to large uncertainties…
The process of $e^+e^-$ annihilation into a $π^+π^-$ pair with radiation of a photon is considered. The amplitude of the reaction $e^+e^-\toπ^+π^-γ$ consists of the model independent initial-state radiation (ISR) and model-dependent final-state radiation (FSR). The general structure of the FSR tensor is constructed from Lorentz covariance, gauge invariance and discrete symmetries in terms of the three invariant functions. To calculate these functions we apply Chiral Perturbation Theory (ChPT) with vector and axial-vector mesons. The contribution of $e^+e^-\toπ^+π^-γ$ process to the muon anomal…

Predictions for the radiative return with the muon pair and pion pair final state from KKMC and PHOKHARA Monte Carlo programs are compared and discussed. The case of muon pairs is well understood, especially of the initial state radiation (ISR), where three different second order calculations agree very well. The case of the final state radiation (FSR) requires more tests. Matrix element in KKMC of the EEX type with the incomplete second order NLL corrections is not good enough for the radiative return at $Q^2<1$GeV with the precision requirement better than 1%. A method of extending the super…
The observed anomalous excess of high-energy cosmic ray (CR) positrons is widely discussed as possible indirect evidence for dark matter (DM). However, any source of cosmic positrons is inevitably the source of gamma radiation. The least model dependent test of CR anomalies interpretation via DM particles decays (or annihilation) is connected with gamma-ray background due to gamma overproduction in such processes. In this work, we impose an observational constraint on gamma ray production from DM. Then, we study the possible suppression of gamma yield in the DM decays into identical final ferm…
We take a fresh look at high energy radioactive nuclei data reported in the 90's and at the positron data recently reported by PAMELA. Our aim is to study the model independent implications of these data for the propagation time scales of cosmic rays in the Galaxy. Considering radioactive nuclei, using decaying charge to decayed charge ratios -- the only directly relevant data available at relativistic energies -- we show that a rigidity independent residence time is consistent with observations. The data for all nuclei can be described by f_{s,i}=(t_i/100 Myr)^{0.7}, where f_{s,i} is the supp…
Recent observations have detected extended TeV gamma-ray emission surrounding young and middle-aged pulsars. The morphology of these "TeV halos" requires cosmic-ray diffusion to be locally suppressed by a factor of ~100-1000 compared to the typical interstellar medium. No model currently explains this suppression. We show that cosmic-ray self-confinement can significantly inhibit diffusion near pulsars. The steep cosmic-ray gradient generates Alfven waves that resonantly scatter the same cosmic-ray population, suppressing diffusion within ~20 pc of pulsars younger than ~100 kyr. In this model,…
Here we briefly review possible indirect effects of dark matter (DM) of the Universe. It includes effects in cosmic rays (CR): first of all, the positron excess at $\sim$ 500 GeV and possible electron-positron excess at 1-1.5 TeV. We tell that the main and least model-dependent constraint on such possible interpretation of CR effects goes from gamma-ray background. Even ordinary $e^+e^-$ mode of DM decay or annihilation produces prompt photons (FSR) so much that leads to contradiction with data on cosmic gamma-rays. We present our attempts to possibly avoid gamma-ray constraint. They concern p…
The effect of linear chirp frequency on the process of electron-positron pairs production from vacuum in the combined potential wells is investigated by computational quantum field theory. Numerical results of electron number and energy spectrum under different frequency modulation parameters are obtained. By comparing with the fixed frequency, it is found that frequency modulation has a significant enhancement effect on the number of electrons. Especially when the frequency is small, appropriate frequency modulation enhances multiphoton processes in pair creation, thus promoting the pair crea…
The interaction of high energy electrons, positrons, and photons with intense laser pulses is studied in head-on collision geometry. It is shown that electrons and/or positrons undergo a cascade-type process involving multiple emissions of photons. These photons can consequently convert into electron-positron pairs. As a result charged particles quickly lose their energy developing an exponentially decaying energy distribution, which suppresses the emission of high energy photons, thus reducing the number of electron-positron pairs being generated. Therefore, this type of interaction suppresse…

We calculate the contribution to the proton decay amplitude from Kaluza-Klein lepto-quarks in theories with extra dimensions, localised fermions and gauge fields which propagate in the bulk. Such models naturally occur within the context of M-theory. In SU(5) models we show that carefully including all such modes gives a distinctive pattern of decays through various channels including a strong suppression of decays into neutrinos or right handed positrons. By contrast there is no such suppression for SO(10).
