Dirichlet approximation and universal Dirichlet series

We characterize the uniform limits of Dirichlet polynomials on a right half plane. In the Dirichlet setting, we find approximation results, with respect to the Euclidean distance and {to} the chordal one as well, analogous to classical results of Runge, Mergelyan and Vitushkin. We also strengthen the notion of universal Dirichlet series.

On the boundary behaviour of the Hardy spaces of Dirichlet series and a frame bound estimate

A range of Hardy-like spaces of ordinary Dirichlet series, called the Dirichlet-Hardy spaces $\Hp^p$, $p \geq 1$, have been the focus of increasing interest among researchers following a paper of Hedenmalm, Lindqvist and Seip in Duke Math. Universal Taylor series, conformal mappings and boundary behaviour

A holomorphic function f on a simply connected domain Ω is said to possess a universal Taylor series about a point in Ω if the partial sums of that series approximate arbitrary polynomials on arbitrary compacta K outside Ω (provided only that K has connected complement). This paper shows that this property is not conformally invariant, and, in the case where Ω is the unit disc, that such functions have extreme angular boundary behaviour.

Joint universality on the half plane of absolute convergence

We prove joint universality theorems on the half plane of absolute convergence for general classes of Dirichlet series with an Euler-product, where in addition to vertical shifts we also allow scaling. This generalizes our recent joint universality results for Dirichlet $L$-functions. In contrast to classical universality, we do not need that the Dirichlet series in question have an analytic continuation beyond their region of absolute convergence. Universal Padé approximants and their behaviour on the boundary

There are several kinds of universal Taylor series. In one such kind the universal approximation is required at every boundary point of the domain of definition $\OO$ of the universal function $f$.
