We revisit the gauge hierarchy problem with the emphasis on the chiral property of the Standard Model. We present a model realizing a gauge hierarchy. Along this line, we also comment briefly on the "very light" axions and the upper bound on $θ_{\rm QCD}$.

From Linear to Non-linear SUSY and Back Again

We show that couplings of the goldstino field, appearing when global supersymmetry is broken, can always be described in superspace by means of a nilpotent chiral superfield $X$, satisfying $X^2=0$. This applies to both F-term and D-term supersymmetry breaking, even when the supersymmetry breaking model admits a linear description.

Vacuum stability in neutrinophilic Higgs doublet model

A neutrinophilic Higgs model has tiny vacuum expectation value (VEV), which can naturally explain tiny masses of neutrinos. There is a large energy scale hierarchy between a VEV of the neutrinophilic Higgs doublet and that of usual standard model-like Higgs doublet. Emergent gauge theories and supersymmetry: a QED primer

We argue that a generic trigger for photon and other gauge fields to emerge as massless Nambu-Goldstone modes could be spontaneously broken supersymmetry rather than physically manifested Lorentz violation. We consider supersymmetric QED model extended by an arbitrary polynomial potential of vector superfield that induces the spontaneous SUSY violation in the visible sector. Q-ball decay through A-term in the gauge-mediated SUSY breaking scenario

Q-balls are non-topological solitons whose classical stability is ensured by a global $U(1)$ charge. In particular, Q-balls are produced in the framework of the Affleck-Dine baryogenesis where $U(1)$ charge is the baryon number. Since some type of Q-balls is stable against quantum decay into nucleons, it can work as the dark matter. When the dark matter Q-balls are captured into the neutron star, they absorb the surrounding neutrons and grow to consume all the neutrons, which leads to a stringent constraint on the Q-ball dark matter. AdS-phobia, the WGC, the Standard Model and Supersymmetry

It has been recently argued that an embedding of the SM into a consistent theory of quantum gravity may imply important constraints on the mass of the lightest neutrino and the cosmological constant $Λ_{4}$. N = 2 Supersymmetry in a Hybrid Inflation Model

The slow roll inflation requires an extremely flat inflaton potential. The supersymmetry (SUSY) is not only motivated from the gauge hierarchy problem, but also from stabilizing that flatness of the inflaton potential against radiative corrections. However, it has been known that the Planck suppressed higher order terms in the Kähler potential receive large radiative corrections loosing the required flatness in the N = 1 supergravity. Folded Supersymmetry with a Twist

Folded supersymmetry (f-SUSY) stabilizes the weak scale against radiative corrections from the top sector via scalar partners whose gauge quantum numbers differ from their Standard Model counterparts.
