Rapidity gap survival factors caused by remnant fragmentation for $W^+ W^-$ pair production via $γ^*γ^* \to W^+ W^-$ subprocess with photon transverse momenta

We calculate the cross section for $p p \to W^{+} W^-$ in the recently developed $k_{\rm T}$-factorisation approach, including transverse momenta of the virtual photons. We focus on processes with single and double proton dissociation. First we discuss the gap survival on the parton level as due to the emission of extra jet. Both the role of valence and sea contributions is discussed. The hadronisation of proton remnants is performed with {PYTHIA 8} string fragmentation model, assuming a simple quark-diquark model for proton. Highly excited remnant systems hadronise producing particles that can be vetoed in the calorimeter. We calculate associated effective gap survival factors. The gap survival factors depend on the process, mass of the remnant system and collision energy. The rapidity gap survival factor due to remnant fragmentation for double dissociative (DD) collisions ($S_{R,DD}$) is smaller than that for single dissociative (SD) process ($S_{R,SD}$). We observe the approximate factorisation $S_{R,DD} \approx (S_{R,SD})^2$, however it is expected that this property will be violated by soft rescattering effects not accounted for in this letter.
In this talk, given at "RunII QCD and weak boson WS", we report on calculations of the survival probability of the large rapidity gap (LRG) processes and its energy behaviour.
We compute the survival probability $<|S|^{2}>$ of large rapidity gaps (LRG) in a QCD based eikonal model with a dynamical gluon mass, where this dynamical infrared mass scale represents the onset of nonperturbative contributions to the diffractive hadron-hadron scattering. Since rapidity gaps can occur in the case of Higgs boson production via fusion of electroweak bosons, we focus on $WW\to H$ fusion processes and show that the resulting $<|S|^{2}>$ decreases with the increase of the energy of the incoming hadrons, in line with the available experimental data for LRG. We obtain $<|S|^{2} > =…
We study the probability for no jets with transverse momenta above a given cut to be found in the rapidity region between two high pT jets with a large rapidity separation. Our investigation uses the parton shower event generator DEDUCTOR with color beyond the leading-color-plus approximation included perturbatively.
We discuss recent calculations of the survival probability of the large rapidity gaps in exclusive processes of the type pp --> p+A+p at high energies. Absorptive or screening effects are important, and one consequence is that the total cross section at the LHC is predicted to be only about 90 mb.
We apply the phenomenological Reggeon field theory framework to investigate rapidity gap survival (RGS) probability for diffractive dijet production in proton-proton collisions. In particular, we study in some detail rapidity gap suppression due to elastic rescatterings of intermediate partons in the underlying parton cascades, described by enhanced (Pomeron-Pomeron interaction) diagrams. We demonstrate that such contributions play a subdominant role, compared to the usual, so-called "eikonal", rapidity gap suppression due to elastic rescatterings of constituent partons of the colliding proton…
The energy dependence for the survival probability of large rapidity gaps (LRG) $< \mid S \mid^2 >$, is calculated in an Eikonal model assuming a Gaussian opacity. The parameters determining $< \mid S \mid^2 >$ are evaluated directly from experimental data, without further recourse to models. We find that $< \mid S \mid^2 >$ decreases with increasing energy, in line with recent results for LRG dijet production at the Tevatron.
We summarize how the approach to the black-disk regime (BDR) of strong interactions at TeV energies influences rapidity gap survival in exclusive hard diffraction pp -> p + H + p (H = dijet, Qbar-Q, Higgs). Employing a recently developed partonic description of such processes, we discuss (a) the suppression of diffraction at small impact parameters by soft spectator interactions in the BDR; (b) further suppression by inelastic interactions of hard spectator partons in the BDR; (c) correlations between hard and soft interactions. Hard spectator interactions substantially reduce the rapidity gap…
We calculate the probability of large rapidity gaps in high energy hadronic collisions using a model based on QCD mini-jets and soft gluon emission down into the infrared region. Comparing with other models we find a remarkable agreement among most predictions.
