A detailed simulation study is performed for multi-tau-lepton signatures at the Large Hadron Collider, which can be used to probe additional Higgs bosons with lepton-specific Yukawa interactions. Such an extended Higgs sector is introduced in some of new physics models at the TeV scale. We here consider the two Higgs doublet model with the Type-X Yukawa interaction, where nonstandard Higgs bosons predominantly decay into tau leptons. These extra Higgs bosons can be pair produced via s-channel gauge boson mediation at hadron colliders; q \bar q \to Z \to HA and q \bar q' \to W^\pm \to HH^\pm (AH^\pm), where H, A and H^\pm are CP-even, odd and charged Higgs bosons, respectively. Consequently, multi-tau-lepton originated signals appear in the final state as a promising signature of such a model. We find that the main background can be considerably reduced by requiring the high multiplicity of leptons and tau-jets with appropriate kinematical cuts in the final state. Thus, assuming the integrated luminosity of a hundred of inverse fb, the excess can be seen in various three- and four-lepton channels. With the integrated luminosity of thousands of inverse fb, the determination of the mass as well as ratios of leptonic decay branching ratios of these Higgs bosons would also be possible.
The decay width, forward-backward asymmetry and tau lepton longitudinal and transversal polarization for the exclusive (B -> K tau^+ tau^-) decay in a two Higgs doublet model are computed. It is shown that the forward-backward asymmetry and longitudinal polarization of the tau lepton are very effective tools for establishing new physics.
The most general model independent expressions for the CP-violating asymmetry, longitudinal, transversal and normal polarizations of leptons are derived. Application of these general results to the concrete models such as Standard model and three different types of two Higgs doublet model is discussed.
The leptonic branching fractions of the tau lepton are sensitive to anomalous charged current interactions. We use recent experimental measurements to determine the weak charged current magnetic and electric dipole moments and the Michel parameter $η$ with unprecedented precision. These results are then used to constrain the tau compositeness scale and the allowed parameter space for Higgs doublet models.
We study the implications of the searches based on H -> tau^+ tau^- by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations on the parameter space of the two Higgs doublet model (2HDM). In the 2HDM, the scalars can decay into a tau pair with a branching ratio larger than the SM one, leading to constraints on the 2HDM parameter space. We have also discussed the implications for the 2HDM of the recent di-muon search by the ATLAS collaboration for a CP-odd scalar in the mass range 4-12 GeV.
We study the phenomenology of the mu-tau and e-tau lepton flavour violation (LFV) in a general two Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM) including the supersymmetric case. We consider several LFV decay modes of the charged fermion tau, namely tau-> l_jgamma, tau->l_j l_k l_k and tau-> l_jeta. The predictions and the correlations among the rates of the above processes are computed. In particular, it is shown that tau->l_jgamma processes are the most sensitive channels to Higgs-mediated LFV specially if the splitting among the neutral Higgs bosons masses is not below the 10% level.
We study the lepton electric dipole moments in the split fermion scenario, in the two Higgs doublet model, where the new Higgs scalars are localized around the origin in the extra dimension, with the help of the localizer field. We observe that the numerical value of the electron (muon, tau) electric dipole moment is at the order of the magnitude of 10^{-31} (10^{-24}, 10^{-22}) (e-cm) and this quantity is sensitive the new Higgs localization in the extra dimension.
We study the feasibility of the Type-X two Higgs doublet model (THDM-X) at collider experiments. In the THDM-X, new Higgs bosons mostly decay into tau leptons in the wide range of the parameter space. Such scalar bosons are less constrained by current experimental data, because of the suppressed quark Yukawa interactions. We discuss a search strategy of the THDM-X with multi-tau lepton final states at International linear collider and Large Hadron Collider. By using the collinear approximation, we show that a four tau lepton signature (e^+e^- -> HA -> 4τ) can be a clean signal.
Recent experimental results on exclusive semi-tauonic B meson decays show sizable deviations from the standard model prediction, while the recent result on pure-tauonic decay reduces the deviation from the prediction. These results suggest an indirect evidence of new physics in which the structure of the relevant weak charged interaction may differ from that of the standard model. We study these tauonic B decays in the context of extensions of the Higgs sector. As a result, we find that two Higgs doublet models without tree-level FCNC are unlikely to explain the present experimental data while…
We study the radiative lepton flavor violating l_1->l_2γdecays in the two Higgs doublet model with localized new Higgs doublet in the Randall Sundrum background. We estimate the contributions of the KK modes of new Higgs bosons and left (right) handed charged lepton doublets (singlets) on the branching ratios of the decays considered. We observe that there is an enhancement in the branching ratios with the addition of new Higgs boson and lepton KK modes.
