Search for a scalar partner of the top quark in the all-hadronic $t\bar{t}$ plus missing transverse momentum final state at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector
A search for direct pair production of scalar partners of the top quark (top squarks or scalar third-generation up-type leptoquarks) in the all-hadronic $t\bar{t}$ plus missing transverse momentum final state is presented. The analysis of 139 fb$^{-1}$ of ${\sqrt{s}=13}$ TeV proton-proton collision data collected using the ATLAS detector at the LHC yields no significant excess over the Standard Model background expectation. To interpret the results, a supersymmetric model is used where the top squark decays via $\tilde{t} \to t^{(*)} \tildeχ^0_1$, with $t^{(*)}$ denoting an on-shell (off-shell) top quark and $\tildeχ^0_1$ the lightest neutralino. Three specific event selections are optimised for the following scenarios. In the scenario where $m_{\tilde{t}}> m_t+m_{\tildeχ^0_1}$, top squark masses are excluded in the range 400-1250 GeV for $\tildeχ^0_1$ masses below $200$ GeV at 95 % confidence level. In the situation where $m_{\tilde{t}}\sim m_t+m_{\tildeχ^0_1}$, top squark masses in the range 300-630 GeV are excluded, while in the case where $m_{\tilde{t}}< m_W+m_b+m_{\tildeχ^0_1}$ (with $m_{\tilde{t}}-m_{\tildeχ^0_1}\ge 5$ GeV), considered for the first time in an ATLAS all-hadronic search, top squark masses in the range 300-660 GeV are excluded. Limits are also set for scalar third-generation up-type leptoquarks, excluding leptoquarks with masses below $1240$ GeV when considering only leptoquark decays into a top quark and a neutrino.
The results of a search for direct pair production of heavy top-quark partners in 4.7 fb-1 of integrated luminosity from pp collisions at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC are reported. Heavy top-quark partners decaying into a top quark and a neutral non-interacting particle are searched for in events with two leptons in the final state. No excess above the Standard Model expectation is observed. Limits are placed on the mass of a supersymmetric scalar top and of a spin-1/2 top-quark partner. A spin-1/2 top-quark partner with a mass between 300 GeV and 480 GeV, decayin…
The ATLAS detector has been used to search for high-mass states decaying into a single high momentum lepton and missing transverse energy, such as new heavy charged gauge bosons. The latest search results for a W Prime boson decaying to lepton plus neutrino in 1.04 fb^-1 of proton-proton collisions at a center of mass energy of 7 TeV produced at the Large Hadron Collider are presented.
A search for direct pair production of supersymmetric top squarks (stop_1) is presented, assuming the stop_1 decays into a top quark and the lightest supersymmetric particle, neutralino_1, and that both top quarks decay to purely hadronic final states. A total of 16 (4) events are observed compared to a predicted Standard Model background of 13.5+3.7-3.6 (4.4+1.7-1.3) events in two signal regions based on int(Ldt) = 4.7 fb^-1 of pp collision data taken at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. An exclusion region in the stop_1 versus neutralino_1 mass plane is evaluated: 370<m(sto…
A combination of the searches for pair-produced vector-like partners of the top and bottom quarks in various decay channels ($T$$\rightarrow$$Zt/Wb/Ht$, $B$$\rightarrow$$Zb/Wt/Hb$) is performed using 36.1 fb$^{-1}$ of $pp$ collision data at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The observed data are found to be in good agreement with the Standard Model background prediction in all individual searches. Therefore, combined 95% confidence-level upper limits are set on the production cross-section for a range of vector-like quark scenarios, significantly improvi…
A search for pair production of a scalar partner of the top quark in events with four or more jets plus missing transverse momentum is presented. An analysis of 36.1 fb$^{-1}$ of $\sqrt{s}$=13 TeV proton-proton collisions collected using the ATLAS detector at the LHC yields no significant excess over the expected Standard Model background. To interpret the results a simplified supersymmetric model is used where the top squark is assumed to decay via $\tilde{t}_1 \rightarrow t^{(*)} \tildeχ^0_1$ and $\tilde{t}_1\rightarrow b\tildeχ^\pm_1 \rightarrow b W^{(*)} \tildeχ^0_1$, where $\tildeχ^0_1$ (…
The generic missing transverse energy signals at LHC for theories having large extra dimensions are discussed. Final states of jets plus missing energy and photons plus missing energy are simulated in the ATLAS detector. The discovery limit of LHC and the methods to determine the parameters of the underlying model are discussed.
