We investigate the kaons production at finite temperature and baryon density by means of an effective relativistic mean-field model with the inclusion of the full octet of baryons. Kaons are considered taking into account of an effective chemical potential depending on the self-consistent interaction between baryons. The obtained results are compared with a minimal coupling scheme, calculated for different values of the anti-kaon optical potential.
We formulate kaon condensation in dense baryonic matter with anti-kaons fluctuating from the Fermi-liquid fixed point. This entails that in the Wilsonian RG approach, the decimation is effectuated in the baryonic sector to the Fermi surface while in the meson sector to the origin. In writing the kaon-baryon (KN) coupling, we will take a generalized hidden local symmetry Lagrangian for the meson sector endowed with a "mended symmetry" that has the unbroken symmetry limit at high density in which the Goldstone $π$, scalar $s$, and vectors $ρ$ (and $ω$) and $a_1$ become massless. The vector meson…
Possibility of kaon-condensed phase in hyperon-mixed matter is considered on the basis of chiral symmetry for kaon-baryon and kaon-kaon interactions, being combined with the relativistic mean-field theory for two-body baryon interaction. In addition, universal three-baryon repulsive force in the string-junction model and phenomenological three-nucleon attractive force are introduced. It is shown that softening of the equation of state stemming from both kaon condensation and mixing of hyperons is compensated with the repulsive effect of the three-baryon force and the relativistic effect for tw…
Resonance model study of kaon production in baryon baryon reactions for heavy ion collisions
Possible coexistence of kaon condensation and hyperons in highly dense matter [the ($Y+K$) phase] is investigated on the basis of the relativistic mean-field theory combined with the effective chiral Lagrangian. Two coupling schemes for the $s$-wave kaon-baryon interaction are compared regarding the onset density of kaon condensation in the hyperon-mixed matter and equation of state for the developed ($Y+K$) phase: One is the contact interaction scheme related to the nonlinear effective chiral Lagrangian. The other is the meson-exchange scheme, where the interaction vertices between the kaon f…

On the flow of kaons produced in relativistic heavy ion collisions
We apply a coupled-channel formalism incorporating quasi-bound quark-model states to calculate pion scattering into eta N, K Lambda and K Sigma channels, as well eta p, eta n, K+Lambda, and K0Sigma+ photo-production processes. The meson-baryon and photon-baryon vertices are determined in a SU(3) version of the Cloudy Bag Model. Our model predicts sizable amplitudes in the P11, P13, P33 and S11 partial waves in agreement with the latest MAID isobar model and the recent partial-wave analyses of the Bonn-Gatchina group. We are able to give a quark-model explanation for the apparent resonance at 1…
As the experimental data from kaonic atoms and $K^{-}N$ scatterings imply that the $K^{-}$-nucleon interaction is strongly attractive at saturation density, there is a possibility to form $K^{-}$-nuclear bound states or kaonic nuclei. In this work, we investigate the ground-state properties of the light kaonic nuclei with the relativistic mean field theory. It is found that the strong attraction between $K^{-}$ and nucleons reshapes the scalar and vector meson fields, leading to the remarkable enhancement of the nuclear density in the interior of light kaonic nuclei and the manifest shift of t…
We calculate the T-matrices of kaon-nucleon ($KN$) and antikaon-nucleon ($\overline{K}N$) scattering to one-loop order in SU(3) heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory (HB$χ$PT). The low-energy constants (LECs) and their combinations are then determined by fitting the phase shifts of $KN$ scattering and the corresponding data. This leads to a good description of the phase shifts below 200 MeV kaon laboratory momentum. We obtain the LEC uncertainties through statistical regression analysis. We also determine the LECs through the use of scattering lengths in order to check the consistency of the…
We investigate the possibility to study the charmed baryon $Λ_c(2940)$ by kaon-induced reaction on a proton target. By assuming the $Λ_c(2940)$ as a $pD^{*0}$ molecular state with spin-parity $J^{p}=1/2^{\pm}$, an effective Lagrangian approach was adopted to calculate the cross section, the $D^0p$ invariant mass spectrum and Dalitz plot of the $Λ(2940)$ production. The total cross section of the $K^{-}p\toΛ_c(2940)D_s^{-}$ reaction is found at an order of magnitude about 10 $μ$b. By considering the sub sequential decay $Λ_c(2940)\to{}D^0p$ with contributions from the $Λ_c(2286)$ and the $Σ_c(2…
The particle production of Kaon and $Λ$ are studied in nucleus-nucleus collisions at relativistic energy based on a chemical equilibrium blast-wave model. The transverse momentum spectra of Kaon and $Λ$ at the kinetic freeze-out stage from our model are in good agreement with the experimental results. The kinetic freeze-out parameters of temperature ($T_{kin}$) and radial flow parameter $ρ_{0}$ are presented for the FOPI, RHIC and LHC energies. And the resonance decay effect is also discussed. The systematic study for beam energy dependence of the strangeness particle production will help us t…
