Projective Geometric Algebra as a Subalgebra of Conformal Geometric algebra

We show that if PGA is understood as a subalgebra of CGA in mathematically correct sense, then the flat objects share the same representation in PGA and CGA. Particularly, we treat duality in PGA. This leads to unification of PGA and CGA objects which is important especially for software implementation and symbolic calculations.

Weighted projective spaces and minimal nilpotent orbits

We investigate (twisted) rings of differential operators on the resolution of singularities of a particular irreducible component of the (Zarisky) closure of the minimal orbit $\bar O_{\mathrm{min}}$ of $\mathfrak{sp}_{2n}$, intersected with the Borel subalgebra $\mathfrak n_+$ of $\mathfrak{sp}_{2n}$, using toric geometry and show that they are homomorphic images of a subalgebra of the Universal Enveloping Algebra (UEA) of $\mathfrak{sp}_{2n}$, which contains the maximal parabolic subalgebra $\mathfrak p$ determining the minimal nilpotent orbit. Lefschetz classes on projective varieties

The Lefschetz algebra $L^*(X)$ of a smooth complex projective variety $X$ is the subalgebra of the cohomology algebra of $X$ generated by divisor classes. We construct smooth complex projective varieties whose Lefschetz algebras do not satisfy analogues of the hard Lefschetz theorem and Poincaré duality.

Moduli of étale subalgebras in an Azumaya algebra

Let $A$ be a sheaf of Azumaya algebras over a Noetherian base $S$. In this paper we describe using generalized Severi-Brauer varieties, a quasi-projective moduli space parametrizing sheaves of ètale subalgebras of $A$. In the case that $S$ is the spectrum of a field, we study the geometry of this moduli space, and show that in certain cases it is a rational variety.

Small projective spaces and Stillman uniformity for sheaves

We prove an analogue of Ananyan--Hochster's small subalgebra theorem in the context of sheaves on projective space, and deduce from this a version of Stillman's Conjecture for cohomology tables of sheaves. The main tools in the proof are Draisma's GL-noetherianity theorem and the BGG correspondence.

Gelfand-Tsetlin algebras and cohomology rings of Laumon spaces

Laumon moduli spaces are certain smooth closures of the moduli spaces of maps from the projective line to the flag variety of GL_n. We calculate the equivariant cohomology rings of the Laumon moduli spaces in terms of Gelfand-Tsetlin subalgebra of U(gl_n), and formulate a conjectural answer for the small quantum cohomology rings in terms of certain commutative shift of argument subalgebras of U(gl_n).

Selfdual 4-Manifolds, Projective Surfaces, and the Dunajski-West Construction

I present a construction of real or complex selfdual conformal 4-manifolds (of signature (2,2) in the real case) from a natural gauge field equation on a real or complex projective surface, the gauge group being the group of diffeomorphisms of a real or complex 2-manifold. Quantum toroidal algebras and motivic Hall algebras I. Hall algebras for singular elliptic curves

We consider the motivic Hall algebra of coherent sheaves over an irreducible reduced projective curve of arithmetic genus $1$. We introduce the composition subalgebra in the singular curve case, and show that it is isomorphic to the composition subalgebra for a smooth elliptic curve. The universal enveloping algebra of any simple Lie algebra g contains a family of commutative subalgebras, called the quantum shift of argument subalgebras math.RT/0606380, math.QA/0612798. Composition algebra of a weighted projective line

In this article, we deal with properties of the reduced Drinfeld double of the composition subalgebra of the Hall algebra of the category of coherent sheaves on a weighted projective line.