This document presents a search for a $W'$ boson, decaying to a top quark and a $b$ quark in an effective coupling approach, using a multivariate method based on boosted decision trees. It reports exclusion limits on the $W'\rightarrow tb$ cross-section times branching ratio and effective couplings as a function of the $W'$-boson mass. The search covers $W'$-boson masses between 0.5 and 3.0 TeV, for right-handed or left-handed $W'$-boson, with 20.3 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data produced by the LHC in 2012, at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV and collected by the ATLAS detector.
Some Beyond the Standard Model theories predict new particles that decay predominantly into top-antitop quark pairs. A search for top-antitop quark resonances that decay into the lepton plus jets final state is carried out with the ATLAS experiment at the LHC using 14 fb$^{-1}$ of $\sqrt{s}$ = 8 TeV proton-proton collisions. The search considers both cases where all of the final state jets are isolated and where some or all of the top quark decay products are merged into a single jet. Mass exclusion limits at a 95% credibility level are set for two benchmark models, one predicting leptophobic …
The dynamics of isolated-photon plus jet production in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV has been studied with the ATLAS detector at the LHC using an integrated luminosity of 37 pb-1. Measurements of isolated-photon plus jet bin-averaged cross sections are presented as functions of photon transverse energy, jet transverse momentum and jet rapidity. In addition, the bin-averaged cross sections as functions of the difference between the azimuthal angles of the photon and the jet, the photon--jet invariant mass and the scattering angle in the photon--jet centre-of-mass frame have …
Two of the most important parameters in supersymmetry are the masses of the stop and sbottom, the supersymmetric partners of the third generation quarks. A stop mass lighter than 1 TeV is favored theoretically, however, conventional searches based on the simplified models have not produced experimental evidence for a light stop. It is possible that the light stop evades our searches due to a compressed sparticle mass spectrum. Therefore, the searches are extended to cover a broader range of signal scenarios with different mass splittings between the stop, neutralino(s), and chargino(s). The se…
The ATLAS detector is used to search for high-mass states, such as heavy charged gauge bosons (W', W*) decaying to a charged lepton (electron or muon) and a neutrino. Results are presented based on the analysis of pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 36 pb-1. No excess beyond standard model expectations is observed. A W' with sequential standard model couplings is excluded at 95% confidence level for masses below 1.49 TeV, and a W*(charged chiral boson) for masses below 1.47 TeV.
A search is performed for top quark pairs with early data of ATLAS pp collision taken at {\surd}s = 7 TeV. Several candidate events are observed, in both lepton plus jets and dilepton channels. The properties of these events are described, and compared to the expectations from Monte Carlo simulation. A first study of the backgrounds in the lepton plus jets channel is presented including a data-driven determination of the contribution of QCD multi-jet events.