We studied the signatures at the LHC of the electroweak SU(2) lepton doublet which embeds a doubly charged lepton. The doubly charged lepton pair and single production rates, which are different from the triplet case, are studied and all the detectable decay modes are considered. We also applied the same kinematic cuts as in triplet case to reduce the background at LHC and the needed integrated luminosities to find the doubly charged leptons with different masses are analyzed. We also suggested a method to distinguish the exotic lepton doublet and triplet.
Constraints on the whole spectrum of lepton flavor violating vertices are shown in the context of the standard two Higgs doublet model. The vertex involving the $e-τ$ mixing is much more constrained than the others, and the decays proportional to such vertex are usually very suppressed.
We study the effects induced by excited leptons on the leptonic tau decay at one loop level. Using a general effective lagrangian approach to describe the couplings of the excited leptons, we compute their contributions to the leptonic decays and use the current experimental values of the branching ratios to put limits on the mass of excited states and the substructure scale.
In the simplest examples of models with a discrete quark-lepton symmetry, an electroweak symmetry breaking sector with more than one Higgs doublet is necessary to obtain the correct mass relations between quarks and leptons. A two Higgs doublet model has flavour-nonconserving Yukawa couplings, which are proportional to the masses of the quark-lepton symmetric partners of the fermions. We describe how flavour changing leptonic decays can occur, with branching ratios not far beyond that currently measureable, enabling investigation of the phenomenology of such models.
We consider the two Higgs doublet model (2HDM) along with a generation of vector-like lepton doublet and singlet to explain the observed discrepancies in the electron and muon anomalous magnetic moments. The type-X (lepton-specific) 2HDM can allow a light pseudo-scalar which is known to explain the muon anomalous magnetic moment at two-loop. Such a light particle induces a sizable negative contribution to the electron anomalous magnetic moment at one-loop in the presence of vector-like leptons evading all the experimental constraints.
We calculate the new physics effects to the branching ratios of the lepton flavor conserving decays Z -> l^+ l^- in the framework of the general two Higgs Doublet model. We predict the upper limits for the couplings |\barξ^{D}_{N,μτ}| and |\barξ^{D}_{N,ττ}| as 3\times 10^2 GeV and 1\times 10^2 GeV, respectively.
We study the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating processes μ-> e γ, τ-> e γand τ-> μγin the split fermion scenario, in the framework of the two Higgs doublet model. We observe that the branching ratios are relatively more sensitive to the compactification scale and the Gaussian widths of the leptons in the extra dimensions, for two extra dimensions and especially for the τ-> μγdecay.
We calculate the electric dipole moment of electron using the experimental result of muon electric dipole moment and upper limit of the BR(μ--> eγ) in the framework of the general two Higgs doublet model. Our prediction is 10^{-32} e-cm, which lies in the experimental current limits. Further, we obtain constraints for the Yukawa couplings \barξ^{D}_{N,τe} and \barξ^{D}_{N,τμ}. Finally we present an expression which connects the BR(τ\to μγ) and the electric dipole moment of τ-lepton and study the relation between these physical quantities.
We predict the charged lepton electric dipole moments in the split fermion scenario in the framework of the two Higgs doublet model. We observe that the numerical value of the muon (tau) electric dipole moment is at the order of the magnitude of $10^{-22} (e-cm)$ ($10^{-20} (e-cm)$) and there is an enhancement in the case of two extra dimensions, especially for the tau lepton electric dipole moment.
The implementation of maximally restrictive texture zeros in the leptonic sector is investigated in the context of two-Higgs-doublet models with Majorana neutrinos. After analyzing all maximally restrictive pairs of leptonic mass matrices with zero entries, we conclude that there are only four texture combinations that are compatible with observations at 3 sigma confidence level and can be implemented through Abelian symmetries in a two-Higgs-doublet model. The compatibility of these textures with current constraints on lepton-flavor-violating processes is also studied. The ultraviolet complet…
We evaluate the compositeness effects of tau lepton on the vertex W-tau-nu(tau) in the context of an effective Lagrangian approach. We consider that only the third family is composed and we get the corrections to the non universal lepton coupling g_(tau)/g_(e). As the experimental bounds on non universal lepton couplings in W decays are weak, we find that the excited particles contributions do not give realistic limits on the excited mass, since they lead to Lambda<m*.