We summarize our understanding of the dynamical mechanisms governing rapidity gap survival in central exclusive diffraction, pp -> p + H + p (H = high-mass system), and discuss the uncertainties in present estimates of the survival probability. The main suppression of diffractive scattering is due to inelastic soft spectator interactions at small pp impact parameters and can be described in a mean-field approximation (independent hard and soft interactions). Moderate extra suppression results from fluctuations of the partonic configurations of the colliding protons. At LHC energies absorptive …
Our presentation centers on the consequences of s-channel unitarity, manifested by soft re-scatterings of the spectator partons in a high energy diffractive process, focusing on the calculations of gap survival probabilities. Our emphasis is on recent estimates relevant to exclusive diffractive Higgs production at the LHC. To this end, we critically re-examine the comparison of the theoretical estimates of large rapidity gap hard di-jets with the measured data, and remark on the difficulties in the interpretation of HERA hard di-jet photoproduction.
The values and energy dependence for the survival probability $< \mid S\mid^2 >$ of large rapidity gaps (LRG) are calculated in a three channel model. This model includes single and double diffractive production, as well as elastic rescattering. It is shown that $< \mid S \mid^2 >$ decreases with increasing energy, in line with recent results for LRG dijet production at the Tevatron. This is in spite of the weak dependence on energy of the ratio $ (σ_{el}+ σ_{SD})/σ_{tot}$.
We discuss production of four jets $pp \rightarrow j j j j X$ with at least two jets with large rapidity separation in proton-proton collisions at the LHC through the mechanism of double-parton scattering (DPS). The cross section is calculated in a factorizaed approximation. Each hard subprocess is calculated in LO collinear approximation. The LO pQCD calculations are shown to give a reasonably good descritption of CMS and ATLAS data on inclusive jet production. It is shown that relative contribution of DPS is growing with increasing rapidity distance between the most remote jets, center-of-ma…
We summarize how the approach to the black--disk regime (BDR) of strong interactions at TeV energies influences rapidity gap survival in exclusive hard diffraction pp--> p + H + p (H =dijet, \bar Q Q, Higgs). Employing a recently developed partonic description of such processes, we discuss (a) the suppression of diffraction at small impact parameters by soft spectator interactions in the BDR; (b) further suppression by inelastic interactions of hard spectator partons in the BDR; (c) effects of correlations between hard and soft interactions, as suggested by various models of proton structure (…
Observations of rare processes containing large rapidity gaps at high energy colliders may be exceptionally informative. However the cross sections of these events are small in comparison with that for the inclusive processes since there is a large probability that the gaps may be filled by secondary particles arising from additional soft interactions or from gluon radiation. Here we review the calculations of the probability that the gaps survive population by particles from these effects for a wide range of different processes.
We discuss an application of dynamical multi-parton interaction model, tuned to measurements of underlying event topology, for a description of destroying rapidity gaps in the jet-gap-jet processes at the LHC. We concentrate on the dynamical origin of the mechanism of destroying the rapidity gap. The cross section for jet-gap-jet is calculated within LL BFKL approximation. We discuss the topology of final states without and with the MPI effects. We discuss some examples of selected kinematical situations (fixed jet rapidities and transverse momenta) as distributions averaged over the dynamics …
Using an eikonal analysis, we simultaneously fit a QCD-inspired parameterization of all accelerator data on forward proton-proton and antiproton-proton scattering amplitudes, together with cosmic ray data (using Glauber theory), to predict proton-air and proton-proton cross sections at energies near \sqrt s \approx 30 TeV. The p-air cosmic ray measurements greatly reduce the errors in the high energy proton-proton and proton-air cross section predictions--in turn, greatly reducing the errors in the fit parameters. From this analysis, we can then compute the survival probability of rapidity gap…
We show that high energy hadronic reactions which contain a rapidity gap and a hard subprocess have a specific dependence on the kinematic variables, which results in a characteristic behaviour of the survival probability of the gap. We incorporate this mechanism in a two-channel eikonal model to make an essentially parameter-free estimate of diffractive dijet production at the Tevatron, given the diffractive structure functions measured at HERA. The estimates are in surprising agreement with the measurements of the CDF collaboration. We briefly discuss the application of the model to other ha…
In this paper we discuss the example of one rapidity gap process: the inclusive cross sections of the leading neutrons in deep inelastic scattering with protons (DIS). The equations for this process are proposed and solved, giving the example of theoretical calculation of the survival probability for one rapidity gap processes. It turns out that the value of the survival probability is small and it decreases with energy
New results are presented for total ${\rm pp}/ {\rm \bar p p}$ cross-sections, in the framework of our QCD based model (GGPS). This is an improved eikonal mini-jet model, where soft gluon radiation tames the fast energy rise normally present in mini-jet models. We discuss the variability in our predictions and provide a handy parametrization of our results for the LHC. We find that our model predictions span the range $σ_{tot}^{LHC}=100 ^{+10}_{-13} mb$. While this matches nicely with the range of most other models, it does not agree with recent ones which include a "hard" Pomeron, even though…
In this paper we present a self consistent theoretical approach for the calculation of the Survival Probability for central dijet production . These calculations are performed in a model of high energy soft interactions based on two ingredients:(i) the results of N=4 SYM, which at the moment is the only theory that is able to deal with a large coupling constant; and (ii) the required matching with high energy QCD. Assuming, in accordance with these prerequisites, that soft Pomeron intercept is rather large and the slope of the Pomeron trajectory is equal to zero, we derive analytical formulae …
We calculate the probability that the rapidity gaps in diffractive processes survive both eikonal and enhanced rescattering. We present arguments that enhanced rescattering, which violates soft-hard factorization, is not very strong. Accounting for NLO effects, there is no reason to expect that the black disc regime is reached at the LHC. We discuss the predictions for the survival of the rapidity gaps for exclusive Higgs production at the LHC.
