We consider a recently proposed model in which dark matter interacts with a thermal background of dark radiation. Dark radiation consists of relativistic degrees of freedom which allow larger values of the expansion rate of the universe today to be consistent with CMB data ($H_0$-problem). Scattering between dark matter and radiation suppresses the matter power spectrum at small scales and can explain the apparent discrepancies between $Λ$CDM predictions of the matter power spectrum and direct measurements of Large Scale Structure LSS ($σ_8$-problem). We go beyond previous work in two ways: 1. we enlarge the parameter space of our previous model and allow for an arbitrary fraction of the dark matter to be interacting and 2. we update the data sets used in our fits, most importantly we include LSS data with full $k$-dependence to explore the sensitivity of current data to the shape of the matter power spectrum. We find that LSS data prefer models with overall suppressed matter clustering due to dark matter - dark radiation interactions over $Λ$CDM at 3-4 $σ$. However recent weak lensing measurements of the power spectrum are not yet precise enough to clearly distinguish two limits of the model with different predicted shapes for the linear matter power spectrum. In two Appendices we give a derivation of the coupled dark matter and dark radiation perturbation equations from the Boltzmann equation in order to clarify a confusion in the recent literature, and we derive analytic approximations to the solutions of the perturbation equations in the two physically interesting limits of all dark matter weakly interacting or a small fraction of dark matter strongly interacting.
I consider couplings between the dark energy and dark matter sectors. I describe how the existence of an adiabatic regime, in which the dark energy field instantaneously tracks the minimum of its effective potential, opens the door for a catastrophic instability. This {\it adiabatic instability} tightly constrains a wide class of interacting dark sector models. This talk was presented at, and will appear in the proceedings of the DPF-2009 conference.
The phrase "more is different" is often used to refer to the new, unexpected collective phenomena that can arise when the number of states in a given system is large. In this contribution to the Snowmass 2021 Study, we describe 13 unexpected collective phenomena that can arise when the dark sector contains a large number of states, contrary to the usual assumptions. These 13 take-away lessons stretch across all of the domains of relevance for dark-matter physics, including collider signatures, direct-detection signatures, indirect-detection signatures, new perspectives on dark-matter complemen…
The cosmological model of dark energy interacting with cold dark matter without coupling to the baryonic matter, is studied in the background of both classical Einstein and loop quantum cosmology. We consider two types of interacting models. In the former model, the interaction is a linear combination of the densities of two dark sectors, while in the latter model, the interaction with a constant transfer rate depends only on the density of cold dark matter. It is shown that the dynamical results in loop quantum cosmology are different from those in classical Einstein cosmology for both two ki…
We investigate possible cosmological effects of interacting scalar radiation and dark matter. After its decoupling, scalar radiation can stream freely as neutrinos or self-interact strongly as perfect fluid, highly depending on the magnitude of its self-couplings. We obtain the general and novel structure for self-scattering rate and compare it with the expansion rate of our Universe. If its trilinear/cubic coupling is non-zero, scalar radiation can be eventually treated as perfect fluid. Possible effects on CMB are also discussed. When this scalar also mediates interaction among dark matter p…
Short baseline neutrino oscillation experiments have shown hints of the existence of additional sterile neutrinos in the eV mass range. Such sterile neutrinos are incompatible with cosmology because they suppress structure formation unless they can be prevented from thermalising in the early Universe or removed by subsequent decay or annihilation. Here we present a novel scenario in which both sterile neutrinos and dark matter are coupled to a new, light pseudoscalar. This can prevent thermalisation of sterile neutrinos and make dark matter sufficiently self-interacting to have an impact on ga…
The viscosity of dark matter in cosmological models may cause an accelerated expansion and when this effect is sufficiently large, it can explain the dark energy. In this work, attributing the origin of viscosity to self-interaction of dark matter, we study the viscous cosmology at small redshift $(0\leq z\leq2.5)$. Assuming the cluster scale to be virialized and by modeling a power law behavior of velocity gradients, we calculate the Hubble expansion rate, $H(z)$ and the deceleration parameter, $q(z)$. We then perform a $χ^{2}$ analysis to estimate the best fit model parameters. By using the …