We investigate the radiative generation of lepton masses and mixing angles in the Standard Model extended by one right-handed neutrino and one extra Higgs doublet. We assume approximate rank-1 Yukawa couplings at a high energy scale and we calculate the one loop corrected charged lepton and neutrino mass matrices at the low energy scale. We find that quantum effects generate, for typical high energy parameters, a hierarchy between the muon and the tau mass, a hierarchy between the solar and the atmospheric mass splittings, and a pattern of leptonic mixing angles in qualitative agreement with e…
Now the bounds on the lepton-flavor violating (LFV) decay modes of tau lepton are being improved by the Belle experiment in the KEK B factory. In this paper the LFV decay of tau lepton is discussed in the supersymmetric seesaw model, using the current neutrino oscillation data.
We discuss how charged-lepton masses can be induced in multi-Higgs doublet models (NHDMs) through renormalization group running of Yukawa couplings. Examples of electron and muon mass generation are presented within scenarios with two- and three-Higgs-doublet models. We also show that quantum corrections to the Yukawa couplings can be naturally of the same order as the tree-level values. The impact of such corrections in NHDMs with right-handed neutrinos is briefly commented.
There exist about $3.7σ$ positive and $2.4σ$ negative deviations in the muon and electron anomalous magnetic moments ($g-2$). Also, some ratios for lepton universality in $τ$ decays have almost $2σ$ deviations from the Standard Model. In this paper, we propose a lepton-specific inert two-Higgs-doublet model. After imposing all the relevant theoretical and experimental constraints, we show that these lepton anomalies can be explained simultaneously in many parameter spaces with $m_H > 200$ GeV and $m_A~(m_{H^\pm})> 500$ GeV for appropriate Yukawa couplings between leptons and inert Higgs. The k…
We study the effect of non-universal extra dimensions on the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating processes μ\to eγand τ\to μγin the general two Higgs doublet model. We observe that these effects are small for a single extra dimension, however, in the case of two extra dimensions there is a considerable enhancement in the additional contributions.
We study the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating processes μ-> eγ, τ-> eγand τ-> μγin the split fermion scenario, with the assumption that the new Higgs doublet is restricted to the 4D brane (thin bulk) in one and two extra dimensions, in the framework of the two Higgs doublet model. We observe that the branching ratios are sensitive to the location of the 4D brane and, in the second case, the width of the thin bulk, especially for the μ-> eγdecay.
In the first part of this thesis, we consider an extension to the Standard Model composed by a Massive Vector Doublet under SU(2)L and a Left-handed Heavy Neutral Lepton. We study the production of these exotic leptons with a Same Flavor Opposite Sign standard lepton pair, and jets. We establish limits on the parameter space considering previous searches in this final state. After the limit definition, we study a modification on the event selection criteria in order to increase the possibility of probing these new particles at the Large Hadron Collider. Finally, we perform a parameter scan con…
We show that charged-lepton masses can be radiatively induced in multi-Higgs doublet models (NHDMs) through the renormalization group running of Yukawa couplings from high to low energies. Some extreme examples of electron and muon mass generation are discussed in the context of two and three Higgs doublet models. It is also shown that quantum corrections to the Yukawa couplings can be naturally of the same order as the tree-level values. We also comment on the implications of considering extensions of NHDMs in which right-handed neutrinos are added.
The radiative leptonic $B_{c}\toτ\bar{ν_τ}γ$ decay is analysed in context of 2HDM. It is shown that with large values of $tanβ$, the contributions of Model II to the decay rate exceeds considerably the Standard Model ones, while the contributions of Model I overlap with the Standard Model predictions.
