Poly-Cauchy numbers with level $2$ are defined by inverse sine hyperbolic functions with the inverse relation from sine hyperbolic functions. In this paper, we show several convolution identities of poly-Cauchy numbers with level $2$. In particular, that of three poly-Cauchy numbers with level $2$ can be expressed as a simple form. In the sequel, we introduce the Stirling numbers of the first kind with level $2$
In this article we use an interplay between Newton series and binomial formulas in order to generate a number of series identities involving Cauchy numbers, harmonic numbers, Laguerre polynomials, and Stirling numbers of the first kind.
Recently, Komatsu introduced the concept of poly-Cauchy numbers and polynomials which generalize Cauchy numbers and polynomials. In this paper, we consider the new concept of higher-order Cauchy numbers and polynomials which generalize Cauchy numbers and polynomials in different direction and investigate some properties of those new class of numbers and polynomials. From our investigation, we derive some identities involving higher-order Cauchy numbers and polynomials, which generalize some rela- tions between two kinds of Cauchy polynomials and some identities for Cauchy numbers and Stirling …

In this paper, we investigate some properties of higher-order Cauchy of the second kind and poly-Cauchy of the second mixed type polynomials with umbral calculus viewpoint. From our investigation, we derive many interesting identities of higher-order Cauchy of the second kind and poly-Cauchy of the second kind mixed type polynomials.
Recently, degenerate Cauchy numbers and polynomials are introduced in [10]. In this paper, we study the degenerate Cauchy numbers and polynomials which are different from the previous degenerate Cauchy numbers and polynomials. In addition, we give some explicit identities for these numbers and polynomials which are derived from the generating function.
The Peters polynomials are a generalization of Boole polynomials. Finally, we give various identities of those polynomials associated with special polynomials.
In 1935 Carlitz introduced Bernoulli-Carlitz numbers as analogues of Bernoulli numbers for the rational function field $\mathbb F_r(T)$. In this paper, we introduce Cauchy-Carlitz numbers as analogues of Cauchy numbers. By using Stirling-Carlitz numbers, we give their arithmetical and combinatorial properties and relations with Bernoulli-Carlitz numbers for $\mathbb F_r(T)$. Several new identities are also obtained by using Hasse-Teichimüller derivatives.
In this paper, we consider the poly-cauchy polynomials and numbers of the second kind which were studied by Komatsu in [10]. We note that the poly-Cauchy polynomials of the second kind are the special generalized Bernoulli polynomials of the second kind. The purpose of this paper is to give various identities of the poly-Cauchy polynomials of the second kind which are derived from umbral calculus.
The aim of this paper is to introduce several degenerate hyperbolic functions as degenerate versions of the hyperbolic functions, to evaluate Volkenborn and the fermionic $p$-adic integrals of the degenerate hyperbolic cosine and the degenerate hyperbolic sine functions and to derive from them some identities involving the degenerate Bernoulli numbers, the degenerate Euler numbers and the Cauchy numbers of the first kind.
We obtain closed form expressions for convolutions of scale transformations within a certain subset of Appell polynomials. This subset contains the Bernoulli, Apostol-Euler, and Cauchy polynomials, as well as various kinds of their generalizations, among others. We give a unified approach mainly based on a probabilistic generalization of the Stirling numbers of the second kind. Different illustrative examples, including reformulations of convolution identities already known in the literature, are discussed in detail.
In 2013, Komatsu introduced the poly-Cauchy numbers, which generalize Cauchy numbers. Several generalizations of poly-Cauchy numbers have been considered since then. One particular type of generalizations is that of multiparameter-poly-Cauchy numbers. In this paper, we study the log-convexity of the multiparameter-poly-Cauchy numbers of the first kind and of the second kind. In addition, we also discuss the log-behavior of multiparameter-poly-Cauchy numbers.
We review and discuss some results on the representation of Bernoulli, poly-Bernoulli numbers, and Bernoulli and Cauchy polynomials in terms of Stirling numbers of the first or second kind, or in terms of r-Stirling numbers.
We give some formulas of poly-Cauchy numbers by the $r$-Stirling transform. In the case of the classical or poly-Bernoulli numbers, the formulas are with Stirling numbers of the first kind. In our case of the classical or poly-Cauchy numbers, the formulas are with Stirling numbers of the second kind. We also discuss annihilation formulas for poly-Cauchy number with negative indices.
We define $q$-poly-Bernoulli polynomials $B_{n,ρ,q}^{(k)}(z)$ with a parameter $ρ$, $q$-poly-Cauchy polynomials of the first kind $c_{n,ρ,q}^{(k)}(z)$ and of the second kind $\widehat c_{n,ρ,q}^{(k)}(z)$ with a parameter $ρ$ by Jackson's integrals, which generalize the previously known numbers and polynomials, including poly-Bernoulli numbers $B_n^{(k)}$ and the poly-Cauchy numbers of the first kind $c_n^{(k)}$ and of the second kind $\widehat c_n^{(k)}$. We investigate their properties connected with usual Stirling numbers and weighted Stirling numbers. We also give the relations between gene…
Many kinds of convolution identities have been considered about several numbers, including Bernoulli, Euler, Genocchi, Cauchy, Stirling, and Fibonacci numbers. The well-known basic result about Bernoulli numbers is due to Euler. The convolution identities have been studied. In this paper, we give convolution identities for Tribonacci numbers without binomial coefficients and with binomial coefficients. Convolution identities of Fiboancci numbers or Lucas numbers can be expressed in the form of linear combinations of Fibonacci numbers and Lucas numbers only. Fibonacci numbers and Lucas numbers …