We analyze reheating scenarios where a hidden sector is populated during reheating along with the sector containing the Standard Model. We numerically solve the Boltzmann equations describing perturbative reheating of the two sectors, including the full dependence on quantum statistics, and study how quantum statistical effects during reheating as well as the non-equilibrium inflaton-mediated energy transfer between the two sectors affects the temperature evolution of the two radiation baths. We obtain new power laws describing the temperature evolution of fermions and bosons when quantum stat…
We consider a fermionic dark matter candidate interacting via a scalar mediator coupled with the Standard Model through a Higgs portal. We consider general setting including both scalar and pseudoscalar interactions between the scalar and fermion, and illustrate the relevant features for dark matter abundance, direct search limits and collider constraints. The case where dark matter has a self-interaction strength $\left\langle σ_V \right\rangle/m_ψ\sim 0.1-1 \,\mathrm{cm}^2/\mathrm{g}$ is strongly constrained, in particular by the Big Bang Nucleosynthesis. We show that these constraints can b…
Mirror matter is a stable self-collisional dark matter candidate. If parity is a conserved unbroken symmetry of nature, there could exist a parallel hidden (mirror) sector of the Universe composed of particles with the same masses and obeying the same physical laws as our (visible) sector, except for the opposite handedness of weak interactions. The two sectors interact predominantly via gravity, therefore mirror matter is naturally "dark". Here I review the cosmological signatures of mirror dark matter, concerning thermodynamics of the early Universe, Big Bang nucleosynthesis, primordial stru…
A simple way to accommodate dark matter is to postulate the existence of a hidden sector. That is, a set of new particles and forces interacting with the known particles predominantly via gravity. In general this leads to a large set of unknown parameters, however if the hidden sector is an exact copy of the standard model sector, then an enhanced symmetry arises. This symmetry, which can be interpreted as space-time parity, connects each ordinary particle ($e, \ ν, \ p, \ n, \ γ, ....)$ with a mirror partner ($e', \ ν', \ p', \ n', \ γ', ...)$. If this symmetry is completely unbroken, then th…
The Noether Symmetry Approach is applied to interacting quintessence cosmology with the aim to search for exact solutions and select scalar-field self-interaction potentials. It turns out that the solutions found are compatible with the accelerated expansion of the Universe and with observational dataset, as the SNeIa Pantheon data.
We study the cosmology and LHC phenomenology of a consistent strongly interacting dark sector coupled to Standard Model particles through a generic vector mediator. We lay out the requirements for the model to be cosmologically viable, identify annihilations into dark vector mesons as the dominant dark matter freeze-out process and discuss bounds from direct detection. At the LHC the model predicts dark showers, which can give rise to semi-visible jets or displaced vertices. Existing searches for di-jet resonances and for missing energy mostly probe the parameter regions where prompt decays ar…
Unless some unknown symmetry in Nature prevents or suppresses a non-minimal coupling in the dark sector, the dark energy field may interact with the pressureless component of dark matter. In this paper, we investigate some cosmological consequences of a general model of interacting dark matter-dark energy characterized by a dimensionless parameter $ε$. We derive a coupled scalar field version for this general class of scenarios and carry out a joint statistical analysis involving SNe Ia data ({Legacy} and {Constitution} sets), measurements of baryon acoustic oscillation peak at $z = 0.20$ (2dF…
We consider scenarios where the inflaton field decays dominantly to a hidden dark matter (DM) sector. By studying the typical behavior of the Standard Model (SM) Higgs field during inflation, we derive a relation between the primordial tensor-to-scalar ratio $r$ and amplitude of the residual DM isocurvature perturbations $β$ which is typically generated if the DM is thermally decoupled from the SM sector. We consider different expansion histories and find that if the Universe was radiation- or matter-dominated after inflation, a future discovery of primordial DM isocurvature will rule out all …
We investigate Holographic Dark Energy Correspondence of Interacting Generalized Chaplygin Gas model in the framework of compact Kaluza-Klein cosmology. The evolution of the modified holographic dark energy and the equation of state parameter is obtained here.Using the present observational value of density parameter a stable configuration is formed which accommodates Dark Energy. we note a connection between Dark Energy and Phantom field and have shown that Dark Energy might have evolved from a Phantom state in the past.