We quantify the rate of double diffractive Higgs/dijet production at $pp$ (or $p\bar{p}$) colliders. The suppression due to QCD bremsstrahlung is calculated perturbatively up to single $\log$ accuracy. The survival probability of the rapidity gaps is discussed. A first comparison with experiment is made.
Double diffractive Higgs production at $pp$ (or $\bar{p}p$) colliders continues to attract attention as a potential signal in the search for the boson. We present improved perturbative QCD estimates of the event rates for both the exclusive and inclusive double diffractive Higgs processes, paying particular attention to the survival probability of the rapidity gaps. We find that the major uncertainty is in the prediction for the survival probability associated with soft rescattering. We show that an analogous process, the double diffractive production of a pair of jets with large values of $E_…
The survival probability of large rapidity gaps in pp collisions is calculated for several different eikonal models of the Gaussian form. Results obtained for models based on partonic interactions are quite similar. The Regge-pole model predicts a higher value of $ < \vert S \vert^{2} > $ .
We propose a new approach to the problem of rapidity gap survival (RGS) in the production of high-mass systems (H = dijet, heavy quarkonium, Higgs boson) in double-gap exclusive diffractive pp scattering, pp -> p + (gap) + H + (gap) + p. It is based on the idea that hard and soft interactions proceed over widely different time- and distance scales and are thus approximately independent. The high-mass system is produced in a hard scattering process with exchange of two gluons between the protons. Its amplitude is calculable in terms of the gluon generalized parton distributions (GPDs) in the pr…
We propose a new approach for the Higgs boson production by Double Pomeron Exchange (DPE) in the Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering, where a color dipole interacts diffractively with the proton by DPE. Applying it to Peripheral Collisions, we predict a cross section around 0.1 fb, which is similar to that obtained from the $γγ$ subprocess. Although this result is lower than the prediction from the KMR approach, our results are competitive with the $γγ$ and Pomeron-Pomeron subprocesses with a more precise proposal for the Gap Survival Probability.
We study the production of jet events containing large rapidity gaps in particle colliders due to the resolved photon mechanism. In particular, we analize these events at DESY HERA and future $e^+e^-$ linear colliders, including the possibility of $γγ$ laser backscattering beams. These events allow the study of the perturbative pomeron in environments complementary to the hadron-hadron colliders, and also provide insight into the survival probability of the rapidity gaps involving photon initial state.
We consider photon-initiated events with large rapidity gaps in proton-proton collisions, where one or both protons may break up. We formulate a modified photon PDF that accounts for the specific experimental rapidity gap veto, and demonstrate how the soft survival probability for these gaps may be implemented consistently. Finally, we present some phenomenological results for the two-photon induced production of lepton and $W$ boson pairs.
We perform next-to-leading order calculations of the single-diffractive and non-diffractive cross sections for dijet production in proton-antiproton collisions at the Tevatron. By comparing their ratio to the data published by the CDF collaboration for two different center-of-mass energies, we deduce the rapidity-gap survival probability as a function of the momentum fraction of the parton in the antiproton. Assuming Regge factorization, this probability can be interpreted as a suppression factor for the diffractive structure function measured in deep-inelastic scattering at HERA. In contrast …
We consider the absorptive corrections and the rapidity gap survival factor which are necessary to provide the unitarization of the BFKL Pomeron. In particular we discuss the role of the enhanced screening diagrams.
