A new formula for Lazard's correspondence for finite braces and pre-Lie algebras

In this paper a simple algebraic formula is obtained for the correspondence between finite right nilpotent Fp-braces and finite nilpotent pre-Lie algebras. This correspondence agrees with the correspondence using Lazard's correspondence between finite Fp-braces and pre-Lie algebras proposed by Wolfgang Rump in 2014. As an application example, a classification of all right nilpotent Fp-braces generated by one element of cardinality p^4 is obtained, answering a question posed by Leandro Vendramin. It is also shown that the sum of a finite number of left nilpotent ideals in a left brace is a left nilpotent ideal, therefore every finite brace contains the largest left nilpotent ideal.

Algebraic approach to Rump's results on relations between braces and pre-Lie algebras

In 2014, Wolfgang Rump showed that there exists a correspondence between left nilpotent right R-braces and pre-Lie algebras. This correspondence, established using a geometric approach related to flat affine manifolds and affine torsors, works locally. In this paper we explain Rump's correspondence using only algebraic formulae. An algebraic interpretation of the correspondence works for fields of sufficiently large prime characteristic as well as for fields of characteristic zero.

Skew braces and the Galois correspondence for Hopf Galois structures

Let $L/K$ be a Galois extension of fields with Galois group $Γ$, and suppose $L/K$ is also an $H$-Hopf Galois extension. On the Galois correspondence for Hopf Galois structures arising from finite radical algebras and Zappa-Szép products

Let $L/K$ be a $G$-Galois extension of fields with an $H$-Hopf Galois structure of type $N$. We study the ratio $GC(G, N)$, which is the number of intermediate fields $E$ with $K \subseteq E \subseteq L$ that are in the image of the Galois correspondence for the $H$-Hopf Galois structure on $L/K$, divided by the number of intermediate fields. On the connection between Hopf--Galois structures and skew braces

We present a different version of the well-known connection between Hopf--Galois structures and skew braces, building on a recent paper of A. Koch and P. J. Truman. We show that the known results that involve this connection easily carry over to this new perspective, and that new ones naturally appear. As an application, we present new insights on the study of the surjectivity of the Hopf--Galois correspondence, explaining in more detail the role of bi-skew braces in Hopf--Galois theory.

On the passage from finite braces to pre-Lie rings

Let p be a prime number. We show that there is a one-to-one correspondence between the set of strongly nilpotent braces and the set of nilpotent pre-Lie rings of cardinality $p^{n}$, for sufficiently large p. Moreover, there is an injective mapping from the set of left nilpotent pre-Lie rings into the set of left nilpotent braces of cardinality $p^{n}$ for n+1<p. For the passage from pre-Lie rings to braces we use exactly the same method as suggested in [41].

Combinatorial aspects of dynamical Yang-Baxter maps and dynamical braces

In this article we propose an algebraic system, which is an abelian group $(A,+)$ with a family of non-associative and non-(left)distributive multiplications $\{\cdot_λ\}_{λ\in H}$. We call this algebraic system dynamical brace. The dynamical brace corresponds to a certain dynamical Yang-Baxter map (which is left nondegenerate and satisfy the unitary condition). Combinatorial aspects of the dynamical brace give us a correspondence between the dynamical brace and a certain family of subsets of $A\rtimes Aut(A)$. From this viewpoint we give an interpretation and examples of the dynamical brace.

It is shown that over an arbitrary field there exists a nil algebra $R$ whose adjoint group $R^{o}$ is not an Engel group.