The dynamics of isolated-photon production in association with a jet in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV are studied with the ATLAS detector at the LHC using a dataset with an integrated luminosity of 3.2 fb$^{-1}$. Photons are required to have transverse energies above 125 GeV. Jets are identified using the anti-$k_t$ algorithm with radius parameter $R=0.4$ and required to have transverse momenta above 100 GeV. Measurements of isolated-photon plus jet cross sections are presented as functions of the leading-photon transverse energy, the leading-jet transverse mome…
Quarks and gluons are the fundamental building blocks of matter responsible for most of the visible energy density in the universe. However, they cannot be directly observed due to the confining nature of the strong force. The LHC uses pp collisions to probe the highest energy reactions involving quarks and gluons happening at the smallest distance scales ever studied in a terrestrial laboratory. The quantum properties of the initiating partons are encoded in the distribution of energy inside and around jets. These quantum properties of jets (QPJ) can be used to study the high energy nature of…

Measurements of isolated-photon plus jets cross sections are presented as functions of the photon and jet transverse momenta. The cross sections as functions of the azimuthal angle between the photon and the jets, the azimuthal angle between the jets, the photon-jet invariant mass and the scattering angle in the photon-jet centre-of-mass system are presente…
This paper presents a search for a new heavy particle produced in association with a top or antitop quark. Two models in which the new heavy particle is a color singlet or a color triplet are considered, decaying respectively to tbarq or tq, leading to a resonance within the ttbar + jets signature. The full 2011 ATLAS pp collision dataset from the LHC (4.7 fb-1) is used to search for ttbar events produced in association with jets, in which one of the W bosons from the top quarks decays leptonically and the other decays hadronically. The data are consistent with the Standard Model expectation, …

Cross sections are measured as functions of a variety of observables, including angular correlations and invariant masses of the objects in the final state, $γ+jet+jet$. Measurements are also performed in phase-space regions enriched in each of the two underlying physical mechanisms, namely direct and fragmentation processes. The measurements cover the range of …
A search for new phenomena in ttbar events with large missing transverse momentum in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV is presented. The measurement is based on 1.04 fb^-1 of data collected with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The search is carried out in the single-lepton channel, characterized by an isolated lepton of high transverse momentum, four or more jets and large missing transverse momentum. Contributions to this final state may arise from a number of Standard Model extensions. The results are interpreted in terms of a model where new top-quark partners are …
We report on a search for the supersymmetric partner of the top quark (stop) produced in $t \bar{t}$ events using $110 {\rm pb}^{-1}$ of $p \bar{p}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 1.8 {\rm TeV}$ recorded with the Collider Detector at Fermilab. In the case of a light stop squark, the decay of the top quark into stop plus the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP) could have a significant branching ratio. The observed events are consistent with Standard Model $t \bar{t}$ production and decay. Hence, we set limits on the branching ratio of the top quark decaying into stop plus LSP, excluding branching…
A search is presented for gluinos decaying via the supersymmetric partner of the top quark using events with two same-sign leptons, jets and missing transverse momentum. The analysis is performed with 2.05 fb^-1 of integrated luminosity from pp collisions at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. No excess beyond the Standard Model expectation is observed and exclusion limits are derived for simplified models where the gluino decays via the supersymmetric partner of the top quark and in the MSUGRA/CMSSM framework. In those scenarios, gluino masses below 550 GeV are exclude…
A search for new charged massive gauge bosons, $W^\prime$, is performed with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. Data were collected in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 36.1 $\textrm{fb}^{-1}$. This analysis searches for $W^\prime$ bosons in the $W^\prime \rightarrow t\bar{b}$ decay channel in final states with an electron or muon plus jets. The search covers resonance masses between 0.5 and 5.0 TeV and considers right-handed $W^\prime$ bosons. No significant deviation from the Standard Model (SM) expectation is…