We present a new calculation of $W^+ W^-$ production in the semi-exclusive channel, that is either with intact outgoing protons or rapidity gaps present in the final state, and with no colour flow between the colliding protons. This study provides the first complete prediction of the $W^+ W^-$ semi-exclusive cross section, as well as the breakdown between elastic and proton dissociative channels. It combines the structure function calculation for a precise modelling of the region of low momentum transfers with a parton-level calculation in the region of high momentum transfers. The survival fa…
We argue that the probability of gap survival in dijet production in $γp$ scattering as measured by ZEUS may be due to the color transparency phenomenon and suggest ways to test this hypothesis in the future $γp$ and $γA$ processes.
We study central Z-boson production accompanied by rapidity gaps on either side as a way to gauge Higgs weak boson fusion production at the LHC. We analyse the backgrounds for the bb-decay mode and show that these can be substantially reduced. Special attention is paid to the evaluation of the gap survival factor, which is the major source of theoretical uncertainty in the rate of H and Z central production events with rapidity gaps.
We compare results of exact calculations of single parton scattering (SPS) and double parton scattering (DPS) for production of $c \bar c c \bar c$ and for $D$ meson correlations. The SPS calculations are performed in collinear approximation with exact matrix element for $g g \to c \bar c c \bar c$ and $q \bar q \to c \bar c c \bar c$ subprocesses. It is shown that the contribution of gluon-gluon subprocess is about factor 50 larger than that for quark-antiquark annihilation. The new results are compared with results of previous calculation with the approximate matrix element for $g g \to c \b…

We estimate the value of the survival probability for central exclusive production, in a model, which is based on the CGC/saturation approach. Hard and soft processes are described in the same framework. At LHC energies, we obtain a small value for the survival probability. The source of the small value, is the impact parameter dependence of the hard amplitude. Our model has successfully described a large body of soft data: elastic, inelastic and diffractive cross sections, inclusive production and rapidity correlations, as well as the $t$-dependence of deep inelastic diffractive production of …
In this paper we discuss the survival probability for exclusive central diffractive production of a colorless small size system at the LHC. This process has a clear signature of two large rapidity gaps. Using the eikonal approach for the description of soft interactions, we predict the value of the survival probability to be about 5~6% for single channel models, while for a two channel model the survival probability is about 3%. The dependence of the survival probability factor (damping factor) on the transverse momenta of the recoiled protons is discussed, and we suggest it be measured at the…
We study central Z-boson production accompanied by rapidity gaps on either side as a way to gauge Higgs weak boson fusion production at the LHC. We analyse the possible backgrounds for the bb-decay mode and show that these can be substantially reduced. Special attention is paid to the evaluation of the gap survival factor, which is the major source of theoretical uncertainty in the rate of H, Z and W central production events with rapidity gaps.
We examine the structure of the underlying event in neutral Higgs production at the Superconducting-Supercollider (SSC). Gaps, regions of rapidity containing no soft particle production, can provide a clean signature for $W$ boson fusion to the heavy Higgs. We first examine the physical basis of gap production and estimate the survival probability of gaps in the minijet model. Then, using PYTHIA, and HERWIG we compare gap events to $W$ pair production from top decay and $q\bar{q}$ fusion. We find that, if experimental problems can be overcome, gaps should provide a small, but clean, signal for…
We discuss photon-photon fusion mechanisms of dilepton production in proton-proton collisions with rapidity gap in the main detector and one forward proton in the forward proton detectors. This is relevant for the LHC measurements by ATLAS+AFP and CMS+PPS. Transverse momenta of the intermediate photons are taken into account and photon fluxes are expressed in terms of proton electromagnetic form factors and structure functions. Differential distributions in $ξ_{1/2}$, $M_{ll}$, $Y_{ll}$, $p_{t,ll}$, $M_R$ %pamietac wyjasnic M_R w tekscie are shown and the competition of different mechanisms is…
Based on the calculation of survival probabilities, we discuss the problem of extracting the value of $G_{3P}$, the triple Pomeron 'bare' coupling constant, by comparing the large rapidity gap single high mass diffraction data in proton-proton scattering and $J/Ψ$ photo and DIS production. For p-p scattering the calculation in a three amplitude rescattering eikonal model, predicts the survival probability to be an order of magnitude smaller than for the two amplitude case. The survival probabilities calculation for photo and DIS $J/Ψ$ production is made in a dedicated model. In this process we…
We discuss the BFKL approach to processes with large momentum transferred through a rapidity gap. The Mueller and Tang scheme to the BFKL non-forward parton-parton elastic scattering amplitude at large $t$, is extended to include higher conformal spins. The new contributions are found to decrease with increasing energy, as follows from the gluon reggeisation phenomenon, and to vanish for asymptotically high energies. However, at moderate energies and high $|t|$, the higher conformal spins dominate the amplitude. We illustrate the effects by studying the production of two high $E_T$ jets separa…
We discuss energy dependence of rapidity gap survival probability in the double-pomeron exchange processes with account of the reflective scattering effects.
