We extend previous work [arXiv:1908.09095] to the case of Maxwell's equations with a source. Our work shows how to construct a retarded vector potential for the Maxwell field on the Kerr-Newman background in a radiation gauge. As in our previous work, the vector potential has a "reconstructed" term obtained from a Hertz potential solving Teukolsky's equation with a source, and a "correction" term which is obtainable by a simple integration along outgoing principal null rays. The singularity structure of our vector potential is discussed in the case of a point particle source.
We check the weak cosmic censorship conjecture by attempting to overspin the Kerr-Newman-Kasuya black hole with test particle. The study suggests that the Kerr-Newman-Kasuya black hole can be over-spun showing the violation of cosmic censorship conjecture.
A three-dimensional light-like foliation of a spacetime geometry is one particular way of studying its light cone structure and has important applications in numerical relativity. In this paper, we execute such a foliation for the Kerr-Newman-AdS black hole geometry and compare it with the lightlike foliations of the Kerr-AdS and Kerr-Newman black holes. We derive the equations that govern this slicing and study their properties. The explicit form for the post-Newtonian gravitational time delay of light signals propagating on the equatorial plane of a Kerr-Newman black hole is derived. Based on the null geodesic in Kerr-Newman spacetime, we adopt the iterative method to calculate the time delay. Our result reduces to the previous formulation for Kerr black hole if we drop off the contribution from the electrical charge. The superradiant stability of a Kerr-Newman black hole and charged massive scalar perturbation is investigated. We treat the black hole as a background geometry and study the equation of motion of the scalar perturbation. From the radial equation of motion, we derive the effective potential experienced by the scalar perturbation. We find a new class of exact solutions in the Einstein-Maxwell theory by employing the Ernst magnetization process to the Kerr-Newman-Taub-NUT spacetimes. We study the solutions and find that they are regular everywhere. We also find the quasilocal conserved quantities for the spacetimes, the corresponding Smarr formula and the first law of thermodynamics.
We show that the study of hidden conformal symmetry that associates to the Kerr/CFT correspondence can also apply to the cosmological horizon in Kerr-Newman-Taub-NUT-de Sitter spacetime. This symmetry allows one to employ some two dimensional conformal field theory methods to understand the properties of the cosmological horizon. In the present paper, within the framework of stationary axisymmetric spacetimes, binary systems composed of two unequal co- and counter-rotating extreme Kerr-Newman black holes separated by a massless strut are reported. The metric describing both configurations is introduced in a closed analytical form in terms of five arbitrary parameters: the masses $M_{i}$, electric charges $Q_{i}$, and a coordinate distance $R$. We obtain novel results from these configurations; in particular, those related to the merging process.
Using the notion of thermodynamic length, the first law of thermodynamics is consistently derived for two binary configurations of equal Kerr-Newman black holes separated by a massless strut. In this paper, we revisit the possibilities of Bañados-Silk-West (BSW) effect in Kerr-Newman-Taub-NUT (KNTN) spacetime for two neutral particles moving over the equatorial plane and constant $θ$ in Boyer-Lindquist coordinate. Contrary to a previous study on this topic, we found that BSW effect for two particles confined to move over the equatorial plane is not possible. Numerical calculations shows that BSW effect in constant $θ$ geodesics is possible under certain circumstances.

In this work, we study the relation of the eikonal quasinormal modes (EQNMs) and the unstable fundamental photon orbits (UFPOs) in the Kerr-Newman spacetime. We find that in the eikonal limit the gravitational and electromagnetic perturbations of the Kerr-Newman black hole are naturally decoupled, and a single one-dimensional Schrödinger-like equation encoding the QNM spectrum can be derived.
