Assume that $\mathbb F$ is an algebraically closed field and let $q$ denote a nonzero scalar in $\mathbb F$ that is not a root of unity. The universal DAHA (double affine Hecke algebra) $\mathfrak H_q$ of type $(C_1^\vee,C_1)$ is a unital associative $\mathbb F$-algebra defined by generators and relations. The generators are $\{t_i^{\pm 1}\}_{i=0}^3$ and the relations assert that \begin{gather*} t_it_i^{-1}=t_i^{-1} t_i=1 \quad \hbox{for all $i=0,1,2,3$}; \\ \hbox{$t_i+t_i^{-1}$ is central} \quad \hbox{for all $i=0,1,2,3$}; \\ t_0t_1t_2t_3=q^{-1}. \end{gather*} In this paper we describe the finite-dimensional irreducible $\mathfrak H_q$-modules from many viewpoints and classify the finite-dimensional irreducible $\mathfrak H_q$-modules up to isomorphism. The proofs are carried out in the language of linear algebra.

DAHA-Jones polynomials of torus knots $T(r,s)$ are studied systematically for reduced root systems and in the case of $C^\vee C_1$. We prove the polynomiality and evaluation conjectures from the author's previous paper on torus knots and extend the theory by the color exchange and further symmetries. DAHA-Jones polynomials for $C^\vee C_1$ depend on $5$ parameters. Their surprising connection to the DAHA-superpolynomials (type $A$) for the knots $T(2p+1,2)$ is obtained, a remarkable combination of the color exchange conditions and the author's duality conjecture (justified by Gorsky and Negut)…

A theorem of Y. Berest, P. Etingof and V. Ginzburg states that finite dimensional irreducible representations of a type A rational Cherednik algebra are classified by one rational number m/n. Every such representation is a representation of the symmetric group S_n. We compare certain multiplicity spaces in its decomposition into irreducible representations of S_n with the spaces of differential forms on a zero-dimensional moduli space associated with the plane curve singularity x^m=y^n.
We consider the polynomial representation of Double Affine Hecke Algebras (DAHAs) and construct its submodules as ideals of functions vanishing on the special collections of affine planes. This generalizes certain results of Kasatani in types A_n, (C_n^\vee,C_n). We obtain commutative algebras of difference operators given by the action of invariant combinations of Cherednik-Dunkl operators in the corresponding quotient modules of the polynomial representation. This gives known and new generalized Macdonald-Ruijsenaars systems. Thus in the cases of DAHAs of types A_n and (C_n^\vee,C_n) we deri…
The most general construction of double affine Artin groups (DAAG) and Hecke algebras (DAHA) associates such objects to pairs of compatible reductive group data. We show that DAAG/DAHA always admit a faithful action by automorphisms of a finite index subgroup of the Artin group of type $A_{2}$, which descends to a faithful outer action of a congruence subgroup of $SL(2,\mathbb{Z})$ or $PSL(2,\mathbb{Z})$. This was previously known only in some special cases and, to the best of our knowledge, not even conjectured to hold in full generality. The structural intricacies of DAAG/DAHA are captured b…
A uniform parametrization for the irreducible spin representations of Weyl groups in terms of nilpotent orbits is recently achieved by Ciubotaru (2011). This paper is a generalization of this result to other real reflection groups. Let $(V_0, R, V_0^{\vee}, R^{\vee})$ be a root system with the real reflection group $W$. We define a special subset of points in $V_0^{\vee}$ which will be called solvable points. Those solvable points, in the case $R$ crystallographic, correspond to the nilpotent orbits whose elements have a solvable centralizer in the corresponding Lie algebra. Then a connection …
We study a connection between the representation theory of the rational Cherednik algebra of type $GL_n$ and the representation theory of the degenerate double affine Hecke algebra (the degenerate DAHA). We focus on an algebra embedding from the rational Cherednik algebra to the degenerate DAHA and investigate the induction functor through this embedding. We prove that this functor embeds the category ${\mathcal O}$ for the rational Cherednik algebra fully faithfully into the category ${\mathcal O}$ for the degenerate DAHA. We also study the full subcategory ${\mathcal O}^{ss}$ of ${\mathcal O…
