The present work attempts to provide an overview of texture specific lepton mass matrices. In particular, we summarize the findings of some recent analyses carried out within non flavor basis, wherein a parallel texture structure for the lepton and neutrino mass matrices is considered.
We systematically construct an extensive list of realistic mass matrix textures for leptons. For this set of matrices, we discuss the parameter space, and illustrate how these textures could be generated in explicit models from flavor symmetries.
We reanalyze the mass matrix model of quarks and leptons that gives a unified description of quark and lepton mass matrices with the same texture form. By investigating possible types of assignment for the texture components of the lepton mass matrix, we find that a different assignment for neutrinos than for charged leptons can also lead to consistent values of the MNSP lepton mixing matrix. We also find that the predicted value for the lepton mixing matrix element $U_{13}$ of the model depends on the assignment. A proper assignment will be discriminated by future experimental data for $U_{13…
In the light of the recent measurement of the leptonic mixing angle $θ_{13}$, implications of the latest mixing data have been investigated for non-minimal textures of lepton mass matrices pertaining to Dirac neutrinos. All these texture specific lepton mass matrices have been examined for their compatibility with the latest data in the cases of normal hierarchy, inverted hierarchy and degenerate scenario of neutrino masses. The implications of all the three lepton mixing angles have been investigated on the lightest neutrino mass as well as the Jarlskog's CP violating parameter in the leptoni…
Against the conventional picture that the mass matrix forms in the quark sectors will take somewhat different structures from those in the lepton sectors, on the basis of an idea that all the mass matrices of quarks and leptons have the same texture, a universal texture of quark and lepton mass matrices is proposed by assuming a discrete symmetry Z_3 and an extended flavor 2\leftrightarrow 3 symmetry. The texture is described by three parameters (including phase parameter). According to this ansatz, the neutrino masses and mixings are investigated.
We study a variety of different texture patterns in the basis in which the charged lepton mass matrix or neutrino mass matrix or neither are diagonal. The experimental results on the neutrinos provide sufficient restrictions to allow only a small number of simple patterns. We discuss particularly the texture zeroes which provide important relations among the mass eigenvalues and the mixing matrix.
There are many viable combinations of texture zeros in lepton mass matrices. We propose an economical and stable mass texture. Analytical and numerical results on mixing parameters and the effective mass of neutrinos are obtained. These results satisfy new constraints from neutrinos oscillation experiments and cosmological observations. Our proposition reveals that in the complex forest of neutrinos mixing models, a simple and robust one is still possible.
In view of the precise measurement of the leptonic mixing angle θ_{13}, implications of the latest mixing data have been investigated for lepton mass matrices pertaining to Dirac neutrinos. These texture specific lepton mass matrices have been examined for their compatibility with the latest data in the cases of normal hierarchy, inverted hierarchy and degenerate scenario of neutrino masses.
We propose and study a common hierarchical mass texture for both charged lepton and neutrino sectors. The texture gives rise to a large $ν_μ\leftrightarrowν_τ$ mixing. Also it leads to the small angle MSW effect solution for solar neutrino data. It naturally gives a small $ν_e\leftrightarrow ν_τ$ oscillation relevant to the CHOOZ result in certain mass limits.
In the light of the recent measurement of the leptonic mixing angle $θ_{13}$, implications of the latest mixing data have been investigated for non-minimal textures of lepton mass matrices assuming the neutrinos to be Majorana like. Large number of possible texture specific lepton mass matrices have been examined for their compatibility with the lepton mixing data in the case of normal hierarchy, inverted hierarchy and degenerate scenario of neutrino masses. Specifically, apart from other phenomenological quantities the implications of the lepton mixing angle $θ_{13}$ have been investigated on…
We study predictive textures for the lepton mass matrices in which the charged-lepton mass matrix has either four or five zero matrix elements while the neutrino Majorana mass matrix has, respectively, either four or three zero matrix elements. We find that all the viable textures of these two kinds share many predictions: the neutrino mass spectrum is inverted, the sum of the light-neutrino masses is close to 0.1 eV, the Dirac phase $δ$ in the lepton mixing matrix is close to either $0$ or $π$, and the mass term responsible for neutrinoless double-beta decay lies in between 12 and 22 meV.
