It is called blind quantum computation(BQC) that a client who has limited quantum technologies can delegate her quantum computing to a server who has fully-advanced quantum computers. But the privacy of the client's quantum inputs, algorithms and outputs is still a challenge. To realize a secure BQC, we mainly study how to hide quantum fourier transform (QFT) performed on Bell states. In this paper, three cases are considered as follows. For the first case, we design primary BQC protocols of QFT performed on qubits 12 of belonging to $\{|ϕ^\pm\rangle_{12},$ $|ψ^\pm\rangle_{12}\}$ with relevant circuits. To strengthen security, we construct enhanced BQC protocols of QFT performed on qubits 13 of any two Bell states $|ξ\rangle_{12}\otimes|θ\rangle_{34}$ with relevant quantum circuits. Featured the property of stronger security, we give generalized BQC protocols of QFT performed on qubits 13 and 24 of any two Bell states with relevant quantum circuits respectively. At last, we analyze and prove the blindness and correctness.
Blind quantum computation (BQC) provides an efficient method for the client who does not have enough sophisticated technology and knowledge to perform universal quantum computation. The single-server BQC protocol requires the client to have some minimum quantum ability, while the double-server BQC protocol makes the client's device completely classical, resorting to the pure and clean Bell-state shared by two servers. In this paper, we provide a deterministic entanglement distillation protocol in a practical noisy environment for the double-server BQC protocol. This protocol can obtain the pur…
Blind quantum computation is a new secure quantum computing protocol where a client, who does not have enough quantum technologies at her disposal, can delegate her quantum computation to a server, who has a fully-fledged quantum computer, in such a way that the server cannot learn anything about client's input, output, and program. If the client interacts with only a single server, the client has to have some minimum quantum power, such as the ability of emitting randomly rotated single-qubit states or the ability of measuring states. If the client interacts with two servers who share Bell pa…
We perform Bell's measurement and perform quantum Fourier transform with the classical vortex beam. The violation of Bell's inequality for such a non-separable classical correlation has been demonstrated experimentally. Based on the classical vortex beam and nonquantum entanglement between the polarization and orbital angular momentum, the Hadamard gates and conditional phase gates have been designed. Furthermore, a quantum Fourier transform has been implemented experimentally, which is the crucial final step in Shor's algorithm
In this study, the security of Novel Enhanced Quantum Representation (NEQR) of quantum images are suggested by using the Quantum Fourier Transform (QFT) with blind trent. In the protocol, QFT and keys are used to share signature with recipients. So all members know only their signature information which are encrypted output of the QFT. This improves the security of the protocol. In addition, the security of the protocol is provided by using reorder QFT output qubits with permutation of the blind trent. The security analysis expresses security of the transfer of the image with effective secret …
Blind quantum computation (BQC) allows that a client who has limited quantum abilities can delegate quantum computation to a server who has advanced quantum technologies but learns nothing about the client's private information. However, it still remains a challenge to directly encrypt quantum algorithms in circuits model. To solve the problem, we propose GTUBQC, the first gate teleportation-based universal BQC protocol. In this paper, we consider a scenario where a trusted center is responsible for preparing initial states, a client with the ability to perform X, Z does not require any quantu…
We present a scheme for teleporting an unknown, two-particle entangled state with a message from a sender (Alice) to a receiver (Bob) via a six-particle entangled channel. We also present another scheme for teleporting an unknown one-particle entangled state with a message transmitted in a two-way form between the same sender and receiver via a five-qubit cluster state. One-way hash functions, Bell-state measurements, and unitary operations are adopted in these two schemes. Our schemes use the physical characteristics of quantum mechanics to implement delegation, signature, and verification pr…
Quantum Fourier gates (QFG) constitute a family of quantum gates that result from an exact combination of the quantum Fourier transform (QFT) and the SWAP gate. As a direct consequence of this, the Feynman gate is a particular case of that family, just as the Bell states are particular cases of the states that are also derived from the aforementioned family. Besides, this new tool will allow us to demonstrate that teleportation is not something that happens exclusively thanks to some level of entanglement, but that it is also possible with an incomplete form of entanglement known as rough enta…
After quantum computers come out, governments and rich companies will have the abilities to buy these useful quantum computers, meanwhile they are familiar with these technologies proficiently. If a client wants to perform quantum computing but she does not have quantum computers with relevant quantum technologies. She can seek help from the server and pay his salary, but she does not want to leak anything to the server. Blind quantum computing (BQC) give a good method for the client to realized her quantum computing. In this article, we propose a new BQC protocol of quantum fourier transform …
