We compute the NLO QCD corrections to the loop-induced gluon fusion contribution in $W^+W^-$ production at the LHC. We consider the full leptonic process $pp\to \ell^+\ell^{\prime\, -}ν_{\ell}{\barν}_{\ell^\prime}+X$, by including resonant and non-resonant diagrams, spin correlations and off-shell effects. Quark-gluon partonic channels are included for the first time in the calculation, and our results are combined with NNLO predictions to the quark annihilation channel at the fully differential level. The computed corrections, which are formally of ${\cal O}(α_{\mathrm{S}}^3)$, increase the NNLO cross section by only about 2%, but have an impact on the shapes of kinematical distributions, in part due to the jet veto, which is usually applied to reduce the top-quark background. Our results, supplemented with NLO EW effects, provide the most advanced fixed-order predictions available to date for this process, and are compared with differential ATLAS data at $\sqrt{s}=$ 13 TeV.
We report on a technique for evaluating finite unitarity cut for one-loop amplitudes in gauge theories, and discuss its application to the cut-constructible part of six-gluon amplitude in QCD.
We have calculated the NLO corrections for the leading twist amplitude of the reaction $γ^*γ\toππ$ at large virtuality of the photon and at $W^2\ll Q^2$. With a simple model for the two-pion quark and gluon distribution amplitudes we have estimated that the NLO effects may reduce the leading-order amplitude by as much as 30%. We have found that besides the usual twist-2 quark and gluon operators the NLO amplitude receives contribution from a distribution associated with twist-2 tensor gluon operator. The new gluon distribution can be investigated by studying the azimuthal asymmetry of the cros…
We compare constraints on the gluon polarization in the nucleon obtained in next to leading order global QCD fits to polarized deep inelastic scattering data with those coming from observables more directly linked to the gluon polarization, such as the double spin asymmetry measured by Phenix at RHIC, and high-pT hadron production studied by COMPASS
In this paper we complete our calculation of the NLO jet vertex which is part of the cross section formulae for the production of Mueller Navelet jets at hadron hadron colliders and of forward jets in deep inelastic electron proton scattering.
We review the recent developments of the QCD shockwave approach at Next-to-Leading Order. The general method of this effective action is sketched, and illustrated by the case of diffractive processes.
High-mass diffractive production of protons on the deuteron target is studied in the next-to-leading order (NLO) of the perturbative QCD in the BFKL approach. The non-trivial part of the NLO contributions coming from the triple interactions of the exchanged reggeons is considered. Analytic formulas are presented and shown to be infrared free and so ready for practical calculation.
We report on the calculation of the cross section for Higgs boson production in association with three jets via gluon fusion, at next-to-leading-order (NLO) accuracy in QCD, in the infinite top-mass approximation. After including the complete NLO QCD corrections, we observe a strong reduction in the scale dependence of the result, and an increased steepness in the transverse momentum distributions of both the Higgs and the leading jets. The results are obtained with the combined use of GoSam, Sherpa, and the MadDipole/MadEvent framework.
A feasibility study to extract the polarised gluon density from di-jet events at HERA in next-to-leading order is presented. It is shown that when taking next-to-leading order effects into account the asymmetries at HERA remain measurable and sensitive to the polarised gluon distribution. They can be used to extract the polarised gluon density in the proton in the region 0.005<x_g<0.4.
We present the full NLO QCD corrections to the production of a W^+W^- pair in association with two jets in hadronic collisions, which is an important background to New Physics and Higgs boson searches. We include leptonic decays of the W-bosons with full spin correlations. We find NLO corrections of the order of 10% for standard cuts at the LHC. The scale dependence is considerably reduced by the NLO corrections.
We present predictions for the SM-Higgs-pair production channels of relevance at the LHC: gluon-gluon fusion, VBF, and top-pair, W, Z and single-top associated production. All these results are at the NLO accuracy in QCD, and matched to parton showers by means of the MC@NLO method; hence, they are fully differential. With the exception of the gluon-gluon fusion process, for which a special treatment is needed in order to improve upon the infinite-top-mass limit, our predictions are obtained in a fully automatic way within the publicly available MadGraph5_aMC@NLO framework. We show that for all…
The two loop (NLO) diagrams with quark content contributing to the gluon Regge trajectory are computed within the framework of Lipatov's effective action for QCD, using the regularization procedure for longitudinal divergencies recently proposed by two of us in http://arXiv.org/abs/arXiv:1110.6741. Perfect agreement with previous results in the literature is found, providing a robust check of the regularization prescription and showing that the high energy effective action is a very useful computational tool in the quasi-multi-Regge limit.
