Alignment of the main energy fluxes along a straight line in a target plane has been observed in families of cosmic ray particles detected in the Pamir mountains. The fraction of events with alignment is statistically significant for families with superhigh energies and large numbers of hadrons. This can be interpreted as evidence for coplanar hard-scattering of secondary hadrons produced in the early stages of the atmospheric cascade development. This phenomenon can be described within the recently proposed "crystal world," with latticized and anisotropic spatial dimensions. Planar events are expected to dominate particle collisions at a hard-scattering energy exceeding the scale Λ_3 at which space transitions from 3D \rightleftharpoons 2D. We study specific collider signatures that will test this hypothesis. We show that the energy-spectrum of Drell-Yan scattering and the parton momenta sum rule are significantly modified in this framework. At the LHC, two jet and three jet events are necessarily planar, but four jet events can test the hypothesis. Accordingly, we study in a model-independent way the 5σdiscovery reach of the ATLAS and CMS experiments for identifying four jets coplanarities. For the extreme scenario in which all pp \to 4 jet scattering processes become coplanar above Λ_3, we show that with an integrated luminosity of 10(100) fb^{-1} the LHC experiments have the potential to discover correlations between jets if Λ_3 \alt 1.25(1.6) TeV.
We consider LHC searches for dilepton resonances in an intermediate mass range, $\sim 10 -80$ GeV. We adopt a kinetically mixed $Z'$ as an example of weakly coupled new physics that might have evaded detection at previous experiments but which could still be probed by LHC dilepton spectrum measurements in this mass range. Based on Monte Carlo simulations, we estimate that existing data from the 7 and 8 TeV LHC could be used to test values of the kinetic mixing parameter $ε$ several times smaller than precision electroweak upper bounds, were an appropriate analysis to be carried out by one of t…
New phenomena involving pseudorapidity and azimuthal correlations among final state particles in $pp$ collisions at the LHC can hint at the existence of hidden sectors beyond the Standard Model. In this paper we rely on a correlated-cluster picture of multiparticle production, which was shown to account for the ridge effect, to assess the effect of a hidden sector on three-particle correlations concluding that there is a potential signature of new physics that can be directly tested by experiments using well-known techniques.
Methods and ideas to search for new phenomena at existing and future collider facilities like LEPII and the LHC are analysed. Emphasis is put on the experimental aspects of discovery strategies for the Higgs Boson of the Standard Model. This is followed by a critical analysis of search methods for the extended Higgs sector and the direct detection of Supersymmetric Particles within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. We also discuss methods and the potential mass reach of the LHC experiments to discover new Bosons and Fermions.
The 40 years old Standard Model, the theory of particle physics, seems to describe all experimental data very well. All of its elementary particles were identified and studied apart from the Higgs boson until 2012. For decades many experiments were built and operated searching for it, and finally, the two main experiments of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, CMS and ATLAS, in 2012 observed a new particle with properties close to those predicted for the Higgs boson. In this paper we outline the search story: the exclusion of the Higgs boson at LEP, the Large Electron Positron collider, and its…
We study the collider phenomenology of a simplified model containing a right-handed $W$ in which the $W_R$ couples predominantly to the third generation in the quark sector. The model also includes a light Majorana neutrino, with $M_1\sim {\cal O}(100)$ GeV, giving rise to lepton-number-violating signatures that are visible at the LHC. Taking into account all the searches from the LHC and Tevatron, we find that this $W_R$ can still be as light as $M_R \sim 300$ GeV. We show that this type of new physics, and others like it, can be detected at the LHC using final states with three same-sign sam…
While the triplet-like Higgses up to a few hundred GeV masses are already excluded for a vast region of the model parameter space from the LHC searches, strikingly, there is a region of this parameter space that is beyond the reach of the existing LHC searches, and doubly/singly-charged and neutral Higgses as light as 200 GeV or even lighter are still allowed by the LHC data. We study several search strategies targeting different parts of this LHC elusive parameter space at two configurations of $e^-e^+$ colliders -- 500 GeV and 1 TeV centre of mass energies. We find that a vast region of this…