This paper reports inclusive and differential measurements of the $t\bar{t}$ charge asymmetry $A_{\textrm{C}}$ in 20.3 fb$^{-1}$ of $\sqrt{s} = 8$ TeV $pp$ collisions recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. Three differential measurements are performed as a function of the invariant mass, transverse momentum and longitudinal boost of the $t\bar{t}$ system. The $t\bar{t}$ pairs are selected in the single-lepton channels ($e$ or $μ$) with at least four jets, and a likelihood fit is used to reconstruct the $t\bar{t}$ event kinematics. A Bayesian unfolding procedure …
Search for singly produced vector-like top partners in multilepton final states with 139 $\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $pp$ collision data at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector
Supersymmetry, which extends the Standard Model (SM) by introducing supersymmetric partners for the SM particles, can provide an elegant solution to the hierarchy problem. One of the most important parameters in supersymmetry is the mass of the supersymmetric partner to the top quark, referred to as stop. In the absence of the stop signature in the previous searches at the LHC, compressed stop searches in which the mass of the stop is close to the mass of the lightest neutralino become more important. In scenarios with compressed mass spectra, the momentum transfer to the decay products of the…
A search for new heavy particles that decay into top-quark pairs is performed using data collected from proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The integrated luminosity of the data sample is 36.1 fb$^{-1}$. Events consistent with top-quark pair production are selected by requiring a single isolated charged lepton, missing transverse momentum and jet activity compatible with a hadronic top-quark decay. Jets identified as likely to contain $b$-hadrons are required to reduce the background from other Standard Model process…
A search for supersymmetric partners of top quarks decaying as $\tilde{t}_1\to c\tildeχ^0_1$ and supersymmetric partners of charm quarks decaying as $\tilde{c}_1\to c\tildeχ^0_1$, where $\tildeχ^0_1$ is the lightest neutralino, is presented. The search uses 36.1 ${\rm fb}^{-1}$ $pp$ collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV collected by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider and is performed in final states with jets identified as containing charm hadrons. Assuming a 100% branching ratio to $c\tildeχ^0_1$, top and charm squarks with masses up to 850 GeV are excluded at 95%…
We present searches for heavy top and bottom quark partners at CMS using data collected at sqrt(s) = 8 TeV. Such partners, if vector-like, occur in models such as the Little Higgs and Large Extra Dimensions. Fermionic top partners could also occur in composite Higgs models. The searches presented here span a wide range of final states, from lepton plus jets to multi-leptonic, and exclusion limits are set on mass and production cross sections as a function of branching ratios of the heavy quarks to their decay products.
A search is presented for the pair production of heavy vector-like $B$ quarks, primarily targeting $B$ quark decays into a $W$ boson and a top quark. Data are analysed in the lepton-plus-jets final state, characterised by a high-transverse-momentum isolated electron or muon, large missing transverse momentum, and multiple jets, of which at least one is $b$-tagged. No significant deviation from the Standard Model expectation is ob…

This analysis searches for $W'$ bosons in the $W' \to t\bar{b}$ decay channel in final states with electrons or muons, using a multivariate method based on boosted decision trees. The search covers masses between 0.5 and 3.0 TeV, for right-handed or left-handed $W'$ bosons. No significant deviation from the Standard Model expectation …

A search for new particles that decay into top quark pairs (ttbar) is performed with the ATLAS experiment at the LHC using an integrated luminosity of 4.7 fb^-1 of proton-proton (pp) collision data collected at a center-of-mass energy sqrt(s)=7 TeV. In the ttbar --> WbWb decay, the lepton plus jets final state is used, where one W boson decays leptonically and the other hadronically. The ttbar system is reconstructed using both small-radius and large-radius jets, the latter being supplemented by a jet substructure analysis. A search for local excesses in the number of data events compared to t…
Weak scale supersymmetry is one of the best motivated and studied Standard Model extensions. It predicts the existence of new heavy coloured particles called squarks and gluinos which are the supersymmetric partners of the quarks and gluons, respectively. The poster summarises results on inclusive searches for supersymmetric squarks and gluinos in events containing jets and missing transverse momentum without leptons. The searches use the full data sample recorded in 2012 at $\sqrt{s}$=8~TeV centre-of-mass energy by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC.