Feynman diagrams with two real partons contributing to the next-to-leading-order singlet gluon-quark DGLAP kernel are analysed. The infra-red singularities of unintegrated distributions are examined numerically. The analytical formulae are also given in some cases. The role of the colour coherence effects is found to be crucial for cancellations of the double- and single-logarithmic infra-red singularities.
We present a calculation of the NLO QCD corrections to the loop-induced production of a photon pair through gluon fusion, including massive top quarks at two loops, where the two-loop integrals are calculated numerically. Matching the fixed-order NLO results to a threshold expansion, we obtain accurate results around the top quark pair production threshold. We analyse how the top quark threshold corrections affect distributions of the photon pair invariant mass and comment on the possibility of determining the top quark mass from precision measurements of the diphoton invariant mass spectrum.
We compute fully differential next-to-leading order QCD cross-sections for Higgs boson production via gluon fusion in the Standard Model. We maintain the full dependence of the cross-sections on the top and bottom quark mass. We find that finite quark mass effects are important given the achieved precision of QCD predictions for gluon fusion. Our Monte-Carlo program, HPro, can correct existing NNLO fully differential calculations, which employ the approximation of an infinitely heavy top and a vanishing bottom quark Yukawa coupling, for heavy quark finite mass effects through NLO.
Details of the calculation of the non-forward BFKL kernel at next-to-leading order (NLO) are offered. Specifically we show the calculation of the two-gluon production contribution. This contribution was the last missing part of the kernel. Together with the NLO gluon Regge trajectory, the NLO contribution of one-gluon production and the contribution of quark-antiquark production which were found before it defines the kernel completely for any colour state in the $t$-channel, in particular the Pomeron kernel presented recently.
We present a next-to-leading order calculation of Higgs boson production via gluon fusion interfaced to shower Monte Carlo programs, implemented according to the POWHEG method. A detailed comparison with MC@NLO and PYTHIA is carried out for several observables, for the Tevatron and LHC colliders. Comparisons with next-to-next-to-leading order results and with resummed ones are also presented.
The observation of double and triple scalar boson production at hadron colliders could provide key information on the Higgs self couplings and the potential. As for single Higgs production the largest rates for multiple Higgs production come from gluon-gluon fusion processes mediated by a top-quark loop. However, at variance with single Higgs production, top-quark mass and width effects from the loops cannot be neglected. Computations including the exact top-quark mass dependence are only available at the leading order, and currently predictions at higher orders are obtained by means of approx…
We revisited excited leptons ($\bar{l^*}l$) production through gauge mediation only at LHC, followed by their two body decays into Standard Model (SM) particles. We include the next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD corrections to these processes. We have shown that these corrections can be substantial and significant. We also show that the scale dependence of the NLO cross section is greatly reduced as compare to leading order (LO) cross section.
We present the tree-level and next-to-leading order (NLO) electroweak (EW) contributions to squark-squark production at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) within the framework of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM).
The implementation of the full next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD corrections to electroweak Higgs boson plus three jet production at hadron colliders such as the LHC within the Matchbox NLO framework of the Herwig++ event generator is discussed. We present numerical results for integrated cross sections and kinematic distributions.
The dominant contribution to the Higgs production in association with bottom quark pair at the LHC is gluon-gluon fusion parton subprocess. We present a complete calculation of the next-to-leading order (NLO) electroweak (EW) corrections to this channel. The other small contributions with quarks in the initial state are calculated at tree level. We find that the NLO EW corrections can suppress the leading order (LO) contributions significantly.
