Multiple vector bundles: cores, splittings and decompositions

This paper introduces $\infty$- and $n$-fold vector bundles as special functors from the $\infty$- and $n$-cube categories to the category of smooth manifolds. We study the cores and "n-pullbacks" of $n$-fold vector bundles and we prove that any $n$-fold vector bundle admits a non-canonical isomorphism to a decomposed $n$-fold vector bundle. A colimit argument then shows that $\infty$-fold vector bundles admit as well non-canonical decompositions. For the convenience of the reader, the case of triple vector bundles is discussed in detail.

The aim of this paper is to prove a normal form Theorem for Dirac-Jacobi bundles using the recent techniques from Bursztyn, Lima and Meinrenken. As the most important consequence, we can prove the splitting theorems of Jacobi pairs which was proposed by Dazord, Lichnerowicz and Marle. As an application we provide a alternative proof of the splitting theorem of homogeneous Poisson structures.

Nonlinear splittings on fibre bundles

We introduce the notion of a nonlinear splitting on a fibre bundle as a generalization of an Ehresmann connection. We present its basic properties and we pay attention to the special cases of affine, homogeneous and principal nonlinear splittings. Splitting theorem for sheaves of holomorphic $k$-vectors on complex contact manifolds

A complex contact structure $γ$ is defined by a system of holomorphic local $1$-forms satisfying the completely non-integrability condition. Manifolds that admit a double disk-bundle decomposition

Under mild topological restrictions, this article establishes that a smooth, closed, simply connected manifold of dimension at most seven which can be decomposed as the union of two disk bundles must be rationally elliptic. In dimension five, such manifolds are classified up to diffeomorphism, while the same is true in dimension six when either the second Betti number vanishes or the third Betti number is non-trivial.

The decomposition of the spinor bundle of Grassmann manifolds

The decomposition of the spinor bundle of the spin Grassmann manifolds $G_{m,n}=SO(m+n)/SO(m)\times SO(n)$ into irreducible representations of $\mathfrak{so}(m)\oplus\mathfrak{so}(n)$ is presented. A universal construction is developed and the general statement is proven for $G_{2k+1,3}$, $G_{2k,4}$, and $G_{2k+1,5}$ for all $k$. Pushforward and smooth vector pseudo-bundles

In this paper, we study a new operation named pushforward on diffeological vector pseudo-bundles, which is left adjoint to the pullback. We show how to pushforward projective diffeological vector pseudo-bundles to get projective diffeological vector spaces, producing many concrete new examples, together with application to smooth splittings of some projective diffeological vector spaces related to geometry. The Orbit Type Stratification OF the Moduli Space of Higgs Bundles

The moduli space of Higgs bundles can be constructed as a quotient of an infinite-dimensional space and hence admits an orbit type decomposition. In this paper, we show that the orbit type decomposition is a complex Whitney stratification such that each stratum is a complex symplectic submanifold and hence admits a complex Poisson bracket.
