This paper studies Nash equilibrium problems that are given by polynomial functions. We formulate efficient polynomial optimization problems for computing Nash equilibria. The Lasserre type Moment-SOS relaxations are used to solve them. Under generic assumptions, the method can find a Nash equilibrium if there is one. Moreover, it can find all Nash equilibria if there are finitely many ones of them. The method can also detect nonexistence if there is no Nash equilibrium.

We investigate the set of Nash equilibrium payoffs for two person differential games. The main result of the paper is the characterization of the set of Nash equilibrium payoffs in the terms of nonsmooth analysis. Also we obtain the sufficient conditions for a pair of continuous function to provide a Nash equilibrium. This result generalizes the method of system of Hamilton-Jacobi equations.

Distributed Nash equilibrium seeking of aggregative games is investigated and a continuous-time algorithm is proposed. The algorithm is designed by virtue of projected gradient play dynamics and distributed average tracking dynamics, and is applicable to games with constrained strategy sets and weight-balanced communication graphs. This paper studies convex Generalized Nash Equilibrium Problems (GNEPs) that are given by polynomials. We use rational and parametric expressions for Lagrange multipliers to formulate efficient polynomial optimization for computing Generalized Nash Equilibria (GNEs). The Moment-SOS hierarchy of semidefinite relaxations are used to solve the polynomial optimization. In this paper, we study a nonzero-sum stochastic differential game in Markovian framework. We show the existence of the Nash equilibrium point which is discontinuous and of bang-bang type under natural conditions. We design the first fully-distributed algorithm for generalized Nash equilibrium seeking in aggregative games on a time-varying communication network, under partial-decision information, i.e., the agents have no direct access to the aggregate decision. We study a mean field game problem arising from the production control for multiple firms with price stickiness in the commodity market. The price dynamics for each firm is described as a (controlled) jump-diffusion process with mean-field interaction. Each firm aims to maximize her expectation of cumulative net profit coupled with each other through price processes. By solving the limiting control problem and a fixed-point problem, we construct an explicit approximating Nash equilibrium when the number of firms grows large.
This paper concerns the generalized Nash equilibrium problem of polynomials (GNEPP). We apply the Gauss-Seidel method and Lasserre type Moment-SOS relaxations to solve GNEPPs. The convergence of the Gauss-Seidel method is known for some special GNEPPs, such as generalized potential games (GPGs). We give a sufficient condition for GPGs and propose a numerical certificate, based on Putinar's Positivstellensatz. Numerical examples for both convex and nonconvex GNEPPs are given for demonstrating the efficiency of the proposed method.

This paper develops a novel methodology to study robust stability properties of Nash equilibrium points in dynamic games. Small-gain techniques in modern mathematical control theory are used for the first time to derive conditions guaranteeing uniqueness and global asymptotic stability of Nash equilibrium point for economic models described by functional difference equations. Specification to a Cournot oligopoly game is studied in detail to demonstrate the power of the proposed methodology.
In this paper, we study Nash equilibrium payoffs for nonzero-sum stochastic differential games via the theory of backward stochastic differential equations. We obtain an existence theorem and a characterization theorem of Nash equilibrium payoffs for nonzero-sum stochastic differential games with nonlinear cost functionals defined with the help of a doubly controlled backward stochastic differential equation. Our results extend former ones by Buckdahn, Cardaliaguet and Rainer (2004) and are based on a backward stochastic differential equation approach.

This paper investigates Nash equilibrium (NE) seeking problems for noncooperative games over multi-players networks with finite bandwidth communication. A distributed quantized algorithm is presented, which consists of local gradient play, distributed decision estimating, and adaptive quantization. Exponential convergence of the algorithm is established, and a relationship between the convergence rate and the bandwidth is quantitatively analyzed. Finally, a simulation of an energy consumption game is presented to validate the proposed results.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of infinitely split Nash equilibrium in repeated games in which the profile sets are chain-complete posets.