In this paper we investigate the parallel texture structures with cofactor zeros in the charged lepton and neutrino sectors. The textures can not be obtained from arbitrary leptonic matrices by making weak basis transformations, which therefore have physical meaning. The 15 parallel textures are grouped as 4 classes where each class has the same physical implications. It is founded that one of them is not phenomenological viable and another is equivalent to the texture zero structures extensively explored in previous literature. Thus we focus on the other two classes of parallel texture struct…
I systematically consider, in the context of the type-I see-saw mechanism, all the predictive cases in which both the Dirac mass matrix connecting the left-handed neutrinos to the right-handed neutrinos, and the Majorana mass matrix of the latter neutrinos, feature texture zeros, while the mass matrix of the charged leptons is diagonal. I have found a few cases which had not been discussed in the literature previously.
Taking into account the latest neutrino oscillation data, we study texture zeros of the lepton mass matrices. Assuming the Dirac neutrino mass matrix M_D, the charged-lepton mass matrix M_l and the mass matrix of heavy right-handed Majorana neutrinos M_R to have three texture zeros, we show that the observed neutrino mixing angles can naturally be obtained. The phenomenological implications for the neutrino mass spectrum, the CP-violating phases, the tritium beta decay and the neutrinoless double-beta decay are explored.
Systematic analyses of the textures arising in lepton mass matrices have been carried out using unitary transformations and condition of naturalness for the Dirac and Majorana neutrino possibilities. It is observed that the recent three neutrino oscillation data together with the effective mass in neutrinoless double beta decay provide vital clues in predicting the general structures of these lepton mass matrices.
We analyze the scalar lepton mass matrices in a supersymmetric SO(10) grand unified model with soft SUSY breaking terms generated at Planck scale and a Georgi-Jarslkog Yukawa texture at GUT scale induced by higher dimensional operators. This model predicts lepton flavor violation. The predictive features of the Georgi-Jarlskog texture are used to estimate branching ratios for the radiative decays $e_{a} \rightarrow e_{b}+γ,$ and we find rates that could provide an experimental test for this kind of model.
Implications of recently measured leptonic mixing angle $θ_{13}$ as well as the other two mixing angles have been examined for Fritzsch-like mass matrices with minimal texture for Dirac neutrinos. Interestingly, the existing data seems to rule out this texture specific case of Dirac neutrinos for normal, inverted hierarchy as well as degenerate scenario of masses.
We reanalyze the mass matrices model of quarks and leptons which gives a unified description of quark and lepton mass matrices with the same texture form. By investigating possible types of the assignment for the texture's components of this mass matrix form, we find that a different assignment for up-quarks from one for down-quarks can lead to consistent values of CKM mixing matrix. This finding overcomes a weak point of the previous analysis of the model. We also obtain some relations among the CKM mixing matrix parameters, which are independent of evolution effects.
An analysis of the leptonic texture for the new triangular mass matrices has been carried out. In particular, it is shown that both bimaximal and nearly bimaximal solutions for solar and atmospheric neutrino anomalies can be generated within this pattern. We have also derived exact and compact parametrization of the leptonic mixing matrix in terms of the lepton masses and the parameters $α, β'$ and $δ$. A consistency with the CHOOZ reactor result for $V_m{_{13}}$ and a smallness of the Jarlskog's invariant parameter are obtained.