We present the calculation at next-to-leading order (NLO) in alpha_s of the fragmentation function of a gluon into heavy quarkonium in the color-octet spin-singlet S-wave channel. To calculate the real NLO corrections, we adapt a subtraction scheme introduced by Frixione, Kunszt, and Signer. Ultraviolet and infrared divergences in the real NLO corrections are calculated analytically by evaluating the phase-space integrals of the subtraction terms using dimensional regularization. The subtracted phase-space integrals are then evaluated in 4 space-time dimensions. The divergences in the virtual …
We explore the reach of a 100 TeV proton collider to discover KK gluons in a warped extra dimension. These particles are templates for color adjoint vectors that couple dominantly to the top quark. We examine their production rate at NLO in the six-flavor m-ACOT scheme for a variety of reference models defining their coupling to quarks, largely inspired by the RS model of a warped extra dimension. In agreement with previous calculations aimed at lower energy machines, we find that the NLO corrections are typically negative, resulting in a $K$-factor of around 0.7 (depending on the model) and w…
We present fully differential next-to-leading order results for Higgs production in association with a $Z$ boson in gluon fusion. Our two-loop virtual contributions are evaluated numerically using sector decomposition, including full top-quark mass effects, and supplemented at high $p_T$ by an analytic high-energy expansion to order ($m_Z^4, m_H^4, m_t^{32}$). Using the expanded results we also present a study of the top-quark mass scheme uncertainty at large $p_T$.
We study the production of Higgs boson pairs via gluon fusion at the LHC in the Two-Higgs-Doublet Model. We present predictions at NLO accuracy in QCD, matched to parton showers through the MC@NLO method. A dedicated reweighting technique is used to improve the NLO calculation upon the infinite top-mass limit. We perform our calculation within the MadGraph5_aMC@NLO framework, along with the 2HDM implementation based on the NLOCT package. The inclusion of the NLO corrections leads to large K-factors and significantly reduced theoretical uncertainties. We examine the seven 2HDM Higgs pair combin…
The study of the Higgs boson properties is one of the main tasks of contemporary high-energy physics. Among Higgs properties, its interaction with gluons is interesting since it can be facilitated by yet unknown elementary particles. One of the major sources of uncertainty in the theoretical description of $ggH$ coupling originates from mixed QCD-electroweak contributions. The NLO QCD corrections to these contributions were evaluated in the approximation where electroweak boson masses were considered to be significantly larger than the mass of the Higgs boson and it is desirable to compute the…
We present the complete next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD and NLO electroweak (EW) corrections to the $W$-boson pair production associated with a hard jet at the LHC including the spin correlated $W$-boson leptonic decays. The dependence of the leading order (LO) and NLO corrected cross sections on the jet transverse momentum cut is investigated. In dealing with the subsequent resonant $W$-boson decays, we adopt the {\sc MadSpin} method where the spin correlation effect is included. We also provide the LO and NLO corrected distributions of the transverse momenta and rapidities of final products.…
We discuss aspects of our recent derivation of the gluon Regge trajectory at two loop from Lipatov's high energy effective action. We show how the gluon Regge trajectory can be rigorously defined through renormalization of the high energy divergence of the reggeized gluon propagator. We furthermore provide some details on the determination of the two-loop reggeized gluon self-energy.
In this paper we present the NLO QCD + NLO EW corrections to the $ZZZ$ production with subsequent $Z$-boson leptonic decays at the LHC by adopting the improved narrow width approximation, which takes into account off-shell contributions and spin correlations. Integrated cross sections at $13$, $14$, $33$ and $100~{\rm TeV}$ hadron colliders and various kinematic distributions are presented. Our numerical results show that the jet emission correction accounts for a large part of the total QCD correction, especially in the high energy region. By applying a proper cut to the jet transverse moment…
The tri-boson production is one of the key processes for the study of quartic gauge couplings. Next-to-leading order (NLO) corrections are mandatory to reduce theoretical uncertainties. In this study, the most up-to-date predictions including NLO QCD and NLO EW corrections to the total cross section and distributions of the WWZ production at the LHC are presented. We show that the QCD correction is about 100% and the EW correction is of a few percent at the total cross section level. The EW correction however becomes significant in the high energy regime of the gauge boson transverse momentum …
