In this article we give upper and lower bounds for the integrated density of states (IDS) of the 1D discrete Anderson-Bernoulli model when the disorder is strong enough to separate the two spectral bands. These bounds are uniform on the disorder and hold over the whole spectrum. They show the existence of a sequence of energies in which the value of the IDS can be given explicitly and does not depend on the disorder parameter.
We show there is a countable dense set of energies at which the integrated density of states of the 1D discrete Anderson-Bernoulli model can be given explicitly and does not depend on the disorder parameter, provided the latter is above an energy-dependent threshold.
Under the weak interaction regime, we prove the one and the two volumes Wegner type bounds for one dimensional multi-particle models on the lattice and for very singular probability distribution functions such as the Bernoulli measures. The results imply the Anderson loclalization in both the spectral exponential and the strong dynamical localization for the one dimensional multi-particle Bernoulli-Anderson model with weak interaction.
We consider the multi-particle Anderson model on the lattice with infinite range but sub-exponentially decaying interaction and show the Anderson localization consisting of the spectral exponential and the strong dynamical localization. In particular, the dynamical localization is proved int he Hilbert-Schmidt norm. The results concern very singular probability distributions such as the Bernoulli's measures.
We prove the Wegner bounds for the one-dimensional interacting multi-particle Anderson models in the continuum. The results apply to singular probability distribution functions such as the Bernoulli's measures. The proofs need the amplitude of the inter-particle interaction potential to be sufficiently weak. As a consequence, the results imply the Anderson localization via the multi-scale analysis.
By using the adequate modified Prüfer variables, precise upper and lower bounds on the density of states in the (internal) Lifshitz tails are proven for a 1D Anderson model with bounded potential.
We consider the Anderson model at large disorder on $\mathbb{Z}^2$ where the potential has a symmetric Bernoulli distribution. We prove that Anderson localization happens outside a small neighborhood of finitely many energies. These finitely many energies are Dirichlet eigenvalues of the minus Laplacian restricted on some finite subsets of $\mathbb{Z}^{2}$.
We study one-dimensional, continuum Bernoulli-Anderson models with general single-site potentials and prove positivity of the Lyapunov exponent away from a discrete set of critical energies. The proof is based on Fürstenberg's Theorem. The set of critical energies is described explicitly in terms of the transmission and reflection coefficients for scattering at the single-site potential. In examples we discuss the asymptotic behavior of generalized eigenfunctions at critical energies.
Following [7,8], we analyze regularity properties of single-site probability distributions of the random potential and of the Integrated Density of States (IDS) in the Anderson models with infinite-range interactions and arbitrary nontrivial probability distributions of the site potentials. In the present work, we study $2$-particle Anderson Hamiltonians on a lattice and prove spectral and strong dynamical localization at low energies, with exponentially decaying eigenfunctions, for a class of site potentials featuring a power-law decay.
We consider the Anderson model with Bernoulli potential on the 3D lattice, and prove localization of eigenfunctions corresponding to eigenvalues near zero, the lower boundary of the spectrum. We follow the framework by Bourgain-Kenig and Ding-Smart, and our main contribution is a 3D discrete unique continuation, which says that any eigenfunction of the harmonic operator with bounded potential cannot be too small on a significant fractional portion of all the points. Its proof relies on geometric arguments about the 3D lattice.
We use scattering theoretic methods to prove strong dynamical and exponential localization for one dimensional, continuum, Anderson-type models with singular distributions; in particular the case of a Bernoulli distribution is covered. The operators we consider model alloys composed of at least two distinct types of randomly dispersed atoms. Our main tools are the reflection and transmission coefficients for compactly supported single site perturbations of a periodic background which we use to verify the necessary hypotheses of multi-scale analysis. We show that non-reflectionless single sites…
We present the first rigorous result on Anderson localization for interacting systems of quantum particles subject to a deterministic (e.g., almost periodic) disordered external potential. For a particular class of deterministic, fermionic, Anderson-type Hamiltonians on the lattice of an arbitrary dimension, and for a large class of underlying dynamical systems generating the external potential, we prove that the spectrum is pure point, all eigenstates are unimodal and feature a uniform exponential decay. In contrast to all prior mathematical works on multi-particle Anderson localization, we d…
We review recent progress in the mathematical theory of quantum disordered systems: the Anderson transition (joint work with Domingos Marchetti), the (quantum and classical) Edwards-Anderson (EA) spin glass model and return to equilibrium for a class of spin glass models, which includes the EA model initially in a very large transverse magnetic field.

We discuss the techniques and results of the multi-particle Anderson localization theory for disordered quantum systems with nontrivial interaction. After a detailed presentation of the approach developed earlier by Aizenman and Warzel, we extend their results to the models with exponentially decaying, infinite-range interaction.