Lepton flavor violation in tau and mu processes is studied in the littlest Higgs model with T-parity. We consider various asymmetries defined in polarized tau and mu decays. Correlations among branching ratios and asymmetries are shown in the following lepton flavor violation processes: mu+ --> e+ gamma, mu+ --> e+ e+ e-, mu- A --> e- A (A = Al, Ti, Au and Pb), tau+ --> mu+ gamma, tau+ --> mu+ mu+ mu-, tau+ --> mu+ e+ e-, tau+ --> mu+ P (P = pi0, eta and eta'), tau+ --> mu+ V (V = rho0, omega and phi), tau+ --> e+ gamma, tau+ --> e+ e+ e-, tau+ --> e+ mu+ mu-, tau+ --> e+ P, tau+ --> e+ V, tau…
As of version 8.150 of Pythia, the isotropic decay model of tau-leptons has been replaced with sophisticated tau-lepton decay machinery. The decays and spin correlations for tau-leptons in Pythia 8 are described, including the spin correlation algorithm, the available tau-lepton production processes, the tau-lepton decay models, the user interface, and the implementation.
The type X (lepton-specific) two-Higgs-doublet model at large $\tanβ$ becomes leptophilic and thus allows a light pseudoscalar $A$ accommodating the observed muon $g-2$ deviation without conflicting with various hadronic constraints. On the other hand, it is strongly constrained by leptonic precision observables such as lepton universality test in the neutral and charged currents. Treating all the lepton universality data in a consistent way, we show how the current data constrain the parameter space of $m_A$ and $\tanβ$ for given degenerate masses of heavy Higgs bosons $H$ and $H^\pm$. While …
We calculate lepton flavor violating Z -> l^+ l^- decay in the framework of the general two Higgs Doublet model. In our calculations we used the constraints for the Yukawa couplings \barξ^{D}_{N,τe} and \barξ^{D}_{N,τμ} coming from the experimental result of muon electric dipole moment and upper limit of the BR(μ-> eγ). We observe that it is possible to reach the present experimental upper limits for the branching ratios of such Z decays in the model III.
Combining the multi-lepton searches at the LHC, we study the possibilities of accommodating the new data of muon and electron $g-2$ anomalies in the lepton-specific inert two-Higgs-doublet model. We take the heavy CP-even Higgs as the 125 GeV Higgs, and find the muon and electron $g-2$ anomalies can be explained simultaneously in the region of 5 GeV $< m_h<60$ GeV, 200 GeV $<m_A< 620$ GeV, 190 GeV $<m_{H^\pm}< 620$ GeV for appropriate Yukawa couplings between leptons and inert Higgs. Meanwhile, the model can give a better fit to the data of lepton universality in $τ$ decays than the SM. Furthe…
The status of the Monte Carlo programs for the simulation of the $τ$ lepton production in high energy accelerator experiments and decay is reviewed. In particular, the status of the following packages is discussed: (i) TAUOLA for tau-lepton decay, (ii) PHOTOS for radiative corrections in decays, (iii) KORALB, KORALZ, KKMC packages for tau-pair production in e+e- collisions and (iv) universal interface of TAUOLA for the decay of tau-leptons produced by``any'' generator. Special emphasis on requirements from new and future experiments is given. Some considerations about the software organization…
TAUOLA is a Monte Carlo generator dedicated to generating tau-lepton decays and it is used in the analysis of experimental data both at B-factories and LHC. TAUOLA is a long-term project that started in the 90's and has been under development up to now. In this note we discuss the status of the predominant hadronic tau-lepton decays into two ($Br \simeq 25.52\%$) and three pions ($Br \simeq 18.67\%$).
We analyze the flavor changing decay $h\rightarrow μτ$ in the framework of a Two Higgs Doublet Model with a fourth generation of fermions (4G2HDM) which couples only to the heavy scalar doublet. We obtain that the respective branching ratio at one-loop level can reach values as high as $ 10^{-4}-10^{-6} $ for masses of $ 300 $ GeV to $ 1 $ TeV for the heavy leptons in the fourth family and the new heavy Higgs bosons. These radiative corrections are of the same order of magnitude as the tree level prediction of the 4G2HDM.
