To validate the molecular description of the observed $Z_b(10610)/Z_b(10650)$ and $Z_c(3900)/Z_c(4025)$, it is valuable to investigate their counterparts, denoted as $Z_{QV}^{(\prime)}$ in this work, and the corresponding decay modes. In this work, we present an analysis of the $Z_{QV}^{(\prime)}$ using flavor symmetry. We also use the effective Lagrangian based on the heavy quark symmetry to explore the rescattering mechanism and calculate the partial widths for the isospin conserved channels $Z_{QV}^{(\prime)} \to η_Q V$. The predicted partial widths are of an order of MeV for $Z_{QV} \to η_Q V$, which correspond to branching ratios of the order of $10^{-2}\sim 10^{-1}$. For $Z_{QV}^\prime \to η_Q V$, the partial widths are a few hundreds of keV and the branching ratios are about $10^{-3}$. Future experimental measurements can test our predictions on the partial widths and thus examine the molecule description of heavy quarkoniumlike exotic states.
In two recent papers, we used the hadro-quarkonium model to study the properties of hidden-charm and bottom tetraquarks and pentaquarks. Here, we extend the previous results and calculate the masses of heavy-quarkonium-kaon/hyperon systems. We also compute the spectrum of hidden-charm and bottom tetraquarks with strangeness in the compact tetraquark (diquark-antidiquark) model. If heavy-light exotic systems with non-null strangeness content were to be observed experimentally, it might be possible to distinguish among the large variety of available theoretical pictures for tetra- and pentaquark…
We study baryo-charmonium [$η_{\rm c}$- and $J/ψ$-$N^*$, $η_{\rm c}(2S)$-, $ψ(2S)$- and $χ_{\rm c}(1P)$-$N$] and baryo-bottomonium [$η_{\rm b}(2S)$-, $Υ(2S)$- and $χ_{\rm b}(1P)$-$N$] bound states, where $N$ is the nucleon and $N^*$ a nucleon resonance. In the baryo-quarkonium model, the five $qqq Q \bar Q$ quarks are arranged in terms of a heavy quarkonium core, $Q \bar Q$, embedded in light baryonic matter, $qqq$, with $q = u$ or $d$. The interaction between the $Q \bar Q$ core and the light baryon can be written in terms of the QCD multipole expansion. The spectrum of baryo-charmonium state…
In this article, we investigate the mass spectrum of the ground state hidden-charm tetraquark molecular states without strange, with strange and with hidden-strange via the QCD sum rules in a comprehensive way and revisit the assignments of the $X$, $Y$, $Z$ states in the scenario of tetraquark molecular states consistently based on the QCD sum rules.
In our former work [arXiv:2011.07214], the $P_{cs}(4459)$ observed by the LHCb Collaboration can be explained as a coupled strange hidden-charm $Ξ_c\bar{D}^*/Ξ_c^*\bar{D}/Ξ_c'\bar{D}^*/Ξ_c^*\bar{D}^*$ molecule with $I(J^P)=0(3/2^-)$. Here, we further discuss the two-body strong decay behaviors of the $P_{cs}(4459)$ in the meson-baryon molecular scenario by input the former obtained bound solutions. Our results support the $P_{cs}(4459)$ as the strange hidden-charm $Ξ_c\bar{D}^*$ molecule with $I(J^P)=0(3/2^-)$. The relative decay ratio between $Λ_cD_s^*$ and $J/ψΛ$ is around 10, where the part…
Very recently, the LHCb Collaboration at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN observed new resonance $X(4630)$. The $X(4630)$ is decoded as a charmoniumlike molecule with hidden-strange quantum number well in the one boson exchange mechanism. Especially, the study of its hidden-charmed decays explicitly shows the dominant role of $J/ψϕ$ among all allowed hidden-charmed decays of $X(4630)$, which enforces the conclusion of $X(4630)$ as a charmoniumlike molecule. The discovery of the $X(4630)$ is a crucial step of constructing charmoniumlike molecule zoo.
Inspired by the recent observation of a new structure, $X(4014)$, in the process $γγ\to γψ(2S)$, we evaluate the possibility of assigning $X(4014)$ as a $D^\ast \bar{D}^\ast$ molecular state with $I(J^{PC})=0(0^{++})$ by investigating the hidden charm decays of $X(4014)$. The partial widths of $J/ψω$, $ η_{c}η$ and $η_{c}η^{\prime}$ channels are evaluated to be about $(0.41\sim 5.00)$, $(2.05\sim7.49)$ and $(0.11\sim0.51)\ \mathrm{MeV}$, respectively. Considering the experimental observation and the present estimations, we proposed to search $X(4014)$ in the $γγ\to J/ψω$ process in Belle II.
