We provide a few natural applications of the analytic newvectors, initiated in \cite{JN} arXiv:1911.01880, to some analytic questions in automorphic forms for $\mathrm{PGL}_n(\mathbb{Z})$ with $n\ge 2$, in the archimedean analytic conductor aspect. We prove an orthogonality result of the Fourier coefficients, a density estimate of the non-tempered forms, an equidistribution result of the Satake parameters with respect to the Sato--Tate measure, and a second moment estimate of the central $L$-values as strong as Lindelöf on average. We also prove the random matrix prediction about the distribution of the low-lying zeros of automorphic $L$-function in the analytic conductor aspect. The new ideas of the proofs include the use of analytic newvectors to construct an approximate projector on the automorphic spectrum with bounded conductors and a soft local (both at finite and infinite places) analysis of the geometric side of the Kuznetsov trace formula.
We relate the analytic conductor of a generic irreducible representation of $\mathrm{GL}_n(\mathbb{R})$ to the invariance properties of vectors in that representation. The relationship is an analytic archimedean analogue of some aspects of the classical non-archimedean newvector theory of Casselman and Jacquet--Piatetski-Shapiro--Shalika. We illustrate how this relationship may be applied in trace formulas to majorize sums over automorphic forms on $\mathrm{PGL}_n(\mathbb{Z}) \backslash \mathrm{PGL}_n(\mathbb{R})$ ordered by analytic conductor.
We prove an asymptotic expansion of the second moment of the central values of the $\mathrm{GL}(n)\times\mathrm{GL}(n)$ Rankin--Selberg $L$-functions $L(1/2,π\otimesπ_0)$, for a fixed cuspidal automorphic representation $π_0$, over the family of $π$ with analytic conductors bounded by a quantity which is tending off to infinity. Our proof uses the integral representations of the $L$-functions, period with regularized Eisenstein series, and the invariance properties of the analytic newvectors.
Let $E/\mathbb{Q}$ be a semistable elliptic curve such that $\mathrm{ord}_{s=1}L(E,s) = 1$. We prove the $p$-part of the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer formula for $E/\mathbb{Q}$ for each prime $p \geq 5$ of good reduction such that $E[p]$ is irreducible: $$ \mathrm{ord}_p \left (\frac{L'(E,1)}{Ω_E\cdot\mathrm{Reg}(E/\mathbb{Q})} \right ) = \mathrm{ord}_p \left (\#\mathrm{Sha}(E/\mathbb{Q})\prod_{\ell\leq \infty} c_\ell(E/\mathbb{Q}) \right ). $$ This formula also holds for $p=3$ provided $a_p(E)=0$ if $E$ has supersingular reduction at $p$.
In the present paper, we first construct a pairing on the space of analytic distributions associated with $\mathrm{GSp}_{2g}$. By considering the overconvergent parabolic cohomology groups and following the work of Johansson--Newton, we construct the cuspidal eigenvariety for $\mathrm{GSp}_{2g}$. The pairing on the analytic distributions then induces a pairing on some coherent sheaves of the cuspidal eigenvariety. As an application, we follow the strategy of Bellaïche to study the ramification locus of the cuspidal eigenvariety over the corresponding weight space.
We introduce a certain ring of rigid-analytic distributions on $p$-adic weight space (modulo torsion) and show that it is canonically isomorphic to Colmez's ring $B_{\mathrm{Sen}}$.
We define canonical real analytic versions of modular forms of integral weight for the full modular group, generalising real analytic Eisenstein series. They are harmonic Maass waveforms with poles at the cusp, whose Fourier coefficients involve periods and quasi-periods of cusp forms, which are conjecturally transcendental. In particular, we settle the question of finding explicit `weak harmonic lifts' for every eigenform of integral weight $k$ and level one. We show that mock modular forms of integral weight are algebro-geometric and have Fourier coefficients proportional to $n^{1-k}(a'_n + …

We study some closed rigid subspaces of the eigenvarieties, constructed by using the Jacquet-Emerton functor for parabolic non-Borel subgroups. As an application (and motivation), we prove some new results on Breuil's locally analytic socle conjecture for $\mathrm{GL}_n(\mathbb{Q}_p)$.