It is well known that a Weinberg dimension-5 operator for small neutrino masses can be realized at tree level in three types of renormalizable models: (i) the type-I seesaw mediated by fermion singlets, (ii) the type-II seesaw mediated by Higgs triplets, (iii) the type-III seesaw mediated by fermion triplets. We here point out such operator can be also induced at tree level by vector-like lepton doublets in association with unusual fermion singlets, Higgs triplets or fermion triplets. If these unusual fermion singlets, Higgs triplets or fermion triplets are heavy enough, their decays can gener…
It has been pointed out recently that current low-energy constraints still allow for sizable flavor-changing decay rates of the 125 GeV boson into leptons, h -> tau ell (ell= e, mu). In this work we discuss the role of hadronic tau-lepton decays in probing lepton flavor violating couplings in the Higgs sector. At low energy, the effective Higgs coupling to gluons induced by heavy quarks contributes to hadronic tau decays, establishing a direct connection with the relevant process at the LHC, pp (gg)-> h -> tau ell. Semileptonic transitions like tau -> ell pi pi are sensitive to flavor-changing…
If muon neutrinos produced in cosmological sources oscillate, neutrino telescopes can have a chance to detect tau-neutrinos. In contrast to muon neutrinos the Earth is completely transparent for tau neutrinos thanks to the short life time of tau-leptons produced in charged current interactions. Tau-lepton decaysin flight producing another tau neutrino (regeneration chain). Thus, tau neutrinos cross the Earth without being absorbed, though loosing energy both in regeneration processes and in neutral current interactions. Neutrinos of all flavors can be detected in deep underwater/ice detectors …
Using LEP1, SLD and LEP2 data, for tau lepton production, and data from CDF, D0 and LEP2, for W decays into tau leptons, we set model independent limits on non-standard electromagnetic and weak magnetic moments of the tau lepton. The most general effective Lagrangian giving rise to tau moments is used without further assumptions. Precise bounds ($2σ$) on the non-standard model contributions to tau electromagnetic ($-0.007<a_γ< 0.005$), tau Z-magnetic ($-0.0024 <a_Z< 0.0025$) and tau W-magnetic ($-0.003 < κ^W < 0.004$) dipole moments are set from the analysis.
Some important aspects of hadronic tau decays are reviewed: the determination of alpha_s from the inclusive tau hadronic width, the measurement of |V_{us}| through the Cabibbo-suppressed decays of the tau, and the theoretical description of the tau -> nu_tau K pi spectrum. The present status of other relevant electroweak topics, such as charged-current universality tests or bounds on lepton-flavour violation, has been already summarized in a previous review.
We study the current structure of the lepton flavor violating $τ\to3μ$ decay in Type-III 2HDM. This model has many coupling constants which affect this decay. We find that each coupling constant corresponds to the different final-state momenta distribution and vice versa. Using this fact, we suggest how to determine the current structure. We also find the upper limit $|η_{23}^Eη_{22}^E|<0.00022$ in the case that all Higgs bosons except for the lighter CP even neutral one $h^0$ are decoupled, $M_{h^0}=115$GeV and $\cosβ=1/\sqrt{2}$. The observable difference between the MSSM and type-III 2HDM i…
This Fifth International WEIN Symposium is devoted to physics beyond the standard model. This talk is about tau lepton physics, but I begin with the question: do we know how to find new physics in the world of elementary particles? This question is interwoven with the various tau physics topics. These topics are: searching for unexpected tau decay modes; searching for additional tau decay mechanisms; radiative tau decays; tau decay modes of the W, B, and D; decay of the Z^0 to tau pairs; searching for CP violation in tau decay; the tau neutrino, dreams and odd ideas in tau physics; and tau res…
In the lepton-specific version of two Higgs doublet models, a discrete symmetry is used to couple one Higgs, $Φ_2$, to quarks and the other, $Φ_1$, to leptons. The symmetry eliminates tree level flavor changing neutral currents (FCNC). Motivated by strong constraints on such currents in the quark sector from meson-antimeson mixing, and by hints of $h \to μτ$ in the lepton sector, we study a simple three Higgs doublet model in which one doublet couples to quarks and the other two to leptons. Unlike most other studies of three Higgs doublet models, we impose no flavor symmetry and just use a $Z_…
Within the framework of the two-Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM), we attempt to find some discrete, non-abelian flavour symmetry which could provide an explanation for the masses and mixing matrix elements of leptons. Unlike the Standard Model, currently there is no need for the flavour symmetry to be broken. With the GAP program we investigate all finite subgroups of the U3 group up to the order of 1025. Up to such an order there is no group for which it is possible to select free model parameters in order to match the masses of charged leptons, masses of neutrinos, and the Pontecorvo-Maki-Nakagawa…
The dimension-six CP-violating SU_L(2)\times U_Y(1) invariant operators involving the tau lepton are studied. The constraints from the available experimental data on tau dipole moments are derived. Under the current constraints, the induced CP-violating effects could possibly be observed in tau -> 3πν_τ at the future tau-charm factory.