The new methodology of adding QCD NLO corrections in the initial state Monte Carlo parton shower (hard process part) is presented using process of the heavy boson production at the LHC as an example. Despite the simplified model of the process, presented numerical results prove that the basic concept of the new methodology works correctly in the numerical environment of the Monte Carlo parton shower event generator. The presented method is an alternative to the well established methods, MC@NLO and POWHEG. Refinements of the new method with better computer CPU time efficiency are also discussed…
Novel PDFs taking into account resummation-improved matrix elements, albeit only in the fit of a reduced data set, allow for consistent NLO+NLL calculations of slepton pair production at the LHC. We apply a factorisation method to this process that minimises the effect of the data set reduction, avoids the problem of outlier replicas in the NNPDF method for PDF uncertainties and preserves the reduction of the scale uncertainty. For Run II of the LHC, left-handed selectron/smuon, right-handed and maximally mixed stau production, we confirm that the consistent use of threshold-improved PDFs part…
In this paper we study the Single Top and W boson associated photoproduction via the main reaction $\rm pp\rightarrow pγp\rightarrow pW^{\pm}t+Y$ at the 14 TeV Large Hadron Collider (LHC) up to next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD level assuming a typical LHC multipurpose forward detector. We use the Five-Flavor-Number Schemes (5FNS) with massless bottom quark assumption in the whole calculation. Our results show that the QCD NLO corrections can reduce the scale uncertainty. The typical K-factors are in the range of 1.15 to 1.2 which lead to the QCD NLO corrections of 15$%$ to 20$%$ correspond to t…
We present the calculation of the cross section and invariant mass distribution for Higgs boson pair production in gluon fusion at next-to-leading order (NLO) in QCD. Top-quark masses are fully taken into account throughout the calculation. The virtual two-loop amplitude has been generated using an extension of the program GoSam supplemented with an interface to Reduze for the integral reduction. The occurring integrals have been calculated numerically using the program SecDec. Our results, including the full top-quark mass dependence for the first time, allow us to assess the validity of vari…
In this talk we present results of our recent calculations of cross sections and distributions for the associate production of top-antitop quark pairs with a heavy boson (Higgs, W, Z) at the LHC, obtained using threshold resummation in direct QCD, i.e. in the Mellin-space approach.
We consider the gluon fusion production cross section of a scalar Higgs boson in models where fermion and scalar massive colored particles are present. We report analytic expressions for the matrix elements of $gg\to Hg$, $q\bar{q}\to Hg$, and $qg\to Hq$ processes completing the calculation of the NLO QCD corrections in these extended scenarios. The formulas are written in a complete general case, allowing a flexible use for different theoretical models. Applications of our results to two different models are presented: i) a model in which the SM Higgs sector is augmented by a weak doublet sca…
We report on state-of-the-art theoretical predictions for $pp\to t\bar{t}b\bar{b}$ including full off-shell effects in the di-lepton decay channel at NLO QCD accuracy. We briefly discuss the impact of NLO QCD corrections on differential distributions and also asses theoretical uncertainties from scale and PDF dependence. Furthermore, we propose a simple kinematic reconstruction in order to distinguish $b$ jets originating from top-quark decays from arising from gluon splittings.
The high luminosity that will be accumulated at the LHC will enable precise differential measurements of the hadronic production of a top--antitop-quark pair in association with a $\text{W}$ boson. Therefore, an accurate description of this process is needed for realistic final states. In this work we combine for the first time the NLO QCD and electroweak corrections to the full off-shell $\text{t}\overline{\text{t}}{\text{W}}^+$ production at the LHC in the three-charged-lepton channel, including all spin correlations, non-resonant effects, and interferences. To this end, we have computed the…
Higgs boson pair production is considered at next-to-leading order with special emphasis on the effect of a finite top quark mass. It is shown that, unlike for single-Higgs boson production, power-suppressed corrections are numerically important.
We compute the total cross section and the transverse momentum distribution for single charged slepton and sneutrino production at hadronic colliders including NLO supersymmetric and non-supersymmetric QCD corrections. The supersymmetric QCD corrections can be substantial. We also resum the gluon transverse momentum distribution and compare our results with two Monte Carlo generators. We compute branching ratios of the supersymmetric decays of the slepton and determine event rates for the like-sign dimuon final state at the Tevatron and at the LHC.