We demonstrate a Bell state analyzer that operates directly on frequency mismatch. Based on electro-optic modulators and Fourier-transform pulse shapers, our quantum frequency processor design implements interleaved Hadamard gates in discrete frequency modes. Experimental tests on entangled-photon inputs reveal accuracies of $\sim$98\% for discriminating between the $|Ψ^+\rangle$ and $|Ψ^-\rangle$ frequency-bin Bell states. Our approach resolves the tension between wavelength-multiplexed state transport and high-fidelity Bell state measurements, which typically require spectral indistinguishab…
Bell inequality can provide a useful witness for device-independent applications with quantum (or post-quantum) eavesdroppers. This feature holds only for single entangled systems. Our goal is to explore device-independent model for quantum networks. We firstly propose a Bell inequality to verify the genuinely multipartite nonlocality of connected quantum networks including cyclic networks and universal quantum computational resources for measurement-based computation model. This is further used to construct new monogamy relation in a fully device-independent model with multisource quantum res…
As progress on experimental quantum processors continues to advance, the problem of verifying the correct operation of such devices is becoming a pressing concern. The recent discovery of protocols for verifying computation performed by entangled but non-communicating quantum processors holds the promise of certifying the correctness of arbitrary quantum computations in a fully device-independent manner. Unfortunately, all known schemes have prohibitive overhead, with resources scaling as extremely high degree polynomials in the number of gates constituting the computation. Here we present a n…

We demonstrate an experimental test of the Clauser-Horne-Shimony-Holt (CHSH) Bell inequality which seemingly exhibits correlations beyond the limits imposed by quantum mechanics. Inspired by the idea of Fourier synthesis, we design analysers that measure specific superpositions of orbital angular momentum (OAM) states, such that when one analyser is rotated with respect to the other, the resulting coincidence curves are similar to a square-wave. Calculating the CHSH Bell parameter, $S$, from these curves result to values beyond the Tsirelson bound of $S_{QM}=2\sqrt{2}$. We obtain $S=3.99\pm0.0…
The 5-qubit quantum computer prototypes that IBM has given open access to on the cloud allow the implementation of real experiments on a quantum processor. We present the results obtained in five experimental tests performed on these computers: dense coding, quantum Fourier transforms, Bell's inequality, Mermin's inequalities (up to $n=5$) and the construction of the prime state $|p_3\rangle$. These results serve to assess the functioning of the IBM 5Q chips.
Distributed computing is a fastest growing field -- enabling virtual computing, parallel computing, and distributed storage. By exploiting the counterfactual techniques, we devise a distributed blind quantum computation protocol to perform a universal two-qubit controlled unitary operation for any input state without using preshared entanglement and without exchanging physical particles between remote parties. This distributed protocol allows Bob to counterfactully apply an arbitrary unitary operator to Alice's qubit in probabilistic fashion, without revealing the operator to her, using a cont…
Photons are natural carriers of high-dimensional quantum information, and, in principle, can benefit from higher quantum information capacity and noise-resilience. However, schemes to generate the resources required for high-dimensional quantum computing have so far been lacking in linear optics. Here, we show how to generate GHZ states in arbitrary dimensions and numbers of photons using linear optical circuits described by Fourier transform matrices. Combining our results with recent schemes for qudit Bell measurements, we show that universal linear optical quantum computing can be performed…
Quantum mechanics is known to provide significant improvements in information processing tasks when compared to classical models. These advantages range from computational speeds-up to security improvements. A key question is where these advantages come from. The toy model developed by Spekkens [R. W. Spekkens PRA 75, 032110 (2012)] mimics many of the features of quantum mechanics, such as entanglement and no-cloning, regarded as being important in this regard, despite being a local hidden variable theory. In this work we study several protocols within Spekkens' toy model where we see it can a…

This paper addresses the question how to implement a desired two-qubit gate U using a given tunable two-qubit entangling interaction H_int. We present a general method which is based on the K_1 A K_2 decomposition of unitary matrices in SU(4) to calculate analytically the smallest number of two-qubit gates U_int [based on H_int] and single-qubit rotations, and the explicit sequence of these operations that are required to implement U. We illustrate our protocol by calculating the implementation of (1) the transformation from standard basis to Bell basis, (2) the CNOT gate, and (3) the quantum …
We show that any classical two-way communication protocol with shared randomness that can approximately simulate the result of applying an arbitrary measurement (held by one party) to a quantum state of $n$ qubits (held by another), up to constant accuracy, must transmit at least $Ω(2^n)$ bits. This lower bound is optimal and matches the complexity of a simple protocol based on discretisation using an $ε$-net. The proof is based on a lower bound on the classical communication complexity of a distributed variant of the Fourier sampling problem. We obtain two optimal quantum-classical separation…
