A methane line list for the HITEMP spectroscopic database, covering 0-13,400 cm$^{-1}$ ($>$746 nm), is presented. To create this compilation, ab initio line lists of $^{12}$CH$_{4}$ from Rey et al. (2017) ApJ, 847, 105 (provided at separate temperatures in the TheoReTS information system), are now combined with HITRAN2016 methane data to produce a single line list suitable for high-temperature line-by-line calculations up to 2000 K. An effective-temperature interpolation model was created in order to represent continuum-like features at any temperature of interest. This model is advantageous to previously-used approaches that employ so-called ``super-lines'', which are suitable only at a given temperature and require separate line lists for different temperatures. The resultant HITEMP line list contains $\sim$32 million lines and is significantly more flexible than alternative line lists of methane, while accuracy required for astrophysical or combustion applications is retained. Comparisons against experimental observations of methane absorption at high temperatures have been used to demonstrate the accuracy of the new work. The line list includes both strong lines and quasi-continuum features and is provided in the common user-friendly HITRAN/HITEMP format, making it the most practical methane line list for radiative transfer modeling at high-temperature conditions.
This work describes the update of NO along with the incorporation of NO$_{2}$ and N$_{2}$O to the HITEMP database. Where appropriate, the HITRAN line lists for the same molecules have also been updated. This work brings the current number of molecules provided by HITEMP to seven. The initial line lists originating from \textit{ab initio} and semi-empirical methods for each molecule have been carefully validated against available observations and, where necessary, adjustments have been made to match observations. We anticipate this work will be applied to a variety of high-temperature environme…
New line lists are presented for the two most abundant water isotopologues; H$_{2}$$^{16}$O and H$_{2}$$^{18}$O. The H$_{2}$$^{16}$O line list extends to 25710 cm$^{-1}$ with intensity stabilities provided via ratios of calculated intensities obtained from two different semi-empirical potential energy surfaces. The line list for H$_{2}$$^{18}$O extends to 20000 cm$^{-1}$. The minimum intensity considered for all is $10^{-30}$ cm molecule$^{-1}$ at 296~K, assuming 100\% abundance for each isotopologue. Fluctuation of calculated intensities caused by changes in the underlying potential energy ar…
Molecular line lists are important for modelling absorption and emission processes in atmospheres of different astronomical objects, such as cool stars and exoplanets. In order to be applicable for high temperatures, line lists for molecules like methane must contain billions of transitions, which makes their direct (line-by-line) application in radiative transfer calculations impracticable. Here we suggest a new, hybrid line list format to mitigate this problem, based on the idea of temperature-dependent absorption continuum. The line list is partitioned into a large set of relatively weak li…
Line lists for the ground electronic ground state for six major isotopologues of nitric oxide are presented. The line lists are constructed using empirical energy levels (and line positions) and high-level {\it ab inito} intensities. The energy levels were obtained using a combination of two approaches, from an effective Hamiltonian and from solving the rovibronic Schrödinger equation variationally. The effective hamiltonian model was obtained through a fit to the experimental line positions of NO available in the literature for all six isotopologues using the programs SPFIT and SPCAT. The var…
Atmospheric Modelling for Neptune's Methane D/H Ratio - Preliminary Results
VSTAR(Versatile Software for the Transfer of Atmospheric Radiation)和大气拟合软件ATMOF(Atmospheric Fitting)导出的。

We present Gemini South/IGRINS observations of the 1060 K T6 dwarf 2MASS J08173001$-$6155158 with unprecedented resolution ($R\equivλ/Δλ=45\,000$) and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR > 200) for a late-type T dwarf. We use this benchmark observation to test the reliability of molecular line lists used up-to-date atmospheric models. We determine which spectroscopic regions should be used to estimate the parameters of cold brown dwarfs and, by extension, exoplanets. We present a detailed spectroscopic atlas with molecular identifications across the $H$ and $K$ bands of the near-infrared. We find that …
We report the first detection of a hydroxyl radical (OH) emission signature in the planetary atmosphere outside the solar system, in this case, in the day-side of WASP-33b. We analyze high-resolution near-infrared emission spectra of WASP-33b taken using the InfraRed Doppler spectrograph on the 8.2-m Subaru telescope. The telluric and stellar lines are removed using a de-trending algorithm, SysRem. The residuals are then cross-correlated with OH and H$_{2}$O planetary spectrum templates produced using several different line-lists. We check and confirm the accuracy of OH line-lists by cross-cor…
Computing and using opacities is a key part of modeling and interpreting data of exoplanetary atmospheres. Since the underlying spectroscopic line lists are constantly expanding and currently include up to ~ 10^10 - 10^11 transition lines, the opacity calculator codes need to become more powerful. Here we present major upgrades to the HELIOS-K GPU-accelerated opacity calculator and describe the necessary steps to process large line lists within a reasonable amount of time. Besides performance improvements, we include more capabilities and present a toolbox for handling different atomic and mol…
A publicly available database of opacities for molecules of astrophysical interest, ExoMolOP, has been compiled for over 80 species, based on the latest line list data from the ExoMol, HITEMP and MoLLIST databases. These data are generally suitable for characterising high temperature exoplanet or cool stellar/substellar atmospheres, and have been computed at a variety of pressures and temperatures, with a few molecules included at room-temperature only from the HITRAN database. The data are formatted in different ways for four different exoplanet atmosphere retrieval codes; ARCiS, TauREx, NEME…