We present the first calculation at next-to-leading order (NLO) in $α_s$ of a fragmentation function into quarkonium whose form at leading order is a nontrivial function of $z$, namely the fragmentation function for a gluon into a spin-singlet S-wave state at leading order in the relative velocity. To calculate the real NLO corrections, we introduce a new subtraction scheme that allows the phase-space integrals to be evaluated in 4 dimensions. We extract all ultraviolet and infrared divergences in the real NLO corrections analytically by calculating the phase-space integrals of the subtraction…
The process $pp \to W^+W^+jj$ gives rise to an exotic Standard Model signature at the LHC, involving high-$p_{\perp}$ like-sign leptons, missing energy and jets. In this brief article the motivation for study, along with selected results from the computation of NLO QCD corrections to the QCD-mediated part of this process\cite{us} are presented. It is shown that the corrections reduce the dependence of the cross-section on renormalisation and factorisation scales, and produce a relatively hard third jet in a significant fraction of events.
We calculate the next-to-leading order inclusive total cross sections for the associated production processes $pp\to \tilde{t}_i\tildeχ_k^-+X$ in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model at the CERN LHC. Our results provide the theoretical predictions for the total cross sections for the above processes. The NLO QCD corrections in general enhance the leading order total cross sections significantly, and vastly reduce the dependence of the total cross sections on the renormalization/factorization scale, which leads to increased confidence in predictions based on these results.
The calculation of NLO QCD corrections to the production cross section of two bottom pairs at the LHC is briefly summarized. We describe the pp -> b anti-b b anti-b+X process both in the 4-flavor and 5-flavor scheme and investigate the effect of the finite bottom quark mass. The results for the total cross section and a few differential distributions are presented. They have been obtained with the Nagy-Soper subtraction formalism for real radiation at NLO. A comparison with results based on the traditional Catani-Seymour subtraction is also included.
We provide the complete set of predictions needed to achieve NLO accuracy in the Standard Model Effective Field Theory at dimension six for Higgs production in gluon fusion. In particular, we compute for the first time the contribution of the chromomagnetic operator $ \bar Q_L Φσq_R G$ at NLO in QCD, which entails two-loop virtual and one-loop real contributions, as well as renormalisation and mixing with the Yukawa operator $Φ^\dagger Φ\, \bar Q_L Φq_R$ and the gluon-fusion operator $Φ^\dagger Φ\, GG$. Focusing on the top-quark-Higgs couplings, we consider the phenomenological impact of the N…
We present the next-to-leading order QCD corrections to the associated production of the vector gauge boson ($Z/W^\pm$) and the graviton in the large extra dimension model at the LHC. We estimate the impact of the QCD corrections on the total cross sections as well as the differential distributions of the gauge bosons and find that they are significant. We also study the dependence of the cross sections on the arbitrary factorization scale and show the reduction in the scale uncertainties at NLO level. Further, we discuss the ultraviolet sensitivity of the theoretical predictions.
In this paper we present the full NLO QCD + NLO EW corrections to the $Z$-boson pair production in association with a hard jet at the LHC. The subsequent $Z$-boson leptonic decays are included by adopting both the naive NWA and MadSpin methods for comparison. Since the $ZZ+{\rm jet}$ production is an important background for single Higgs boson production and new physics search at hadron colliders, the theoretical predictions with high accuracy for the hadronic production of $ZZ+{\rm jet}$ are necessary. We present the numerical results of the integrated cross section and various kinematic dist…
The next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD corrections to top anti-top bottom anti-bottom (tTbB) production at the LHC reveal that the scale choice adopted in previous lowest-order simulations underestimates the tTbB cross section by a factor two. We discuss a new dynamical scale that stabilizes the perturbative predictions and describe the impact of the corrections on the shape of distributions. We also account for the techniques employed to compute the six-particle one-loop amplitudes with high CPU efficiency.
We consider QCD radiative corrections to the production of four charged leptons in hadron collisions. We present the computation of the next-to-leading order QCD corrections to the loop-induced gluon fusion contribution. Our predictions include, for the first time, also the quark-gluon partonic channels. The computed corrections, which are formally of ${\cal O}(α_{\rm s}^3)$, turn out to increase the loop-induced Born-level result by an amount ranging from 75% to 71% as $\sqrt{s}$ ranges from 8 to 13 TeV. We combine our result with state-of-the-art NNLO corrections to the quark annihilation ch…
In this paper we calculate the next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD $[{\cal O}(α_s α^3)]$ and electroweak (EW) $[{\cal O}(α^4)]$ corrections to the $WWW$ production at the LHC and deal with the subsequent leptonic decays from $W$ bosons by adopting an improved narrow-width approximation which takes into account the spin correlation and finite-width effects. The NLO QCD correction from the real jet radiation is discussed, which significantly enhances the production rate, particularly in the high-energy region. We also provide the integrated cross section for the $WWW$ production and various kinemati…
We investigate the sea quark polarization in the nucleon by means of a combined next to leading order analysis to the recently enlarged set of inclusive and semi-inclusive polarized deep inelastic scattering data. Using the Lagrange multiplier method, we asses the uncertainty inherent to the extraction of the different spin dependent parton densities in a QCD global fit, and the impact of the increased set of semi-inclusive data now available. We comment on future prospects at RHIC and JLAB and their potential impact in the future determination of polarized parton densities.
