We show a connection formula of the Hahn-Exton $q$-Bessel function around the origin and the infinity. We introduce the $q$-Borel transformation and the $q$-Laplace transformation following C. Zhang to obtain the connection formula. We consider the limit $p\to 1^-$ of the connection formula.

Orthogonal polynomials and Laurent polynomials related to the Hahn-Exton q-Bessel function

Laurent polynomials related to the Hahn-Exton $q$-Bessel function, which are $q$-analogues of the Lommel polynomials, have been introduced by Koelink and Swarttouw. The explicit strong moment functional with respect to which the Laurent $q$-Lommel polynomials are orthogonal is given. An addition and product formula for the Hahn-Exton $q$-Bessel function, previously obtained by use of a quantum group theoretic interpretation, are proved analytically. A (formal) limit transition to the Graf addition formula and corresponding product formula for the Bessel function is given.

Ratios of Hahn--Exton $q$-Bessel functions and $q$-Lommel polynomials

In 1993 Delest and Fédou showed that a generating function for connected skew shapes is given as a ratio $J_{ν+1}/J_ν$ of the Hahn--Exton $q$-Bessel functions when a parameter $ν$ is zero. Bounds for radii of starlikeness of some $q$-Bessel functions

In this paper the radii of starlikeness of the Jackson and Hahn-Exton $q$-Bessel functions are considered and for each of them three different normalization are applied. By applying Euler-Rayleigh inequalities for the first positive zeros of these functions tight lower and upper bounds for the radii of starlikeness of these functions are obtained. The Laguerre-Pólya class of real entire functions plays an important role in this study. In particular, we obtain some new bounds for the first positive zero of the derivative of the classical Bessel function of the first kind.

The theory of Hahn meromorphic functions, a holomorphic Fredholm theorem and its applications

We introduce a class of functions near zero on the logarithmic cover of the complex plane that have convergent expansions into generalized power series. The construction covers cases where non-integer powers of $z$ and also terms containing $\log z$ can appear. We show that under natural assumptions some important theorems from complex analysis carry over to the class of these functions.