We present a new framework for the modelling of hard diffraction in pp and ppbar collisions. It starts from the the approach pioneered by Ingelman and Schlein, wherein the single diffractive cross section is factorized into a Pomeron flux and a Pomeron PDF. To this it adds a dynamically calculated rapidity gap survival factor, derived from the modelling of multiparton interactions. This factor is not relevant for diffraction in ep collisions, giving non-universality between HERA and Tevatron diffractive event rates. The model has been implemented in Pythia 8 and provides a complete description…
We discuss production of $W^+ W^-$ pairs and $t \bar t$ quark-antiquark pairs in proton-proton collisions induced by two-photon fusion including transverse momenta of incoming photons. The unintegrated inelastic fluxes (related to proton dissociation) of photons are calculated based on modern parametrizations of deep inelastic structure functions in a broad range of $x$ and $Q^2$. We focus on processes with single and double proton dissociation. Highly excited remnant systems hadronise producing particles that can be vetoed in the calorimeter. We calculate associated gap survival factors. The …
We discuss the mechanisms of photon-photon fusion triggering the dilepton production in proton-proton collisions with rapidity gap in the main detector and one forward proton in the forward proton detectors. This correspond to the LHC measurements made by ATLAS+AFP and CMS+PPS. Transverse momenta of the intermediate photons and photon fluxes expressed by the form factors and structure functions are included. Moreover the influence of proton measurement and cuts on the $ξ_{1/2}$, $M_{ll}$, $Y_{ll}$, $p_{t,ll}$ distributions, cross section and gap survival factor are considered for both double-e…
We calculate the rapidity gap survival probability associated with the Higgs decay and Higgs plus dijet production in proton-proton collisions by resumming the leading non-global logarithms without any approximation to the number of colors. For dijet production, depending on partonic subprocesses, the probability involves various `color multipoles', i.e., the product of 4 ($qq\to qq$) or 6 ($qg\to qg$) or 8 ($gg\to gg$) Wilson lines. We calculate all these multipoles for a fixed dijet configuration and discuss the factorization of higher multipoles into lower multipoles as well as the validity…
A study of the particle multiplicity between jets with large rapidity separation has been performed using the DØdetector at the Fermilab Tevatron $p\bar{p}$ Collider operating at $\sqrt{s}=1.8$ TeV. A significant excess of low-multiplicity events is observed above the expectation for color-exchange processes. The measured fractional excess is $1.07 \pm 0.10({\rm stat})^{+ 0.25}_{- 0.13}({\rm syst})%$, which is consistent with a strongly-interacting color-singlet (colorless) exchange process and cannot be explained by electroweak exchange alone. A lower limit of 0.80% (95% C.L.) is obtained on …
The reason why some data on the production of $ψ$- and $Υ$-states disagree with QCD predictions, occasionally by well over one order of magnitude, is that the traditional method for performing the perturbative calculation of the cross section is simply wrong. The key mistake is to require that the heavy quark pair forms a color singlet at short distances, given that there is an infinite time for soft gluons to readjust the color of the $c \bar c$ pair before it appears as an asymptotic $ψ$ or, alternatively, $D \bar D$ state. We suspect that the same mistake is made in the description of rapid…
We discuss the process of colour-singlet parton-parton scattering, which in hadron-hadron collision can lead to production of jet events, where a rapidity gap between the jets is present. The dynamics of the process is calculated within LL BFKL approximation. Using Pythia MC generator, hadronic shapes of jet-gap-jet events are studied, in particular the distributions of the rapidity gap size resulting from the jet formation processes. Using Pythia's modelling of multiple parton interactions, the rescattering effects are simulated. It is shown how these effects influence the gap size distributi…
We review our recent results for production of $W^+ W^-$ and $t {\bar t}$ pairs via photon-photon fusion. A theoretical approach is presented in short. We include transverse momenta of photons when calculating fluxes of photons. Then we discuss our results for cross section (total and differential) for $W^+ W^-$ production. Results for different parametrizations of proton structure functions are used to calculate inelastic fluxes of photons. A discussion on rapidity gap survival probability due to remnant fragmentation is presented. A similar discussion is presented for $t {\bar t}$ production…
