In this paper, we prove an existence result for Kähler-Einstein metrics on $\mathbb Q$-Fano compactifications of Lie groups. As an application, we classify $\mathbb Q$-Fano compactifications of $SO_4(\mathbb C)$ which admit a Kähler-Einstein metric with the same volume as that of a smooth Fano compactification of $SO_4(\mathbb C)$.

We introduce a class of almost homogeneous varieties contained in the class of spherical varieties and containing horospherical varieties as well as complete symmetric varieties. We study fundamental groups of toroidal compactifications of non compact ball quotients and show that the Shafarevich conjecture on holomorphic convexity for these complex projective manifolds is satisfied in dimension 2 provided the corresponding lattice is arithmetic and small enough. The method is to show that the Albanese mapping on an {é}tale covering space generates jets on the interior, if the lattice is small enough. We also explore some specific examples of Picard-Eisenstein type.
In this note, we give a way to classify $\mathbb Q$-Fano compactifications of a semisimple group $G$. We will prove that there are only finitely many such $\mathbb Q$-Fano $G$-compactifications, which admits (singular) Kähler-Einstein metrics. As an application, this improves a former result in arXiv:2001.11320.
We exhibit the first non-trivial concrete examples of Gromov-Hausdorff compactifications of moduli spaces of Kähler-Einstein Fano manifolds in all complex dimensions bigger than two (Fano K-moduli spaces). In this paper, we prove that any solution of Kähler-Ricci flow on a Fano compactification $M$ of semisimple complex Lie group, is of type II, if $M$ admits no Kähler-Einstein metrics. In this paper, we study Mabuchi's K-energy on a compactification M of a reductive Lie group G, which is a complexification of its maximal compact subgroup K. We give a criterion for the properness of K-energy on the space of K \times K-invariant Kahler potentials. In particular, it turns to give an alternative proof of Delcroix's theorem for the existence of Kahler-Einstein metrics in case of Fano manifolds M . We also study the existence of minimizers of K-energy for general Kahler classes of M.
In this paper, we study Mabuchi metrics on Fano manifolds. We prove that Mabuchi metrics exist if the modified Ding functional is proper modulo a reductive subgroup of its automorphism group. On the other hand, the inverse that Mabuchi metrics implies the properness is obtained by using Darvas-Rubinstein's properness principle. As an application, we establish a criterion for the existence of Mabuchi metrics on Fano group compactifications.