We advocate for the construction of a new detector element at the LHCb experiment, designed to search for displaced decays of beyond standard model long-lived particles, taking advantage of a large shielded space in the LHCb cavern that is expected to soon become available. We discuss the general features and putative capabilities of such an experiment, as well as its various advantages and complementarities with respect to the existing LHC experiments and proposals such as SHiP and MATHUSLA. For two well-motivated beyond Standard Model benchmark scenarios -- Higgs decay to dark photons and $B…
We explore strategies for probing Hidden Valley scenarios exhibiting confinement. Such scenarios lead to a multiplicity of light hidden hadrons from showering processes. Their decays are typically soft and displaced, making them challenging to probe with traditional LHC searches. We show the low trigger thresholds and excellent track and vertex reconstruction at LHCb provide an ideal environment to search for such signals -- in both muonic and hadronic channels. We also explore the potential of ATLAS/CMS and discuss modifications to present searches that might make these experiments competitiv…
We investigate the discovery potential of light color-octet bosons in the mass range of 100 - 400 GeV in exclusive top-pair plus jet production at the LHC. We study the impact of such bosons on the incline, the energy and the rapidity asymmetries. We show that light axigluons with large couplings to quarks can be discovered at the LHC with a luminosity of a few inverse fb. Almost all of the considered axigluon parameter space can be probed using the already available 2011/2012 LHC data. In a small-coupling scenario, axigluons could be discovered using the charge asymmetry with 65 inverse fb at…
We study the collider phenomenology of sbottom-bino co-annihilation scenario at both the 7 TeV and 14 TeV LHC. This co-annihilation scenario requires that the NLSP sbottom and LSP bino masses are apart by no more than about 20% or so, and for M_{\tilde{b}_1}>M_b+M_{\tildeχ_1^0}, the sbottom decays exclusively into b+\tildeχ_1^0. We propose a search for sbottom pairs through b\bar{b} plus missing energy. By scanning the mass parameters M_{\tilde{b}_1} and M_{\tildeχ_1^0}, we investigate the discovery limits of sbottom and bino in the M_{\tilde{b}_1}-M_{\tildeχ_1^0} plane with at least 5σsignifi…
We study the impact of a hidden sector beyond the Standard Model, e.g. a Hidden Valley model, on factorial moments and cumulants of multiplicity distributions in multiparticle production with a special emphasis on the prospects for LHC results.
The aim of this work is to explore the possibility to discover a fermionic field with mass dimension one, the Elko field, in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Due to its mass dimension, an Elko can only interact either with Standard Model (SM) spinors and gauge fields at 1-loop order or at tree level through a quartic interaction with the Higgs field. In this Higgs portal scenario, the Elko is a viable candidate to a dark matter constituent which has been shown to be compatible with relic abundance measurements from WMAP and direct dark matter--nucleon searches. We propose a search strategy for…
In this talk, I describe the general characteristics of radiative neutrino mass models that can be probed at the LHC. I then cover the constraints on a new, explicit model of this type.
The LHC discovery of a light Higgs particle $h^0$ (125GeV) opens up new prospect for searching heavier Higgs boson(s) at the LHC Run-2, which will unambiguously point to new physics beyond the standard model (SM). We study the detection of a heavier neutral Higgs boson $H^0$ via di-Higgs production channel at the LHC (14TeV), $H^0 \to h^0h^0 \to WW^*γγ$. This directly probes the $Hhh$ cubic Higgs interaction, which exists in most extensions of the SM Higgs sector. For the decay products of final states $WW^*$, we include both pure leptonic mode $WW^* \to \ell\barν\bar{\ell}ν$ and semi-leptonic…
Following a general introduction to open questions beyond the Standard Model, the prospects for addressing them in the new era opened up by the LHC are reviewed. Sample highlights are given of ways in which the LHC is already probing beyond previous experiments, including the searches for supersymmetry, quark and gluon substructure and microscopic black holes.
We argue that evidence can be uncovered for stops between 300-600 GeV in 5 fb^-1 of 7 TeV proton-proton collisions if they decay into top quarks and light neutral particles. We also show that with 20 fb^-1 of 8 TeV running, discovery or exclusion can be made in large regions of parameter space. Events with a fully hadronic top/anti-top pair and a pair of invisible decay products can be identified with the top-tagging of a fat jet, a single b-tag, a missing transverse energy cut, as well as other kinematic cuts to reduce backgrounds with real top quarks in them. Such cuts obliterate the backgro…
Most signatures of new physics in colliders have been studied so far on the transverse plane with respect to the beam direction. In this work however we study the impact of a hidden sector beyond the Standard Model (SM) on inclusive (pseudo)rapidity correlations and moments of the multiplicity distributions, with special emphasis in the LHC results.