We combine Zagier's theory of renormalizable automorphic functions on the hyperbolic plane with the analytic continuation of representations of $\mathrm{SL}(2,\mathbb{R})$ due to Bernstein and Reznikov to study triple products of Eisenstein series of arbitrary (in particular, non-arithmetic) non-compact finite-volume hyperbolic surfaces.
Let $p>2$ be a prime number, and $L$ be a finite extension of $\mathbb{Q}_p$, we prove Breuil's locally analytic socle conjecture for $\mathrm{GL}_2(L)$, showing the existence of all the companion points on the definite (patched) eigenvariety. This work relies on infinitesimal "R=T" results for the patched eigenvariety and the comparison of (partially) de Rham families and (partially) Hodge-Tate families. This method allows in particular to find companion points of non-classical points.
Let $\mathbf{B}(V)$ be the admissible unitary $GL_2(\mathbb{Q}_p)$-representation associated to two dimensional crystalline Galois representation $V$ by $p$-adic Langlands constructed by Breuil. Berger and Breuil conjectured an explicit description of the locally analytic vectors $\mathbf{B}(V)_{\mathrm{la}}$ of $\mathbf{B}(V)$ which is now proved by Liu. Emerton recently studied $p$-adic representations from the viewpoint of rigid analytic geometry. In this article, we consider certain rigid analytic subgroups of $GL(2)$ and give an explicit description of the rigid analytic vectors in $\math…
Studying the analytic properties of the partial Langlands $L$-function via Rankin-Selberg method has been proved to be successful in various cases. Yet in few cases is the local theory studied at the archimedean places, which causes a tremendous gap to complete the analytic theory of the complete $L$-function. In this paper, we will establish the meromorphic continuation and the functional equation of the archimedean local integrals associated with D. Ginzburg's global integral for the adjoint representation of $\mathrm{GL}_3$. Via the local functional equation, the local gamma factor $Γ(s,π,\…
We construct a motivic homotopy theory for rigid analytic varieties with the rigid analytic affine line $\mathbb{A} ^1_\mathrm{rig}$ as an interval object. This motivic homotopy theory is inspired from, but not equal to, Ayoub's motivic homotopy theory for rigid analytic varieties. Working in the so constructed homotopy theory, we prove that a homotopy classification of vector bundles of rank $n$ over rigid analytic quasi-Stein spaces follows from $\mathbb{A}^1_\mathrm{rig}$-homotopy invariance of vector bundles. This $\mathbb{A}^1_\mathrm{rig}$-homotopy invariance is equivalent to a rigid ana…
We prove automorphy lifting results for certain essentially conjugate self-dual $p$-adic Galois representations $ρ$ over CM imaginary fields $F$, which satisfy in particular that $p$ splits in $F$, and that the restriction of $ρ$ on any decomposition group above $p$ is reducible with all the Jordan-Hölder factors of dimension at most $2$. We also show some results on Breuil's locally analytic socle conjecture in certain non-trianguline case. The main results are obtained by establishing an $R=\mathbb{T}$-type result over the $\mathrm{GL}_2(\mathbb{Q}_p)$-ordinary families considered by Breuil-…
Let $ρ_p$ be a $3$-dimensional $p$-adic semi-stable representation of $\mathrm{Gal}(\overline{\mathbb{Q}_p}/\mathbb{Q}_p)$ with Hodge-Tate weights $(0,1,2)$ (up to shift) and such that $N^2\ne 0$ on $D_{\mathrm{st}}(ρ_p)$. When $ρ_p$ comes from an automorphic representation $π$ of $G(\mathbb{A}_{F^+})$ (for a unitary group $G$ over a totally real field $F^+$ which is compact at infinite places and $\mathrm{GL}_3$ at $p$-adic places), we show under mild genericity assumptions that the associated Hecke-isotypic subspaces of the Banach spaces of $p$-adic automorphic forms on $G(\mathbb{A}_{F^+}^\…
In arXiv:2011.03313, the author has constructed a category of abstractly automorphic representations for $\mathrm{GL}(2)$ over a function field $F$. This is a symmetric monoidal Abelian category, constructed with the goal of having the irreducible automorphic representations as its simple objects. The goal of this paper is to systematically study this category. We will prove several structural theorems about this category. We will show that it admits an adjoint pair $(r^\mathrm{aut},i^\mathrm{aut})$ of automorphic parabolic restriction and induction functors, respectively. This will allow us t…