For some time the measured value of tau-lepton mass continues to approach closer and closer a particular figure 1776.80 MeV predicted by an intrinsically composite model of three generations of leptons and quarks, introduced almost two decades ago. In the framework of this model, we recall briefly the argument standing behind our prediction.
The most stringent bounds on the anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments of the tau lepton was derived by Escribano and Massó[6] from the Z width at LEP in an effective lagrangian approach to the new physics. In this paper we point out that the higher dimensional operators introduced by Escribano and Massó not only modify the neutral currents of the tau lepton to Z gauge boson and the photon, but also induce lepton flavor violation (LFV). The size of the LFV effect depends crucially on the dynamics of the lepton mass generation. Assuming the lepton mass matrices in the form of an Fritzs…
We predict the branching ratios of Z -> e^{\pm} μ^{\pm}, Z -> e^{\pm} τ^{\pm} and Z -> μ^{\pm} τ^{\pm} decays in the model III version of the two Higgs doublet model, with the inclusion of one and two spatial non-universal extra dimensions. We observe that the the branching ratios are not sensitive to a single extra dimension, however, this sensitivity is considerably large for two extra dimensions.
Minimal extensions of the Standard Model that are motivated by grand unified theories or superstring models with an E_6 symmetry can naturally predict heavy neutrinos of Dirac or Majorana nature. Such heavy neutral leptons violate the de- coupling theorem at the one-loop electroweak order and hence offer a unique chance for possible lepton-flavour decays of the tau lepton, e.g. tau -> eee or tau -> mu mu mu, to be seen in LEP experiments. We analyze such decays in models with three and four generations.
We study an extension of the Inert Higgs Doublet Model (IHDM) by three copies of right handed neutrinos and heavy charged leptons such that both the inert Higgs doublet and the heavy fermions are odd under the $Z_2$ symmetry of the model. The neutrino masses are generated at one loop in the scotogenic fashion. Assuming the neutral scalar of the inert Higgs to be the dark matter candidate, we particularly look into the region of parameter space where dark matter relic abundance is primarily governed by the inert Higgs coupling with the leptons. This corresponds to tiny Higgs portal coupling of …
We calculated the differential cross sections of the processes in which one of the pair created tau particles at an e^+ e^- collider decays into lepton flavor violating final states e.g. tau -> mu gamma, tau -> 3 mu, tau -> mu ee. Using the correlations between angular distributions of both sides of tau decays, we can obtain information on parity and CP violations of lepton flavor non-conserving interactions. The formulae derived here are useful in distinguishing different models, since each model of physics beyond the standard model predicts different angular correlations. We also calculate a…
We predict the branching ratios of Z-> e^{\pm} μ^{\pm}, Z-> e^{\pm} τ^{\pm} and Z-> μ^{\pm} τ^{\pm} decays in the framework of the 2HDM, in the split fermion scenario. We observe that the branching ratios are not sensitive to a single extra dimension, however, this sensitivity is considerably large for two extra dimensions.
We study the "lepton-specific" two Higgs doublet model, in which one doublet Phi_l gives mass to charged leptons and the other Phi_q gives mass to both up- and down-type quarks. We examine the existing experimental constraints on the charged Higgs boson mass and the parameter tan(beta) \equiv <Phi_q^0>/<Phi_l^0>. The most stringent constraints come from LEP-II direct searches and lepton flavour universality in tau decays. The former yields M_H+ \geq 92.0 GeV; the latter yields two allowed regions, 0.61 tan(beta) GeV \leq M_H+ \leq 0.73 tan(beta) GeV or M_H+ \geq 1.4 tan(beta) GeV, and excludes…
We summarized our report on leptonic flavor violating Higgs decay into mu + tau under the scheme of a generic supersymmetric standard model without R parity. With known experimental constraints imposed, important combinations of R-parity violating parameters which can give notable branching ratios are listed.
We discuss upper limits on the electric dipole moments (EDM) of the tau-lepton, heavy quarks, and W-boson, which follow from the precision measurements of the electron and neutron EDM.