The interpretation of experimental measurements at the LHC requires accurate theoretical predictions for exclusive observables, and in particular the summation of soft and collinear radiation to all orders in perturbation theory. We report on recent progress towards the automated calculation of multi-parton LHC cross sections at next-to-leading order in QCD, including the summation of next-to-leading logarithmic corrections through the combination with parton showers.
We address the problem of decomposing graphs in perturbative QCD into terms associated with particular regions. Motivated by asking how to incorporate next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD corrections in parton-shower algorithms, we require that: (a) The integrand for the hard part is to be integrable even if the corrections are applied to a process that is not infrared and collinear safe. (b) The splitting between the terms should be defined gauge-invariantly. (c) The dependence on cut-offs should obey homogeneous evolution equations. In the context of one-gluon-emission graphs for deep inelastic s…
This paper is a follow-up of Ref.~\cite{Ravasio:2018lzi}, where we studied the impact of next-to-leading order calculations merged with parton shower generators (NLO+PS) of increasing accuracy in the extraction of the top mass at hadron colliders. Here we examined results obtained with the older (fortran-based) shower generators Pythia6.4 and Herwig6.5. Our findings are in line with what we found in our previous paper with the new, c++-based, generators Pythia8.2 and Herwig7.1.
The single vector-like top partner hadroproduction in association with top quark in the five and the six-flavour schemes at the LHC is investigated. The inclusive cross section and the differential distributions are evaluated for many benchmark scenarios at leading and next-to-leading orders, both for fixed-order and fixed-order matched to parton shower. The associated Higgs production with a top quark pair, where the final state arises from the decay of the vector-like top partner into a Higgs boson and a top quark, is examined.
The small-$x$ deep inelastic scattering in the saturation region is governed by the non-linear evolution of Wilson-line operators. In the leading logarithmic approximation it is given by the BK equation for the evolution of color dipoles. In the next-to-leading order the BK equation gets contributions from quark and gluon loops as well as from the tree gluon diagrams with quadratic and cubic nonlinearities. We calculate the gluon contribution to small-x evolution of Wilson lines (the quark part was obtained earlier).
We report on studies of next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD corrections to the process $pp\rightarrow e^+ν_eμ^+ν_μjj$ which is associated with vector-boson fusion (VBF) production of an intermediate $W^+W^+$ pair. The impact of s-channel diagrams and interference contributions in VBF kinematics is analyzed at leading order (LO) and found to be entirely negligible. The NLO corrections are around 5% of the LO cross section, and the scale dependence is reduced to about ~1%. We introduce a dynamic scale which improves the K factor in the high-energy tails of the distributions.
Presented are complete electroweak (EW) corrections at ${\cal O}(αα_{\mathrm s}^{\mathrm 2})$ to top-squark pair production at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) within the framework of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM). At this order, effects from the interference of EW and QCD contributions have to be taken into account. Also photon-induced top-squark production is considered as additionnal partonic channel which arises from the non-zero photon density in the proton. Furthermore, the impact of MSSM parameters on the EW corrections is analyzed.
A short summary of results for top-quark pair production in association with a jet with NLO QCD off-shell effects at the LHC is given. The calculation is based on the matrix element for the $pp \to e^+ ν_e μ^-\barν_μb\bar{b} j$ process. All quantum effects are properly accounted for, which amounts to including all Feynman diagrams that result in this final state with interference effects as well as non-zero top-quark width effects. Results for total cross sections and a few differential distributions at the LHC Run1 energy of $\sqrt{s}=8$ TeV are presented. In addition, the size of top-quark o…
