We provide an explicit construction of Ricci-flat K3 metrics. It employs the technology of D-geometry, which in the case of interest is equivalent to a hyper-Kähler quotient. We relate it to the construction of arXiv:1810.10540, and in particular show that it contains the solution to the BPS state counting problem (that of computing the BPS index of a heterotic little string theory compactified on $T^2$) discussed therein, which is the data needed for this second construction of K3 metrics.

Flat BPS Domain Walls on 2d Kähler-Ricci Soliton

In this paper we address several aspects of flat Bogomolnyi-Prasad-Sommerfeld (BPS) domain walls together with their Lorentz invariant vacua of 4d N=1 supergravity coupled to a chiral multiplet. The scalar field spans a one-parameter family of 2d Kähler manifolds satisfying a Kähler-Ricci flow equation. Deformation of Curved BPS Domain Walls and Supersymmetric Flows on 2d Kähler-Ricci Soliton

We consider some aspects of the curved BPS domain walls and their supersymmetric Lorentz invariant vacua of the four dimensional N=1 supergravity coupled to a chiral multiplet. This paper provides a study of some aspects of flat and curved BPS domain walls together with their Lorentz invariant vacua of four dimensional chiral N=1 supergravity. Quaternionic Kähler metrics associated to special Kähler manifolds with mutually local variations of BPS structures

We construct a quaternionic-Kähler manifold from a conical special Kähler manifold with a certain type of mutually-local variation of BPS structures. We give global and local explicit formulas for the quaternionic-Kähler metric, and specify under which conditions it is positive-definite. Locally, the metric is a deformation of the 1-loop corrected Ferrara-Sabharval metric obtained via the supergravity c-map. Ricci-flat metrics on vector bundles over flag manifolds

We construct explicit complete Ricci-flat metrics on the total spaces of certain vector bundles over flag manifolds of the group $SU(n)$, for all Kähler classes. These metrics are natural generalizations of the metrics of Candelas-de la Ossa on the conifold, Pando Zayas-Tseytlin on the canonical bundle over $\mathbb{CP}^1\times \mathbb{CP}^1$, as well as the metrics on canonical bundles over flag manifolds, recently constructed by van Coevering.

The Moduli Space Metric for Well Separated BPS Monoples

The Lagrangian for the motion of $n$ well-separated BPS monopoles is calculated, by treating the monopoles as point particles with magnetic, electric and scalar charges. It can be reinterpreted as the Lagrangian for geodesic motion on the asymptotic region of the $n$-monopole moduli space, thereby determining the asymptotic metric on the moduli space. The metric is hyperkähler, and is an explicit example of a type of metric considered previously.

Axisymmetric non-abelian BPS monopoles from G_2 metrics

Exact $SU(2)\times U(1)$ self-gravitating BPS global monopoles in four dimensions are constructed by dimensional reduction of eight dimensional metrics with $G_2$ holonomy asymptotic to cones over $S^3\times S^3$. The solutions carry two topological charges in an interesting way. They are generically axially but not spherically symmetric. This last fact is related to the isometries and asymptotic topology of the $G_2$ metrics. It is further shown that some $G_2$ metrics known numerically reduce to supersymmetric cosmic strings.

Ricci-flat metrics on the cone over $\mathbb{CP}^2 \# \overline{\mathbb{CP}^2}$

We describe a framework for constructing the Ricci-flat metrics on the total space of the canonical bundle over $\mathbb{CP}^2 \# \overline{\mathbb{CP}^2}$ (the del Pezzo surface of rank one). We construct explicitly the first-order deformation of the so-called `orthotoric metric' on this manifold. We also show that the deformation of the corresponding conformal Killing-Yano form does not exist.

Nonholonomic Ricci Flows, Exact Solutions in Gravity, and Symmetric and Nonsymmetric Metrics

We provide a proof that nonholonomically constrained Ricci flows of (pseudo) Riemannian metrics positively result into nonsymmetric metrics (as explicit examples, we consider flows of some physically valuable exact solutions in general relativity). There are constructed and analyzed three classes of solutions of Ricci flow evolution equations defining nonholonomic deformations of Taub NUT, Schwarzschild, solitonic and pp--wave symmetric metrics into nonsymmetric ones.

Ricci Flow of Biaxial Bianchi IX Metrics

We use the Ricci flow with surgery to study four-dimensional SU(2) x U(1)-symmetric metrics on a manifold with fixed boundary given by a squashed 3-sphere. Depending on the initial metric we show that the flow converges to either the Taub-Bolt or the Taub-NUT metric, the latter case potentially requiring surgery at some point in the evolution. The Ricci flow allows us to explore the Euclidean action landscape within this symmetry class. This work extends the recent work of Headrick and Wiseman to more interesting topologies.

Nonholonomic Ricci Flows and Running Cosmological Constant: I. 4D Taub-NUT Metrics

In this work we construct and analyze exact solutions describing Ricci flows and nonholonomic deformations of four dimensional (4D) Taub-NUT spacetimes. Non-BPS Brane Cosmology

We study cosmology on a BPS D3-brane evolving in the 10D SUGRA background describing a non-BPS brane. Initially the BPS brane is taken to be a probe whose dynamics we determine in the non-compact non-BPS background. The cosmology observed on the brane is of the FRW type with a scale factor $S(τ)$. In this mirage cosmology approach, there is no self-gravity on the brane which cannot inflate. Self-gravity is then included by compactifying the background space-time. Conformal Sigma Models with Anomalous Dimensions and Ricci Solitons

We present new non-Ricci-flat Kahler metrics with U(N) and O(N) isometries as target manifolds of superconformally invariant sigma models with an anomalous dimension. They are so-called Ricci solitons, special solutions to a Ricci-flow equation. These metrics explicitly contain the anomalous dimension and reduce to Ricci-flat Kahler metrics on the canonical line bundles over certain coset spaces in the limit of vanishing anomalous dimension.
