On generalized spectra in C-algebras of operators over C-algebras

In this paper we consider shift operators, self-adjoint, unitary and normal operators on the standard module over a unital C*-algebra A. We define various generalized spectra in A of these operators, give description of such spectra of these operators and investigate their further properties.

The generalized Picard groups for finite dimensional $C^$-Hopf algebra coactions on unital $C^$-algebras

We shall generalize the notion of the strong Morita equivalence for coactions of a finite dimensional $C^*$-Hopf algebra on a unital $C^*$-algebra and define the Picard groups with respect to the generalized strong Morita equivalence. We call them the generalized Picard groups for coactions of a finite dimensional $C^*$-Hopf algebra on a unital $C^*$-algeba. We shall investigate basic properties of the generalized Picard groups and clarify the relation between the generalized Picard groups and the Picard groups for unital inclusions of unital $C^*$-algebras.

C*-algebras of generalized Boolean dynamical systems as partial crossed products

In this paper, we realize C*-algebras of generalized Boolean dynamical systems as partial crossed products. Reciprocally, we give some sufficient conditions for a partial crossed product to be isomorphic to a C*-algebra of a generalized Boolean dynamical system. As an application, we show that gauge-invariant ideals of C*-algebras of generalized Boolean dynamical systems are themselves C*-algebras of generalized Boolean dynamical system.

Additive Lie ($ξ$-Lie) Derivations and Generalized Lie ($ξ$-Lie) Derivations on Prime Algebras

The additive (generalized) $ξ$-Lie derivations on prime algebras are characterized. It is shown, under some suitable assumption, that an additive map $L$ is an additive (generalized) Lie derivation if and only if it is the sum of an additive (generalized) derivation and an additive map from the algebra into its center vanishing all commutators; is an additive (generalized) $ξ$-Lie derivation with $ξ\not=1$ if and only if it is an additive (generalized) derivation satisfying $L(ξA)=ξL(A)$ for all $A$. Additive derivations on generalized Arens algebras

Given a von Neumann algebra $M$ with a faithful normal finite trace $τ$ denote by $L^Λ(M, τ)$ the generalized Arens algebra with respect to $M.$ We give a complete description of all additive derivations on the algebra $L^Λ(M, τ).$ In particular each additive derivation on the algebra $L^Λ(M, τ),$ where $M$ is a type II von Neumann algebra, is inner.

The homoclinic and heteroclinic C*-algebras of a generalized one-dimensional solenoid

It is shown that the heteroclinic and homoclinic algebras of a generalized one-dimensional solenoid are simple AH-algebras of real rank zero with no dimension growth and a unique trace. In the orientable case they are AT-algebras, and in the non-orientable case they have two-torsion both in K_1 and K_0.

K-theory of C^*-algebras from one-dimensional generalized solenoids

We compute the K-groups of C^*-algebras arising from one-dimensional generalized solenoids. The results show that Ruelle algebras from one-dimensional generalized solenoids are one-dimensional generalizations of Cuntz-Krieger algebras.

Generalized Cuntz algebras associated with subfactors

Various generalizations of Cuntz algebras and their relations to symmetry and duality are reviewed. New generalized Cuntz algebras are associated with a subfactor. A characteristic Hilbert space of basic invariants (with respect to the generalized symmetry) within these algebras is discussed.
