Universal features of left-right entanglement entropy

We show the presence of universal features in the entanglement entropy of regularized boundary states for (1+1)-d conformal field theories on a circle when the reduced density matrix is obtained by tracing over right/left-moving modes. We derive a general formula for the left-right entanglement entropy in terms of the central charge and the modular S matrix of the theory. When the state is chosen to be an Ishibashi state, this measure of entanglement is shown to reproduce the spatial entanglement entropy of a (2+1)-d topological quantum field theory. We explicitly evaluate the left-right entanglement entropies for the Ising model, the tricritical Ising model and the su(2)_k WZW model as examples.

Entanglement of the Vacuum between Left, Right, Future, and Past: The Origin of Entanglement-Induced Quantum Radiation

The Minkowski vacuum state is expressed as an entangled state between the left and right Rindler wedges when it is constructed on the Rindler vacuum. Left-Right Entanglement Entropy of Boundary States

We study entanglement entropy of boundary states in a free bosonic conformal field theory. A boundary state can be thought of as composed of a particular combination of left and right-moving modes of the two-dimensional conformal field theory. We investigate the reduced density matrix obtained by tracing over the right-moving modes in various boundary states. We consider Dirichlet and Neumann boundary states of a free noncompact as well as a compact boson. Left-Right Entanglement Entropy, D-Branes, and Level-rank duality

We consider the left-right entanglement (LREE) entropy in 1+1 dimensions for WZW models on a circle, and for WZW models on untwisted and twisted D-branes. The consequences of level-rank duality for these applications is presented which provides a map of LREE from large to small central charge.

Left-Right Entanglement Entropy of Dp-branes

We compute the left-right entanglement entropy for Dp-branes in string theory. We employ the CFT approach to string theory Dp-branes, in particular, its presentation as coherent states of the closed string sector. Left-Right Entanglement Entropy for a Dp-brane with Dynamics and Background Fields

We investigate the left-right entanglement entropy of a boundary state, corresponding to a dynamical D$p$-brane with the internal and background fields. We assume that the brane has a tangential linear motion and a rotation, and is dressed with an internal $U(1)$ gauge potential and the Kalb-Ramond tensor field $B_{μν}$. We derive the entanglement entropy via the Rényi entropy by applying the replica trick. Our calculations will be in the context of the bosonic string theory.

Entanglement of the Vacuum between Left, Right, Future, and Past: Dirac spinor in Rindler spaces and Kasner spaces

We study the relations of the positive frequency mode functions of Dirac field in 4-dimensional Minkowski spacetime covered with Rindler and Kasner coordinates, and describe the explicit form of the Minkowski vacuum state with the quantum states in Kasner and Rindler regions, and analytically continue the solutions. As a result, we obtain the correspondence of the positive frequency mode functions in Kasner region and Rindler region in a unified manner which derives vacuum entanglement.

The magnetic deformation of the Ising Model, the thermal deformations of both the Tricritical Ising Model and the Tricritical Potts Model are governed by an algebraic structure based on the Dynkin diagram associated to the exceptional algebras $E_n$ (respectively for $n=8,7,6$). In this work we study new issues involving the type IIB superstring in a time dependent plane wave background with a constant self-dual Ramond-Ramond 5-form and a linear dilaton in the light-like direction.