A search for new particles that decay into top quark pairs is reported. The search is performed with the ATLAS experiment at the LHC using an integrated luminosity of 20.3 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data collected at a centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}=8$ TeV. The lepton-plus-jets final state is used, where the top pair decays to $W^+bW^-\bar{b}$, with one $W$ boson decaying leptonically and the other hadronically. The invariant mass spectrum of top quark pairs is examined for local excesses or deficits that are inconsistent with the Standard Model predictions. No evidence for a top…
This paper presents updated Monte Carlo configurations used to model the production of single electroweak vector bosons (W, Z/$γ^{*}$) in association with jets in proton-proton collisions for the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. Improvements pertaining to the electroweak input scheme, parton-shower splitting kernels and scale-setting scheme are shown for multi-jet merged configurations accurate to next-to-leading order in the strong and electroweak couplings. The computational resources required for these set-ups are assessed, and approximations are introduced resulting in a fact…
A search for new phenomena in final states characterized by high jet multiplicity, an isolated lepton (electron or muon) and either zero or at least three $b$-tagged jets is presented. The search uses 36.1 fb$^{-1}$ of $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider in 2015 and 2016. The dominant sources of background are estimated using parameterized extrapolations, based on observables at medium jet multiplicity, to predict the $b$-tagged jet multiplicity distribution at the higher jet multiplicities used in the search. No signi…
The most recent results on searches in lepton plus jet final states motivated by different models beyond the standard model are presented, using pp collision data collected by the ATLAS and CMS detectors during Run I and Run II at the CERN LHC. Leptoquarks and heavy Majorana neutrinos that arise in the left-right model are looked for in the final states with two leptons and two jets (ll + jj; l = e; mu; tau ). Heavy Majorana neutrinos are further investigated by relying on a composite-fermion scenario, considering two leptons and one large-radius jet (ll + J; l = e, mu), and in the context of …
Inclusive multi-jet production is studied using the ATLAS detector for proton-proton collisions with a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 2.43 pb^-1, using the first proton-proton data collected by the ATLAS detector in 2010. Results on multi-jet cross sections are presented and compared to both leading-order plus parton-shower Monte Carlo predictions and next-to-leading-order QCD calculations.
We perform a detailed study of top-quark partner production in the ttbar plus large missing energy final-state at the LHC, presenting results for both scalar and fermionic top-quark partners in the semi-leptonic and dileptonic decay modes of the top quarks. We compare the results of several simulation tools: leading-order matrix elements, next-to-leading order matrix elements, leading-order plus parton shower simulations, and merged samples that contain the signal process with an additional hard jet radiated. We find that predictions from leading-order plus parton shower simulations can signif…
A search is presented for production of a heavy up-type quark (t') together with its antiparticle, assuming a significant branching ratio for subsequent decay into a W boson and a b quark. The search is based on 4.7 fb^-1 of pp collisions at sqrt(s)=7 TeV recorded in 2011 with the ATLAS detector at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. Data are analyzed in the lepton+jets final state, characterized by a high-transverse-momentum isolated electron or muon, large missing transverse momentum and at least three jets. The analysis strategy relies on the substantial boost of the W bosons in the t't'bar sig…
Two searches for new phenomena involving top quarks are presented: a search for a top partner in ttbar events with large missing transverse momentum, and a search for ttbar resonances in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. The measurements are based on 35 pb^-1 and 200 pb^-1 of data collected with the ATLAS detector at the LHC in 2010 and 2011, respectively. No evidence for a signal is observed. The first limits from the LHC are established on the mass of a top partner, excluding a mass of 275 GeV for a neutral particle mass less than 50 GeV and a mass of 300 GeV for …

Experimental signatures incorporating an isolated photon and significant missing transverse momentum are explored. These signatures include events with an additional photon or additional jet…
The top quark mass measurement with ATLAS in the lepton plus jets channel is summarized from the perspective of the early data. Using the invariant mass of the three jets arising from the hadronic side as the estimator of the top quark mass, a precision of the order of 1 to 3.5 GeV on the top quark mass measurement should be achievable, assuming a jet energy scale uncertainty of 1 to 5%.
