Bernstein operators and super-Schur functions: combinatorial aspects

The Bernstein vertex operators, which can be used to build recursively the Schur functions, are extended to superspace. Four families of super vertex operators are defined, corresponding to the four natural families of Schur functions in superspace. Combinatorial proofs that the super Bernstein vertex operators indeed build the Schur functions in superspace recursively are provided. We briefly mention a possible realization, in terms of symmetric functions in superspace, of the super-KP hierarchy, where the tau-function naturally expands in one of the super-Schur bases.

Shifted tableaux and products of Schur's symmetric functions

We introduce a new combinatorial object, semistandard increasing decomposition tableau and study its relation to a semistandard decomposition tableau introduced by Kraśkiewicz and developed by Lam and Serrano. We also introduce generalized Littlewood--Richardson coefficients for products of Schur's symmetric functions and give combinatorial descriptions in terms of tableau words. Dual wavefunction of the symplectic ice

The wavefunction of the free-fermion six-vertex model was found to give a natural realization of the Tokuyama combinatorial formula for the Schur polynomials by Bump-Brubaker-Friedberg. Dual wavefunction of the Felderhof model

We study the Felderhof free-fermion six-vertex model, whose wavefunction recently turned out to possess rich combinatorial structure of the Schur polynomials. Combinatorial Interpretation of the Scalar Products of State Vectors of Integrable Models

A combinatorial generalization of the Boson-Fermion correspondence

We attempt to explain the ubiquity of tableaux and of Pieri and Cauchy formulae for combinatorially defined families of symmetric functions. We show that such formulae are to be expected from symmetric functions arising from representations of Heisenberg algebras.
