We present new Pieri type formulas for Jack polynomials. As an application, we give a new derivation of higher order difference equations for interpolation Jack polynomials originally found by Knop and Sahi. We also propose Pieri formulas for interpolation Jack polynomials and intertwining relations for a kernel function for Jack polynomials.

Raising type twisted Pieri formulas for Jack polynomials and their applications to interpolation Jack polynomials

We propose new Pieri type formulas for Jack polynomials, which is another kind of Pieri type formulas than the ones in the previous paper (G. Shibukawa, arXiv:2004.12875). From these new Pieri type formulas, we give yet another proof of difference and Pieri formulas for interpolation Jack polynomials. Further, we also generalize a falling type twisted Pieri formula to the binomial type polynomials including Jack and multivariate Bernoulli polynomials.

Pieri Integral Formula and Asymptotics of Jack Unitary Characters

We introduce Jack (unitary) characters and prove two kinds of formulas that are suitable for their asymptotics, as the lengths of the signatures that parametrize them go to infinity. The first kind includes several integral representations for Jack characters of one variable. The second identity we prove is the Pieri integral formula for Jack characters which, in a sense, is dual to the well known Pieri rule for Jack polynomials. $q$-Difference Systems for the Jackson Integral of Symmetric Selberg Type

We provide an explicit expression for the first order $q$-difference system for the Jackson integral of symmetric Selberg type. The $q$-difference system gives a generalization of $q$-analog of contiguous relations for the Gauss hypergeometric function. As a basis of the system we use a set of the symmetric polynomials introduced by Matsuo in his study of the $q$-KZ equation. Okounkov's BC-type interpolation Macdonald polynomials and their q=1 limit

This paper surveys eight classes of polynomials associated with $A$-type and $BC$-type root systems: Jack, Jacobi, Macdonald and Koornwinder polynomials and interpolation (or shifted) Jack and Macdonald polynomials and their $BC$-type extensions. Branching rules for symmetric Macdonald polynomials and sl_n basic hypergeometric series

A one-parameter generalisation R_λ(X;b) of the symmetric Macdonald polynomials and interpolations Macdonald polynomials is studied from the point of view of branching rules. We establish a Pieri formula, evaluation symmetry, principal specialisation formula and q-difference equation for R_λ(X;b). We also prove a new multiple q-Gauss summation formula and several further results for sl_n basic hypergeometric series based on R_λ(X;b).

Restricted non-linear approximation in sequence spaces and applications to wavelet bases and interpolation

Restricted non-linear approximation is a type of N-term approximation where a measure $ν$ on the index set (rather than the counting measure) is used to control the number of terms in the approximation. We show that embeddings for restricted non-linear approximation spaces in terms of weighted Lorentz sequence spaces are equivalent to Jackson and Bernstein type inequalities, and also to the upper and lower Temlyakov property. Macdonald Polynomials and Multivariable Basic Hypergeometric Series

We study Macdonald polynomials from a basic hypergeometric series point of view. In particular, we show that the Pieri formula for Macdonald polynomials and its recently discovered inverse, a recursion formula for Macdonald polynomials, both represent multivariable extensions of the terminating very-well-poised 6-phi-5 summation formula. AFLT-type Selberg integrals

In their 2011 paper on the AGT conjecture, Alba, Fateev, Litvinov and Tarnopolsky (AFLT) obtained a closed-form evaluation for a Selberg integral over the product of two Jack polynomials, thereby unifying the well-known Kadell and Hua--Kadell integrals.