We investigate the sensitivity of the heavy ion mode of the LHC to anomalous Higgs boson couplings to photons, H-photon-photon, through the analysis of the processes photon photon to b anti-b and photon photon to photon photon in peripheral heavy ion collisions. We suggest cuts to improve the signal over background ratio and determine the capability of LHC to impose bounds on anomalous couplings by searching for a Higgs boson signal in these modes.
In the framework of spin-0 $s$-channel dark matter (DM) simplified models, we reassess the sensitivity of future LHC runs to the production of DM in association with top quarks. We consider two different missing transverse energy ($E_T^{\mathrm{miss}}$) signatures, namely production of DM in association with either a $t \bar t$ pair or a top quark and a $W$ boson, where the latter channel has not been the focus of a dedicated analysis prior to this work. Final states with two leptons are studied and a realistic analysis strategy is developed that simultaneously takes into account both channels…
We propose a novel method for probing sleptons in compressed spectra at hadron colliders. The process under study is slepton pair production in R-parity conserving supersymmetry, where the slepton decays to a neutralino LSP of mass close to the slepton mass. In order to pass the trigger and obtain large missing energy, an energetic mono-jet is required. Both leptons need to be detected in order to suppress large standard model backgrounds with one charged lepton. We study variables that can be used to distinguish the signal from the remaining major backgrounds, which include tt, WW+jet, Z+jet,…
We investigate the potential of LHC resonance searches in leptonic final states to probe the $Z'$ in the minimal $U(1)_{B-L}$ model. Considering the current constraints on the $Z'$ in terms of its mass $m_{Z'}$ and the associated gauge coupling $g_{B-L}$ as well as constraints in the Higgs sector, we analyse the potential of dilepton and four lepton final states for $Z'$ production. This includes Drell-Yan production, Higgs mediated decays and final state radiation processes concentrating only on the ATLAS and CMS detectors at the LHC. We show that the four-lepton final state is sensitive to $…
We study the signal of dark matter and photon associated production induced by the vector and axial-vector operators at the LHC, including the QCD next-to-leading order (NLO) effects. We find that the QCD NLO corrections reduce the dependence of the total cross sections on the factorization and renormalization scales, and the $K$ factors increase with the increasing of the dark matter mass, which can be as large as about 1.3 for both the vector and axial-vector operators. Using our QCD NLO results, we improve the constraints on the new physics scale from the results of the recent CMS experimen…
The conventional way to search for long-lived CHArged Massive Particles (CHAMPs) is to identify slow (small $β$) tracks using delayed time of flight and high ionization energy loss. But at the 7-14 TeV center of mass energy of the LHC, a CHAMP may be highly boosted (high $β$) and therefore look more like a minimum ionizing particle, while for high momentum muons (more than $\sim$500 GeV/c) the radiative effect dominates energy deposition. This suggests a new strategy to search for CHAMPs at the LHC. Using energy deposition from different detector components, we construct a boosted decision tre…
Recently it was shown that there is a class of models in which colored vector and scalar resonances can be copiously produced at the Tevatron with decays to multijet final states, consistent with all experimental constraints and having strong discovery potential. We investigate the collider phenomenology of TeV scale colored resonances at the LHC and demonstrate a strong discovery potential for the scalars with early data as well as the vectors with additional statistics. We argue that the signal can be self-calibrating and using this fact we propose a search strategy which we show to be robus…
After a brief introduction to the theoretical basis of the Higgs mechanism for generating the masses of elementary particles, the experimental searches for Higgs particles will be summarized, from bounds at LEP to inferences for LHC. The report will focus on the Standard Model, though some central results on extended Higgs systems, as conjectured for example in supersymmetric theories, will also be recapitulated. Alternative scenarios based on spontaneous symmetry breaking by novel strong interactions are adumbrated at the theoretical level.