There is strong evidence in favor of the idea that dark matter is self interacting, with the cross section-to-mass ratio $σ/ m \sim 1\,\mathrm{cm^2/g} \sim 1\,\mathrm{barn/GeV}$. We show that viable models of dark matter with this large cross section are straightforwardly realized with non-Abelian hidden sectors. In the simplest of such models, the hidden sector is a pure gauge theory, and the dark matter is composed of hidden glueballs with a mass around $100\,\mathrm{MeV}$. Alternatively, the hidden sector may be a supersymmetric pure gauge theory with a $\sim 10\,\mathrm{TeV}$ gluino therma…
We investigate interacting dark energy models in the framework of fractal cosmology. We discuss a fractal FRW universe filled with the dark energy and dark matter which interact with each other. We obtain the equation for the relative density of dark matter and dark energy and the deceleration parameter. This model demonstrates new types of evolution, which are not common to cosmological models with this type of interaction.
We consider an interacting field theory model that describes the dark energy - dark matter interaction. Only for a specific interaction term, this interacting field theory description has an equivalent interacting fluid description. For inverse power law potentials and linear interaction function, we show that the interacting dark sector model with field-fluid mapping is consistent with \textit{four cosmological data sets} -- Hubble parameter measurements (Hz), Baryonic Acoustic Oscillation data (BAO), Supernova Type Ia data (SN), and High redshift HII galaxy measurements (HIIG). More specific…
We study the entropy-corrected version of the holographic dark energy (HDE) model in the framework of modified FRW cosmology. We consider a non-flat universe filled with an interacting viscous entropy-corrected HDE (ECHDE) with dark matter. We also include the case of variable gravitational constant G in our model. We obtain the equation of state and the deceleration parameters of the interacting viscous ECHDE. Moreover, we reconstruct the potential and the dynamics of the quintessence, tachyon, K-essence and dilaton scalar field models according to the evolutionary behavior of the interacting…
Motivated by the cosmological constant and the coincidence problems, we consider a cosmological model where the cosmological constant $Λ_0$ is replaced by a cosmological term $Λ(t)$ which is allowed to vary in time. More specifically, we are considering that this dark energy term interacts with dark matter through the phenomenological decay law $\dotρ_Λ=-Qρ_Λ^{n}$. We have constrained the model for the range $n\in[0,10]$ using various observational data (SNeIa, GRB, CMB, BAO, OHD), emphasizing the case where $n=3/2$. This case is the only one where the late-time value for the ratio of dark ene…
From higher dimensional theories, e.g. string theory, one expects the presence of non-minimally coupled scalar fields. We review the notion of conformal frames in cosmology and emphasize their physical equivalence, which holds at least at a classical level. Furthermore, if there is a field, or fields, which dominates the universe, as it is often the case in cosmology, we can use such notion of frames to treat our system, matter and gravity, as two different sectors. On one hand, the gravity sector which describes the dynamics of the geometry and on the other hand the matter sector which has su…
Rényi holographic dark energy (RHDE) correspondence is discussed in higher dimensional cosmology, namely Kaluza-Klein (KK) cosmology. Both interacting and non-interacting cosmological scenario are considered here. It is found that the non-interacting model naturally leads to the late accelerated universe, unlike the standard Holographic Dark Energy models in 4$D$, which requires interaction to accommodate the late-time acceleration of the universe. The interacting model produces an accelerating universe at late time albeit failing to attain the estimated present value of the deceleration param…
We perform a detailed phase-space analysis of various phantom cosmological models, where the dark energy sector interacts with the dark matter one. We examine whether there exist late-time scaling attractors, corresponding to an accelerating universe and possessing dark energy and dark matter densities of the same order. We find that all the examined models, although accepting stable late-time accelerated solutions, cannot alleviate the coincidence problem, unless one imposes a form of fine-tuning in the model parameters. It seems that interacting phantom cosmology cannot fulfill the basic req…
The cosmology of the fully $α'$-corrected duality-invariant action for the Neveu-Schwarz sector of string theory is revisited, with special emphasis on its coupling to matter sources. The role of the duality covariant pressure and dilatonic charge of the matter sector is explored in various contexts, from the low-curvature regime to non-perturbative solutions in $α'$. We comment on how an infinite tower of $α'$ corrections allows for fixed-dilaton de Sitter solutions, even in vacuum. We further investigate the necessary conditions for accelerated expansion in the Einstein frame, as well as for…
We investigate the cosmology of interacting spin-2 particles, formulating the multi-gravitational theory in terms of vierbeins and without imposing any Deser-van Nieuwenhuizen-like constraint. The resulting multi-vierbein theory represents a wider class of gravitational theories if compared to the corresponding multi-metric models. Moreover, as opposed to its metric counterpart which in general seems to contain ghosts, it has already been proved to be ghost-free. We outline a discussion about the possible matter couplings and we focus on the study of cosmological scenarios in the case of three…