The measurements of the neutrino and quark mixing angles satisfy the empirical relations called Quark-Lepton Complementarity. These empirical relations suggest the existence of a correlation between the mixing matrices of leptons and quarks. In this work, we examine the possibility that this correlation between the mixing angles of quarks and leptons originates in the similar hierarchy of quarks and charged lepton masses and the seesaw mechanism type~I, that gives mass to the Majorana neutrinos. We assume that the similar mass hierarchies of charged lepton and quark masses allows us to represe…
We analyse the parallel hybrid texture structures in the charged lepton and the neutrino sector. These parallel hybrid texture structures have physical implications as they cannot be obtained from arbitrary lepton mass matrices through weak basis transformations. The total sixty parallel hybrid texture structures can be grouped into twelve classes, and all the hybrid textures in the same class have identical physical implications. We examine all the twelve classes under the assumption of non-factorizable phases in the neutrino mass matrix. Five out of the total twelve classes are found to be p…
Several popular Ansätze of lepton mass matrices that contain texture zeros are confronted with current neutrino observational data. We perform a systematic $χ^2$-analysis in a wide class of schemes, considering arbitrary Hermitian charged lepton mass matrices and symmetric mass matrices for Majorana neutrinos or Hermitian mass matrices for Dirac neutrinos. Our study reveals that several patterns are still consistent with all the observations at 68.27% confidence level, while some others are disfavored or excluded by the experimental data. The well-known Frampton-Glashow-Marfatia two-zero textu…
We propose a simple extension of the electroweak standard model based on the discrete $S_3$ symmetry that is capable of realizing a nearly minimal Fritzsch-type texture for the Dirac mass matrices of both charged leptons and neutrinos. This is achieved with the aid of additional $Z_5$ and $Z_3$ symmetries, one of which can be embedded in $U(1)_{B-L}$. Five complex scalar singlet fields are introduced in addition to the SM with right-handed neutrinos. Although more general, the modified texture of the model retains the successful features of the minimal texture without fine-tuning; namely, it a…
We propose two ans$\rm\ddot{a}$tze of lepton mass matrices with four texture zeros, and confront them with current experimental data on neutrino oscillations. The parameter space of each ansatz is carefully explored. We find that both ans$\rm\ddot{a}$tze can accommodate the normal hierarchy of neutrino masses and the bi-large pattern of lepton flavor mixing. Their predictions for the effective mass of the tritium beta decay and that of the neutrinoless double beta decay are too small to be detectable, but leptonic CP violation at the percent level is allowed. Some discussions are also given ab…
Implications of the lepton mixing angles, in particular of theta_13, have been investigated for minimal as well as non-minimal Fritzsch-like textures for the case of Majorana neutrinos. Both, in minimal texture (texture 6 zero lepton mass matrices) and non-minimal textures (two cases of texture 5 zero lepton mass matrices), inverted hierarchy and degenerate scenario of neutrino masses have been ruled out. The implications of theta_13 have been investigated on the lightest neutrino mass m_ν_1 as well as the effective Majorana mass m_ee.
We show that the Fritzsch texture of lepton mass matrices can naturally lead to the bi-large flavor mixing pattern, if three neutrinos have a normal but weak mass hierarchy (typically, $m_1 : m_2 : m_3 \sim 1 : 3 :10$). The effective mass of the tritium beta decay and that of the neutrinoless double beta decay are too small to be observable in this ansatz, but CP violation at the percent level is allowed and could be measured in long-baseline neutrino oscillations.
In this paper we investigate the parallel texture structures containing texture zeros in charged lepton mass matrix $M_{l}$ and cofactor zeros in neutrino mass matrix $M_ν$. These textures are interesting since they are related to the $Z_{n}$ flavor symmetries. Using the weak basis permutation transformation, the 15 parallel textures are grouped as 4 classes (class I,II,III and IV) with the matrices in each class sharing the same physical implications. Under the current experimental data, the class I, III with inverted mass hierarchy and class II with normal mass hierarchy are phenomenological…
Texture six zero Fritzsch like as well as non Fritzsch like hermitian lepton mass matrices (144 combinations in all) have been investigated for both Majorana and Dirac neutrinos for their compatibility with the current neutrino oscillation data, keeping in mind the hierarchy of neutrino masses. All the combinations considered here for Majorana neutrino masses are ruled out by the existing data in the case of inverted hierarchy and degenerate scenario. For Majorana neutrinos with normal hierarchy, only 16 combinations can accommodate the experimental data. Assuming neutrinos to be Dirac particl…
We note that the emerging features of lepton mixing can be reproduced if, with inverted neutrino mass ordering, both the smallest neutrino mass and the $ττ$ element of the neutrino mass matrix vanish. Then, the atmospheric neutrino mixing angle is less than maximal and the Dirac phase $δ$ is close to $π$. We derive the correlations among the mixing parameters and show that there is a large cancellation in the effective mass responsible for neutrinoless $ββ$ decay. Three simple seesaw models leading to our scenario are provided.