A search for pair production of vector-like quarks, both up-type ($T$) and down-type ($B$), as well as for four-top-quark production, is presented. The search is based on $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=8$ TeV recorded in 2012 with the ATLAS detector at the CERN Large Hadron Collider and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 20.3 fb$^{-1}$. Data are analysed in the lepton-plus-jets final state, characterised by an isolated electron or muon with high transverse momentum, large missing transverse momentum and multiple jets. Dedicated analyses are performed targeting three cases: a $T$ quark …
We assess how different ATLAS and CMS searches for supersymmetry in the $t\bar t + E_T^{\rm miss}$ final state at Run 1 of the LHC constrain scenarios with a fermionic top partner and a dark matter candidate. We find that the efficiencies of these searches in all-hadronic, 1-lepton and 2-lepton channels are quite similar for scalar and fermionic top partners. Therefore, in general, efficiency maps for stop-neutralino simplified models can also be applied to fermionic top-partner models, provided the narrow width approximation holds in the latter. Owing to the much higher production cross-secti…
A search for charged leptons with large impact parameters using 139 fb$^{-1}$ of $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV $pp$ collision data from the ATLAS detector at the LHC is presented, addressing a long-standing gap in coverage of possible new physics signatures. Results are consistent with the background prediction. This search provides unique sensitivity to long-lived scalar supersymmetric lepton-partners (sleptons). For lifetimes of 0.1 ns, selectron, smuon and stau masses up to 720 GeV, 680 GeV, and 340 GeV are respectively excluded at 95% confidence level, drastically improving on the previous best limi…
This Letter presents the measurement of differential cross sections of isolated prompt photons produced in association with a b-jet or a c-jet. These final states provide sensitivity to the heavy-flavour content of the proton and aspects related to the modelling of heavy-flavour quarks in perturbative QCD. The data set used corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV recorded by the ATLAS detector at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. No excess above the expected background is found and upper limits on the di-Higgs boson production cross sections are set. A 95% confidence-level upper limit of 4.2 times the cross section predicted by the Standard Model is set on $pp \rightarrow HH$ nonresonant production, where th…
Vector-like quarks are introduced in various new physics models beyond the standard model (SM) at the TeV scale. We especially consider the case that the quark is singlet (triplet) under the SU(2)$_L$ (SU(3)$_c$) gauge group and couples only to the third generation quarks of the SM. The vector-like quark of this kind is often called a top partner. The top partoner $t_p$ decays into $bW, tZ$ and $th$. In the ATLAS and CMS collaborations, the top partner has been searched in the final states of $bW$ and $tZ$, while the search based on the decay mode $t_p\to th$ has not been started yet. However,…
The results of a search for pair production of the scalar partners of bottom quarks in 2.05 fb^-1 of pp collisions at sqrt{s} = 7 TeV using the ATLAS experiment are reported. Scalar bottoms are searched for in events with large missing transverse momentum and two jets in the final state, where both jets are identified as originating from a b-quark. In an R-parity conserving minimal supersymmetric scenario, assuming that the scalar bottom decays exclusively into a bottom quark and a neutralino, 95% confidence-level upper limits are obtained in the tilde{b}_1 - tilde{chi}^0_1 mass plane such tha…

A search for supersymmetric partners of gluons and quarks is presented, involving signatures with jets and either two isolated leptons (electrons or muons) with the same electric charge, or at least three isolated leptons. A data sample of proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV recorded with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider between 2015 and 2018, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 139 fb$^{-1}$, is used for the search. No significant excess over the Standard Model expectation is observed. The results are interpreted in simplified supersymmetric models fea…
Many standard model extensions, including composite Goldstone Higgs models, predict vector-like fermionic top-partners at the TeV scale. The intensive search programmes by ATLAS and CMS focus on decays into a 3$^{\rm rd}$ generation quark and an electroweak boson ($W,Z,h$). However, underlying models of partial compositeness contain additional states that give rise to exotic top partner decays. We consider a well-motivated scenario in which a charge-$2/3$ top-partner decays into a pseudo-scalar, $T\rightarrow t\ a$, with $a\rightarrow gg \mbox{ or } b\bar{b}$ dominating below the $t\bar{t}$ th…