New convolution identities of hypergeometric Bernoulli polynomials are presented. Two different approaches to proving these identities are discussed, corresponding to the two equivalent definitions of hypergeometric Bernoulli polynomials as Appell sequences.

In this paper, we study degenerate ordered Bell polynomials with the viewpoint of Carlitz's degenerate Bernoulli and Euler polynomials and derive by using umbral calculus some properties and new identities for the degenerate ordered Bell polynomials associated with special polynomials.
Using general identities for difference operators, as well as a technique of symbolic computation and tools from probability theory, we derive very general kth order (k \ge 2) convolution identities for Bernoulli and Euler polynomials. This is achieved by use of an elementary result on uniformly distributed random variables. These identities depend on k positive real parameters, and as special cases we obtain numerous known and new identities for these polynomials. In particular we show that the well-known identities of Miki and Matiyasevich for Bernoulli numbers are special cases of the same …
In this paper, we focus on the q-Genocchi numbers and polynomials. We shall introduce new identities of the q-Genocchi numbers and polynomials by using the fermionic p-adic integral on Zp which are very important in the study of Frobenius-Genocchi numbers and polynomials. Also, we give Cauchy-integral formula for the q-Genocchi polynomials and moreover by using measure theory on p-adic integral we derive the distribution formula q-Genocchi polynomials. Finally, we present a new definition of q-Zeta-type function by using Mellin transformation which is the interpolation function of the q-Genocc…
A number of identities are proved by using Stirling transforms. These identities involve Stirling numbers of the first and second kinds, hyperharmonic and derangement numbers, Bernoulli and Euler numbers and polynomials, powers, power sums, and factorials.
In this paper, we study some symmetric properties of the multiple q-Euler zeta function. From these properties, we derive several identities of symmetry for the (h;q)-extension of higher-order Euler polynomials.
In this paper, we give some new identities of Carlitz q-Bernoulli polynomials under symmetry group S 3 . The derivatives of identities are based on the q-Volkenborn integral expression of the generating function for the Carlitz q-Bernoulli polynomials and the q-Volkenborn integral equations that can be expressed as the exponential generating functions for the q-power sums.
The purpose of this paper is to derive some identities of the higher order generalized twisted Bernoulli numbers and polynomials attached to $χ$ from the properties of the p-adic invariant integrals.
In this paper, by the properties of p-adic invariant integral on Zp, we establish various identities concerning the generalized Bernoulli numbers and polynomials. From the symmetric properties of p-adic invariant integral on Zp, we give some interesting relationship between the power sums and the generalized Bernoulli polynomials.
We give some new identities for (h; q)-Genocchi numbers and polynomials by means of the fermionic p-adic q-integral on Zp and the weighted q-Bernstein polynomials.