We show that non-Hermitian and nearest-neighbor-interacting perturbations to the Fritzsch textures of lepton and quark mass matrices can make both of them fit current experimental data very well. In particular, we obtain θ_{23} \simeq 45^\circ for the atmospheric neutrino mixing angle and predict θ_{13} \simeq 3^\circ to 6^\circ for the smallest neutrino mixing angle when the perturbations in the lepton sector are at the 20% level. The same level of perturbations is required in the quark sector, where the Jarlskog invariant of CP violation is about 3.7 \times 10^{-5}. In comparison, the streng…
We perform a systematic and complete analysis of texture zeros in the lepton mass matrices and identify all viable and maximally restrictive cases of pairs (M_\ell, M_D) and (M_\ell, M_L), where M_\ell, M_D and M_L are the charged-lepton, Dirac neutrino and Majorana neutrino mass matrices, respectively. To this end, we perform a thorough analysis of textures which are equivalent through weak-basis permutations. Furthermore, we introduce numerical measures for the predictivity of textures and apply them to the viable and maximally restrictive texture zero models. It turns out that for Dirac neu…
We stress that specific texture zeros of lepton mass matrices, which might dynamically arise from a new kind of flavor symmetry, can help us to establish simple and testable relations between the lepton flavor mixing parameters and lepton mass ratios. We present a brief review of one-zero, two-zero and three-zero textures of the neutrino mass matrix. Their phenomenological consequences on neutrino mixing and CP violation are also discussed.
We reconsider an universal mass matrix model which has a seesaw-invariant structure with four-zero texture common to all quarks and leptons. The CKM quark and MNS lepton mixing matrices of the model are analyzed analytically. We show that the model can be consistent with all the experimental data of neutrino oscillation and quark mixings by tuning free parameters of the model. It is also shown that the model predicts a relatively large value for (1,3) element of the MNS lepton mixing matrix, |(U_{MNS})_{13}|^2 \simeq 2.6 \times 10^{-2}. Using the seesaw mechanism, we also discuss the conditions…
In a recent paper, we pointed out that mixing of the light neutrinos with heavy gauge singlet states could reconcile the Z-pole data from e+e- colliders and the nu_mu (anti-nu_mu) scattering data from the NuTeV experiment at Fermilab. We further noted that the mixing angle required to fit the data is much larger than what would be expected from the conventional seesaw mechanism. In this paper, we show how such mixings can be arranged by a judicious choice of the neutrino mass texture. We also argue that by invoking the unification of the Dirac mass matrix for the up-type quarks and the neutrin…
For Majorana or Dirac neutrinos, using Fritzsch-like texture 4 zero mass matrices with parallel texture structures for the charged leptons and the Dirac neutrino mass matrix (M_{νD}), detailed predictions for cases pertaining to normal/inverted hierarchy as well as degenerate scenarios of neutrino masses have been carried out. The inverted hierarchy as well as degenerate scenarios seem to be ruled out at 3 σC.L. for both Majorana and Dirac neutrinos. For normal hierarchy, Jarlskog's rephasing invariant parameter J, the CP violating Dirac-like phase δand the effective neutrino mass m_{ee} have …
We investigate the texture structures of lepton mass matrices with four (five) non-zero elements in the charged lepton mass matrix and three (four) vanishing cofactors in the neutrino mass matrix. Using weak basis transformations, all possible textures for three and four vanishing cofactors in $M_ν$ are grouped into 7 classes and predictions for the unknown parameters such as the Dirac CP violating phase and the effective Majorana mass for the phenomenologically allowed textures have been obtained. We, also, illustrate how such texture structures can be realized using discrete Abelian flavor s…
In theories with three light neutrinos, certain simplicity assumptions allow the construction of a complete list of leading order lepton mass matrices. These matrices are consistent with m_{tau} \neq 0, Delta m^2_{12} \ll Delta m^2_{23}, theta_{23} approx 1, and theta_{13} = 0, as suggested by measurements of atmospheric and solar neutrino fluxes. The list contains twelve generic cases: two have three degenerate neutrinos, eight have two neutrinos forming a Dirac state, and in only two cases is one neutrino much heavier than the other two. For each of these twelve generic cases the possible fo…
Assuming that the neutrino mass matrix is diagonalized by the TBM, we looked for the charged lepton mass matrix textures which render a lepton mixing matrix consistent with data. We were interested in the textures with the maximum number of zeros, so, we explored the cases of real matrices with three (and also four zeros) and found which of them provide solutions in agreement with data. We present the successful Yukawa textures and obtained the relative sizes of their non-zero entries. We found some interesting relations among the entries of these textures in terms of the charged lepton masses…
We show that a universal texture zero in the (1,1) position of all fermionic mass matrices, including heavy right-handed Majorana neutrinos driving a type-I see-saw mechanism, can lead to a viable spectrum of mass, mixing and CP violation for both quarks and leptons, including (but not limited to) three important postdictions: the Cabibbo angle, the charged lepton masses, and the leptonic `reactor' angle. We model this texture zero with a non-Abelian discrete family symmetry that can easily be embedded in a grand unified framework, and discuss the details of the phenomenology after electroweak…
The three active light neutrinos are used to explain the neutrino oscillations. The inherently bi-large mixing neutrino mass matrix and the Fritzsch type, bi-small mixing charged lepton mass matrix are assumed. By requiring the maximal ν_μ-ν_τmixing for the atmospheric neutrino problem and the mass-squared difference approperiate for the almost maximal mixing solution to the solar neutrino problem, the following quantities are predicted: the ν_e-ν_μmixing, V_{e3}, CP violation in neutrino oscillations, and the effective electron-neutrino mass relevant to neutrinoless double beta decays.