Let $\Lg$ be a simple complex Lie algebra, we denote by $\Lhg$ the corresponding affine Kac--Moody algebra. Let $Λ_0$ be the additional fundamental weight of $\Lhg$. For a dominant integral $\Lg$--coweight $\lam^\vee$, the Demazure submodule $V_{-\lam^\vee}(m\Lam_0)$ is a $\Lg$--module. For any partition of $\lam^\vee=\sum_j \lam_j^\vee$ as a sum of dominant integral $\Lg$--coweights, the Demazure module is (as $\Lg$--module) isomorphic to $\bigotimes_j V_{-\lam^\vee_j}(m\Lam_0)$. For the ``smallest'' case, $\lam^\vee=\om^\vee$ a fundamental coweight, we provide for $\Lg$ of classical type a d…
It is shown that the description of certain class of representations of the holonomy Lie algebra associated to hyperplane arrangement $Δ$ is essentially equivalent to the classification of $\vee$-systems associated to $Δ.$ The flat sections of the corresponding $\vee$-connection can be interpreted as vector fields, which are both logarithmic and gradient. We conjecture that the hyperplane arrangement of any $\vee$-system is free in Saito's sense and show this for all known $\vee$-systems and for a special class of $\vee$-systems called harmonic, which includes all Coxeter systems. In the irred…
Let $G$ be a $\mathbb{Q}_p$-split reductive group with connected centre and Borel subgroup $B=TN$. We construct a right exact functor $D^\vee_Δ$ from the category of smooth modulo $p^n$ representations of $B$ to the category of projective limits of finitely generated étale $(φ,Γ)$-modules over a multivariable (indexed by the set of simple roots) commutative Laurent-series ring. These correspond to representations of a direct power of $\mathrm{Gal}(\overline{\mathbb{Q}_p}/\mathbb{Q}_p)$ via an equivalence of categories. Parabolic induction from a subgroup $P=L_PN_P$ corresponds to a basechange …
Let $ (G,K) $ be an irreducible Hermitian symmetric pair of non-compact type with $G=SU(p,q)$, and let $ λ$ be an integral weight such that the simple highest weight module $ L(λ) $ is a Harish-Chandra $ (\mathfrak{g},K) $-module. We give a combinatoric algorithm for the Gelfand-Kirillov dimension of $ L(λ) $. This enables us to prove that the Gelfand-Kirillov dimension of $ L(λ) $ decreases as the integer $ \langleλ+ρ,β^\vee\rangle $ increases, where $ρ$ is the half sum of positive roots and $β$ is the maximal noncompact root. As a byproduct, we obtain a description on the associated variety …
We compute the Picard group $ Pic(A_q) $ of the noncommutative algebraic 2-torus $A_q$, describe its action on the space $ R(A_q) $ of isomorphism classes of rk 1 projective modules and classify the algebras Morita equivalent to $ A_q $. Our computations are based on a quantum version of the Calogero-Moser correspondence relating projective $A_q$-modules to irreducible representations of the double affine Hecke algebras (DAHA) $ H_{t, q^{-1/2}}(S_n) $ at $ t = 1 $. We show that, under this correspondence, the action of $ Pic(A_q) $ on $ R(A_q) $ agrees with the action of $ SL_2(Z) $ on $ H_{t,…
We classify extended Poincaré Lie super algebras and Lie algebras of any signature (p,q), that is Lie super algebras and Z_2-graded Lie algebras g = g_0 + g_1, where g_0 = so(V) + V is the (generalized) Poincaré Lie algebra of the pseudo Euclidean vector space V = R^{p,q} of signature (p,q) and g_1 = S is the spinor so(V)-module extended to a g_0-module with kernel V. The remaining super commutators {g_1,g_1} (respectively, commutators [g_1, g_1]) are defined by an so(V)-equivariant linear mapping vee^2 g_1 -> V (respectively, wedge^2 g_1 -> V). Affine Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials on the subregular cell in non simply-laced Lie algebras: with an application to character formulae (with an appendix by Roman Bezrukavnikov, Vasily Krylov, and Kenta Suzuki)
Let $\mathfrak g$ be a finite dimensional split semisimple Lie algebra and $λ$ a weight of $\mathfrak g$. Let $F$ be the algebra of quantized regular functions on the connected simply connected group $G$ corresponding to $\mathfrak g$. In the present paper we introduce a certain subspace $F'$ of $F$ (which is not necessary a subalgebra of $F$) and endow it with an associative $\star$-product using the so-called reduced fusion element. We prove that the algebra $(F',\star)$ is isomorphic to $(L(λ))_{fin}$, where $L(λ)$ is the irreducible highest weight $\check{U}_q\mathfrak g$-module and "$fin$…
