Lax orthogonal factorisations in ordered structures

We give an account of lax orthogonal factorisation systems on order-enriched categories. Among them, we define and characterise the KZ-reflective ones, in a way that mirrors the characterisation of reflective orthogonal factorisation systems. We use simple monads to construct lax orthogonal factorisation systems, such as one on the category of T_0 topological spaces closely related to continuous lattices.

On factorisation systems for Ord-enriched categories and categories of partial maps

In this work we discuss a new type of factorisation systems for \textbf{Ord}-enriched categories. We start by defining the new notion of lax weak orthogonality, which involves the existence of lax diagonal morphisms for lax squares. This paper introduces lax orthogonal algebraic weak factorisation systems on 2-categories and describes a method of constructing them. This method rests in the notion of simple 2-monad, that is a generalisation of the simple reflections studied by Cassidy, Hébert and Kelly. Cofibrantly generated lax orthogonal factorisation systems

First, to complement the theory of cofibrant generation of algebraic weak factorisation systems (AWFSs) to cover some important examples that are not locally presentable categories. Factorisations of some partially ordered sets and small categories

Orbits of automorphism groups of partially ordered sets are not necessarily congruence classes, i.e. images of an order homomorphism. Based on so-called orbit categories a framework of factorisations and unfoldings is developed that preserves the antisymmetry of the order Relation. Stochastic order on metric spaces and the ordered Kantorovich monad

In earlier work, we had introduced the Kantorovich probability monad on complete metric spaces, extending a construction due to van Breugel. Here we extend the Kantorovich monad further to a certain class of ordered metric spaces, by endowing the spaces of probability measures with the usual stochastic order. It can be considered a metric analogue of the probabilistic powerdomain.