We study pair annihilations of the neutralino dark matter in the minimal supersymmetric standard model with CP violation. We consider the case that the higgsino mass and the trilinear scalar couplings have CP-violating phases of order unity, taking a scenario that the scalar fermions in the first two generations are much heavier than those in the third generation to avoid a severe constraint from experimental limits on electric dipole moments. It is found that, when the lightest neutralino ($χ$) is bino-like, the cross sections of the $W$-boson pair production $χχ$ $\to$ $W^+W^-$ and the light…
The electron-positron pair production due to the dynamical Schwinger process in a slowly oscillating strong electric field is enhanced by the superposition of a rapidly oscillating weaker electric field. A systematic account of the enhancement by the resulting bifrequent field is provided for the residual phase space distribution. The enhancement is explained by a severe reduction of the suppression in both the tunneling and multiphoton regimes.
The electron-positron pair production in the collision of two intense gamma lasers is studied beyond the dipole approximation. The complete electron/positron momentum spectrum obtained by three-dimensional computation shows directly the multi-photon pair production channels and provides a sensitive test on the widely-used concept of the effective mass. Nonperturbative features are identified in the dependence of the total yield on the field intensity. In particular, various breaks in the momentum rings are observed and proved to be a manifestation of particle's energy gaps in the standing ligh…
The cosmic electron and positron excesses have been explained as possible dark matter (DM) annihilation products. In this work we investigate the possible effects of such a DM annihilation scenario during the evolution history of the Universe. We first calculate the extragalactic $γ$-ray background (EGRB), which is produced through the final state radiation of DM annihilation to charged leptons and the inverse Compton scattering between electrons/positrons and the cosmic microwave background. The DM halo profile and the minimal halo mass, which are not yet well determined from the current N-bo…
Electroweak corrections can play a crucial role in dark matter annihilation. The emission of gauge bosons, in particular, leads to a secondary flux consisting of all Standard Model particles, and may be described by electroweak fragmentation functions. To assess the quality of the fragmentation function approximation to electroweak radiation in dark matter annihilation, we have calculated the flux of secondary particles from gauge-boson emission in models with Majorana fermion and vector dark matter, respectively. For both models, we have compared cross sections and energy spectra of positrons…
Dark matter annihilation to leptons, $χχ\rightarrow l \bar{l}$, is necessarily accompanied by electroweak radiative corrections, in which a W or Z boson is radiated from a final state particle. Given that the W and Z gauge bosons decay dominantly via hadronic channels, it is thus impossible to produce final state leptons without accompanying protons, antiprotons, and gamma rays. Significantly, while many dark matter models feature a helicity suppressed annihilation rate to fermions, radiating a massive gauge boson from a final state fermion removes this helicity suppression, such that the bran…
In this paper, we study gamma ray spectra for various scenarios of dark matter annihilation and decay. We focus on processes which generate only high-energy photons or leptons and photons, but no proton-antiproton pairs, to be compatible with PAMELA's data. We investigate photons produced directly from two-body decay chains and photons produced together with charged particles. For the former case we also include the process DM(+DM) -> N phi -> 2N gamma which can arise from specific strongly-coupled dark matter scenarios. For the latter case, photons are either generated by final state radiatio…
It is well known that the annihilation of Majorana dark matter into fermions is helicity suppressed. Here, we point out that the underlying mechanism is a subtle combination of two distinct effects, and we present a comprehensive analysis of how the suppression can be partially or fully lifted by the internal bremsstrahlung of an additional boson in the final state. As a concrete illustration, we compute analytically the full amplitudes and annihilation rates of supersymmetric neutralinos to final states that contain any combination of two standard model fermions, plus one electroweak gauge bo…
We enumerate the set of simplified models which match onto the complete set of gauge invariant effective operators up to dimension six describing interactions of a singlet-like Majorana fermion dark matter with the standard model. Tree level matching conditions for each case are worked out in the large mediator mass limit, defining a one to one correspondence between the effective operator coefficients and the simplified model parameters for weakly interacting models. Utilizing such a mapping, we compute the dark matter annihilation rate in the early universe, as well as other low-energy obser…
The role of Sinister Heavy Fermions in recent Glashow's SU(3)*SU(2)*SU(2)'*U(1) model is to offer in a unique frame relic Helium-like products (an ingenious candidate to the dark matter puzzle), a solution to the See-Saw mechanism for light neutrino masses as well as to strong CP violation problem in QCD. The Sinister model requires a three additional families of leptons and quarks, but only the lightest of them Heavy U-quark and E-"electron" are stable. Final neutral Helium-like UUUEE state is an ideal evanescent dark-matter candidate. However it is reached by multi-body interactions along a …
