Stratifying derived categories of cochains on certain spaces

In recent years, Benson, Iyengar and Krause have developed a theory of stratification for compactly generated triangulated categories with an action of a graded commutative Noetherian ring. Stratification implies a classification of localizing and thick subcategories in terms of subsets of the prime ideal spectrum of the given ring. In this paper two stratification results are presented: one for the derived category of a commutative ring-spectrum with polynomial homotopy and another for the derived category of cochains on certain spaces. We also give the stratification of cochains on a space a topological content.

Coherent cochain complexes and Beilinson t-structures, with an appendix by Achim Krause

We define and study coherent cochain complexes in arbitrary stable $\infty$-categories, following Joyal. Our main result is that the $\infty$-category of coherent cochain complexes in a stable $\infty$-category $\mathscr C$ is equivalent to the $\infty$-category of complete filtered objects in $\mathscr C$. We then show how the Beilinson t-structure can be interpreted in light of such equivalence, and analyze its behavior in the presence of symmetric monoidal structures. This paper expands further on a category theoretical formulation of Hochschild cohomology for monoid objects in monoidal categories enriched over abelian groups, which has been studied in arXiv:1605.00842. Calabi-Yau categories and Poincare duality spaces

The singular cochain complex of a topological space is a classical object. It is a Differential Graded algebra which has been studied intensively with a range of methods, not least within rational homotopy theory. More recently, the tools of Auslander-Reiten theory have also been applied to the singular cochain complex. One of the highlights is that by these methods, each Poincare duality space gives rise to a Calabi-Yau category. This paper is a review of the theory.

The ghost length and duality on the chain and cochain type levels

We establish equalities between cochain and chain type levels of maps by making use of exact functors which connect appropriate derived and coderived categories. Relevant conditions for levels of maps to be finite are extracted from the equalities which we call duality on the levels. Moreover, we give a lower bound of the cochain type level of the diagonal map on the classifying space of a Lie group by considering the ghostness of a shriek map which appears in derived string topology. A variant of Koszul duality for a differential graded algebra is also discussed.

Morita theory and singularity categories

We propose an analogue of the bounded derived category for an augmented ring spectrum, defined in terms of a notion of Noether normalization. In many cases we show this category is independent of the chosen normalization. Based on this, we define the singularity and cosingularity categories measuring the failure of regularity and coregularity and prove they are Koszul dual in the style of the BGG correspondence. Differential calculus of Hochschild pairs for infinity-categories

In this paper, we provide a conceptual new construction of the algebraic structure on the pair of the Hochschild cohomology spectrum (cochain complex) and Hochschild homology spectrum, which is analogous to the structure of calculus on a manifold. This algebraic structure is encoded by a two-colored operad introduced by Kontsevich and Soibelman. We prove that for a stable idempotent-complete infinity-category, the pair of its Hochschild cohomology and homology spectra naturally admits the structure of algebra over the operad. Moreover, we prove a generalization to the equivariant context.

Cosimplicial versus DG-rings: a version of the Dold-Kan correspondence

The (dual) Dold-Kan correspondence says that there is an equivalence of categories $K:\cha\to \Ab^Δ$ between nonnegatively graded cochain complexes and cosimplicial abelian groups, which is inverse to the normalization functor.
