We investigate the connection between sub-Planck structure in the Wigner function and the output fidelity of continuous-variable teleportation protocols. When the teleporting parties share a two-mode squeezed state as an entangled resource, high fidelity in the output state requires a squeezing large enough that the smallest sub-Planck structures in an input pure state are teleported faithfully. We formulate this relationship, which leads to an explicit relation between the fine-scale structure in the Wigner function and large-scale extent of the Wigner function, and we treat specific examples, including coherent, number, and random states and states produced by chaotic dynamics. We generalize the pure-state results to teleportation of mixed states.

We analyze the average fidelity (say, F) and the fidelity deviation (say, D) in noisy-channel quantum teleportation. Here, F represents how well teleportation is performed on average and D quantifies whether the teleportation is performed impartially on the given inputs, that is, the condition of universality. Our analysis results prove that the achievable maximum average fidelity ensures zero fidelity deviation, that is, perfect universality. This structural trait of teleportation is distinct from those of other limited-fidelity probabilistic quantum operations, for instance, universal-NOT or…
It is well known that entanglement is the resource of quantum teleportation. Teleportation can be accomplished using classical correlation (CC) with a teleportation fidelity (TF) upto $2/3$. In the present work we have studied TF, entanglement and CC in the presence of decoherence. We have found that significant increment of CC with respect to the strength of decoherence can lead TF in the non-classical region while entanglement is decreasing. We have also studied the protection of TF and entanglement using the technique of weak measurement and reverse weak measurement (WMRWM). Here we found t…
Performance of quantum teleportation is typically measured by the average fidelity, an overlap between the input and output states. Along with the first moment, we introduce the second moment of fidelity in CV teleportation, i.e., the fidelity deviation as the figures of merit to assess the protocol's efficiency. We show that CV states, both Gaussian and non Gaussian, can be better characterized by considering both average fidelity and fidelity deviation, which is not possible with only average fidelity. Moreover, we shed light on the performance of the teleportation protocol in two different …
Robust high-fidelity teleportation of an atomic state through the detection of cavity decay
提出了一种基于腔场衰减探测的原子态量子隐形传态方案。利用单光子探测器测量偏振光子的干涉,可以将囚禁在腔中的原子的内部态离散地转移到另一个囚禁在远处腔中的原子上。与S. Bose,P.L. Knight,M.B. Plenio,and V. Vedral [Phys. Rev. Lett. 83,5158(1999)],我们的隐形传态协议具有几乎统一的高保真度和固有的鲁棒性,例如保真度对原子位置的随机性和检测效率的不敏感性。所有这些有利的特性使得该方案在当前的实验技术下是可行的。

Quantum teleportation is one of the most pioneering features of the quantum world. Typically, the quality of a teleportation protocol is solely judged by its average fidelity. In this work, we analyze the performance of teleportation in terms of both fidelity and the deviation in fidelity. Specifically, we define a quantity called teleportability score, which incorporates contributions from both the fidelity and its deviation. It also takes into account the sensitivity one requires for a protocol in which the teleportation of a quantum state is required in one or many intermediate steps. We co…
Relations between entanglement, Bell-inequality violation and teleportation fidelity for the two-qubit X states
基于接收机Bob可以应用任何酉变换的假设,Horodecki { \it et al.} [Phys. Lett.
