We explore the butterfly effect for black holes with rotation or charge. We perturb rotating BTZ and charged black holes in 2+1 dimensions by adding a small perturbation on one asymptotic region, described by a shock wave in the spacetime, and explore the effect of this shock wave on the length of geodesics through the wormhole and hence on correlation functions. We find the effect of the perturbation grows exponentially at a rate controlled by the temperature; dependence on the angular momentum or charge does not appear explicitly. We comment on issues affecting the extension to higher-dimensional charged black holes.
In this paper, we calculate thermodynamical quantity of Kerr-Newman-AdS black hole solution in quintessence matter. Then, we show that how the rotation and cosmological parameters effect to the thermodynamics properties of black hole. Also, we investigate both types of phase transition for different values of $ω$ parameter in extended phase space. We notice that type one of phase transition occurs for $P<0.42$ and $a<0.5$. And also we see that the phase transition point shifts to higher entropy when pressure $P$, rotation parameter $a$ and $α$ increase. Also, we find that by changing parameter…
We construct the solution for non-extremal charged rotating black holes in seven-dimensional gauged supergravity, in the case with only one rotation parameter and two independent charges. Using the Boyer-Lindquist coordinates, the metric is expressed in a generalized form of the ansatz previously presented in [S.Q. Wu, Phys. Rev. D 83 (2011) 121502(R)], which may be helpful to find the most general non-extremal two-charged rotating black hole with three unequal rotation parameters. The conserved charges for thermodynamics are also computed.
We consider asymptotically AdS, non-extremal, charged and rotating black holes with rotation in a single 2-plane and two independent U(1) charge parameters. Using a common ansatz, solutions are found for 5-dimensional U(1)^3 gauged supergravity, 7-dimensional U(1)^2 gauged supergravity, and 6-dimensional U(1) gauged supergravity coupled to matter. We also find static AdS black holes with two U(1) charges of a certain theory in arbitrary dimensions. Some basic properties of the solutions are studied.
We construct new non-extremal rotating black hole solutions in SO(6) gauged five-dimensional supergravity. Our solutions are the first such examples in which the two rotation parameters are independently specifiable, rather than being set equal. The black holes carry charges for all three of the gauge fields in the U(1)^3 subgroup of SO(6), albeit with only one independent charge parameter. We discuss the BPS limits, showing in particular that these include the first examples of regular supersymmetric black holes with independent angular momenta in gauged supergravity. We also find non-singula…
We examine the dual conformal field theory for extremal charged black holes in five-dimensional minimal supergravity with 2 independent angular momenta. The conformal field theory Virasoro algebra, central charge, and temperature are calculated. Additionally the conformal field theory entropy is calculated using the Cardy formula and agrees with the Bekenstein-Hawking black hole entropy. The central charges are directly proportional to the angular momentum components of the black hole. In five and higher dimensions, rotations of the spacetime correspond to rotations of the central charges lead…
We generalize the vacuum static black brane solutions of Einstein's equations with negative cosmological constant recently discussed in literature, by introducing rotations and an electromagnetic field. We investigate numerically the thermodynamical properties of the charged and of the rotating $AdS$ black brane and we provide evidences for the existence of the charged and rotating case. In particular, we study the influence of the rotation and charge on the tension and mass. We find that the rotation essentially influences the tensions while the charge essentially influences the mass.
In this paper, we present the metric for the $n$-dimensional charged slowly rotating dilaton black hole with $N = [(n -1)/2]$ independent rotation parameters, associated with $N$ orthogonal planes of rotation in the background of asymptotically flat and asymptotically (anti)-de Sitter spacetime. The mass, angular momentum and the gyromagnetic ratio of such a black hole are determined for the arbitrary values of the dilaton coupling constant. We find that the gyromagnetic ratio crucially depends on the dilaton coupling constant, $α$, and decreases with increasing $α$ in any dimension.