Mirror matter is a stable self-collisional dark matter candidate. If exact mirror parity is a conserved symmetry of nature, there could exist a parallel hidden (mirror) sector of the Universe which has the same kind of particles and the same physical laws of our (visible) sector. The two sectors interact each other predominantly via gravity, therefore mirror matter is naturally "dark". Here I briefly review the cosmological signatures of mirror dark matter, as Big Bang nucleosynthesis, primordial structure formation and evolution, cosmic microwave background and large scale structure power spe…
In view of growing interest in long range scalar forces in the early universe to generate primordial black holes, we study in detail the general relativistic formulation of a Fermi gas interacting with a scalar field in cosmology. Our main finding is that the Yukawa interaction leads to a solution where the scalar field oscillates around zero fermion mass and all energy densities decay as radiation. On one hand, we show that if the Fermi gas starts relativistic, it could stay relativistic. On the other hand, if the fermions are initially non-relativistic, they remain non-relativistic for all p…
We consider the relationship between fluid models of an interacting dark sector, and the field theoretical models that underlie such descriptions. This question is particularly important in light of suggestions that such interactions may help alleviate a number of current tensions between different cosmological datasets. We construct consistent field theory models for an interacting dark sector that behave exactly like the coupled fluid ones, even at the level of linear perturbations, and can be trusted deep in the nonlinear regime. As a specific example, we focus on the case of a Dirac, Born-…
In this paper we explore possible extensions of Interacting Dark Energy cosmologies, where Dark Energy and Dark Matter interact non-gravitationally with one another. In particular, we focus on the neutrino sector, analyzing the effect of both neutrino masses and the effective number of neutrino species. We consider the Planck 2018 legacy release data combined with several other cosmological probes, finding no evidence for new physics in the dark radiation sector. The current neutrino constraints from cosmology should be therefore regarded as robust, as they are not strongly dependent on the da…
We discuss Tsallis holographic dark energy (THDE) model in higher dimension. An interacting dark energy model is proposed with Generalized Chaplygin Gas (GCG) in the framework of Compact Kaluza-Klein gravity. It is shown that a stable configuration can be found in the present epoch which is also compatible with the observed value of the density parameter. It is noted that dark energy (DE) might have evolved from a phantom phase in the past. Nature of dark energy is found to depend on the coupling parameter of the interaction. Classical stability consideration is also found to put an upper boun…
There is no unique way to describe the dark energy-dark matter interaction, as we have little information about the nature and dynamics of the dark sector. Hence, in many of the phenomenological dark matter fluid interaction models in the literature, the interaction strength $Q_ν$ in the dark sector is introduced by hand. Demanding that the interaction strength $Q_ν$ in the dark sector must have a field theory description, we obtain a unique form of interaction strength. We show the equivalence between the fields and fluids for the $f(R,χ)$ model where $f$ is an arbitrary, smooth function of $…
We study a model of a keV-scale sterile neutrino with a relatively large mixing with the Standard Model sector. Usual considerations predict active generation of such particles in the early Universe, which leads to constraints from the total Dark Matter density and absence of X-ray signal from sterile neutrino decay. These bounds together may deem any attempt of creation of the keV scale sterile neutrino in the laboratory unfeasible. We argue that for models with a hidden sector coupled to the sterile neutrino these bounds can be evaded, opening new perspectives for the direct studies at neutr…
Mirror and more generic hidden sector dark matter models can simultaneously explain the DAMA, CoGeNT and CRESST dark matter signals consistently with the null results of the other experiments. This type of dark matter can be captured by the Earth and shield detectors because it is self-interacting. This effect will lead to a diurnal modulation in dark matter detectors. We estimate the size of this effect for dark matter detectors in various locations. For a detector located in the northern hemisphere, this effect is expected to peak in April and can be detected for optimistic parameter choices…
We investigate the interacting dark sector composed of dark matter, dark energy, and dark radiation for a spatially flat Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) background by introducing a three-dimensional internal space spanned by the interaction vector $\mathbf{Q}$ and solve the source equation for a linear transversal interaction. Then, we explore a realistic model with dark matter coupled to a scalar field plus a decoupled radiation term, analyze the amount of dark energy in the radiation era and find that our model is consistent with the recent measurements of cosmic microwave background anisot…
We discuss a new interacting model for the cosmological dark sector in which the attenuated dilution of cold dark matter scales as $a^{-3}f(a)$, where f(a) is an arbitrary function of the cosmic scale factor $a$. From thermodynamic arguments, we show that f(a) is proportional to entropy source of the particle creation process. In order to investigate the cosmological consequences of this kind of interacting models, we expand f(a) in a power series and viable cosmological solutions are obtained. Finally, we use current observational data to place constraints on the interacting function f(a).
