The characteristic equation and Wiener index of a compressed zero divisor graph

The Zero divisor Graph of a commutative ring $R$, denoted by $Γ[R]$, is a graph whose vertices are non-zero zero divisors of R and two vertices are adjacent if their product is zero. The compressed zero divisor graph $Γ_E[R]$ is the (undirected) graph whose vertices are the equivalence classes such that distinct vertices [r] and [s] are adjacent if and only if rs = 0. In this paper we derive the characteristic polynomial and Wiener index of the Compressed zero divisor graph $Γ_{E}[\mathbb{Z}_m]$ where $m=p^n$ with prime $p$.

Wiener index of the Cozero-divisor graph of a finite commutative ring

Eigenvalues and Wiener index of the Zero Divisor graph $Γ[\mathbb {Z}_n]$

The Zero divisor Graph of a commutative ring $R$, denoted by $Γ[R]$, is a graph whose vertices are non-zero zero divisors of $R$ and two vertices are adjacent if their product is zero. In this paper, we consider the zero divisor graph $Γ[\mathbb{Z}_n]$ for $n=p^3$ and $n=p^2q$ with $p$ and $q$ primes. We discuss the adjacency matrix and eigenvalues of the zero divisor graph $Γ[\mathbb{Z}_n]$. We also calculate the energy of the graph $Γ[\mathbb{Z}_n]$.

On the problem of the finiteness of the compressed zero divisor graphs of Artinian rings

Let R be an Artinian ring and G be the compressed zero-divisor graph associated to R. The question of when the clique number of compressed zero-divisor graphs is finite was raised by J. Coykendall, S. Sather-Wagstaff, L. Sheppardson, and S. Spiroff, in their survey paper entitled On Zero-divisor Graphs. They proved that if length of R is at most four then the clique number is finite. In the length six case they gave an example of a ring where the clique is infinite. In this paper we show that when length of ring is five then the clique number of compressed zero-divisor graph is finite.

Compressed Intersection Annihilator Graph

Let R be a commutative ring with a non-zero identity. In this paper, we define a new graph, the compressed intersection annihilator graph, denoted by $IA(R)$, and investigate some of its theoretical properties and its relation with the structure of the ring. It is a generalization of the torsion graph $Γ_{R}(R)$. We study classes of rings for which the equivalence between the set of zero-divisors of $R$ being an ideal and the completeness of $IA(R)$ holds. Eigenvalues of zero-divisor graphs of finite commutative rings

We investigate eigenvalues of the zero-divisor graph $Γ(R)$ of finite commutative rings $R$ and study the interplay between these eigenvalues, the ring-theoretic properties of $R$ and the graph-theoretic properties of $Γ(R)$. The graph $Γ(R)$ is defined as the graph with vertex set consisting of all non-zero zero-divisors of $R$ and adjacent vertices $x,y$ whenever $xy = 0$.