Recent neutrino data have been favourable to a nearly bimaximal mixing, which suggests a simple form of the neutrino mass matrix. Stimulated by this matrix form, a possibility that all the mass matrices of quarks and leptons have the same form as in the neutrinos is investigated. The mass matrix form is constrained by a discrete symmetry Z_3 and a permutation symmetry S_2. The model, of course, leads to a nearly bimaximal mixing for the lepton sectors, while, for the quark sectors, it can lead to reasonable values of the CKM mixing matrix and masses.
Texture specific quark mass matrices which are hermitian and hierarchical are examined in detail . In the case of texture 6 zeros matrices, out of sixteen possibilities examined by us, none is able to fit the low energy data (LED), for example, $V_{us} = 0.2196 \pm 0.0023$, $V_{cb} = 0.0395 \pm 0.0017$, $\frac{V_{ub}}{V_{cb}} = 0.08 \pm 0.02$, $V_{td}$ lies in the range $0.004 - 0.013$ (PDG). Similarly none of the 32 texture 5 zeros mass matrices considered is able to reproduce LED. In particular, the latest data from LEP regarding $|V_{ub}|/|V_{cb}|(=0.093\pm0.016)$ rules out all of them. In …
Lepton mass matrices similar to texture 4 zero quark mass matrices, known to be quite successful in explaining the CKM phenomenology, have been considered for finding the mixing matrix element U_{e3} (\equiv s_{13}) respecting the CHOOZ constraint, with s_{12} and Δm_{12}^2 constrained by SNP and s_{23} and Δm_{23}^2 constrained by ANP. Taking charged lepton mass matrix M_l to be diagonal, we find that the ranges of s_{13} corresponding to different SNP solutions very well include the corresponding values of s_{13} found by Akhmedov et al. by considering neutrino mass matrix M_ν with no textur…
We present a systematic study of 400 combinations of the charged lepton and neutrino mass matrices with six vanishing entries or texture zeros. Only 24 of them, which can be classified into a few distinct categories, are found to be compatible with current neutrino oscillation data at the $3σ$ level. A peculiar feature of the lepton mass matrices in each category is that they have the same phenomenological consequences. Taking account of a simple seesaw scenario for six parallel patterns of the charged lepton and Dirac neutrino mass matrices with six zeros, we show that it is possible to fit t…
In an attempt at explaining the observed neutrino mass-squared differences and leptonic mixing, lepton mass matrices with zero textures have been widely studied. In the weak basis where the charged lepton mass matrix is diagonal, various neutrino mass matrices with two zeros have been shown to be consistent with the current experimental data. Using the canonical and Smith normal form methods, we construct the minimal Abelian symmetry realizations of these phenomenological two-zero neutrino textures. The implementation of these symmetries in the context of the seesaw mechanism for Majorana neut…
Against the conventional picture that the mass matrix forms in the quark sectors will take somewhat different structures from those in the lepton sectors, a possibility that all the mass matrices of quarks and leptons have the same form as in the neutrinos is investigated. For the lepton sectors, the model leads to a nearly bimaximal mixing with the prediction |U_{e3}|^2=m_e/2m_μ=0.0024 and \tan^2θ_{sol} \simeq m_{ν1}/m_{ν2}, and so on. For the quark sectors, it can lead to reasonable values of the CKM mixing matrix and masses: |V_{us}|\simeq \sqrt{m_d/m_s}, |V_{ub}| \simeq |V_{cb}|\sqrt{m_u/m…
Assuming that the neutrino mass matrix is diagonalized by the tribimaximal mixing matrix, we explore the textures for the charged lepton mass matrix that render an $U_{PMNS}$ lepton mixing matrix consistent with data. In particular we are interested in finding the textures with the maximum number of zeros. We explore the cases of real matrices with three and four zeros and find that only ten matrices with three zeros provide solutions in agreement with data. We present the successful Yukawa textures including the relative sizes of their non-zero entries as well as some new and interesting rela…