We analyze relevant signals expected at the LHC for a stop as the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP). The discussion is carried out in the framework of the $μν$SSM, where the presence of $R$-parity violating couplings involving right-handed neutrinos solves the $μ$-problem and reproduces neutrino data. The stops are pair produced at the LHC, decaying with displaced vertices to a lepton and a bottom quark or a neutrino and a top quark. We compare the predictions of this scenario with ATLAS and CMS searches for long-lived particles. To analyze the parameter space we sample the $μν$SSM for a …
These TASI lectures consider low mass hidden sectors from Hidden Valleys, Quirks and Unparticles. We show how each corresponds to a different limit of the same class of models: hidden sectors with non-abelian gauge groups with mass gaps well below a TeV that communicate to the Standard Model through weak scale suppressed higher dimension operators. We provide concrete examples of such models and discuss LHC signatures. Lastly we turn to discussing the application of Hidden Valleys to dark matter sectors.
Weak boson fusion is a copious source of intermediate mass Higgs bosons at the LHC, with a rate sigma*B(H -> gamma gamma) of up to 9 fb. The additional very energetic forward jets in these events provide for a unique signature. A parton level analysis of the dominant backgrounds demonstrates that this channel allows the observation of H -> gamma gamma in a low background environment, with modest luminosity.
We pursue a scenario where the lighter top squark (stop) mass is accessible for the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in the near future, while gluinos and first two generation squarks are heavier. At $\sqrt{s} = 8$ TeV, we investigate the identification of stops which decay predominantly into a top quark and the stable lightest supersymmetric particle. We use a simple kinematical variable, $M3$, to reconstruct two top quarks which are pair-produced from the stops, in the fully hadronic channel. The dominant Standard Model (SM) background for this signal stems from $t\bar t$ plus jets, with one top …
In this paper we investigate the LHC potential for discovering doubly-charged vector bileptons considering the measurable process $p,p$ $\rightarrow$ $e^{\mp}e^{\mp}μ^{\pm}μ^{\pm} X$. We perform the study using four different bilepton masses and three different exotics quark masses. Minimal LHC integrated luminosities needed for discovering and for setting limits on bilepton masses are obtained for both 7 TeV and 14 TeV center-of-mass energies. We find that these spectacular signatures can be observed at the LHC in the next years up to a bilepton mass of order of 1 TeV.
The LHC copiously produces muons via different processes, and the muon sample will be large at the high-luminosity LHC (HL-LHC). In this work we propose to leverage this large muon sample and utilize the HL-LHC as a muon fixed-target experiment, with the ATLAS calorimeter as the target. We consider a novel analysis for the ATLAS detector, which takes advantage of the two independent muon momentum measurements by the inner detector and the muon system. We show that a comparison of the two measurements, before and after the calorimeters, can probe new force carriers that are coupled to muons and…
We analyze the decays to muons of a light dilaton produced via vector boson fusion at the LHC. We investigate models in which the electroweak symmetry breaking is triggered by a spontaneously broken, approximately conformal sector. Taking into account the possibility of shifts in the dilaton Yukawa couplings to muons, we find a rather promising scenario for the conformal model search in the channel, with the possibility for a dilaton discovery at a delivered luminosity of 100 fb-1 at the LHC or, alternatively, for an extension of the exclusion zone in the model parameter space, until now fixed…
Using a peculiar version of the SU(3)L x U(1)N electroweak model, we investigate the production of doubly charged Higgs boson at the Large Hadron Collider. Our results include branching ratio calculations for the doubly charged Higgs and for one of the neutral scalar bosons of the model.
Many models of dark matter predict long-lived particles (LLPs) that can give rise to striking signatures at the LHC. Existing searches for displaced vertices are however tailored towards heavy LLPs. In this work we show that this bias severely affects their sensitivity to LLPs with masses at the GeV scale. To illustrate this point we consider two dark sector models with light LLPs that decay hadronically: a strongly-interacting dark sector with long-lived exotic mesons, and a Higgsed dark sector with a long-lived dark Higgs boson. We study the sensitivity of an existing ATLAS search for displa…
The existence of the tiny neutrino mass and the flavor mixing can be naturally explained by type-I Seesaw model which is probably the simplest extension of the Standard Model (SM) using Majorana type SM gauge singlet heavy Right Handed Neutrinos (RHNs). If the RHNs are around the Electroweak(EW)-scale having sizable mixings with the SM light neutrinos, they can be produced at the high energy colliders such as Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and future $100$ TeV proton-proton (pp) collider through the characteristic signatures with same sign di-lepton introducing lepton number violations(LNV). On t…
The production of a neutral, CP even Higgs via weak boson fusion and decay H -> tau tau at the LHC is studied for the Standard Model and MSSM, utilizing a parton level Monte Carlo analysis. This channel allows a 5 sigma observation of a Standard Model Higgs with an integrated luminosity of about 30 fb^-1, and provides a direct measurement of the H-tau-tau coupling. For the MSSM case, a highly significant signal for at least one of the Higgs bosons with reasonable luminosity is possible over the entire physical parameter space which will be left unexplored by LEP2.
