The standard model (SM) of particle physics is for the last three decades a very successful description of the properties and interactions of all known elementary particles. Currently, it is again probed with the first collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). It is widely expected that new physics will be detected at the LHC and the SM has to be extended. The most exhaustive analyzed extension of the SM is supersymmetry (SUSY). SUSY can not only solve intrinsic problems of the SM like the hierarchy problem, but it also postulates new particles which might explain the nature of dark matter in the universe. The majority of all studies about dark matter in the framework of SUSY has focused on the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM). The aim of this work is to consider scenarios beyond that scope. We consider two models which explain not only dark matter but also neutrino masses: the gravitino as dark matter in gauge mediated SUSY breaking (GMSB) with bilinear broken R-parity as well as different seesaw scenarios with the neutralino as dark matter candidate. Furthermore, we also study the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM) which solves the (μ)-problem of the MSSM and discuss the properties of the neutralino as dark matter candidate.
In this lectures, we give a review about the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) with $R$-Parity Violation because it provides an attractive way to generate neutrino masses, lepton mixing angles in acconcordance to present neutrino data.
We review very nice mechanism to generate masses to all the neutrinos in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) without break $R$-parity. In consequence we get viable axion as Dark Matter candidate and at the same time solve the $μ$-problem in a similar way as done in the Next to Minimal Supersymmetric Model (NMSSM).
In this lectures, we give a review about the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) and the General Singlet Extensions of the MSSM (GSEMSSM). We, first introduce the minimal set of fields to built both models. Then we introduce their superfields and using them we build the lagrangian of those models in the superspace formalism. We show how to get the mass spectrum of those model in the $R$-parity scenarios and we also show how to get some Feynman Rules with the Gauge Bosons.
We apply the perturbative grand unification due to renormalization to distinguish TeV-scale relics of supersymmetric $\rm{SO}(10)$ scenarios. With rational theoretical constraints taken into account, we find that for the breaking pattern of either $\rm{SU}(5)$ or Pati-Salam only extra matter $\mathbf{16}$ supermultiplet of $SO(10)$ can appear at TeV scale, apart from MSSM spectrum.
The experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) have pushed the limits on masses of supersymmetric particles beyond the $\sim$TeV scale. This compromises naturalness of the simplest supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model, the minimal supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM). In this paper we advocate that perhaps the current experimental data are actually hinting towards the physics beyond MSSM. To illustrate this, we treat MSSM as a low energy limit of a more fundamental yet unspecified theory at a scale $Λ$, and compute the fine-tuning measure $Δ$ for generic boundary conditions on so…
Detecting and Studying $e^+e^-\to H^0A^0,H^+H^-$ in the MSSM: Implications of Supersymmetric Decays and Discriminating GUT Scenarios
Can we distinguish an MSSM Higgs from a SM Higgs at a Linear Collider?
Using Feynman-'t Hooft gauge and dimensional regularization, the static parity-violating coupling of the neutrinos and charged leptons to an external electromagnetic field is calculated in the minimal supersymmetry standard model (MSSM). From the obtained result of calculations, we have seen that the main contribution come from chargino particles in MSSM.