We consider the possibility of texture zeros in lepton mass matrices of the minimal left-right symmetric model (LRSM) where light neutrino mass arises from a combination of type I and type II seesaw mechanisms. Based on the allowed texture zeros in light neutrino mass matrix from neutrino and cosmology data, we make a list of all possible allowed and disallowed texture zeros in Dirac and heavy neutrino mass matrices which appear in type I and type II seesaw terms of LRSM. For the numerical analysis we consider those cases with maximum possible texture zeros in light neutrino mass matrix $M_ν$,…
The even weight modular forms of level $N$ can be arranged into the common irreducible representations of the inhomogeneous finite modular group $Γ_N$ and the homogeneous finite modular group $Γ'_N$ which is the double covering of $Γ_N$, and the odd weight modular forms of level $N$ transform in the new representations of $Γ'_N$. We find that the above structure of modular forms can naturally generate texture zeros of the fermion mass matrices if we properly assign the representations and weights of the matter fields under the modular group. We perform a comprehensive analysis for the $Γ'_3\co…
We analyze the different parametrizations of a general four-zero texture mass matrices for quarks and leptons, that are able to reproduce the CKM and PMNS mixing matrices. This study is done through a Chi-Square analysis. In quark sector, only four solutions are found to be compatible with CKM mixing matrix. In leptonic sector, using the last experimental results about the mixing angles in the neutrino sector, our Chi-Square analysis shows a preferred value for m_nu_3 to be around 0.05 eV independently of the parametrization of the four-zero texture mass matrices chosen for the charged leptons…
We investigate the lepton flavor violation in the framework of the MSSM with right-handed neutrinos taking the large mixing angle MSW solution in the quasi-degenerate and the inverse-hierarchical neutrino masses. We predict the branching ratio of $μ\to e+γ$ processes assuming the degenerate right-handed Majorana neutrino masses. We find that the branching ratio in the quasi-degenerate neutrino mass spectrum is 100 times smaller than the ones in the inverse-hierarchical and the hierarchical neutrino spectra. We emphasize that the magnitude of $U_{e3}$ is one of important ingredients to predict …
Texture matrices are a way of mitigating the redundancy inherent in the description of flavor physics via Yukawa couplings by eliminating some entries in order to identify relevant parameters. A four-zero texture scheme has been used in the literature to successfully describe fermion masses and mixing. However, as we show in this work, improving experimental constraints require an update to this analysis. In this paper the implications of a 2-zero texture mass matrix is studied for quarks and leptons. We show that the introduction of a new parameter in each mass matrix allow us to reach good r…
We consider a modification of the Fukuyama-Nishiura texture and compare it to the precision quark flavour data, finding that it fits the data very well but at the cost of accidental cancelations between parameters. We then propose different viable textures for quarks, where only the Cabibbo mixing arises from the down sector, and extend to the charged leptons while constructing a complementary neutrino structure that leads to viable lepton masses and mixing.
We construct a class of textured supergravity unified SU(5) models using Planck scale corrections. We show that the texture constraints in the Higgs doublet sector are insufficient in general to fully determine the textures in the Higgs triplet sector. A classification of textured minimal parameter models is given and their Higgs triplet textures computed under the constraint that they possess the Georgi-Jarlskog textures in the Higgs doublet sector. It is argued that additional dynamical assumptions are needed to remove the ambiguity. The recently proposed extension of supergravity unification…
We study the phenomenological implications of the presence of two texture zeros in the neutrino mass matrix assuming that the neutrino mixing matrix has its first column identical to that of the tribimaximal mixing matrix. Only two patterns of this kind are compatible with the experimental data. These textures have definite predictions for the neutrino observables that are testable in future neutrino experiments.
