Existence and Asymptotics of Abstract Functional Differential Equations

It is shown how the linear method of the Yosida-approximation of the derivative applies to solve possibly nonlinear abstract functional differential equations in both, the finite and infinite delay case. A generalization of the integral solution will provide regularity results. Moreover, this method applies to derive uniform convergence on the halfline, and therefore general results on boundedness and various types of asymptotic almost periodicity.

In the underlying study it is shown how the linear method of the Yosida-approximation of the derivative applies to solve possibly nonlinear and multivalued functional differential equations like: \begin{eqnarray*} u^\prime(t) &\in& A(t,u_t)u(t) +ωu(t), \ t \in \mathbb{R} \end{eqnarray*} Furthermore, in the case of finite and infinite delay we give an answer about whether the solution is bounded, periodic, almost periodic, or some kind of almost automorphy.

Asymptotic Stability and Smooth Lyapunov Functions for a Class of Abstract Dynamical Systems

This paper deals with asymptotic stability of a class of dynamical systems in terms of smooth Lyapunov pairs. We point out that well known converse Lyapunov results for differential inclusions cannot be applied to this class of dynamical systems. An evolution problem for abstract differential equations is studied. S-asymptotically $ω$-periodic solutions in distribution for a class of stochastic fractional functional differential equations

In this paper, we introduce the concepts of S-asymptotically $ω$-periodic solutions in distribution for a class of stochastic fractional functional differential equations. The existence and uniqueness results for the S-asymptotically $ω$-periodic solutions in distribution are obtained by means of the successive approximation and the Banach contraction mapping principle, respectively.

Asymptotic Behavior of Solutions of periodic linear partial functional differential equations on the half line

We study conditions for the abstract linear functional differential equation $\dot{x}=Ax+F(t)x_t+f(t), t\ge 0$ to have asymptotic almost periodic solutions, where $F(\cdot )$ is periodic, $f$ is asymptotic almost periodic. The main conditions are stated in terms of the spectrum of the monodromy operator associated with the equation and the circular spectrum of the forcing term $f$. The obtained results extend recent results on the subject.

Asymptotics and functional form of correlators in the XX - spin chain of finite length

We verify the functional form of the asymptotics of the spin - spin equal - time correlation function for the XX-chain, predicted by the hypothesis of conformal invariance at large distances and by the bosonization procedure. We point out that bosonization also predicts the functional form of the correlators for the chains of finite length.
