Some recent beyond Standard Model phenomenology is based on new strongly interacting dynamics of $SU(N)$ gauge fields coupled to various numbers of fermions. When $N=3$ these systems are analogues of QCD, although the fermion masses are typically different from -- and heavier than -- the ones of real world QCD. Many quantities needed for phenomenology from these models have been computed on the lattice. We are writing a guide for these phenomenologists, telling them about lattice results. We'll tell you (some of) what they are interested in knowing.
A lattice QCD determination of the $Λ_c \to N$ vector, axial vector, and tensor form factors is reported. The calculation was performed with $2+1$ flavors of domain wall fermions at lattice spacings of $a\approx 0.11\:{\rm fm},\:0.085\:{\rm fm}$ and pion masses in the range $230\:{\rm MeV} \lesssim m_π\lesssim 350$ MeV. The form factors are extrapolated to the continuum limit and the physical pion mass using modified $z$ expansions. The rates of the charged-current decays $Λ_c \to n\, e^+ ν_e$ and $Λ_c \to n\, μ^+ ν_μ$ are predicted to be $\left( 0.405 \pm 0.016_{\,\rm stat} \pm 0.020_{\,\rm s…
We show that using renormalization-group summation to generate the QCD radiative corrections to the $π-γ$ transition form factor, calculated with lightcone sum rules (LCSR), renders the strong coupling free of Landau singularities while preserving the QCD form-factor asymptotics. This enables a reliable applicability of the LCSR method to momenta well below 1 GeV$^2$. This way, one can use the new preliminary BESIII data with unprecedented accuracy below 1.5 GeV$^2$ to fine tune the prefactor of the twist-six contribution. Using a combined fit to all available data below 3.1 GeV$^2$, we are ab…
Building upon the PDFSense framework developed in Ref. [1], we perform a comprehensive analysis of the sensitivity of present and future high-energy data to a number of quantities commonly evaluated in lattice gauge theory, with a particular focus on the integrated Mellin moments of nucleon parton distribution functions (PDFs), such as $\langle x \rangle_{u^+ - d^+}$ and $\langle x \rangle_{g}$, as well as $x$-dependent quark quasi-distributions -- in particular, that of the isovector combination. Our results demonstrate the potential for lattice calculations and phenomenological quark distrib…
We present our progresses in the use of the non-perturbative renormalization framework based on considering QCD at finite temperature with shifted and twisted (for quarks only) boundary conditions in the compact direction. We report our final results in the application of this method for the non-perturbative renormalization of the flavor-singlet local vector current. We then discuss the more challenging case of the renormalization of the energy-momentum tensor, and show preliminary results on the relevant one-point functions for the computation of the renormalization constants of its non-singl…
