Excitation functions were measured for production of the $^{113,111,110}$Sn, $^{115m,114m,113m,112m,111g,110g}$In and $^{111m,109}$Cd radioisotopes by bombardment of In targets with proton beams up to 70 MeV, some of them for the first time. The new results are compared with the earlier experimental data and with the theoretical data in the TENDL-2014 (Talys1.6 based) library. Thick target yields were deduced and application of the new data for production of medically relevant $^{110m}$In, $^{111g}$In, $^{113m}$In and $^{114m}$In, as well as applicability for thin layer activation (TLA) are discussed.
The energy range of our earlier measured activation cross-sections data of longer-lived products of deuteron induced nuclear reactions on indium were extended from 40 MeV up to 50 MeV. The traditional stacked foil irradiation technique and non-destructive gamma spectrometry were used. No experimental data were found in literature for this higher energy range. Experimental isomeric yield ratios for the 113In(γ,n)112m,gIn reactions on the betatron B25/30 bremsstrahlung gamma beam of energy range 12-25 MeV are measured. Effective cross-sections of (γ,n)-reactions with 112mIn and 114mIn isomers output are calculated. The Penfold-Leiss and Tikhonov methods are applied to solve the Volterra integral equation. The obtained experimental cross-sections are compared with theoretical calculations using the TALYS-1.6 code.

Excitation functions were measured for the natSr(d,x)88,87m,87g,86g,85gY, 87m,85g,83g,82Sr, 86g,84g,83,82m, 81gRb reactions by the stacked foil activation technique and high-resolution gamma-spectrometry up to 50 MeV. We present the first experimental activation cross section data for all investigated reactions. Our experimental data are compared with the TALYS code results as available in the TENDL-2015 on-line library. Use of deuteron induced reactions on Sr for production of medical isotopes is discussed.

The spallation-neutron yield was studied experimentally by bombarding a thick lead target with 400 MeV/u carbon beam. The data were obtained with the activation analysis method using foils of Au, Mn, Al, Fe and In. The yields of produced isotopes were deduced by analyzing the measured γ spectra of irradiated foils. According to the isotopes yields, the spatial and energy distributions of the neutron field were discussed. The experimental results were compared with Monte Carlo simulations performed by the GEANT4 + FLUKA code.

As a part of our series of studies on deuteron induced reaction on various target materials excitation functions on natural cobalt have been measured by using stacked-foil technique. In these measurements 51Cr, 55;56;57;58Co, 51Cr, 52;54;56Mn and 56;57Ni radioisotopes have been identified. For the above isotopes the excitation functions were determined and compared with the literature data and with the results of EMPIRE and TALYS calculations taken from the TENDL 2011 library. The agreement with previous measurements was acceptable and we could also determine new cross-section data.

A stacked-target of natural lanthanum foils (99.9119% $^{139}$La) was irradiated using a 60 MeV proton beam at the LBNL 88-Inch Cyclotron. $^{139}$La(p,x) cross sections are reported between 35-60 MeV for nine radionuclides. The primary motivation for this measurement was the need to quantify the production of $^{134}$Ce. As a positron-emitting analogue of the promising medical radionuclide $^{225}$Ac, $^{134}$Ce is desirable for in vivo applications of bio-distribution assays for this emerging radio-pharmaceutical. The production cross sections of $^{68,69}$Ge and $^{66,67}$Ga by α-induced reactions on $^{nat}$Zn have been measured using the stacked-foil activation method and off-line γ-ray spectrometry from their threshold energies to 50.7 MeV. The derived cross sections were compared with the previous experimental data and the calculated values in the TENLD-2017 library. Our result shows a slightly larger amplitude than the previous data at the peak, though the peak energy is consistent with them.

Spectral yield of p+Be neutrons emitted by thick (stopping) beryllium target bombarded by 16 MeV protons was estimated via extrapolation of literature data. The spectrum was validated via multi-foil activation method and irradiation of 2N2222 transistors. The hardness parameter (NIEL scaling factor) for displacement damage in bulk silicon was calculated and measured and kappa = 1.26 +- 0.1 was obtained.