Motivated by the recent studies of the novel asymptotically global AdS$_4$ black hole with deforming horizon, we consider the action of Einstein-Maxwell gravity in AdS spacetime and construct the charged deforming AdS black holes with differential boundary. In contrast to deforming black hole without charge, there exists at least one value of horizon for an arbitrary temperature. The extremum of temperature is determined by charge $q$ and divides the range of temperature into several parts. Moreover, we use an isometric embedding in the three-dimensional space to investigate the horizon geomet…
We investigate the possibility of charged pion condensation in the presence of parallel rotation and magnetic field within the Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model with quarks as the fundamental degrees of freedom. Previous study based on non-interacting Klein-Gordon theory for pions showed that the charged pions will undergo Bose-Einstein condensation under this circumstance [Y. Liu and I. Zahed, Phys. Rev. Lett. ${\bf 120}$, 032001 (2018)]. In this work, we take into account the internal quark structures of charged pions self-consistently through quark polarization loops in an interacting theory, i.e.,…

In this paper we construct rotating charged hairy black hole in (2+1) dimensions for infinitesimal black hole charge and rotation parameters. Then we consider this black hole as particle accelerator and calculate the center-of-mass energy of two colliding test particles near the rotating charged hairy black hole in (2+1) dimensions. As we expected, the center-of-mass energy has infinite value.
Generally black hole could be over charged/spun violating the weak cosmic censorship conjecture (WCCC) for linear order accretion while the same is always restored back for non-linear accretion. The only exception however is that of a five dimensional rotating black hole with single rotation that cannot be overspun even at linear order. In this paper we investigate this question for a five dimensional charged rotating minimally gauged supergravity black hole and show that it could not be overspun under non-linear accretion and thereby respecting WCCC. However in the case of single rotation WCC…
The properties of a massive fermion field undergoing rigid rotation at finite temperature and chemical potential are discussed. The polarisation imbalance is taken into account by considering a helicity chemical potential, which is dual to the helicity charge operator. The advantage of the proposed approach is that, as opposed to the axial current, the helicity charge current remains conserved at finite mass. A computation of thermal expectation values of the vector, helicity and axial charge currents, as well as of the fermion condensate and stress-energy tensor is provided. In all cases, ana…
In this paper, we study $P-V$ criticality of Kerr-Newman $AdS$ black hole with a quintessence field. We calculate critical quantities and show that for the equation state parameter $ω= -\frac{1}{3}$, the obtained universal ratio ($\frac{P_{c}\upsilon_{c}}{T_{c}}$) is quite same as Kerr-Newman $AdS$ black hole without dark energy parameter. We investigate the influence of quintessence field $α$, equation state parameter $ω$ and angular momentum $J$ on the efficiency $η$. We find that $η$ is increased by increasing $J$ and $α$ and decreasing charge $Q$ of black hole. We show when $ω$ increases f…
We present balanced black ring solutions of pure Einstein-Maxwell theory in five dimensions. The solutions are asymptotically flat, and their tension and gravitational self-attraction are balanced by the repulsion due to rotation and electrical charge. Hence the solutions are free of conical singularities and possess a regular horizon which exhibits the topology S1 x S2 of a torus. We discuss the global charges and the horizon properties of the solutions and show that they satisfy a Smarr relation. We construct these black rings numerically, restricting to the case of black rings with a rotati…
We use a recent implementation of the large $D$ expansion in order to construct the higher-dimensional Kerr-Newman black hole and also new charged rotating black bar solutions of the Einstein-Maxwell theory, all with rotation along a single plane. We describe the space of solutions, obtain their quasinormal modes, and study the appearance of instabilities as the horizons spread along the plane of rotation. Generically, the presence of charge makes the solutions less stable. Instabilities can appear even when the angular momentum of the black hole is small, as long as the charge is sufficiently…
Inspired by the recent work on the spacetime structure near generic black hole horizons [1], the near horizon charges for an explicit example in higher dimensions than four (d > 4), namely for the five dimensional Myers-Perry metric with two equal rotation parameter are found in Hamiltonian formalism. Finding the supertranslation and the one-form superrotation, it is proved that the Myers-Perry black hole with two equal rotation parameter a = b does not satisfy the gauge flatness condition due to the non-vanishing associated field strength in five dimensional spacetime. It is shown that as the…
By using a new approach, we demonstrate analytic expressions for slowly rotating Gauss-Bonnet charged black holes with negative cosmological constant. Up to the linear order of the rotating parameter a, the mass, Hawking temperature and entropy of the charged black holes get no corrections from rotation.
We show that the combined effects of a rotation plus a magnetic field can cause charged pion condensation. We suggest that this phenomenon may yield to observable effects in current heavy ion collisions at collider energies, where large magnetism and rotations are expected in off-central collisions.
We study Hawking radiation of charged fermions from accelerating and rotation black holes with electric and magnetic charges. We calculate the tunneling probabilities of incoming and outgoing fermionic particles and find the Hawking temperature of these black holes. We also provide an explicit expression of the classical action for the massive and massless particles in the background of these black holes.