The discovery of hadronic states beyond the conventional two-quark meson and three-quark baryon picture in the last two decades is one of the most amazing accomplishments in fundamental physics research. Many experiments contributed to this field despite of the original goals of the design. We review the experimental progress on the study of the quarkoniumlike states -- states with at least one heavy quark-antiquark pair and possible light quarks, also known as XYZ states. We give a general review and then focus on the new experimental results on the X(3872) and its bottom-quark partner X_b, t…
I give a brief account of current topics in description of exotic multiquark mesonic resonances with hidden heavy ($c$ or $b$) flavor, the so-called XYZ states, in terms of hadronic molecules and hadro-quarkonium systems. Also discussed are the recently observed hidden-charm pentaquarks including additional ways of producing them in experiments.
强子-夸克偶素图象[S. Dubinskiy和M.B. Voloshin,Phys. Lett.
It is pointed out that the previously suggested interpretation of the hidden-charm pentaquarks $P_c(4312)$, $P_c(4440)$ and $P_c(4457)$ as molecular bound states of $Σ_c \bar D$ and $Σ_c \bar D^*$ baryon-meson pairs gives rise to specific relations for their decays. In particular, the heavy quark spin symmetry predicts ratios of rates of decays of each of the molecules to $J/ψp$ and to $η_c p$ as well as of the decays to $Λ_c \bar D$ and to $Λ_c \bar D^*$. Experimental studies of these relations would thus provide an indicative probe of the molecular structure.
The recent abundant observations of pentaquarks and tetraquarks by high-energy accelerator facilities indicate the realization of the conjecture by Gell-Mann and Zweig, and by De Rujula, Georgi and Glashow [1-3]. We construct a coupled-channel model for the hidden-charm pentaquarks with strangeness whose quark content is $udsc \bar c$, $P_{cs}$, described as $ Λ_c \bar{D}_s^{(*)}, Ξ_c^{('*)} \bar{D}^{(*)}$ molecules coupled to the five-quark states. These molecules are formed by the suitable cooperation of heavy quark and chiral symmetries. We reproduce the experimental mass and quantum number…
The pentaquark states, $P_{c}(4312)$, $P_{c}(4440)$ and $P_{c}(4457)$, could be nicely arranged into a multiplet of seven molecules of $\bar{D}^{(\ast)}Σ_{c}^{(\ast)}$ dictated by heavy quark spin symmetry. However, the spins of $P_c(4440)$ and $P_c(4457)$ are not yet fully determined. In this work we employ the contact-range effective field theory to investigate the $SU(3)$-flavor counterparts of $\bar{D}^{(\ast)}Σ_{c}^{(\ast)}$, and study the possibility whether their discovery can help determine the spins of $P_c(4457)$ and $P_c(4440)$. We find the existence of a complete hidden charm stran…
The semi-inclusive electroproduction of exotic hadrons, including the $T_{cc}$, $P_{cs}$, and hidden-charm baryon-antibaryon states, is explored under the assumption that they are $S$-wave hadronic molecules of a pair of charmed hadrons. We employ the Monte Carlo event generator Pythia to produce the hadron pairs and then bind them together to form hadronic molecules. With the use of such a production mechanism, the semi-inclusive electroproduction rates are estimated at the order-of-magnitude level. Our results indicate that a larger number of $P_{cs}$ states and $Λ_c\barΛ_c$ molecules can be…
Employing the relativized quark model and the quark-interchange model, we investigate the decay of the charged heavy quarkonium-like states $Z_c(3900)$, $Z_c(4020)$, $Z_c(4430)$, $Z_b(10610)$ and $Z_b(10650)$ into the ground and radially excited heavy quarkonia via emitting a pion meson. The $Z_c$ and $Z_b$ states are assumed to be hadronic molecules composed of open-flavor heavy mesons. The calculated decay ratios can be compared with the experimental data, which are useful in judging whether the molecule state assignment for the corresponding $Z_c$ or $Z_b$ state is reasonable or not. The th…
The three pentaquark states, $P_c(4312)$, $P_c(4440)$ and $P_c(4457)$, discovered by the LHCb Collaboration in 2019, are widely recognized as $\bar{D}^{(\ast)}Σ_{c}$ hadronic molecules. Together with their four $\bar{D}^{(*)}Σ_{c}^{\ast}$ partners dictated by heavy quark spin symmetry they present a complete multiplet of hadronic molecules of $\bar{D}^{(\ast)}Σ_{c}^{(\ast)}$. It is widely recognized that to understand their nature, other discovery channels play an important role. In this work, we investigate two three-body decay modes of the $\bar{D}^{(\ast)}Σ_{c}^{(\ast)}$ molecules. The tree…