This paper presents a systematic and accurate treatment of the evolution of cosmological perturbations in self-interacting dark matter models, for particles which decoupled from the primordial plasma while relativistic. We provide a numerical implementation of the Boltzmann hierarchies developed in a previous paper [JCAP, 09 (2020) 041] in a publicly available Boltzmann code and show how it can be applied to realistic DM candidates such as sterile neutrinos either under resonant or non-resonant production mechanisms, and for different field mediators. At difference with traditional fluid appro…
We examine the conformal equivalence between the $f(R)$ gravity and the interacting dark sector model. We review the well-known result that the conformal transformation physically corresponds to the mass dilation which marks the strength of interaction between dark sectors. Instead of modeling f(R) gravity in the Jordan frame, we construct the $f(R)$ gravity in terms of mass dilation function in the Einstein frame. We find that the condition to keep $f(R)$ gravity consistent with CMB observations ensures the energy flow from dark energy to dark matter in the corresponding interacting model, wh…
Self-interacting dark matter is known as one of the most appropriate candidates for dark matter. Due to its excellent success in removing many astrophysical problems, particularly in small scale structure, studying this model has taken on added significance. In this paper, we focus on the results of two previously performed simulations of cluster sized halos with self-interacting dark matter and introduce a new function for the density profile of galaxy clusters, which can perfectly describe the result of these simulations. This density profile helps to find a velocity dispersion profile and a…
Following the path of minimalism in alternative theories of gravity, we construct the "Minimal Theory of Bigravity" (MTBG), a theory of two interacting spin-2 fields that propagates only four local degrees of freedom instead of the usual seven ones and that allows for the same homogeneous and isotropic cosmological solutions as in Hassan-Rosen bigravity (HRBG). Starting from a precursor theory that propagates six local degrees of freedom, we carefully choose additional constraints to eliminate two of them to construct the theory. Investigating the cosmology of MTBG, we find that it accommodate…
Vacuum energy is a simple model for dark energy driving an accelerated expansion of the universe. If the vacuum energy is inhomogeneous in spacetime then it must be interacting. We present the general equations for a spacetime-dependent vacuum energy in cosmology, including inhomogeneous perturbations. We show how any dark energy cosmology can be described by an interacting vacuum+matter. Different models for the interaction can lead to different behaviour (e.g., sound speed for dark energy perturbations) and hence could be distinguished by cosmological observations. As an example we present t…
A long-range force acting only between nonbaryonic particles would be associated with a large violation of the weak equivalence principle. We explore cosmological consequences of this idea, which we label ReBEL (daRk Breaking Equivalence principLe). A high resolution hydrodynamical simulation of the distributions of baryons and dark matter confirms our previous findings that a ReBEL force of comparable strength to gravity on comoving scales of about 1 Mpc/h causes voids between the concentrations of large galaxies to be more nearly empty, suppresses accretion of intergalactic matter onto galax…
Theories of massive gravity with one or two dynamical metrics generically lack stable and observationally-viable cosmological solutions that are distinguishable from $Λ$CDM. We consider an extension to trimetric gravity, with three interacting spin-2 fields which are not plagued by the Boulware-Deser ghost. We systematically explore every combination with two free parameters in search of background cosmologies that are competitive with $Λ$CDM. For each case we determine whether the expansion history satisfies viability criteria, and whether or not it contains beyond-$Λ$CDM phenomenology. Among…
One of the fundamental assumptions of the standard $Λ$CDM cosmology is that, on large scales, all the matter-energy components of the Universe share a common rest frame. This seems natural for the visible sector, that has been in thermal contact and tightly coupled in the primeval Universe. The dark sector, on the other hand, does not have any non-gravitational interaction known to date and therefore, there is no a priori reason to impose that it is comoving with ordinary matter. In this work we explore the consequences of relaxing this assumption and study the cosmology of non-comoving fluids…
The recently observed accelerated expansion of the universe has put a challenge for its theoretical understanding. As a possible explanation of this, it is considered that the most part of the present universe is filled with a form of energy that exerts a negative pressure called dark energy, which drives the acceleration. In the present work, we assume a dynamical dark energy model, where dark energy interacts with matter and grows at the expense of the latter. Using this model, we discuss the evolution of the universe within the context of loop quantum cosmology. Our work successfully explai…
In this work it is investigated general models with interactions between two canonical scalar fields and between one non-canonical (tachyon-type) and one canonical scalar field. The potentials and couplings to the gravity are selected through the Noether symmetry approach. These general models are employed to describe interactions between dark energy and dark matter, with the fields being constrained by the astronomical data. The cosmological solutions of some cases are compared with the observed evolution of the late Universe.