We show that heavy ion collisions at the LHC provide a promising environment to search for new long lived particles in well-motivated New Physics scenarios. One advantage lies in the possibility to operate the main detectors with looser triggers, which can increase the number of observable events by orders of magnitude if the long lived particles are produced with low transverse momentum. In addition, the absence of pileup in heavy ion collisions can avoid systematic nuisances that will be present in future proton runs, such as the problem of vertex mis-identification. Finally, there are new p…
We discuss four-jet production at the LHC. We calculate cross section for both single-parton scattering (SPS) using the ALPGEN code as well as for double-parton scattering (DPS) in leading-order collinear approach. Our results are compared with experimental data obtained recently by the CMS collaboration. We show that the ALPGEN code relatively well describes distributions in transverse momenta and rapidity of each of the four jets ordered by their transverse momenta (leading, subleading etc.). The SPS mechanism does not explain the distributions at large rapidity for the leading jet. The DPS …
We discuss the prospects of searching for the neutral Higgs bosons of the triplet model in central exclusive production at the LHC. A detailed Monte Carlo analysis is presented for six benchmark scenarios for the Higgs boson, $H_1^{0}$, these cover $m_{H_1^0}=$~120, 150 GeV and doublet-triplet mixing of $c_H=$~0.2, 0.5 or 0.8. We find that, for appropriate values of $c_H$, an excellent Higgs mass measurement is possible for the neutral Higgs in the triplet model, and discuss how to distinguish the triplet model Higgs boson from the Higgs boson of the Standard Model.
We consider LHC searches for dark matter in the mono-Higgs channel using the tools of effective field theory. This channel takes unique advantage of the presence of $SU(2)_L$ breaking in those operators to avoid the need for any initial-state radiation, usually necessary to tag the production of invisible particles. We find that sensitivities to parameters describing dark matter interactions with standard model particles are comparable to those from monojet searches for a subset of the usually-considered operators, and we present for the first time bounds from collider searches on operators wh…
Theoretical and experimental techniques employed in dedicated searches for dark matter at hadron colliders are reviewed. Bounds from the 7 and 8 TeV proton-proton collisions at the LHC on dark matter interactions have been collected and the results interpreted. We review the current status of the Effective Field Theory picture of dark matter interactions with the Standard Model. Currently, LHC experiments have stronger bounds on operators leading to spin-dependent scattering than direct detection experiments, while direct detection probes are more constraining for spin-independent scattering f…
The possibility to use the exclusive $pp \to pp ϕ$ and $pp \to pp ϕϕ$ reactions in identifying the odderon exchange is discussed. So far there is no unambiguous experimental evidence for the odderon, the charge conjugation $C = -1$ counterpart of the $C = +1$ pomeron. Recently proposed tensor-pomeron and vector-odderon model for soft high-energy reactions is applied. For the $p p \to p p ϕ$ reaction at high energies the photon-pomeron fusion is the dominant process and the odderon-pomeron fusion is an interesting alternative. Adding odderon exchange improves considerably description of the pro…
Heavy Neutral Leptons are naturally present in many well-motivated extensions of the Standard Model. If their mass is of few dozens of GeVs, they can be long-lived and lead to events with displaced vertices, giving rise to promising signatures due to the low background. We revisit the opportunities offered by the LHC to discover these long-lived states via searches with displaced vertices. We study in particular the implication on the parameter space sensitivity when all mixings to active flavors are taken into account.