Motivated by the LHCb-group discovery of exotic hadrons in the range (6.2 $\sim$ 6.9) GeV, we present new results for the masses and couplings of $0^{++}$ fully heavy $(\bar{Q}Q)(Q\bar{Q})$ molecules and $(QQ)(\overline{QQ})$ tetraquaks states from relativistic QCD Laplace Sum Rule (LSR) within stability criteria where Next-to-Leading Order (NLO) Factorized (F) Perturbative (PT) corrections is included. As the Operator Product Expansion (OPE) usually converges for $d\leqslant 6-8$, we evaluated the QCD spectral functions at Lowest Order (LO) of PT QCD and up to $\langle G^3 \rangle$. We also e…
We evaluate ratios of the $χ_{c1}$ decay rates to $η$ ($η', K^-$) and one of the $f_0(1370)$, $f_0(1710)$, $f_2(1270)$, $f_2'(1525)$, $K^{*}_2(1430)$ resonances, which in the local hidden gauge approach are dynamically generated from the vector-vector interaction. With the simple assumption that the $χ_{c1}$ is a singlet of SU(3), and the input from the study of these resonances as vector-vector molecular states, we describe the experimental ratio $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c1} \rightarrow ηf_2(1270))/ \mathcal{B}(χ_{c1} \rightarrow η' f_2'(1525))$ and make predictions for six more ratios that can be tes…
The molecular assignments to the three $P_c$ states and the similar production mechanism between the $Λ_b\to P_c+K$ and $B\to XYZ+K$ convince us the $B$ decaying to a charmonium state plus light mesons could be the appropriate production process to search for the charmoniumlike molecular tetraquarks. In this work, we systematically study the interactions between a charmed (charmed-strange) meson and an anti-charmed (anti-charm-strange) meson, which include the $D^{(*)}\bar{D}^{(*)}$, $\bar{D}^{(*)}\bar{D}_1$, $D^{(*)}\bar{D}_2^*$, $D_s^{(*)}\bar{D}_s^{(*)}$, ${D}_s^{(*)}\bar{D}_{s0}^*$, $D_s^{…
We investigate the possibility of studying the strange hidden-charm pentaquark state $P_{cs}(4459)$ by photon-induced reactions on a proton target in an effective Lagrangian approach. The production process is described by the $t$-channel $K^{-}$ exchange, the $u$-channel $Λ$ exchange, the contract term, and the $s$- channel nucleon pole. Our theoretical approach is based on the assumption that $P_{cs}(4459)$ with $J^{P}=1/2^{-}$ or $J^{P}=3/2^{-}$ can be interpreted as a molecule composed of $\bar{D}^{*}Ξ_c$. Using the coupling constants of the $P^{J^P}_{cs}$ to $γΛ$ and $K^{-}p$ channels obt…
While our visible Universe could be a 3-brane, some cosmological scenarios consider that other 3-branes could be hidden in the extra-dimensional bulk. Matter disappearance toward a hidden brane is mainly discussed for neutron - both theoretically and experimentally - but other particles are poorly studied. Recent experimental results offer new constraints on positronium or quarkonium invisible decays. In the present work, we show how a two-brane Universe allows for such invisible decays. We put this result in the context of the recent experimental data to constrain the brane energy scale $M_B$…
We investigate hidden-charm molecular states in $Ξ_c^{(\prime,*)}\bar{D}^{(*)}$ systems using the one-boson exchange model. By regulating the short-range interactions with parameter $a$ and cutoff $Λ$, we found ten bound states in isoscalar systems. Our analysis reveals that if the LHCb Collaboration's $P_{cs}(4459)$ and Belle Collaboration's $P_{cs}(4472)$ pentaqurks are indeed distinct states, their mass splitting can be resolved through $Ξ_c^{\prime}\bar{D}$-$Ξ_c\bar{D}^*$ coupled channel dynamics using consistent model parameters. This framework assigns $3/2^-$ and $1/2^-$ spin-parity quan…
In this work, we systematically investigate the heavy-strange meson systems, $D^{(*)}K^{(*)}/\bar{B}^{(*)}K^{(*)}$ and $\bar{D}^{(*)}K^{(*)}/B^{(*)}K^{(*)}$, to study possible molecules in a quasipotenial Bethe-Salpter equation approach together with the one-boson exchange model. The potential is achieved with the help of the hidden-gauge Lagrangians. Molecular states are found from all six $S$-wave isoscalar interactions of $D^{(*)}K^{(*)}$ or $\bar{B}^{(*)}K^{(*)}$. The charmed-strange mesons $D^*_{s0}(2317)$ and $D_{s1}(2460)$ can be related to the ${D}K$ and $D^*K$ states with spin paritie…