We use observational data from Type Ia Supernovae (SNIa), Baryon Acoustic Oscillations (BAO), and Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB), along with requirements of Big Bang Nucleosynthesis (BBN), to constrain the cosmological scenarios governed by Horava-Lifshitz gravity. We consider both the detailed and non-detailed balance versions of the gravitational sector, and we include the matter and radiation sectors. We conclude that the detailed-balance scenario cannot be ruled out from the observational point of view, however the corresponding likelihood contours impose tight constraints on the involv…
We discuss the possibility to implement a viscous cosmological model, attributing to the dark matter component a behaviour described by bulk viscosity. Since bulk viscosity implies negative pressure, this rises the possibility to unify the dark sector. At the same time, the presence of dissipative effects may alleviate the so called small scale problems in the $Λ$CDM model. While the unified viscous description for the dark sector does not lead to consistent results, the non-linear behaviour indeed improves the situation with respect to the standard cosmological model.
In this work we extend the first order formalism for cosmological models that present an interaction between a fermionic and a scalar field. Cosmological exact solutions describing universes filled with interacting dark energy and dark matter have been obtained. Viable cosmological solutions with an early period of decelerated expansion followed by late acceleration have been found, notably one which presents a dark matter component dominating in the past and a dark energy component dominating in the future. In another one, the dark energy alone is the responsible for both periods, similar to …
In trace-free Einstein gravity, the stress-energy tensor of matter is not necessarily conserved and so the theory offers a natural framework for interacting dark energy models where dark energy has a constant equation of state $w=-1$. We derive the equations of motion for linear cosmological perturbations in interacting dark energy models of this class, focusing on the scalar sector. Then, we consider a specific model where the energy-momentum transfer potential is proportional to the energy density of cold dark matter; this transfer potential has the effect of inducing an effective equation o…
In this paper we study in detail the phase space of a cosmological system consisting of two coupled fluids, namely a dark energy fluid coupled with a superfluid dark matter fluid. The dark matter fluid is assumed to have a superfluid equation of state, hence it is not pressureless and our aim is to find the impact of this non-trivial equation of state on the phase space of the coupled system. We shall use two theoretical contexts, namely that of classical cosmology and that of loop quantum cosmology. In the classical case, we investigated the existence and stability of fixed points, and as we …
This is one chapter of the collection of problems in cosmology, in which we assemble the problems that concern one of the most distinctive features of modern cosmology---the interaction in the Dark Sector. The evolution of any broadly applied model is accompanied by multiple generalizations that aim to resolve conceptual difficulties and to explain the ever-growing pool of observational data. In the case of Standard Cosmological Model one of the most promising directions of generalization is replacement of the cosmological constant with a more complicated, dynamic, form of dark energy and inco…
In this work we shall investigate the occurrence of future cosmological finite-time singularities in the dynamical system corresponding to two cosmological theories, namely that of vacuum $f(R)$ gravity and that of three fluids. The vacuum $f(R)$ gravity is an example for which the variables we will choose to quantify the phase space dynamics, do not necessarily blow-up near a cosmological singularity. After appropriately choosing the variables, we shall investigate the behavior of the corresponding dynamical system near some types of cosmological finite-time singularities, for some limiting c…
