We introduce three tunable parameters to optimize the fidelity of quantum teleportation with continuous-variable in nonideal scheme. Using the characteristic function formalism, we present the condition that the teleportation fidelity is independent of the amplitude of input coherent states for any entangled resource. Then we investigate the effects of tunable parameters on the fidelity with or without the presence of environment and imperfect measurements, by analytically deriving the expression of fidelity for three different input coherent state distributions. It is shown that, for the linear distribution, the optimization with three tunable parameters is the best one with respect to single- and two-parameter optimization. Our results reveal the usefulness of tunable parameters for improving the fidelity of teleportation and the ability against the decoherence.

Three-qubit mixed states are used as a channel for controlled quantum teleportation (CQT) of single-qubit states. The connection between different channel parameters to achieve maximum controlled teleportation fidelity is investigated. We show that for a given multipartite entanglement and mixedness, a class of non-maximally entangled mixed $X$ states ($X-$NMEMS) achieves optimum controlled quantum teleportation fidelity, interestingly a class of maximally entangled mixed $X$ states ($X-$MEMS) fails to do so. This demonstrates, for a given spectrum and mixedness, that $X-$MEMS are not sufficie…
We analyze the average fidelity (say, F) and the fidelity deviation (say, D) in noisy-channel quantum teleportation. Here, F represents how well teleportation is performed on average and D quantifies whether the teleportation is performed impartially on the given inputs, that is, the condition of universality. Our analysis results prove that the achievable maximum average fidelity ensures zero fidelity deviation, that is, perfect universality. This structural trait of teleportation is distinct from those of other limited-fidelity probabilistic quantum operations, for instance, universal-NOT or…
We analyze the performance of quantum teleportation in terms of average fidelity and fidelity deviation. The average fidelity is defined as the average value of the fidelities over all possible input states and the fidelity deviation is their standard deviation, which is referred to as a concept of fluctuation or universality. In the analysis, we find the condition to optimize both measures under a noisy quantum channel---we here consider the so-called Werner channel. To characterize our results, we introduce a two-dimensional space defined by the aforementioned measures, in which the performa…
To explore the properties of a two-qubit mixed state, we consider quantum teleportation. The fidelity of a teleported state depends on the resource state purity and entanglement, as characterized by concurrence. Concurrence and purity are functions of state parameters. However, it turns out that a state with larger purity and concurrence, may have comparatively smaller fidelity. By computing teleportation fidelity, concurrence and purity for two-qubit X-states, we show it explicitly. We further show that fidelity changes monotonically with respect to functions of parameters - other than concur…
It is well known that entanglement is the resource of quantum teleportation. Teleportation can be accomplished using classical correlation (CC) with a teleportation fidelity (TF) upto $2/3$. In the present work we have studied TF, entanglement and CC in the presence of decoherence. We have found that significant increment of CC with respect to the strength of decoherence can lead TF in the non-classical region while entanglement is decreasing. We have also studied the protection of TF and entanglement using the technique of weak measurement and reverse weak measurement (WMRWM). Here we found t…
Quantum teleportation establishes a correspondence between an entangled state shared by two separate par- ties that can communicate classically and the presence of a quantum channel connecting the two parties. The standard benchmark for quantum teleportation, based on the average fidelity between the input and output states, indicates that some entangled states do not lead to channels which can be certified to be quantum. It was re- cently shown that if one considers a finer-tuned witness, then all entangled states can be certified to produce a non-classical teleportation channel. Here we expe…
Performance of quantum teleportation is typically measured by the average fidelity, an overlap between the input and output states. Along with the first moment, we introduce the second moment of fidelity in CV teleportation, i.e., the fidelity deviation as the figures of merit to assess the protocol's efficiency. We show that CV states, both Gaussian and non Gaussian, can be better characterized by considering both average fidelity and fidelity deviation, which is not possible with only average fidelity. Moreover, we shed light on the performance of the teleportation protocol in two different …
Robust high-fidelity teleportation of an atomic state through the detection of cavity decay
提出了一种基于腔场衰减探测的原子态量子隐形传态方案。利用单光子探测器测量偏振光子的干涉,可以将囚禁在腔中的原子的内部态离散地转移到另一个囚禁在远处腔中的原子上。与S. Bose,P.L. Knight,M.B. Plenio,and V. Vedral [Phys. Rev. Lett. 83,5158(1999)],我们的隐形传态协议具有几乎统一的高保真度和固有的鲁棒性,例如保真度对原子位置的随机性和检测效率的不敏感性。所有这些有利的特性使得该方案在当前的实验技术下是可行的。

Quantum teleportation is one of the most pioneering features of the quantum world. Typically, the quality of a teleportation protocol is solely judged by its average fidelity. In this work, we analyze the performance of teleportation in terms of both fidelity and the deviation in fidelity. Specifically, we define a quantity called teleportability score, which incorporates contributions from both the fidelity and its deviation. It also takes into account the sensitivity one requires for a protocol in which the teleportation of a quantum state is required in one or many intermediate steps. We co…
Quantum teleportation with a two-qubit state can be suitably characterized in terms of maximal fidelity and fidelity deviation, where the former is the maximal value of the average fidelity achievable within the standard protocol and local unitary operations and the latter is the standard deviation of fidelity over all input states. In this paper, we consider the problem of characterizing two-qubit states that are optimal for quantum teleportation for a given value of some state property. The optimal states are defined as those states that, for a given value of the state property under conside…
Relations between entanglement, Bell-inequality violation and teleportation fidelity for the two-qubit X states
基于接收机Bob可以应用任何酉变换的假设,Horodecki { \it et al.} [Phys. Lett.