A Higgs portal dark matter model for explaining the gamma-ray excess from the galactic center can be realized with the extension of local $SU(2)_X$ gauge symmetry with one quadruplet. Due to the residual $Z_3$ discrete symmetry of $SU(2)_X$, the new gauge bosons are the stable dark matter candidates. Due to the mixture of the standard model Higgs doublet and the introduced quadruplet, dark matter could annihilate into the standard model particles through the Higgs portal and new scalar portal. We study the discovery significance of the vector dark matter at the Large Hadron Collider. The invol…
Searching for $B_c$ mesons in the ATLAS experiment at LHC
Despite rather long-term theoretical and experimental studies, the hypothesis of the non-zero intrinsic (or valence-like) heavy quark component of the proton distribution functions has not yet been confirmed or rejected. The LHC with $pp$-collisions at $\sqrt{s}=$ 7--14 TeV will obviously supply extra unique information concerning the above-mentioned component of the proton. To use the LHC potential, first of all, one should select the parton-level (sub)processes (and final-state signatures) that are most sensitive to the intrinsic heavy quark contributions. To this end inclusive production of…
In the light of recent experimental results from IceCube, LHC searches for scalar leptoquark, and the flavor anomalies $R_K$ and $R_{K^*}$, we analyze two scalar leptoquark models with hypercharge $Y=1/6$ and $Y=7/6$. We consider the 53 high-energy starting events from IceCube and perform a statistical analysis, taking into account both the Standard Model and leptoquark contribution together. The lighter leptoquark states that are in agreement with IceCube are strongly constrained from LHC di-lepton+dijet search. Heavier leptoquarks in the TeV mass range are in agreement both with IceCube and …
In an extension of the Standard Model(SM) based on the ideas of Lee and Wick, Grinstein, O'Connell and Wise have found an interesting way to remove the usual quadratically divergent contributions to the Higgs mass induced by radiative corrections. Phenomenologically, the model predicts the existence of Terascale, negative-norm copies of the usual SM fields with rather unique properties: ghost-like propagators and negative decay widths, but with otherwise SM-like couplings. The model is both unitary and causal on macroscopic scales. In this paper we examine whether or not such states with these…
We show that ultra-peripheral heavy-ion collisions at the LHC can be used to search for axion-like particles with mass below 100 GeV. The $Z^4$ enhanced photon-photon luminosity from the ions provides a large exclusive production rate, with a signature of a resonant pair of back-to-back photons and no other activity in the detector. In addition, we present both new and updated limits from recasting multi-photon searches at LEP II and the LHC, which are more stringent than those currently in the literature for the mass range 100 MeV to 100 GeV.
Direct searches at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) have pushed the lower limits on the masses of the gluinos ($\tilde{g}$) and the squarks of the first two generations ($\tilde{q}$) to the TeV range. On the other hand, the limits are rather weak for the third generation squarks and masses around a few hundred GeV are still allowed. A comparatively light third generation of squarks is also consistent with the lightest Higgs boson with mass $\sim$ 125 GeV. In view of this, we consider the direct production of a pair of sbottom quarks ($\tilde{b}_1$) at the LHC and study their collider signatures…
The Higgs-portal lepton flavor violation is studied in a vectorlike lepton model. For evading the constraints from rare $Z\to \ell^\pm_i \ell^\mp_j$ decays, we introduce two triplet vectorlike leptons, $(1,3)_{-1}$ and $(1,3)_{0}$. The resultant branching ratio for $h\to μτ$ can be up to $10^{-4}$ when the constraints from the invisible $Z$ decays are applied. As a result, the signal strength for $ττ$ channel has a $12\%$ deviation from the standard model prediction, while the muon $g-2$ is two-order of magnitude smaller than the data and $BR(τ\to μγ)$ is of order of $10^{-12}$. A predicted do…
In this work, we analyse and demonstrate possible strategies to explore extended Higgs sector of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM). In particular we concentrate on heavy Higgs decays to electroweakinos. We analyse the Higgs to electroweakino decays in the allowed MSSM parameter space after taking into account 13 TeV LHC searches for supersymmetric particles and phenomenological constraints such as flavour physics, Higgs measurements and dark matter constraints. We explore some novel aspects of these Higgs decays. The final states resulting from Higgs to electroweakino decays wil…
We present a strategy for searching for heavy neutrinos at the Large Hadron Collider using the MoEDAL Experiment's MAPP detector. We hypothesize the heavy neutrino to be a member of a fourth generation lepton doublet, with the electric dipole moment (EDM) introduced within a dimension-five operator. In this model the heavy neutrino is produced in association with a heavy lepton. According to our current experimental and theoretical understanding, the electric dipole moment of this heavy neutrino may be as high as $10^{-15}$ $e$ cm. Taking advantage of the sensitivity of MoEDAL detector, we exa…
