Requirements engineering in global scaled agile software development environment: a multi-vocal literature review protocol

Context: Requirements engineering in global scaled agile software development and the planning phase for a multi-vocal literature review. Objective: Develop a protocol to specify the plan which will be followed to conduct a multi-vocal literature review study on requirements engineering in global scaled agile software development. Method: Kitchenham and Charters (2007), and Garousi et al. (2019) guidelines were followed to develop a protocol for multi-vocal literature review. Result: A validated protocol to conduct a multi-vocal literature review. Conclusion: The review protocol consist of five phases enumerated as follows: research questions, search strategies, validation of review process, reporting the review, and making changes to the protocol.

An empirical analysis of success factors in the adaption of the scaled agile framework -- first outcomes from an empirical study

Agile methodologies are used for improving productivity and quality of development originally created for small teams. However , now they are expanding to larger organizations, for which "scaled up" approaches have been proposed. This study presents the preliminary outcomes from a survey on the effects of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), which is considered the most used of such approaches. The apparent advantages and limitations are discussed along with the lines for future research.

How Surveys, Tutors, and Software Help to Assess Scrum Adoption in a Classroom Software Engineering Project

Agile methods are best taught in a hands-on fashion in realistic projects.