We present the first NLO QCD analysis of single-diffractive dijet production in proton-antiproton collisions. By comparing the ratio of single- and non-diffractive cross sections to data from the Tevatron, the rapidity-gap survival probability is determined as a function of the momentum fraction of the parton in the antiproton. Assuming Regge factorization, this probability can be interpreted as a suppression factor for the diffractive structure function measured in deep-inelastic scattering at HERA. In contrast to the observations for photoproduction, the suppression factor in proton-antiprot…
The new framework for the simulations of hard diffractive events in photoproduction within Pythia 8 is presented. The model, originally introduced for proton-proton collisions, applies the dynamical rapidity gap survival probability based on the multiparton interaction model in Pythia. These additional interactions provide a natural explanation for the observed factorization-breaking effects in hard diffraction by filling up the rapidity gaps used to classify the events of diffractive origin. The generated cross sections are well in line with the existing data from HERA experiments and predict…
The production of a quarkonium -- pair in exclusive and diffractive processes in $pp$ collisions at the LHC and FCC energies is investigated. We consider the $J/ΨJ/Ψ$ and $ΥΥ$ production in these processes and present predictions for the transverse momentum and rapidity distributions considering the kinematical ranges expected to be covered by central and forward detectors. Results for the cross sections are also presented. Our results indicate that the double $J/Ψ$ production is dominated by the exclusive process, while the double $Υ$ production receive a large contribution of the diffractive…
We perform a NLO QCD analysis of single-diffractive dijet production in proton-antiproton collisions. In contrast to the observations for photoproduction, the suppression factor in proton-antiproton colli…
We present the results of the new SuperChic 4 Monte Carlo implementation of photon-initiated production in proton-proton collisions, considering as a first example the case of lepton pair production. This is based on the structure function calculation of the underlying process, and focusses on a complete account of the various contributing channels, including the case where a rapidity gap veto is imposed. We provide a careful treatment of the contributions where either (single dissociation), both (double dissociation) or neither (elastic) proton interacts inelastically and dissociates, and int…
Recent diffractive structure function measurements in deep inelastic scattering (DIS) by the H1 and ZEUS experiments at HERA are reviewed. In neutral current (NC) DIS, precise measurements have been made of diffraction, $ep \to eXY$, the signature of which is a large rapidity gap (LRG) between the hadronic system $X$ and the proton or one of its low-mass excited states $Y$. New results on charged current (CC) DIS are also presented. They are identified in a CC DIS sample by a large rapidity gap, corresponding to a diffractive process $ep \to νXY$ with a $W$ boson exchange. Moreover, within the…
We have investigated the contribution of the Higher Twist (HT) Feynman diagrams to the large-$p_T$ inclusive $ρ_L$ meson production cross section in proton-proton and proton-antiproton collisions and we discuss the phenomenological consequences of possible HT contributions to cross sections. To extract HT subprocesses from Leading Twist (LT) background, we use various $ρ_L$ meson distribution amplitudes(DAs). In the numerical calculations, the dependencies of the HT contribution on the transverse momentum and the rapidity are discussed with special emphasis on DAs. Analysis of our results show…
Large rapidity gap diffraction processes are considered in multi-channel eikonal models. It is shown that shadow corrections to over-fast rising contribution of the input supercritical pomeron (with $α(0)>1$), originating from the pomeron rescatterings or, equivalently, accounting survival probability factor, do not solve the Finkelstein-Kajantie problem. Therefore, in our opinion, another methods of unitarization of supercritical pomeron should be developed.
